What Is Shown

Note: I’m not an x reader writer but this idea wouldn’t leave my mind so this is more of a ramble than anything; characters might be ooc and English isn’t my first language so bear with me.

Intro: You know how during the Dressrosa arc everyone went to that fight ready to risk their lives and I find it really interesting that one of them got himself a wife instead. So I got this idea of how they would react when they’re fighting their future wife. I also added the soulmate au where whatever is in the person's arm/hands appears to their soulmate’s arm/hands as well.

Luffy

◎ He probably has some sort of enthusiasm towards the whole soulmate thing. He sometimes scribbles in his hand like he’s expecting some sort of response from his soulmate (definitely writes: “I’m gonna be the Pirate King!”). You’re like a hidden treasure, he’s unsure of whether you do exist, but it sure excites him.

◎ You’re a villager of a pretty lively village. Lively in the sense that pirates would land and pillage it. And you, knowing full well that one can’t always depend on the Marines, took it upon yourself to train, get stronger, and defend your hometown from pirates. Growing up, you also gained strong allies that protect the village with you.

◎ You’ve been alerted that pirates can be seen heading to the island and immediately get to action. Seeing the flag, you recognize it as the Straw Hats pirates.

◎ You know that they’re not a weak group of pirates that you’ve fought against before, you’ve read the news. You warn your teammates not to let their guards down.

◎ Upon landing, Luffy immediately goes to town, to where he can smell the good food and adventure, the voices and warnings of his crew falling to deaf ears

◎ That’s where you show up to intercept. Luffy senses you and defends himself from your attack.

 “Woah, hey!”

 “What’re you here for, pirate!?”

 “Calm down, we’re only here to restock and EAT”

 “Yeah!? By stealing what’s ours!?”

◎ Luffy recognizes that there’s no stopping you. He defends himself from your attacks but still, you’re pretty strong so he gets kinda serious.

◎ One of the attacks hits you and you get a cut in your arm. The same cut appears in Luffy’s arm. At first, he thinks it's some kind of Devil Fruit ability. Until you get hit elsewhere other than your arm and it didn’t happen to Luffy, until you hit his arm and the same appears in yours.

◎ He goes wide eyed, immediately loops his arms around you so that you can’t move, grabs your shoulders, closes the distance, and screams: “We’re soulmates!!”

◎ “Ha?” You’re absolutely baffled. Like you guys were fighting intensely and now this.

◎ He lets go of you and declares that your fight is over.

 “No way! I won’t let you pirates pillage my hometown!”

◎ He grins widely at you and says that they weren't planning on doing that.

◎ You soon see the rest of his crew, along with your team. Your team waves at you, and considering how they look, it seems they were defeated by the pirates. One of your teammates reassures you that they’re not here to destroy anything. You’re still doubtful, but it's not like your teammate would lie to you.

◎ The crew sees Luffy.

 “It’s unlike you to not already be in a mess of trouble.” Zoro chuckles.

 “Shishishi. Hey, guys, she’s our new crewmate, she’s pretty strong!”

 “Like hell I’m anyone's crewmate!,” you couldn’t help but intervene.

 “? But we’re soulmates!”

 “You keep saying that-”

 “Heh, well, I gotta say it’s a pleasure-,” Sanji cuts himself off upon seeing you and when Luffy’s words finally sinked in.

 “EHHHHHH!?”

◎ They still do what they wanted to do: restock and eat. You’re with them to make sure they’re not going to do anything bad, as if you’re not curious about this guy who’s apparently, really your soulmate.

◎ As Luffy stuffs his face with food, he introduces himself and his crew to you.

 “What, so you didn’t even know each other yet?”

◎ Both you and Luffy nod, and he continues with the introductions. “And the one in the corner is Sanji. He’s a really good cook!”

 “Why is he in the corner?”

 “I dunno.”

 “Damn it! How could Luffy meet his soulmate before me!? And a complete beauty at that!”

◎ You decided to ignore him.

 “And,” he gulps down a mouthful of meat. “You are?”

 “...Y/N.”

 “You’re amazingly strong! C’mon you've got to join my crew!”

 “No way!”

 “But it’s going to be so fun. It’s an adventure!”

 “I’ve got to protect this village!”

