PART FOUR | PART SIX

Minho stretches his tired body, glancing over at you in the corner of the room. You're currently taking some calls to sort out Chan's upcoming schedules, and he can't bite back a small smile while watching you. After your fight, Chan made you stay by making you responsible for his own schedule and wanting to keep you around.Â
They're taking a short break from practice, and Minho is glad to rest his body for a bit. He glances around the room and frowns as he can't find Minjun and his current assistant. âY/nnie?â he asks gently as you end your call. âWhere's our boy?â
âO-Our-,â you stammer, eyes widening at him.Â
The silence that follows is loud. Around the room, heads turn, the abrupt outburst of movement marking a collective interest in the unfolding drama, or rather, the slip of the tongue that Minho just let loose. The members, more or less familiar with the private dynamics slowly simmering between you and Minho, can hardly contain their amusement.
"Did Minho just say 'our boy'?" Jisung repeats, his voice teasing as he nudges Chan with his elbow, a knowing grin spreading across his face.
Chan doesnât miss a beat. âYeah, Minho, since when did Y/nnie and you start sharing custody?â he chimes in, laughter tinting his voice as he looks over at you both, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
Minho, usually so composed, feels a warm flush spreading up his neck, coloring his cheeks as he meets your startled gaze. He hadnât even realized what he'd said until it was echoed back to him, and now, caught in the playful teasing of his friends, he finds himself grappling for a response.
"I just meantâ" Minho starts, trying to backpedal, but Felix cuts him off, practically bouncing in his seat with delight.
"Aww, look at him! Heâs embarrassed! Minho hyung, itâs cute, really. Embrace the family vibes!" Felix teases, his voice light and teasing.
You, still slightly flustered by Minhoâs unexpected inclusivity, try to regain your composure. "Minjun is just with Hyejin," you manage to say, redirecting the conversation to the young boy's whereabouts. They went somewhere else to play. He should be nearby."
Yet, the teasing doesnât stop there. Throughout the rest of the break, the members throw in casual jokes about family planning and shared parenting. Their banter is light but pointed, a humorous acknowledgment of the evolving relationship dynamics within their circle.
As the laughter and jokes continue, Minho finds himself looking over at you, and something about your shy smile, the way you're trying to hide your own amusement, settles the warmth in him more firmly. It's a reassurance, a silent acknowledgment that maybe, just maybe, he didnât misspeak after all.
As practice resumes and the members scatter back to their positions, Minho pulls you aside for a quick, private word, his expression earnest. "Hey, about earlier," he begins, his tone soft, apologetic. "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. It just... came out."
You shake your head, dismissing his concern with a gentle smile. "Itâs okay, Minho. Really, it was sweet," you assure him, your voice just as soft. "I guess itâs just a bit new to me, but not unwelcome."
Minhoâs eyes search yours, looking for any sign of discomfort. Finding none, he allows himself a small, relieved smile. "It felt right," he admits. You already feel like family, you know?âÂ
The word 'family' hangs between you, a weighty yet comforting promise of whatâs slowly knitting together.Â
"Thank you, Minho," you reply, your heart light, warmed by the sincerity of the moment. "That means a lot to me. I'll go check on him, yeah?âÂ
âYeah,â he nods, watching you leave.Â
As soon as you leave, Changbin asks, âDo you know Minjun's new nickname for Y/nnie?âÂ
âHuh?â Minho frowns at him, grabbing his bottle of water.Â
âHe called him his new mum,â he laughs, and Minho's blush deepens. âHe also said you're like Lix and Chan hyung.â
âOh, you can't tell only half of the story,â Jisung protests. He added, âHe said you're kissing like Chan and Lix.âÂ
Minho chokes on his water, tears shooting to his eyes as he coughs. Seungmin pats his back forcefully and starts laughing at him. âHe what?â he wheezes, trying to catch his breath.Â
âYeah, he even showed Chan hyung that it's not on the cheek but on the lips,â Changbin snickers.Â
