📍Boo Memorial Park in Carbondale, Illinois

A true underrated gem of the midwest. This park is free to enter (though I’d encourage donating!) and was built to memorialize Jeremy “Boo” Rochman who tragically passed in 1993.

Boo was a massive fan of Dungeons & Dragons, and the park was a way to memorialize him, his love of the game, and imagination.

I’d encourage anyone passing through southern Illinois to visit!

Jewels of Truth Statement: "Memorial for Robin Williams the Wise Fool"

Hello All, I seldom write memorials utilizing my gift of psychic automatic writing unless it was a celebrity I held in very high esteem. So far I haven't been asked to write one for anyone I know personally. The first celebrity I started this trend was last year with Michael Jackson "The King of Neverland" on April 29th 2013 (Link) Now I continue once more with another very bright soul I loved deeply from a far as a spiritual brother. As many in the world we adored his brand of comedy although seldom knew the depth of his internal suffering. Now that he has been immortalized into our minds and hearts he would probably enjoy if we made a joke on his passing. But alas that isn't my gift, however what follows below is indeed my gift to him and all of us. Written originally at the end of August this year. Do enjoy in solemn peace. ---------------------------------------

1794) Mr. Robin Williams ended his life in a misguided attempt to find a peace which he needed more than sanity. For he found sanity to be lukewarm as a frail effort to fit in with society. So he clowned his way to stardom seeking to bring a native joy in his heart to the world at large. His success was completely renowned although sometimes the initial peace he sought eluded his soul. The greater the victory professionally the louder the laughter and the praise for his comedic genius. Perhaps his greatest love was for his children. They were his remarkable joy come alive through his smile. He often may have lamented his poor choices in how to bury his suffering. Yet he was forever seeking to create laughter in each of us. Whether to hide his pain or to find redemption in our shared mirth with him. We as his fans no matter how far apart we may be. Loved him dearly now and always for having his brand of comedy in our lives. Causing us to remember the joy it inflicted onto our combined funny bone. His many persona's were all tied to his eternal kindness. Many were fortunate to experience through his endeavors as a humanitarian and an artist laughing at large. We are the better for his joy and we shall always have a smile with a childish wink to the perpetual clown of a giant heart. May our love heal you with the peace you have found in God's embrace oh Wise Fool. Amen.  ---Ivan Pozo-Illas / Atrayo.

Jewels of Truth Statement: "In Beloved Memory of Dr. Wayne W. Dyer"

Hello All, I believe it was on Saturday August 29th that the world renowned self-help spiritual guru "Dr. Wayne Dyer" passed away in his sleep. I first started to follow his work in the late 1980's where I was exposed to his audio's over at "Nightingale Conant Corporation". Listening to him and also the late "Dr. Leo Buscaglia" inspired me a great deal during that time in my life. As I have written in the past here at "Atrayo's Oracle" a couple Memorials as a tribute to those I have adored for their artistry and in "Dr. Dyers" case his spiritual teachings. "Wayne Dyer", in many ways reminded me of the late "Joseph Campbell" as an educator of global mythology, that peered into the soul of the human condition. And, so it is with a sad heart to see another giant light transcend this world for the next one only a veil away. As I have written memorials for the late "Robin Williams" from just last year and of "Michael Jackson" the King of Pop back in 2013. I also provide this as a service to anyone that may find need of a written page or so of a memorial for a loved one. Just follow this link at my website: "JewelsofTruth.us" written using clairvoyant automatic writing. May you find it pleasing my memorial for "Dr. Wayne Dyer" below as #2054 in the "Jewels of Truth" series. ============================

Memorial: 2054) Many a beautiful soul is called to serve humanity from deep within the very fiber of one's eternal being. Only the most dedicated follow through on such an internal calling not fully comprehending the good that will be unveiled in a lifetime. Those with the courage and the audacity can truly make a difference in our shared world. "Dr. Wayne W. Dyer", is such a soul having embarked upon a spiritual odyssey without intending to at least initially. Wayne was orphaned much like his siblings at an young age due to the economic hardships his mother struggled in maintaining a household in Detroit, Michigan. Those early difficult lessons didn't escape the young boy Dyer that keeping a family together was vital. In the decade to follow his mother eventually triumphed and restored her custody with all of her children. Soon to follow was the Great 2nd World War where Wayne served proudly the United States Navy in the pacific rim. After the war it was time for him to find his role in civil society and so with the G.I. Bill he pursued an education in psychology. As a psychologist and the years to follow he married and grew his precious family having 8 children in all. These would become his greatest treasure and most enduring adoration in the world. Little did he know that Wayne's life was only just beginning through a rebirth of his spirit within. A difficult bout with alcoholism shook this man to his core self. With additional emotional pain of growing up in a fatherless household as a child. As Wayne made amends he began to find a remarkable beauty he may not have expected during common hours awakening deep within him. The divine one God reached into his life by lighting a sacred flame in his heart in the years to follow. As Wayne made peace with himself and his family origins. His literary voice began to shape the minds of many to follow his writing career in his philosophy of positive thinking. Following his gift he left a professorship with tenure and went cross country promoting the now famous book in 1976 of "Your Erroneous Zones". Post such a text his writing took on a renewed fervor with the first tinges of spirituality to shine forth. Evolving past the psychological into the personal development side of spirituality. The generations of readers to follow praised his efforts for each of his books and audio's in finding a global audience. As his spiritual understanding increased it gave way eventually into the mystical in the decades to follow. His sublime inner beauty became all that much apparent outside his loving family life. Our society is indebted to such a holy way shower of how to be divine ourselves in the world. To everyone their own passion in life following the greatest good in how we care for each other and the world at large. Thank you "Dr. Wayne Dyer" for having graced us with the divine truth of the ages. We are collectively grateful to having witnessed your beauty upon the world.                                                              Good Journey Our Beloved Guru.

Exactly one week after George Floyd’s death, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner declared it a homicide. Floyd’s memorial at Chicago and 38th pulsed with music and life, free produce, free diapers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and good barbecue. For a city that had been through so much, there was no more restorative place.

As night fell and Minneapolis’ 10 p.m. curfew set in, protesters sat in a tight circle in the center of the intersection, waiting to see if police would invade and arrest peaceful curfew breakers as they did two nights prior. They never came.

Wednesday, September 13, 2017: Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, Hamilton, Ontario - Back in the winter I went to a motorcycle show up in Mississauga. There was a booth there collecting donations and selling merchandise to raise money for a LAV to be placed as an Afghanistan memorial up at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton. I just found out they got it! Swung over for some photos, what a machine. My thanks to all the Canadian Armed Forces members who serve, at home or abroad, you do us proud. Also photographed are memorial stones for Hamilton service members KIA. We will never forget.

Harry as drummer. My dad died last Monday on 1/22/2017. Among many things, he was a jazz drummer. He played in dance bands in New Jersey in the late 40’s. He taught me about jazz when he would play-along with big band music. I was in elementary school and I hung out with him in the living room where he has his drums set up. He listened to Louie Belson, Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. I asked him who he played with and he told me he didn’t remember because he was stoned most of the time. Jazz became my lifelong hobby which Pop had always encouraged. Except when I wanted to become a professional musician, which he thought was a bad idea maybe because most of the muscians he knew where drug-addicts. I still love to listen to jazz drummers...a passion I got from my dad.