 “No problem! We can protect it. I can protect you!”

◎ You’ve never expected to hear such words from a pirate. And it turned you speechless. He gets hit by Nami, who apologizes on his behalf.

◎ Everyone will do their own thing once the meal is done. You momentarily leave them so you could talk to your team and assign them to keep watch on each individual. Nami takes this chance to talk to Luffy.

 “I understand how you feel, Luffy, but pirating has to be her own choice.”

 “Nami's right. Considering how unpredictable and dangerous the sea is, you can’t force her to come with us.”

 “She can handle it!”

◎ Almost everyone groans and Luffy frowns.

 “You don’t want her in our crew!?”

 “That’s not it, Captain. Listen.”

◎ Unknown to them, the topic with your team is also about joining their crew.

 “What?”

 “I heard they’re recruiting you over. Why not join them? It’s not like we can’t handle protecting the village.”

 “What are you-”

 “Go on, Leader! You’re always staring at the sea. It’s obvious that you’re curious about what lies beyond this little island.”

◎ And when you do decide to go with them, Luffy will be overjoyed. Expect a big hug. The rest of the crew also gladly welcome you.

◎ I don’t have a definite timeline for this but if you want it to be painful then obviously before the timeskip.

◎ He said he’ll protect you. But seeing you disappear in front of his eyes, within arms reach, tears him apart even more.

◎ He said he’ll protect you. But what use were those words if he couldn’t actually make it happen?

◎ He promised he’d protect you. Because you’re his soulmate. Because he’s been looking forward to meeting you.

◎ When he landed on Amazon Lily, one of his priorities was to write on his arm just so he could ask if you’re alright. He unfortunately didn’t have time for that as he got chased around by the warriors.

◎ When things calmed down and he managed to get a ship to rescue Ace, he wrote: “I hope you’re alright. I’ve got to rescue Ace!”

◎ The war happens and it tears you apart to be away from him when all this happened. But even if you can write back, maybe because he’s wrapped up in his bandages and in his sadness, to put it lightly, he doesn’t see it.

◎ Thank heavens for Jinbei. He immediately removes the bandages in his arm to see if you’ve written anything. And you did. I swear he cries even more.

◎ During training with Rayleigh, he definitely bans both of you from writing.

◎ After 2 years and you guys meet again, expect a big hug (and no, you can’t convince me that he didn’t give his crew a big group hug)

◎ He swears to you that he’s stronger, that he won’t fail to keep his promise. And of course, you don’t doubt those words.

Zoro

⚔︎ He’s not very excited with the idea. He’s going to be the greatest swordsman, who cares if he has a soulmate or not. And why would something in his arm dictate that you are meant to be together? He will decide that for himself.

⚔︎ He’s at least glad that unlike the others, you’re not messing with your arm and scribbling stuff in it.

⚔︎ He meets you after he gets flown to Mihawk’s castle. You’re with Mihawk when he returns from the war.

⚔︎ You don’t know much about the guy but seeing him injured, you offered to take care of his wounds, taking Perona’s place.

⚔︎ When Mihawk accepted to train Zoro, you’re certainly surprised and curious about this green haired swordsman.

⚔︎ Other than the baboons, Mihawk asks you to be Zoro’s opponent. You don’t really mind so you agreed.

⚔︎ Zoro will probably be focused on the training to notice anything about both of your arms. So you’re most likely the one who’ll discover it.

⚔︎ You’re tending to his wounds after his training when you see it. The placement of his cuts and wounds are similar to yours, no-its definitely identical.

⚔︎ You almost drop the bandages from the realization. You hurriedly finish wrapping him up and rush to Mihawk or Perona to share the news.

⚔︎ Unfortunately for you, this is your first time in the castle. It’s not surprising you’d get lost.

⚔︎ That’s where you see Zoro wandering about as well.

 “Hm? Are you lost?”

⚔︎ You’re relieved to find someone, and probably someone who can help. You explain that you’re trying to find Mihawk.

⚔︎ He points in a direction and says, “Isn’t he that way?”

 “Thank you!”

⚔︎ He sounded so sure. But now, you really don’t know where you are. You turn and turn to no avail. That’s when you see him again.

⚔︎ You rush towards him. “Liar!”