Minho blushes furiously before dropping back onto the floor with a groan. âWell, he's not lying,â he says, and his friends start laughing. Minho inhales shakily, keeping his eyes on the floor. âI still don't know if it's a good idea. I don't want to pull him into the public aspect of my life. I'm also not quite sure if I'm what he needs,â he admits, and they all grow quiet again. âThere's a lot of bullshit in the back of my mind about what happened with Yejun. I don't feel like I'm enough for Minjun either.â
âDoes it feel right being with Y/nnie, though? If everything else wouldn't matter for a secondâŠdoes it?â Felix asks gently.Â
âIt does,â he nods.Â
âMaybe being with Y/n would help your insecurities regarding Minjun,â Hyunjin reminds him.Â
âYou wouldn't be the only parent he has then..sort of,â Jeongin agrees.Â
Minho hums agreeingly and is about to answer when the door opens. He doesn't have to turn around to identify the small steps echoing on the floor. Minjun closes the distance between them and crawls into his lap, hiding his face in his shirt. Minho frowns and wraps his arms around him as he feels him tremble. âBaby, what's wrong?â he asks worriedly.Â
âHyejin is mean,â he sniffles. Chan looks up and frowns at Minho.Â
âMean?â he asks confused. âDid she say something bad?â Chan asks him gently.Â
âShe said shut up,â Minjun answers, looking at him with teary eyes. âI just showed her my drawing.â
Minho's heart sinks at how timid he sounds. He cuddles him close and kisses his head. âIt's okay, baby. Do you want to show me instead?â he asks soothingly, and Minjun nods.Â
âI'll handle it,â Chan promises and gets up quickly.
âWhere's your drawing, mate?â Felix asks encouragingly, and Minjun gets up, wiping his cheeks with his sleeve.Â
-
Chan leans against the wall in the elevator, watching you cautiously. You two just got back from handling the situation with Minhoâs new assistant, who seems hopelessly overwhelmed by taking care of Minjun. âYou love him, don't you?â he asks.Â
âMinjun?â you ask.Â
âNo, Min,â he chuckles softly. You remain silent for a moment, almost squirming under Chan's observant gaze. âDo you love him?â
âWhy?â you ask quietly. âWould that be an issue?â
Chan tilts his head at you. âAs long as you don't hurt him, there's absolutely no issue. I'm just asking because he means a lot to us. Minjun does, too. Minho has been hurt very badly before, and I won't let that happen again.â
âI know; he's scared of getting hurt again,â you nod gently and fidget with your hands. âI do love him. Minjun and he mean a lot to me, and I have no intention of hurting either of them.â
âOkay,â Chan nods gently. âMinjun called you his new mum,â he smirked, and you bit back a laugh.Â
âSounds like him,â you giggle. âReally, Chan, I don't want to be a distraction or anything. I know that's probably easier with you and Felix, but-.â
Chan giggles softly and shakes his head. âSince we're both part of the group, every argument carries a certain risk. I think you being with them takes a lot off Minho's shoulders with Minjun.â He shoves his hands into his pockets and nods gently. âI'll be there if you need anything. I'd rather have you two get some help than get into another argument that lasts for weeks. He doesn't do well with conflict,â he laughs.Â
âMe neither,â you laugh.Â
âAnd you're sure you want to take over organizing both of our schedules? With Minjun?â he asks gently.Â
âOh, Minho's schedule can be done whenever he's available. Minjun doesn't feel like a job, and the older he gets, the less he'll be around the whole day,â you chuckle softly. âAlso, let's not get ahead of ourselves; Minho and I haven't named our situation yet.â
Chan hums softly. âIf it takes too long, let me know,â he smirks, leading you back to the practice room.Â
Minjun is sitting on Felix's lap as you enter the room, his drawings spread out on the floor with the others inspecting them closely. He explains them in detail, amusing everyone present with his sweet way to do so. Minho watches him fondly, and looking at him you realize that this soft side of him made him stand out to you in the first place. Chan takes his place next to Felix, hand resting on his thigh naturally as he joins the discussion of Minjun's masterpiece. Minho reaches for your hand, pulling you into his lap and resting his head on your shoulder. You're a little surprised by the sudden display of affection here with the others, but the knowing smiles tell you that not only Chan knows. âWhat happened with Minjun?â he asks quietly.Â
âHyejin yelled at him. She didn't realize that being your assistant comes with taking care of Minjun properly. She had already refused to play with him, so he told her about his toys and drawings because he was bored, which annoyed her.
