reo is a punctual man—he sticks to a schedule and considers his time valuable. so when he isn’t home on time after practice on the night that you’re hosting your family for dinner, you’re struck with worry. twenty minutes behind isn’t something you’d usually bat your eyes at but you will admit that it’s strange not getting a text or call explaining his absence on the occasion he’s been fretting about all week.
with dinner started on the stove, you wipe your hands on a dish towel before reaching for your phone to figure out what’s keeping reo from home. though, before you can find his contact, the photo you have saved with his name flashes on your screen as the device buzzes with an incoming call from him.
you press the green accept button, wasting no time starting your distressed interrogation. “where are you?”
there’s a laugh from his end of the line and you can hear the faraway honking of horns. his explanation comes easily, as though you should have expected it. “i swung by the florist to pick up a bouquet for your mom.”
reo’s answer doesn’t come as a surprise. in addition to being punctual, reo is chivalrous, too. ever since you told him that your family would be visiting for the holidays, he’s made it his personal mission to make sure that everything is in order—that he’d be leaving a good impression on the ones you love.
if the preparation he’s taken so far is evidence of anything, it’s that he truly has nothing to worry about. maybe you’re a little bit biased, but how could anyone not like reo?
“you know, typically guests bring gifts for the hosts—not the other way around.” the urgency has faded from your voice upon learning the reason behind his not being here, traded in for a more relaxed tone, one with a playful edge.
“no way,” he starts, and you can practically hear the frown in his voice, “it’s their first time at our place and meeting me. i’ve gotta do this right.”
between his actions and his words, it’s clear that reo is taking the one opportunity he has with this first meeting seriously. it’s flattering to see that he cares so much, that he wants those closest to you to like him even a fraction of the way you do. your heart feels like it’s floating in your chest knowing that reo is doing all of this for your sake.
“understood.” you smile with your declaration. “anyways, did you call for something?”
“right, did you need me to pick anything up while i’m out?”
“nope,” you shake your head even though he can’t see you, “just get home safe.”
“sure thing, love you.”
it isn’t long before you hear reo’s key unlocking your front door and his house slippers shuffling down the hallway and into the kitchen. a purple head of hair greets you in the doorway accompanied by pops of red and white from the flower bouquet he’s holding. his violet eyes light up when you turn to meet his gaze and welcome him home.
“hey.” you offer him a wave from the stove before your eyes fall to the flower arrangement in his grasp. “those are pretty.”
he examines them closely, like you’re sure he did while the florist was putting the bouquet together and after he received the flowers. “you think she’ll like them?”
you hum and nod, a smile tugging at your lips upon seeing the relief that colors his face with your approval. he sets the paper-wrapped bouquet on an unoccupied space of the kitchen island before rubbing his hands together and looking to you for direction.
“what can i do?”
there’s an unspoken rule that reo doesn’t cook on special occasions. he can admit that it’s a skill he has yet to master and that the meals of guests are better left out of his hands. with this in mind, you jerk your head toward the cabinets that hold your plates and silverware. “wanna set the table?”
“i can do that,” he agrees.
while you finish up dinner, reo goes between the kitchen and dining room, neatly arranging the dishes on the festive tablecloth you had set out earlier. he kisses you with each trip he makes, first on your forehead, then your nose, and when he’s back in the kitchen for good, he plants one of your lips. the taste of familiar, minty like the gum he chews with a hint of cucumber from his chapstick.
you’re starting to get the feeling that his nerves are calming, that the perfectionist in him is mellowing, but his next question is proof that he’s still a little anxious about the events to come. “do your parents prefer red or white wine?”
you shrug. it’s been a while since you’ve had a meal with them and even then you can’t say that you paid much attention to what they were drinking. “i’m sure they’ll enjoy either.”
he opens his mouth to protest but you shush him by pressing a finger to his lips.
“reo, relax.” you hook your arms under his to rub soothing circles on his shoulder blades. he takes your advice, taking a deep breath in through his nose and letting it leave through his mouth. your lips pull up into a grin as you feel his muscles ease, the tension seeping from his body. “they’re going to love you.”
he nods, a small smile of his own appearing with your reassurance.
only a moment later, the ring of your doorbell sounds throughout the house. you meet reo’s gaze with an encouraging sparkle in your eyes. “it’s go time.”
TALKING TO MY GHOST AT NIGHT reo
theres a ghost in the blue lock facility, reo and bachira are sure of it. they also aren't the most reliable sources out there but it was funny, nagi can humor them for a little longer if it means reo will finally get a partner and set him free ( wc : 2.1k+ )