 “Ow! What the-”

 “He wasn’t there!”

 “Well-hm?”

⚔︎ In your frustration, you don’t notice him eyeing the bandages in your arm. He’s sure that he didn’t give you a cut in that location during training. He points to your arm.

 “I’m not falling for that again. Can you please just take me to where he is!?”

⚔︎ He grumbles low but you hear something along the lines of “troublesome woman”

⚔︎ You follow him on where he goes…and well

⚔︎ “We’ve been there!” “We just went a full circle!” “I said left! Why are you going to the right!? I mean, I can understand but don’t you know the simple trick of making a letter L with your fingers and whichever hand has the correct L is where the left is!?”

 “Shut up!”

⚔︎ Great, two lost children. It’s Perona that saves the two of you.

 “What are you two doing here? It’s time for dinner.”

 “Perona!”

 “Ugh, did this guy get lost again? Sorry you got stuck with this guy, Y/N.”

⚔︎ Almost all is well until Perona notices the bandages in your arm as well.

 “Hm? Y/N, when did you get hurt?”

⚔︎ Perona’s a girl too. You figured it would be safe to tell her. Big mistake.

 “No way! You two are soulmates!?”

 “Ah?”

 “Perona, you traitor!!”

⚔︎ You timidly glance towards the swordsman but he doesn’t seem to be that interested in it.

 “What? That wouldn’t suddenly change how I treat you.”

 “I know. And I’m glad.”

 “Whattttt?”

 “Come on, Perona. Why should a cut in my arm dictate that we are meant to be together? I’ll decide that for myself.”

⚔︎ That catches his attention. He’s glad that the both of you share the same thought about soulmates.

⚔︎ But Perona has other plans. She acts like a wingman and tries to get you two to spend more time together. Rather than bothering an unmovable Mihawk, she’d rather be entertained by the two of you.

⚔︎ Despite the whole Perona thing, the two of you did grow fond of each other. How strong you are, how you’re always there when he finishes training, he’s exhausted but you’re already tending to him.

⚔︎ You like to drink as well, so when Zoro completes the training you steal the most delicious wine Mihawk has, to which you get caught but you plead with him to let Zoro drink. Or at least you. You’ll try to find a way to sneak some for Zoro.

⚔︎ Two years. You’ve spent the two whole years together and now it might be time to say goodbye.

⚔︎ He decided to talk to you as he prepares for his departure.

 “What are your plans now?”

⚔︎ He tried to ask nonchalantly but you know him better now.

⚔︎ You join him on his trip back to Sabaody, well aware that if left alone, he might take another 2 years to get there.

 “What? So your friends aren’t here yet? Bummer, I wanted to meet them.”

 “That just means we’ve got some time to kill. Hmm, how does fishing sound?”

 “Sure! Are you good at it?”

⚔︎ You subconsciously follow him, and luckily, the two of you do find someplace to fish. Unluckily, it was the wrong boat. It might’ve been just a moment but that image of Zoro underwater is burned to your mind.

 “Old man, is it this guy?”

 “Yes! He was with a woman too.”

 “A woman?”

⚔︎ Imagine Sanji’s surprise when the two of you emerge.

 “Woah, what, blood? Oh my goodness, Zoro! He’s dying! We’ve got to-”

 “Leave him be.”

⚔︎ Soon, the Straw Hats have to depart, especially since Luffy has arrived on the island. You tag along with the two to see his captain, a man so incredible to be able to tame the swordsman. You help stop the Marines from preventing their departure.

 “Whoa, who’s that, Zoro? A friend of yours?”

 “Hey Luffy. I want her to join us. Can she tag along?”

Law

❥ He has a freaking tattoo! When it appeared on your skin, you definitely screamed. Your soulmate has decided that the two of you will bear this tattoo for the rest of your lives. At least, the design is kind of cool so you can’t be too mad.

❥ For his timeline, I’m thinking of the time he was away from his crew. Like imagine him reuniting with his crew in Zou and they see you and Law’s like “she’s my wife.” The crew wouldn’t be able to keep up with all of this information!

❥ Maybe he meets you in Punk Hazard. You’re at the cold side of the island so it’s only natural that you’re all covered up. Maybe like Momonosuke, you hid in the ship and they unknowingly took you. You stole their clothes so you could disguise yourself.