âTold you your replacement is shit,â he says quietly enough for only you to hear.Â
âIdiot,â you chuckle fondly, smiling as he intertwines your hands. âWell, I'm officially your assistant again. I won't let anyone treat Minjun like that.â
Minho's hold on you tightens. âThat's why I trust you with him.â You squeeze his hands lovingly, leaning back against him.
-
Minho giggles stupidly as he watches you stitch up the back of Leebitâs head. You've just spent a while trying to figure out a way to include some of his cologne in the plushie to make it smell like him for Minjun, much to his amusement.Â
âYou're so easily entertained sometimes,â you roll your eyes at him fondly. Minho circles the table, steps behind you, and wraps his arms around your waist.Â
âYou're amusing to watch sometimes,â he gives back, kissing your cheek. âBut adorable.â
âWell, thanks. Not my fault your son is so attached to you,â you tease him gently, smiling as he runs his hands down your thighs, resting his head on your shoulder.Â
âHey, how is the sheer amount of love my son has for me my fault, huh?â he asks, gently squeezing your thighs. âIt's not like I'd get what's so special,â he snorts.Â
âYou're his father, and compared to some other people we won't name here, you're actually there,â you say, and Minho bites back a laugh. You shake your head, focusing on the stitching, though the warmth of Minho's presence makes it hard to concentrate. "I think you underestimate your charm, Minho."
"I could say the same about you," he whispers back, his voice low and affectionate.
As you finish up with Leebit, Minho gently takes it from you, examining your work with an appreciative eye. "Perfect. He won't even notice the fix. You're amazing, Y/nnie."
The praise, sincere and simple, stirs something deep within you, and you find yourself turning to face him, his hands still circled around your waist. "I just don't want him to feel so alone whenever you're gone," you say.
Minho nods, his gaze softening. "You're so sweet. Don't you ever leave us, dear."
"Even when it gets complicated?" you ask, needing to hear his answer. You havenât been this close to someone in ages, and you know Minho is a lot further than you in a few areas, but his prior hurt canât be disregarded.
"Especially then," Minho affirms, his thumb tracing circles on your hip. "We're in this together, right?"
"Right," you agree, leaning in to kiss himâa sweet, affirming connection that promises more than words could.
-
The ring of Minhoâs phone cuts through the quiet of his living room. Glancing at the caller ID, his stomach tightens uncomfortably; Yejunâs name flashes across the screen, bringing with it a cascade of unwelcome emotions.
He hesitates for a moment before picking up. âYejun.â
âMinho,â her voice comes through, falsely cheerful. âIâve been thinking a lot about Minjun. I want to take him to the U.S. with me for a while. Just a trip. It could be good for him.â
Minhoâs grip on the phone tightens, his other hand balling into a fist at his side. Did she already forget the debacle from last time? âYejun, weâve talked about this. Minjun doesnât want that. Not without me.â
Thereâs a pause, and when she speaks again, her tone has cooled significantly. âYou just donât want to let me have him,â she says.
âThatâs not it,â Minho replies, struggling to keep his voice even. âItâs about what he needs. And right now, he needs stability, something you walking in and out of his life doesnât provide. Especially not after last time.â
Yejunâs laugh is sharp, biting. âOh, now youâre the perfect father, huh? Wasnât so perfect when we were married. Always away, always working. You were a shit husband, Minho.â
The words sting more than Minho likes to admit. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath and reminding himself that his being away often hadnât been the core issue. âI was not perfect,â he continues, the weight of their failed marriage always a tender wound. âAnd I am sorry for my part in what happened between us. But this isnât about us, Yejun. Itâs about Minjun.â
Silence stretches on the other end before Yejunâs voice cracks through, icy and menacing. âYouâre keeping my son from me, Minho. You might fool everyone else with your doting father act, but I know the truth. I know who you really are.â
âYou don't know shit, Yejun,â he says firmly. âYou haven't been there for the past four years. Don't act like you know anything about me and my relationship with Minjun.â
âIt doesn't matter if it's true or not if someone else believes me,â she says lowly.Â
Minho feels a chill run down his spine. âYejun, please. Letâs not do this. If you want to see Minjun, you can visit here and spend time with him where heâs comfortable. Thatâs fair, isnât it?â
âFair?â Yejun spits the word out like it tastes bitter. âYou expect me just to accept scraps of time with my own son? Youâve turned him against me, Minho.â
âThatâs not true. Minjun is old enough to know what he wants. And right now, he doesnât want to go with you,â Minho insists, his voice firm. âHeâs happy here, with his life here.â
Thereâs a venomous pause before Yejunâs voice lowers, a dark promise threading through her words. âYou may have won this little round, Minho, but this isnât over. I will have my son back. And Iâll destroy your life if I have to for taking him away from me. Iâll make you pay yourself stupid once I take him back in.â
âYou chose to go away. You handed over full custody to me; technically, I could make sure you never see him again, which I don't because that's bullshit. But don't twist things,â Minhoâs heart races with a mix of anger and fearâanger at her threats and fear of what she might be capable of. âYejun, donât do this. Donât make threats. Letâs try to handle this like adults, for Minjunâs sake.â
Yejunâs laugh is cold, devoid of any real humor. âOh, honey. This is just the beginning. I left because I had to, not because I wanted to. You made our life impossible. Remember that.â
With a click, she hangs up, leaving Minho staring at his phone, her words echoing in his head. He slumps back into the sofa, the weight of the call settling over him like a heavy blanket.