“Yo! Yo! Sei-shi-ro!” Bachira called out, once again with glittering stars in his eyes as Reo’s face pales every passing second. “You will never guess what Reo and I found!”
“Nagi, there’s a ghost,” Bachira’s accomplice muttered. “We saw them when we went to eat dinner.”
“You guys are delusional,” the white-haired boy sweatdropped, were they getting enough sleep? Probably not. Ego was absolutely insane and for the first few days Nagi was in the Blue Lock facility, he swore he was losing his five senses ( he was better when he got his phone back but that’s not important ^ _ – ). “Are you guys sure it wasn’t a janitor or cook?”
“We swear!” The dumbass duo retaliated, each one taking hold of one of Nagi’s arms. “They looked like they were our age and they even had the same really ugly dark circles and eyebags as you! There’s no other explanation.”
Nagi was too tired for this shit he just wanted to lie in bed and play mobile games like an elementary school kid. “Well, leave me out of this you guys can get haunted for all I care.”
“What the fuck, Nagi?! Even after all we’ve been through? I’m like the second coming of Jesus to you! I introduced you to the art of playing with balls!” Maybe he could have worded that better but Reo was too deep in the blistering sorrow of betrayal to care about his relationship with the Japanese language.
“Yeah! Listen to Reo! You’re one of us and plus, you and the ghost look equally exhausted so that means you should be the one to talk to them!” Bachira innocently giggled as if he didn’t just set Nagi up for a demonic ritual or whatever the fuck they were planning.
“Can we at least wait until tomorrow?” Nagi whined, his eyelids felt heavy and there was too much stupidity in the room for his brain to handle in a day. His brain was swelling and any more that came out of Bachira or Reo’s mouth would cause it to explode and somehow, his batshit insane rivals teammates will find a way to bring him back to life ( maybe even with the ghost ) and beat the shit out of him for abandoning them ( Reo ).

It was getting late and most of the Egoists had gone to their rooms to do whatever was on their schedule next. The reasonable ones went to rest, the weird ones went to train, and then there was the demon named Rin Itoshi who went to follow his yoga routine. Ew, that name sent shivers down Nagi’s spine. He wants to see that guy trip and fall on his ass sometime, that’d be pretty funny, he thinks. It would be even better if his brother did the same. But for Nagi, instead of playing his first-person shooters like how he would like to, the boy was being shushed by Meguru Bachira who was accompanied by an oddly serious looking Reo Mikage.
“Ghost… ghost…” Reo began making different “oOOOoO” noises to mimic ghost sounds from a badly produced Halloween movie. “We come in peace. We don’t plan to hurt you.”
“Yeah! We’re totally cool, you should hang out with us! Look! We even have some random dude who’s like the same breed of human as you! Er… as you were.”
“Bachira I didn’t agree on being a human sacrifice,” Nagi tried saying, but was quickly cut off.
“Shhh! You’re gonna scare it away! No one cares~!”
“Are you mentally well?”
Bachira and Reo let out loud ear-shattering screams, each going straight into Nagi’s head and giving him the most painful migraine he’s ever experienced, so painful that he almost did not realize it was an unfamiliar voice talking to Bachira instead of one of their own. Looking up at whoever it was, it happened to be another teenager who looked relatively normal with no seemingly ghostly features at all.
“Aren’t you guys soccer players? What the fuck are you doing out here ghost hunting?”
“Wait so you aren’t a ghost?” Bachira tilted his head and asked, his eyes blank in confusion while Reo looked like he was short-circuiting.
“No…?” You replied, pinching your skin. “I’m like ninety-nine percent sure I’m alive and well. You guys are hallucinating or something if you think I’m a ghost.”
“T-then why are you here?!” Reo pointed at you and demanded, suddenly thinking you were some intruder or hitman that was hired by one of his family’s rival companies, out to kill him while he happens to be away from home.
“‘Cause I’m that freak Jinpachi’s cousin. I need volunteer hours to graduate so I came here and honestly, I regret it. Nepotism sucks—well, at least this kind. I should’ve been born as some major actor’s kid.”
“Woah! So you aren’t here to kill me, that’s great!” Reo beamed, suddenly very giddy that a cute intern the same age as him would not be an absolute danger to his well-being. It had been years since he felt this electricity in his chest, the last time being when he met Nagi, who had been stuck with him ever since that day on. The purple-haired boy was unsure of whether the pleasure he felt from meeting you was due to a new challenge, or the fact he was genuinely interested in you. After all, he thought you were a ghost the first time he saw you.
“What—huh?! Why would I kill you? What kind of unresolved trauma do you have? Was this Jinpachi’s fault? That man is fucked in the head but he has money so don’t tell anyone about it until he dies and I get all his inheritance, ‘kay?”
Nagi did not know if you morbid words went one of Reo’s ears and out the other or if Reo was weirdly into whatever fantasies you had. Rich people. Bachira, though, was giggling like a devious troll, making squelching kissy noises in Reo’s ear as you went on and on about your plan to save yourself from the world of middle-class living and kick your cousin out of the economic elites so that you could replace him, knowing damn well that Ego could hear you.
And, he did.
A large television screen mounted to the front wall of the Blue Lock Facility cafeteria turned on almost immediately after you stopped talking, displaying a far from happy Jinpachi Ego in all of his bowl-cut glory. The man’s permanent frown was even more of a frown than what Nagi thought was humanly possible, another ew in his book. Man, his coach was depressingly ugly.
Jinpachi Ego was a tired man whose tiredness plummeted into exhaustion every time he had to interact with his hellspawn of a cousin, you. “[name], cut it out and get to cleaning. You aren’t going to get any credits or paychecks if you continue standing there wasting all our time telling people your empty plans of ‘plotting my downfall’,” Ego spoke with his monotone voice, making faux quotes with his hands.
“Oh, shut up old man. You’re literally decaying compared to me. Get to bed, grandpa,” You restored, visibly pissed off but immediately switching your facial expression to a cheery one like a lightswitch as you bid goodbye to the three teenage boys before you and running off to “beat that bowl-cut’s ass”, as you put it.
“Dude, you look like you just met an angel and fell in love!” Bachira laughed in Reo’s face, doubling over and rolling on the floor.
“I think… that’s because I just did,” Reo mumbled, awe still on his face as he blankly stared at the television screen Ego was just on.