 “Half deer? I didn’t know such a creature existed.”

❥ You landed no problem and it doesn’t seem like they suspect a stow away. But the problem comes after.

❥ You’re trying to leave when you get discovered by Law. You fought against him but ultimately ended up like the samurai, he cut you apart.

❥ You’re freed when some pirates break the cell. And unlike a certain samurai, you ask for their help to find your other body part. Thankfully, they’re kind enough to help you.

❥ The Straw Hat who finds your body discovers the tattoo. They remember seeing it somewhere before.

❥ At first, they thought you were an acquaintance of Law, but it was obvious you’ve never met him in your life.

❥ That fact will probably only come to light after Luffy and Law formed an alliance.

❥ Law is not on board in saving the kids but Nami wants to so ultimately that’s what Luffy wants too. You silently raise your hand and say that you want to save them too.

❥ To which Luffy gives you a wide grin, “See, Torao, even your soulmate wants to save the kids!”

 “Ha?”

 “Not fair. I wanna meet my soulmate soon too.”

❥ Everyone is silent and Luffy is confused. “Hm? What’s up?”

 “Luffy!! You weren’t supposed to tell them!,” someone whisper-yells. Whoever it was, you didn’t care.

❥ Was it true? That would mean that the man who gave the two of you tattoos is right in front of you. You can now finally scream at his face for the reason why. But you try to calm down. First, you’ve got to know if it’s true.

❥ You grab his arm. “Oi, what are you-”

❥ You push his sleeves, and there, the confirmation you’ve been seeking. You show him the same ink in your skin. He’s surprised but he shakes his head.

 “We don’t have time for that.” They’ve got to set in motion the plan and it certainly shocks you.

 “Ehhhh!? Kaido!? I’m soulmates with such an unbelievable guy!?”

 “You’re not a Straw Hat nor are you a member of my crew. You don’t need to take part.”

 “I want to save the kids!!”

❥ And so the whole thing gets into motion. He knows you’re strong just from seeing you and even more so since he’s faced you in battle. But he did get relieved when he saw you with everyone in the meeting place at R-block.

❥ There’s a big feast to celebrate and although you’re neither a pirate nor a marine, they offer you food. You happily accept and get swept with the party. Unknown to you, Law’s eyes don't leave you. He may have brushed the matter off earlier but it remained in his mind through the whole thing.

❥ Other than the trouble that is Straw Hat Luffy, you’ve certainly disrupted his plans by simply showing up at this timing. He’s going to face Doflamingo and he’s uncertain of what will happen in the future.

❥ Still, the matter with the children has been taken care of. There’s no need to tag along with the pirates. You glance towards your soulmate. He has said it. You have no place in the plan. Maybe you should at least be glad that you did meet rather than never.

❥ You’re heading to board the Marine’s ship but are stopped by a firm grab on your wrist. You turn to see Law, hiding his face with his hat.

❥ Even though he’s uncertain, he’s not willing to let you go on this island, especially with the marines.

 “Come with me, Y/N-ya.”

❥ That’s all he says, after all it’s not an order but an invitation filled with the desire to spend more time with you and get to know you.

❥ If you do come with him, you bet you’ll be one of the reasons the Straw Hats give more headache to Law.

 “You’re not gonna join your wifey?” one of them jokes when you’re not around.

❥ You join them in Dressrosa. You’re not on Law’s team but you don’t mind. You wish him luck and safety.

 “Aren’t you getting too focused on Doflamingo? What about Y/N?”

 “...”

❥ So when you heard that Doflamingo shot Law, your heart almost broke. Geez, you just met him, there’s no way you’re going to let him slip out of your fingers now.

❥ You join Luffy to rescue him.

 “The alliance is over!”

 “That doesn’t matter to me!”

❥ And oh, you are just so kind. He doesn't care if he’ll lose his life as long as he takes down Doflamingo. But, oh, you make him wanna live.

 “Grant me immortality and I’ll make sure you get whatever you wish.”

 “Yeah, I’ll give it…to Y/N-ya that is.”

❥ He smiles. He could imagine you getting upset if you had heard him say that.