After a few moments of stunned silence, he stands, pacing the living room. The threat Yejun posed was not just to his tranquility but to Minjunâs well-being. He knew he couldnât take her words lightly. Yejun was unpredictable, and if her past actions were any indication, she was capable of following through on her threats.
He needed to be proactive. First, he would need to talk to his legal team about securing his custody of Minjun, ensuring that Yejun couldnât just take him without consent. Then, he would need to sit down with Minjun and prepare him, just in case Yejun tried to contact him directly.
By the time you arrive back home with Minjun, he is mentally exhausted but knows the day is far from over.
Minjun greets him with a smile and runs into his arms the moment he reaches him. âDaddy! I'm home!â
Minho hugs him tightly, lifting him up and spinning him around, Minjunâs laughter a balm to his frayed nerves. Setting him down, he kneels before him, looking into his sonâs eyes. âBuddy, we need to talk about something important,â he begins, his voice soft but serious.
Minjunâs face sobers, sensing the gravity in his fatherâs tone. âIs everything okay, Daddy?â
âEverythingâs going to be okay,â Minho reassures, pressing a kiss to his forehead. âWe just have some things to sort out, you and I. But no matter what, weâre together in this. Okay?â
âOkay, Daddy,â Minjun nods, trust shining in his eyes.
As you sit down together, Minhoâs heart swells with love for his son. No matter what Yejun threatened, he would protect Minjun and ensure his happiness. They were a team, and together, they could face anything - even this.
Minho fills you in quietly later as Minjun is playing on the carpet not far from you. Your heart sinks at her threats, and you almost feel sorry for her twisted view of what happened. That couldn't be healthy.Â
-
Minhoâs sleep is uneasy, his dreams filled with vague, unsettling images. He awakes with a start to the intrusive buzzing of his phone. He reaches out groggily, the glow from the screen harsh against the dim light of early morning. Blinking the sleep from his eyes, Minhoâs gaze settles on a flood of notificationsâmissed calls, texts, and several urgent notifications from various news apps.
As he scrolls through them, a cold knot forms in his stomach. Each message seems to echo the same shocking revelation: âYejun reveals Minho is dating his sonâs babysitter!â and âQuestions arise over Minhoâs capabilities as a parent!â His heart pounds as he reads snippets of articles, each one painting him in an increasingly unfavorable light.
Beside him, you stir, your brow furrowing in sleep. Minhoâs first instinct is to protect you from the storm that is about to break. He slips out of bed, his mind racing as he tries to process the information. How had things spiraled out of control so quickly? He knew Yejun was bitter about their past, but to go this far was something he hadn't anticipated.
He paces the room, his phone almost slipping from his sweaty palm as he tries to call Chan, his first person to turn to when his public life's falling apart. Chan had a way of handling these situations that made him feel safe. After several rings, a groggy voice answers.
âMin? Itâs...what time is it?â Chan sounds disoriented, but he snaps to attention as soon as Minho begins to speak.