Once again, Nagi just wanted to go to bed but had his plans interrupted by a very desperate Reo Mikage.
“Come on! Nagi, you just don’t get it. They’re my soulmate, I’m sure of it!”
“Why can't you go alone? Why do you have to drag me into you trying to ask them out? Aren't I just gonna be in the way?”
“Nagi,” Reo whined, pathetically dragging out his name. “I need you there for moral support. I'll piss myself otherwise, you know that.”
“Yeah, and I’ll be sure to laugh at you too when they reject you.”
“I'm gonna punch you.”
“Whatever, just this once, you hear me?”
“Aye, aye, captain!” Reo saluted his closest friend, skipping to the cafeteria to find you. To be honest, he was unsure of whether or not you’d be there but considering the fact you’ve been cleaning the cafeteria at the same times for two days in a row, Reo thought he had a pretty good chance. But of course, luck wouldn't always be on the side of the rich and famous.
Nagi and Reo walked into the large, open room only to find the lights completely out, without a single sound echoing throughout the cold. An eerie feeling took over the previous excitement that Reo felt that evening, accompanying it with a chill down both of their spines.
“They aren't here, let's go back,” Nagi urged. He would never admit it to anyone's face, but the cafeteria was starting to give him the creeps. “Bring Bachira with you next time, he’d be over the moon to help you.”
“No! Wait! This place is creepy as fuck but we haven't even looked yet! Let me just turn on the lights—”
“See? You should be more like your friend here. Why are you in such a hurry to leave? I don't bite!” A voice popped out from right behind Nagi, causing him to physically jump into the air and trip over and onto his knees before violently whipping around, coming face to face with you manically cackling at his reaction. “Man, you're easy to scare!”
“Hi! You're er— [name], right? That's what Ego called you last night,” Reo greeted, “I'm Reo Mikage.”
“Yeah,” Nagi chimed in from on the floor. “He's Reo Mikage.” Reo really wished he followed through with punching Nagi in the face. “He's the heir of the Mikage Corp.”
“Mikage… Mikage… Mikage…” You muttered, trying to remember why that name sounded so oddly familiar to you. Is it the name of a restaurant you went to? No, he said ‘Corp’, that wouldn't make any sense.
“That means he's super rich by the way,” Nagi added one last time before ditching his awestruck friend in the otherwise empty cafeteria that he doubted anyone would go to anytime soon; it was almost nine in the evening.
“Oh my God, you're rich?” You gushed, suddenly very interested in what Reo had to say for himself—well, even more interested. It was like a dream for you; some really pretty dude coming in looking for you specifically, ignoring the part where he thought you were a ghost, of course. But having this same pretty boy turn out to be a super mega rich heir and also be super mega athletic? Jackpot. You won in life. It's God’s apology for making you be related to that bastard Jinpachi Ego. This is your main character moment and you will make sure that boy will be yours before any other trashy gold digger other than you picks him up and takes him away. “That's like, the hottest thing I’ve ever heard.”
“That's not the only thing you're after, right?” Reo cautiously asked. It slightly hurt knowing that you might not actually be interested in him, but only after his wallet instead. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened, but it would be the first time it's happened with someone he was genuinely interested in.
“No, no! Of course not! You're pretty funny and well uh, really cute so even if you were broke I’d shoot my shot.”
If you spoke any more, Reo thought that his cheeks would fucking burst from how hot they felt and he was more than sure his face was a burning crimson red. It was suddenly as hot as a midsummer's day with the sun shining right above his brushed, violet hair, causing his entire body to sweat. “Holy shit I could marry you right now.”
“Hell yeah, let's get married, Reo!” You exclaimed with the same ecstatic eagerness as the boy whose hands you were grabbing onto while jumping up and down.
“[name], get to cleaning. You are not getting married anytime soon.” Before you could start making up your vows on the spot, a shart voice cut through the moment with the click of a button as the television in the cafeteria turned on once again, displaying a displeased, disturbed, and beyond annoyed Jinpachi Ego who was most definitely not pissed off because he can't get himself a partner like how his cousin can.