❥ When the fight with Doflamingo is over, his whole reason for living till now. He promises Cora-san to live for you this time. He chuckles. Maybe you won’t like that either.

❥ You stay with him the whole time he’s recovering, despite being upset that he was ready to throw his life away.

❥ When you finally meet his crew at Zou, they couldn’t stop the bombardment of questions.

❥ “How’d you meet!?” “What the hell happened when we split up, Captain!?” “Did you kiss!?”

BETTER THAN MEAT

Sumarry: Luffy discovers that his favorite smell is no longer the smell of meat.

OPLA!Luffy X Reader

Warnings: I think none, I just hope it gives you butterflies in your stomach lol

A/N: You asked me for this so much and here it is, it's horrible, but it's a good start.

"Where's Y/n, Nami?" Luffy says while Nami is still looking at the clothes.

"She's over there changing, let's go Y/n!" Nami screams.

"I guess I didn't like that." Y/n says showing off and upon hearing his voice, Luffy turns his head to look.

He doesn't know exactly what he felt at that moment, but it was something very similar to a heart attack.

"What do you think Luffy?" Y/n says observing Luffy's serious expression.

"You are the most beautiful pirate I have ever seen in my entire life." Y/n blushes when she hears this and Zoro scoffs.

"That's very kind of you Luffy, thank you." Y/n says awkwardly.

"Seriously you... you would easily be mistaken for a princess or something." Luffy says getting up and going to Y/n.

Y/n smiles at Luffy who is right in front of her now, and suddenly he starts moving his nose sniffing.

"And what is that smell?" Luffy says trying to identify the smell.

"It must be from dinner Luffy."

"No no, it's something else." And then he does something that leaves everyone wide-eyed.

Luffy puts his nose on Y/n's neck, sniffing deeply, sending shivers all over Y/n's body.

"Luffy don't do that." She says laughing and pushing his shoulders awkwardly.

“Your smell better than meat Y/n!” Luffy says laughing and she feels her cheeks heat up.

"That really surprised me." Zoro says laughing a little.

"Y/n can I smell you more often?" Luffy asks smiling.

"I think you can?"

And it doesn't end here

Y/n is sitting next to Luffy during dinner, she is drinking when she suddenly feels something warm on her neck and turns red as a tomato when she sees Luffy's hair and realizes it was him sniffing her neck again, almost making her to drown.

"Luffy for the love of God don't do that." She says pushing him awkwardly again.

"You really smell good ." He says smiling, and she feels her heart soften.

Y/n doesn't know what to do or say so she just turns forward again, seeing this Luffy's smile disappears

"Oh you don't like that Y/n?" Luffy says loudly, unintentionally drawing the attention of the entire table.

"No, don't worry Luffy, it's okay." She smiles and puts her hand on his shoulder.

But no, it wasn't okay, Luffy thought about Y/n's reaction during dinner, during his speech and everything.

What he least wanted was to hurt or offend Y/n, she was too special to him, it made him so anxious that he simply couldn't wait until the next day to talk to Y/n, so here he is facing the bedroom door her.

Before he can knock on the door, Y/n opens it and is surprised to see Luffy there.

"Oh hi Luffy, everything okay?"

"I'd like to apologize if I made you uncomfortable hi something like that it wasn't my intention." Y/n thinks she fell in love with Luffy even more after hearing him say that.

"Oh no Lu, it's okay, I… I liked that." Y/n says embarrassed as she admits this and he smiles at that.

"That's great, because I like doing this too." He says and moves closer to smell Y/n again, but this time, she tilts her head to give him better access.

But when he is moving away from her, he stops in the middle of the way with their noses almost touching, and then Luffy gives Y/n a quick peck on the lips, quickly moving her face away and smiling.

"Damn why did you do that? It must have made her uncomfortable again" He is torturing himself with his thoughts when Y/n speaks again.

"Do you want to go find the kitchen?" Y/n says and his smile widens.

"Yes, let's go!" Luffy grabs Y/n's wrist and pulls her along with him.

He's happy that his favorite person in the world isn't mad at him, and she's happy that her favorite pirate cares about her so much.

Warnings: This has a little bit of Smut, a little bit of angst and a little bit of fluff lol

Koby doesn't know exactly how he ended up in this situation, he just knows he can't leave. He doesn't even know where his shirt is, she took it off him body a long time ago, the only thing he knows is that he loves having Y/n straddling his waist like that.