âI'm sorry for waking you, Channie hyung,â he says quietly, feeling a little guilty for disrupting his already fucked sleep schedule.Â
Chan sits up at the timid sound of his voice. Minho doesn't call him âChannie hyungâ often; It's usually when he's feeling anxious or very thankful about something. He doubts it's the latter. âMinnie, what's wrong?â he asks gently, slipping out of bed to let Felix keep sleeping.Â
âChannie, itâs all over the news. Yejun... she told them about Y/nnie and me. She said I canât take care of Minjun properly. Itâs a mess,â Minhoâs voice is a mix of anger and desperation.
âWhat?!â Chanâs voice suddenly becomes sharp and angry. âShe did what? Hold on, Iâm checking this now.â
Silence fills the line for a few moments before Chan speaks again, his voice icy. âI see it. This is bullshit, Minho. Sheâs crossed a line. Iâm calling the PR team. We need to handle this swiftly.â
âThanks, hyung. I...I donât know what to do,â Minho confesses, running a hand through his hair. His heart feels like it is being squeezed in his chest, the anxiety making it hard to breathe.
âJust stay put and try to keep calm. Iâll handle the media part. You just... make sure Y/nnie is okay. He's going to be dragged into this mess too,â Chan advises, his voice calm, but Minho can hear the underlying strain.
Minho nods, though Chan canât see it. âYeah, Iâll talk to him. Thanks, Channie, seriously.â
âAlways, mate. Weâre in this together,â Chan reassures him before hanging up.
-
Minho slipped out of the house quietly soon after, relieved that Minjun and you were still peacefully asleep. He needs to clear his head to handle everything calmly, and Chan will be busy for a while now.Â
Minho steps into the practice room and stretches his tired body, warming up. He turns on the music a little more quietly than usual and closes his eyes, taking deep breaths as he prepares his body for the usual strain of dancing.Â
He grabs his phone after a while and swallows hard. It isn't just the messages or missed callsâit's headlines, the kind that blur the lines between personal and public in the most invasive ways. âStray Kidsâ Minhoâs Ex-Wife Claims NeglectâSays Heâs Too Busy Dating Babysitter to Care for Son.â The words are crafted to scandalize, and they do their job perfectly.
The news is spreading fast, and with each passing minute, the narrative is slipping further from his control. Yejun had not only threatened him in private but also taken her grievances to the most public domain possible. The implications were catastrophic, affecting not just him but also Minjun and you, who had been nothing but supportive and loving towards both him and his son.
Minho gets lost in their newest choreo, moving his body precisely to the music, and tries to stop thinking about it for a while. Chan finds him there about an hour later, turning the music off as the song ends. âThought I'd find you here.â
Minho pants softly and grabs the towel Chan holds out for him, wiping his face. âNeeded to clear my head.â
The room is silent, heavy with unsaid words, until Chan finally speaks, his voice tight with anger and concern. âThis is messed up, Min. She canât just throw you to the wolves like this.â
Minho sighs, rubbing his temples. âI know, but sheâs doing it anyway. Sheâs making it all public and dragging Y/n into it, too. Itâs getting out of hand, and Iâm worried about what this is doing to Minjun.â
Chanâs jaw clenches, and his protectiveness over his friend is evident. âWeâll fix this, okay? I talked to the PR team to see how we can counteract these claims. And Iâm here, whatever you need.â
Minho looks up, startled as the door opens and Felix steps inside, followed by the rest of their closest friends. âSorry, we're a little late.â
They all gather on the floor next to Minho and Chan, reassuringly patting his back as they do. âLet's deal with this bitch once and for all,â Jisung says firmly, feeling the need to protect little Minjun from this mess.Â
âIs there anything we can do to help?â Seungmin asks, glancing at Chan questioningly.Â
âEveryone of us will publish a statement; I already talked that through. Minho shouldn't have any issues proving he's the one worthy of custody in case she snaps and takes him to court. Hyunjin, Innie, you have an interview coming up; be prepared for dumb questions.â
âI'll make them look stupid instead,â Hyunjin grins, pulling a weak laugh from Minho.Â
âHave you talked to your parents yet?â Jeongin asks Minho, who shakes his head.Â
âI forgot about that,â he admits, already searching for his phone.Â
âMight be a good idea to clear things up with them first,â Changbin agrees.Â
âWhatever happens, we have your back,â Felix promises.