“What's wrong?” You asked, trying not to seem annoyed at being called nearly 7 (yes, you were counting) times in the last 5 minutes.
Your boyfriend was sick, and being the caring partner you were, you felt obligated to care for him, yet you didn't mind. You just weren't expecting him to be so… clingy.
“Are you mad at me?” He asked quietly, gently reaching for your hand as you say down on the bed.
“No, not at all.” You assured him.
He looked at you sadly with his sick expression. “Are you sure? I feel bad…”
Gently, you ran your hand through his hair. “Don't feel bad, baby. I don't mind taking care of you.”
You kissed his forehead, causing a smile to grow in his lips. He giggled softly.
Just as you got up, you felt an arm go around your waist. “Stay…” Reo demanded softly.
“I just want to make you something to eat.” You replied, matching his soft tone.
“Then I want to come with you…”
You sighed, and sat back down. Your boyfriend is so needy when he's sick. You gently ran your hands through his hair, pressing a soft kiss on his forehead.
“How are you feeling?” You asked.
“Bad… but better now that you're here.” Reo replied, closing his eyes as your hand runs through his hair once more.
You smiled, and Reo spoke again. “Thank you for being here… I love you…”
You kissed his forehead once again. “You're welcome. I love you too.”
A few head strokes and forehead kisses later, Reo was asleep.
You gently sighed, and made your way through his large house to find the kitchen.
Once there, you somehow found everything you needed to make him something, so you did.
Thankfully, you don't have to worry about running into his parents, as they're both on a business trip. Sometimes you wonder if they think you're right for their son. Which almost makes you wish they were here to see the way you're caring for Reo.
Once you were finally ready to plate the food, you heard footsteps coming your way.
You turn your head to see Reo. (who's shocked, really?)
“Reo? What are you doing out of bed?”
“I didn't know where you went… so I wanted to look for you…”
“Well, I just finished making you some food. Eat it.” You set the plated food down on the table and ushered him to sit down.
He did, and began to eat. “Thank you, baby…” He said.
“You're welcome.”
“I love you,”
“I love you too, but you sound like a sickly Victorian child.”
He groaned, and you kissed the top of his head.