"This is wrong." He says pulling away from the kiss.

"And what would you do if it wasn't wrong?" Y/n says, bending down and placing a kiss on his neck.

"If it wasn't wrong... I would touch you like that." He says, putting his hands inside her blouse looking into Y/n's eyes before putting his hands inside her bra, making her moan with her eyes closed and him sigh when he feels her nipples

You can, baby you can." Y/n says holding Koby's hands on her breasts making him squeeze lightly.

"But-" Before he can respond, Y/n kisses him again, a slow and sensual kiss, she pecks his lower lip with her teeth, making him moan softly.

They separate a little and his hands return to her thighs.

"You know I can't stay, I-" He stops talking when she starts to take off her shirt, so she's left in just her bra, still straddling his waist.

"What were you saying, love?" She asks with a mischievous smile, and he swallows hard.

"I- He stops again watching her take off her bra slowly, and while looking into his eyes.

"You don't need to hold back my love." She says throwing the bra aside.

Koby looks at her breasts and feels her breathing quicken

When noticing this, Y/n takes both of Koby's hands, and places them on her breasts, making him squirm beneath her.

"You're really stressed lately, let me make you relax." Y/n says kissing his bare chest until she reaches his mouth again, kissing his mouth intensely.

Wait Y/n-" He says in the middle of the kiss making her pull away a little.

"You don't want this?" Y/n says tilting her head.

"No, I just... you're a pirate and-" And once again, Koby stops talking when he sees Y/n getting off of him and going to get his shirt.

"Wait Y/n please listen to me." He says sitting down, seeing her sitting on the bed next to him and adjusting the shirt on her body.

"I already understand Koby, you're disgusted by me, aren't you? Because I'm a pirate you think I'm dirty or something? Look, I'm not going to steal from you or anything, I just really liked you-" This time she is interrupted with Koby's lips on hers

He lays her on the bed during the kiss, this time being on top.

They pull away after a while and Koby gives her a little kiss on the cheek.

"Don't be silly, I would never think something like that about you." He says with a fond smile, stroking her cheek with his thumb.

"You have no idea how much my heart beats for you." He says caressing her belly under her shirt.

"But we can't be together, can we?" He stops and looks into her eyes, wondering if it was hurting her as much as it was hurting him.

"No, my love."

She closes her eyes and lets the tears fall.

"Please don't cry." He says feeling his eyes burn.

He lays his face on her chest, and they both just cry for a while.

"Cmon now, I wanna show you my ship!" Luffy smiled as he held your hand, running towards the dock where the going merry happened to be. He skipped up the ramp as you looked in awe at the ship.

Luffy leaned onto the railings, smiling at the girl who stood on shock. "This is your ship? This is yours?" You asked the boy who nodded. He seemed proud of himself, you knew he had a ship but never expected a huge ship with an actual flag.

"C'mon, I'll show you my room, our room." Luffy smiled at the girl who scrunched her face in confusion. Luffy jumped down, holding your hand as he stared into your eyes. "Y/n, I want you to join my crew, we need someone like you, you know what you're doing, your perfect, your kind and smart."

"I left that life behind." You sighed as he looked away, you could tell her was upset. You hated being apart, he hated it more. Luffy was always an affectionate person, being away from his loved one hurt more then anyone could ever imagine. "I suppose you do need help to find the one piece."

Luffys face brightened up as he looked at you, smiling before carrying you up to the ship. You giggled as he set you down in the Captains quarters. The place was surrounded in pictures and souvenirs from adventures they had gone through. A desk filled with books and paper, probably stories written by him. You turned to the bed that seemed big enough for two people.

"You planned this, didn't you?" You turned to the boy who smiled, raising his eyebrows. You laughed before setting down on the bed. "I'll go get lunch ready?"

"No need, Sanji 'll do it." He smirked as he placed his hands on your waist, you smiled as you looked back at the boy, he traced your scar on your left cheek with his fingertips in such a loving way. "Now, let me show you how much I missed you my love."

"I think you look gorgeous." Luffy shrugged as your stiff shoulders softened. You smiled as Luffy stood up, kissing your cheek. The blood rushing through your ears as you blushed at the sudden movement.

