So today I watched the 8th ep of marry my husband and i realised that jihyuk has probably lost all respect for sumin and minhwan as people, after hearing what jiwon had to say, but he doesn't show it . He's still so professional and dignified and... people, that's a good leader right there.
Jeong Sumin is that one toxic bestie we've all had. She hates all your friends, because she thinks that means that you don't want her anymore. She will manipulate you, leave you in the lurch, and cover it up with sweet words and crocodile tears.
Sumin thought Jiwon was weak and couldn't make friends aside from her. So she used this to her advantage.
I can personally attest to having people like that in my life. And I can also say that I left them, to find a whole new group of friends who made me feel comfortable in my own skin.
So to anyone who's got this sort of person in their life, please remember, the trash will take itself out. Please branch out, increase your social circle and they will remove themselves automatically.

Jihyuk and jiwon's relationship is the total opposite of sumin and minhwan's.
While the former two are incredibly wholesome and open, with a relationship based on trust, Sumin and Minhwan's relationship is stewing in toxicity, built on a thin web of lies.
Jihyuk won't look at another girl the way he looks at jiwon, Minhwan was staring at Jiwon at the altar.
Jiwon and Jihyuk go out of their way to love and help each other.
Minhwan ruins the brakes on his own car to ensure his wife's death. (that blows up, quite literally, in his face later btw)