“Baby,” He called you, gently placing his hand on your cheek. “I'm bored.”
“Then what do you want to do?” You asked.
“I don't know.” He sighed, flopping down on the bed. He hummed. “Do you know how to slow dance?”
“Huh?”
“Slow dancing. Like what they do in movies?”
“Oh, that? I don't know how to do that, no.”
“Can I teach you?”
“If you want.”
Reo pulled you up off of the bed.
“Now, you put your hand here,” He took your hand and put it on his shoulder. “and then we hold hands here…” He put his one free hand on your waist. “And then this hand goes here.”
“Am I doing it right?” You asked nervously.
“You’re doing it perfectly, love.” He responded. “Now, do you know what steps to take?”
“…No.”
He chuckled. “Then I'll show you.”
Slowly, but surely, you were able to learn how to slow dance, with the help of Reo.
“Then, just like this?” You asked.
“Exactly like that!” He assured you. “You’re good at this, (name)!”
You looked so cute. He loved it. He loves teaching you these types of things, and you love being taught them because Reo gets so excited to be able to teach you these things.
Meguru Bachira: Painting together.
“Oh wow, babe! That looks really pretty!” Bachira told you, patting your back.
“Really? I don’t think it’s that good.”
“No, it is! It’s pretty! I’ll frame it and hang it up once it’s dry!” He said, kissing your cheek.
“Thank you, babe!” You thanked him happily, your heightened confidence allowing you to be more risky with your paint job.
“Hmm… What color should I use next, baby?” Bachira asked you.
“Um, I think yellow would look good there.” You replied.
“Ah, you’re right! Why didn’t I think of that?” As he painted the yellow on the canvas, you noticed some of the paint splattered onto his cheek. Of course, you both had paint on you, as you had been painting for a little while now.
“Meguru, you have paint on your face.”
“Huh?” He tried to rub the paint off of his face, but he ended up smearing more paint on his cheek.
“No, you just rubbed more on!” You giggled. You set your paintbrush down and took his hand. “Come on, let’s clean up.”
“Ah, you have paint on your face too, baby!” He announced, starting to giggle himself.
“What? No way!”
Once you made it to the bathroom, Bachira poked your cheek. “See? There’s paint. Right there!”
Then, you both took turns wiping the paint off of the other’s face for almost ten minutes.
Rin Itoshi: Needs your cuddles at the end of a rough day.
“Welcome home, Rin.” You greeted Rin in a kind voice as he walked through the door. You had been working on making dinner, and it smelled amazing.
Rin let out a loud sigh and wrapped his arms around your waist. “The food smells good.”
You continued to season the raw chicken in front of you, staying unfazed by the man clinging to your waist. “How was your day?”
“Better now that I’m home.”
“Well, we’ll have some time before I have to get the chicken out of the oven.” You said, placing the tray into the oven. You set the timer and let Rin lead you to the couch.
You sat down and Rin plopped his head on your shoulder. He sighed again.
“You alright, baby?” You asked him.
“I’m tired.” He pulled you closer. “I’m so tired.”
“Yeah, well, now you’re home and can relax.” You put a hand on his head.
“I missed you today,” He breathed.
“I missed you too.”
By the time the oven timer went off, Rin was asleep on your shoulder. Obviously you didn’t want to wake him up. But you also didn’t want to ruin the dinner you had worked hard to prepare for him.
“Rin,” You whispered. “I need to get up.”
He reluctantly moved, but you could see the tiredness on his face.
“You owe me now,” He called to you.

Does so much research on what it is and how to take care of you
Genuinely will skip practice or important work (or other stuff he does) to stay with you
If you have bad cramps, he's insisting you stay home and in bed and he'll dedicate himself to taking care of you
Weirdly good at discrete spot checking. If you think you bled through your pants, he's got you.
He's especially careful to not hurt you because he knows you can get upset easily, and he might laugh a little bit if you're crying over something miniscule
You came out of the bathroom, a sickly expression on your face.
“Is it that time of the month?” Reo asked nervously.
“Yeah, that would explain why I felt so sick yesterday.” You mumbled.
“Here, come here,” he said, allowing you to crash into his arms, “I'll take care of you, baby.”
“Huuuh…” You mumbled into his shoulder.
“You okay, baby? Need any ibuprofen?”
“Yeah, probably…”
“Okay.” He kissed your head. “I'll go get some. I can also get your heating pad if you want it?”
“Yeah, thanks…”
“‘Course! I told you I would take care of you, babe. Now, go lay down. I'll be back in a sec.” He kissed your head.

Last week, you had been taking care of Reo because he was sick. Now, it's the other way around.

A few minutes later, you were out like a light, so Reo used this as an opportunity to go to the kitchen.
Your house was much smaller than his, so navigating his way to the kitchen was much easier, and so was finding everything he needed.
Picking up the plate, he began walking back towards your bedroom, only to be met by a dazed face, belonging to you, once he turned the corner.
“Woah, what're you doing out of bed, baby?”
“I–I didn't know where you went…”
“Awh.” He put an arm around your waist, holding the plate in his other hand. “Come on, sweetheart, let's get you back in bed.”
He set the plate down on your side table and tucked you in, kissing your head. “Want me to spoon-feed you?”
Your face flushed with embarrassment. “N–no, I can feed myself…”
He chuckled, putting some pillows behind you to help prop you up. “Right, right, sorry.” He handed you the plate. “Here you go. Want a fork?”