— Luffy sighed as he watched you light the cigarette as you sat beside him on the figurehead. He turned back to the ocean, you always favored the cigarette over him. You love it more then him, it was slowly killing you, killing him. He couldn't live without you, you weren't only harming yourself but everyone else.

He turned to you, sadness evading ever look on his face as you turned to him, you exhaled the air that was slowly polluting you as you lowered the cigarette, your smile evading. "Just spit it out now." You whispered as he took off his hat, figetting with it.

"It's hurting you, I don't like it when you get hurt." He started. You scoffed before placing the cigarette back into your mouth, you had this conversation everyday. You knew it was hurting Luffy but they were the only thing, beside him, keeping you alive. You wanted to stop, you did, you went to bed everyday deciding to quit, only to buy another box the next morning.

"I know Lu." You muttered as he sighed, looking down at his fingers. "I'll-."

"Stop?" He asked, interrupting you as you stayed quiet. "You always say that, you're killing yourself and you know it." He cried, tears falling down on to his hat. You felt guilty, the guilt made you want to take another hit, and you did, and he cried more. "You're taking another one now! Seriously!" He stood up, looking down at you as he sighed. "I can't anymore Y/N, you have to make a choice."

"You can't expect me to choose right now Luffy." You whispered as he frowned. His eyebrows knitted together in thought before crying once more.

"That is a choice." He scoffed as he slid off, walking towards his cabin as Nami and Zoro watched from on top, Zoro had climbed down, knocking onto Luffy's door as Nami walked towards you.

"He's right you know. " She says, sitting beside you as you sighed. She placed her hand on yours, taking the cigarette before putting it out and throwing it away.

"I wanna stop, seriously." You cried, you turned around as you heard Luffy's wails and yelling, the sudden urge to ignore Nami and light another one up surfaced once more.

"I know, but you have to try harder." Nami sighed as she placed her head onto your shoulder. "Luffy's scared, that your gonna end up dead from them, he wants to spend the rest if his life with you."

"I'm gonna go tall to him." You muttered as you slid off, walking towards his door as you knocked, opening the door to Find Zoro and Luffy talking. Zoro stood with his arms crossed as Luffy's face was red, he crossed his legs on the bed as he had his hat in his hands. You signaled for Zoro to leave you two alone as he turned to Luffy who nodded his head.

As he left the room you took a sigh, looking at the boy who seemed cold towards you. "Go on." He spat, pain evolved in your chest as you sat beside the boy, placing your hand on his hand only for him to turn around.

"I'm sorry, I want to stop, I really fucking do, I'm sorry." You whispered as he scoffed. "I know you don't believe me but I will, promise."

He finally turned around, scanning your face for any sort of signs to show that you weren't exactly truthful, but all he saw was remorse, he let out a soft smile as she held your hand. You fished for your cigarette box, sighing before handing it to him as he smiled.

He placed them in his as he looked into your eyes, pushing your hair behind your ear as he leaned in, placing a soft kiss to your lips before gaging as he recieved a taste of cigarette ash.

You let out a low laugh as he spat on the floor, turning back to you and pushing you onto the bed he hugged your waist, pulling you close to him. "I love you baby."

— You woke up to Luffy, snuggling you close after the exciting night you had, you stirred to the side, picking up Luffy's shirt that was lazily discarded onto the germ infested floors, grabbing your shorts from the other side as you took your bandana. You tied your hair before walking out to the kitchen.

It was a habit of yours to cook breakfast every morning, a routine you were not to break so easily. It kept you alert and in the repetition of the mornings, it gave you comfort. Waking up everyday to do the thing you enjoyed. You hummed to the song playing on the radio as you walked into the kitchen to find a black-eyed Sanji. You giggled causing him to turn around.

"Why hello there, I must say, its nice having company this early in the morning." Sanji smiled as he prepped the ingredients, flour, eggs, sugar, butter. He's making pancakes.

"Pancakes huh?" You smiled at the boy who laughed. You walked towards the island, grabbing a bowl as you cracked the eggs into them, beating them as you added the other ingredients.