Once you finished it, Reo took the plate back to the kitchen and cleaned it.
Once he got back to your room, he found you sleeping in what seemed to be a very uncomfortable position.
“Awh, babe…” He whispered, taking the pillows out and helping your sleeping body into a more comfortable position.
He kissed your forehead. “Y’know, you're like a sickly Victorian child too. I love you.”
He spoke, but he knew you couldn't hear him. Although he swore he heard a little giggle after he said that.

You've been trying to come up with what to do for weeks now, simply because he's so rich, you couldn't think of what to get him.
Slowly waking up, Reo immediately noticed the lack of your warmth beside him, as you had already gotten up. Sleepily, he got out of bed to find you, just as you were walking back into the bedroom.
“Ah. Good morning, gorgeous.” He wrapped his arms around you.
“Good morning, love.” You replied, hugging him back.
“What's the plan for today?” He asked.
“That's for you to find out,” you smiled, “now go get ready. I have a lot of things I want to do today.”
“‘Kay.” He kissed your cheek, heading to the bathroom.
A few minutes later, he finished quickly.
“You ready?” You asked, walking over to him.
“Yeah.” He said, wrapping an arm around your waist.
You took his hand and led him out the door.
“Now will you tell me what the plan is?” He asked.
“Nope! You just have to wait and see.”
He sighed, and then smiled. “Oh, I see how it is.” He smirked.
“Well, here's one of the first places I thought we could go.” You pointed to an amusement park.
“Woah.”
“Come on!” You pulled his hand. “Let's go!”
After a little while of running around, you decided to play some of the games there.
“Hey, you think I can win a fish?” You asked, pointing to a fish bowl toss game.
“I bet you could,” he said, admiration deep in his tone, “my (name) can do anything.”
Your face reddened, but you shrugged it off with a scoff and an eye roll. “You bet I can.”
After multiple tries, you still couldn’t make it. “Ugh…”
Reo laughed. “Let me try.”
His first fucking try, he won a fish.
“Oh my god.”
“Did you want this?” He asked sarcastically, offering you the fish.
“Shut up.” You grumbled.
Somehow, along the way, Reo had lost the fish by giving it away to a kid that was struggling more than you were.
“Why are you so good at everything, Reo?”
He laughed. “I don’t know. Natural talent, I guess.”
You rolled your eyes. “Uh-huh.” “Are you really getting salty over that?”
“Nope. Nuh-uh. Not at all. No way. Couldn’t be me.” You said sarcastically.
“Okay, well, I know how to cheer you up!” He said, grabbing your hand. “Let’s go check out some of the rides!”
You somehow managed to go on every single ride the park had to offer, within four hours. You had to admit, it was mostly the way Reo paid your way to the front of the line, with fast passes and other things. Finally, it was time for the final rollercoaster, the one that was said to be the most extreme.
“Ah…” You looked up at the tracks.
“What, you getting cold feet now? When we're right here?”
“N–no! Okay, yeah. So what?”
Reo laughed. “Okay, come on, let's get in line.”
He took your hand, his grip gentle as he felt your hand shaking. “Are you really that scared?”
“A little.”
“Don't worry, it'll be fine!” He smiled. “Besides, maybe you'll be like those people in the viral videos who faint on rides!” He said, pointing a finger.
“Not helping.”
He laughed again. “Sorry.”
Moments later, you were strapped into your cart.
“I'm so scared!” You finally confessed.
“Want me to hold your hand?” He asked, offering you his hand.
You nodded and put your hand into his.
The coaster slowly started making its incline.
“Oh, come on! Can't we just get this over with so I can stop shaking?!” You cried.
Just as it reached the top, you breathed in, preparing for the fall.
Then, the cart plunged, and all you could hear was the sounds of people screaming and the wind hitting your ears. Quickly, you realized, this wasn't as scary as you thought it was gonna be.
“Reo!” You called over the wind. “This is fun!” You smiled. And god, somehow you were able to look even more gorgeous, even when he could barely see your face through your hair. Reo felt a blush creeping at his cheeks.
“I'm glad!” He called back.
Later, you started making your way towards the exit, the evening air crisp. “Well, we've been here for long enough. Ready to go?” You asked.
“Sure.” Reo replied.
“You can pick where we go for dinner.” You said.
“‘Kay. Thanks.”
Obviously, you ended up going to an expensive restaurant.
“Get whatever you like,” Reo began, “I'm paying, after all.”
“Uh-huh.” You shrugged, checking out the menu. “Let me guess. Steak?”
“You guessed it.” He winked at you. “What're you getting?”
“Uh, I'm thinking either this, this, or this.” You pointed to things on the menu.
“Get that one. That one's really good.” He told you.
“If you say so.”
Once your food arrived, you started eating (obviously).
“Y’know, babe, I love spending time with you like this. We should do it more.” He smiled.
“Yeah. But if you want to, then you have to cut down on the time you spend with Nagi.”
“Ah, fine.” He said, feigning distress.
“Anything for my love.”
You felt your cheeks heat up, so you took another bite. Reo took notice of this, and smiled to himself.
After paying the bill, you walked outside.
“So, anything else you want to do tonight?” Reo asked.
“Yeah, one more thing.” You replied. You removed a small box from your pocket. “Okay, so. I know that you're rich and are fully capable of getting whatever you want for yourself, no matter what it is. So, I figured I would make something for you. Something that you couldn't buy because it's special from me.”
Reo smiled sincerely.
“Uh, here.” You handed him the box, smiling nervously.
He opened it, revealing a handmade, heart shaped pin with your eye color on it.
“I made one for myself, too.” You pulled out your own heart shaped pin, with Reo's purple eye color on it.
“(Name)…” Reo hugged you. “I love it. I love it so much. And I love you.”
“I love you too, Reo. Happy birthday.” You kissed him, but as soon as you stepped back Reo just pulled you back in.

he sits beside you on the couch, engrossed in the random shows on tv. you, on the other hand, are busy reserving a table for your date at the new restaurant downtown. the sheer delight in your voice makes him glad he succeeded in emptying his tightly packed schedule for you.
[saturday night at 7 is available. would that be okay?]
a bright smile adorns your face upon hearing the employee's query. securing a table feels fortunate; it's not always easy on weekends, after all.
"alright, let me ask my husband first," you say to the phone and raising your eyebrows in silent expectation, demanding for his response.
⌗MICHAEL — the second that word comes off your lips, best believe michael is already grinning like an idiot.
him, your husband? seriously?
he never thinks too deeply about marriage—though he does want to tie the knot with you when the time's right—but he loves how endearing it sounds when you call him that. there's a mischievous glint in his sapphire eyes before he moves closer to your body.
"her husband says yes."
being the menace he is, he announces directly to the speaker, loud and clear, earning soft giggles from you.
"do you hear me? her husband—"
you cut him off and quickly apologize to the poor employee, all while suppressing the laugh that threatened to spill out of your mouth. he will tease you about this for the rest of the evening, and you will spend hours caged between his tattooed arms, listening to him yapping about his dream wedding. not that you complained.
⌗RIN — convinces himself he maintained his facade well, but the subtle dusting of red on his cheeks betrays him. he's unable to focus on the tv screen because did you really refer to him like that without warning?
realizing you're still waiting for his answer, rin fakes a cough to even his tone and mutters, "fine," loud enough for the employee on the other side to hear.
immediately shoots you a questioning glare after you hang up. he tries to act unaffected (which he fails miserably) and asks, "what was that?"
"what was what?" you playfully hum.
"you did that on purpose."
"i don't know what you're talking about, baby."
the slight pout on his lips amuses you more than you want to admit. he hides his burning face in the crook of your neck, mumbling something you can't pinpoint.
when you chuckle at his sudden clinginess, he looks up to you with those big, sparkling round eyes that remind you of his younger self. he's going to wife you up someday.
⌗REO — you know damn well reo's sickeningly in love with you, and somehow you think it's okay to casually address him as ‘my husband’? are you trying to make him explode?
the tv show is long forgotten and he's all over you in an instant, giving you a bone-crushing hug along with a sweet, dopey smile that you adore so much. you can whine and say it's just a prank, but it's too late to take it back. he already envisions the whole wedding thing.
"whatever my wifey wants," he speaks to the phone, all giddy and lovestruck. "rent the entire restaurant if you want, wifey. or buy it. or don't. actually, i'll just build you one."
before his rambling causes the employee even more confusion, you shut him up with a kiss and proceed to finish the reservation.