"A cooker huh, guess Luffy was right." Sanji nodded as he stared at your methods, it wasn't at a beginners level, in fact, rather professional, he smiled as he found a new partner in crime, someone to assist in his duties. It was comforting knowing he didn't have to wake up everyday at 5 AM alone to cook for his crew.

"Yeah, I used to help cook for my dad's crew." You answered as he smiled, dealing with the dry ingredients. The two of you spent the next two hours, sharing stories and laughs as you occasionally threw flour at him as you baked the goods. As he looked away, you added your secret, ingredients to the batch. Cocoa powder and maple syrup, it always took the pancakes to another level. You turned to the clock, it was 8 AM. "Oh shit, I gotta go get my stuff!"

"I'll save some for you!" Sanji yelled as you smiled at him as you walked down the ramp in Luffy's shirt. You could see some of the dirty looks a few new villagers gave you. A devil fruit eater, what a waste. That's what they all thought, but Luffy was different and you knew it.

You walked into your house, walking into your bedroom as you collected your belongings in two travel bags. One for your outfits and another for your special belongings and gifts from Luffy you hold onto. You grabbed a photo of you and Luffy as children with your father in the back. I miss you dad. For a while, you regretted not joining him on his last voyage, but also felt some sort of relief. It was always dangerous, you were 8 and knew how to wield a sword like the great Mihawk.

It wasn't the life you'd expect as a child, it never was with your father, you smiled at the picture, placing it carefully into the bag before closing it. It was time, you were going back to your old life.

Just this time with new people.

— Luffy yawned as he turned around to find the other side of the bed cold. She must have gone to get her stuff. He sighed as he walked to find the shirt he had worn yesterday, only to find it gone. He smiled before walking to his drawer, he always let an empty drawer in hopes of this day, he grabbed his flower shirt as he walked to the kitchen where both Nami and Ussop stood. Zoro soon emerged after Luffy staring at the pancakes that were made.

"I had a little help from a new friend." Sanji smiled as Luffy smile grew wider, he quickly sat down, taking a few from to his plate as he took a bite, the familiarity exploring his mouth. Her secret recipe.

"Whoa, what did you add?" Nami asked the boy who seemed confused. "I guess she added it didn't she."

"It's Y/N's secret recipe, I recognise the taste." Luffy nodded as Nami and Ussop looked at eachother. "I told you, she was a better cook than Sanji."

"I actually believe that now." Sanji smiled as you walked in, your bags left on the floor as Luffy stood up, he placed a kiss on youe cheek before smiling at you. He carried your bag as you sat down, taking one of your pancakes.

"I'm sorry I changed your recipe." You apologized to the boy who shook his head, he smiled at you as he took another bite, the flavourful pancake made him explode, he was sl curious. "I could teach it to you."

"That'll ruin the surprise." Sanji winked as you as you rolled your eyes, Luffy joined you as he sat down beside you, a smile evading his face as he kissed your cheek, placing his arm around you as he fed you your meal.

"I'm gonna go practice." Zoro announced as he stood up, grabbing his swords as he walked out, only to be stopped by Luffy.

"Well, Y/n could help you out!" Luffy smiled as you shrugged. He looked you up and down before nodding. You stood up, grabbing your sword as you walked with him towards the deck.

You noticed the crew watching the two of you to see if Luffys tales were a reality. You sighed as you got into position, closing your eyes. You often found yourself using sound to your advantage. You heard Zoros scoff as he yielded his sword, waiting for you to attack.

You ducked down, going behind him before kicking him, successfully taking him aback as you attacked, he raised his sword, it colliding with yours before you back flipped and slid across, kicking his legs down as you continue to collid swords.

He stood up, sliding to the other side as he tried to attack you with the back of his sword, only for you to touch the blade with your hand before kicking him in the stomach. Luffy quickly jumped down, examining the small cut on your hand.

"Shit, you okay?" Zoro asked you as you nodded.

"I held the blade, it's my fault anyways, you're not to bad tho." You smiled at the boy who nodded. Winking at you as in a 'your not bad yourself' manner before walking off to get the medkit as Luffy held onto the small cut.

"That was stupid." Luffy scolded you as you rolled your eyes, bandaging the wound before walking to the figure head with Luffy, placing your head on his as you stared at the ocean. "I'm happy you're here."

"I'm happy I'm here too."