Did you know what you were getting yourself into when you started dating Reo? Yes. Or at least that's what you thought. You knew about your boyfriend's love towards his best friend amd you didn't really mind it, well you didn't.
Him and Nagi were spending way much more time together, since they got interested in football. You again don't mind it that much, after all he is your boyfriend and you want him to be happy. But at the same time-it wasn't fair. You knew Reo longer than Nagi did and he most of time was somehow ignoring you. He didn't do it on purpose, right? No. He wouldn't do that.
Now you were sitting in class thinking about that, while Reo and Nagi were a seat ahead of you. Of course Nagi was sleeping. Your thoughts were interrupted by the bell ringing. You packed your things and started walking through the door. You thought about waiting for Reo, but he was already busy trying to wake up Nagi from his hibernation.
Days has been awfully quiet. Still pushing though aside you decided to meet with your boyfriend so things could get back to how they were. You texted him quickly to meet up tomorrow since it was a friday evening. He replied faster than usual and agreed. You smiled and put your phone away. Well, time for getting homework done for tomorrow.
You're getting ready for the "date", well at least sort of a date. But it didn't matter it was finally time for you hang out with your boyfriend. You came to the location, patiently waiting for Reo. Waiting.. waiting..ughhhhh.... Okay, okay, calm down.. training might just hold him up right? Just wait a bit longer and check out your phon- ... Nagi, Nagi, Nagi.. enough. You went straight home after his not even bothering to text Reo. He didn't text you either so it's gonna be that way.
Instead of saying something you started being cold to him, not giving him the same attention. Did he noticed that? You can't really tell which explains a lot, but still. You loved Reo and you thought he loved you too, but seems like his best friend was more important. You couldn't continue lying yourself so you decided thar it's time.
Talk to him? How? When there is not time hm? Football, Nagi, Football, Nagi. In that moment your parents bursted into the room. Your father got a different job in another city so you're moving out of here. Well just perfect.
The next day you remembered your boyfriend had a training so you decided to go and wait for him 'till he finishes it and talk to him. On your way there though you saw no other than Nagi himself who was being late because he slept in. As you approached him an idea popped in your mind. You took out a pen and a paper and after writing on it you gave it to Nagi asking him to give it to Reo. He agreed and went to his training.
There you are now. Sitting on your desk completely ignoring the topic the teacher is talking about. There is no one that you know in the desk in front you... You have blocked Reo's and number and all of his social medias, so you didn't know if he got the paper, but if he didn't he probably figured out what happened.
When break came you were on your phone, when you suddenly saw an article. "Blue lock project" amd there they were their names.

Reo is also a clingy guy. He loves to be around you and cuddle with you, or simply follow you everywhere, like a lost puppy. It can get overwhelming at times, but he’ll stop if he feels he’s smothering you.

Being clingy, that also means he wants to spend as much time with you as possible. He loves to take you out, whether to fancy restaurants or to luxury stores, or even traveling together. Whatever it is, he wants to do it with you.

Isagi loves your affection. He adores it!! Would never stop you or push you away. He most likely like hugging you, because that's when you are the closest to him. His hand is usually around your shoulder or waist, especially if you are around his friends from blue lock. He loves running to you after a match, when you are in the front line of the audience, watching him. People around you are screaming. Like y'all are kissing in every photo of his matches. Forehead kisses are his to go for when you are in public. He loves when you run your hand through his hair whether that be in public or private. In general, he would return your affection right away, and he loves it.
Rin Itoshi
Rin likes your affection, but he doesn't show it. Okay, he may return it, but way more silently than you. He would brush his knee against yours when you are sitting, walk you from the paparazzi by putting his hand on your back, give you his water bottle to drink. He, most of the time, acts annoyed when you show too much affection, or when you ask to kiss him in public he'll say no, hoping you would ask again. In public tho, he would react a lot. Especially with the paparazzi around you. Overall, you are definitely the more affectionate one and he acts annoyed on it, but don't worry, he appreciates it a lot <33
Reo Mikage
Reo falls in love with you again everytime you show his affection to him in public. He is also most likely more affectionate than you, doesn't matter if in public or private. He'll jump on you the moment he sees you. He really loves your affection tho, especially if you aren't the one to show it a lot. Here, you'll have to be the one to return his. Nagi is telling you that you are gross, while you are wrapped around Reo. To the paparazzi? Oh ho. He's showing off, he is not hiding. Of course, if you feel uncomfortable with that, tell him. The last thing he wants is for you to be uncomfortable.
Bachira Meguru
Bachira... We'll he's Bachira. If he doesn't return your affection, there is not a person who would. Keeping that in mind, you two don't leave each others sides. Like two puppies in love (it kind of is). He will shower you with affection three times bigger than yours, but it was your fault for kissing him on the face. He isn't trying to purposely show you off in public, but he does in unintentionally! Or he is just all over you and people already know. Now this pretty princess, looooooves the attention you're giving him, like genuinely loves it. ESPECIALLY if you two are in public, because he can show how much his partner loves him!! Would he return the affection? Yes... eventually. Don't get me wrong okay? He will return it, but probably behind closet doors (yes i believe Chigiri can sometimes be not much of a PDA person) or he'll show it in his own way that is unfamiliar to others, but not to you, so only you could now.