âThank you guys, really. JustâŠif you find ways to ease Y/nnie with this, I'd be grateful. He's not exactly prepared for the publicâs shit as we are.â
âOf course,â Chan assures him. âNow go call your parents.â
The support is reassuring, but the problem looms large and unyielding. As the day progresses, you come to find Minho, your expression fraught with worry. Seeing you so distressed adds another layer of guilt to Minhoâs already heavy conscience.
âHey,â he says softly as you hand over Minjun to Jisung, who leaves you some space.Â
âHey,â you echo, swallowing hard. âMinho, maybe I should just leave,â you suggest hesitantly, the words paining you even as they leave your lips. âIf Iâm not around, she wonât have another reason to attack you like this.â
Minho looks up sharply, his eyes locking with yours. âY/n, no. Leaving wonât fix this. Itâs not your presence thatâs the problemâitâs Yejun. And Iâm not going to let her chase you away. You mean too much to me, to Minjun.â
Your eyes fill with tears, touched by his words but still shaken by the rapid unraveling of your quiet life. âBut Minho, this is getting so big. What if it affects Minjun more than it already has? What if your careerââ
He shakes his head, hands finding yours. âLook, whatever happens, we face it together. Yejun is trying to isolate us and make us feel weak by dividing us. I wonât let her. I love you, Y/nnie, and I need you to know that.â
The affirmation, so heartfelt and desperate, breaks through your resolve to distance yourself. You nod, squeezing his hands back, finding strength in his conviction.
âWeâll deal with this,â Minho continues, his voice firm despite the chaos around you. âIâll talk to the lawyers, and see what legal avenues we have to protect ourselves and Minjun. And Chan is rightâweâll work with the PR team to set the record straight.â
True to his word, Minho arranged meetings with his legal team, and together with the public relations department, they began crafting a response that would address the allegations head-on. Chan was a constant presence, offering both strategic advice and moral support, and his friendship was a steady force in the tumult.
As the week progressed, strategies were implemented. The company issued a statement denouncing the unfounded accusations and highlighting Minhoâs dedication as a father, accompanied by testimonials from colleagues and friends outside the group who vouched for his character and his role in Minjunâs life.
Yet, despite the countermeasures, the shadow of the scandal lingered. The press was relentless, and the public's appetite for celebrity drama was insatiable. Minho found himself scrutinizing every decision and every interaction with Minjun and you, aware that the eyes of the world were now critically watching.
Minho asked you to move in with them so it'd be easier for him to keep you safe. It didn't change much for you since you've been staying over a lot already and barely went back home. So, of course, you said yes.Â
Two months laterÂ
Felix's birthday is just around the corner, and you're almost a little surprised when he comes to you to invite you all. He giggles at your stunned look and tilts his head at you. âYou look like you've seen a ghost.â
âI'm justâŠdid you ask Min?â you ask nervously.Â
âNo,â Felix shakes his head. âHe's busy right now, and I'm inviting you as you are part of his and, therefore, our family.â
âOh,â you nod gently, a shy smile covering your lips. âSure, I'd love to be there,â you nod. âI bet Minjun would love it as well, and Minho will surely be there.â
âLovely,â he smiles and gives you a gentle hug.Â
Minho later walks in, Minjun sitting on his shoulders with a wide grin. âY/nnie!â Minjun shouts and waves at you. âLook, I'm tall!â
âOh yeah, you're really tall now, buddy!â you assure him.Â
Minho giggles softly, stopping in front of you and greeting you with a soft kiss. âHey there,â he says fondly.Â
âHey,â you smile back at him. âReady to go home?â you ask, and Minho hums softly.Â
âMinjun is staying over at Chan and Felix's tonight,â he says, and you frown at him, surprised.Â
âThe whole night?â you ask, and Minho hums agreeing. Over the past two months, you've been letting Minjun stay with all of the boys for a few hours each. It helped him grow less dependent on Minho, and he became more confident about staying somewhere else for a while. Minjun seemed happy, and Minho was more than glad. It allowed you all to grow together. âWhat's the occasion?â you ask curiously. Chan and Felix had been the ones Minjun loved staying with a lot. Chan once told Minho how much Felix loved having him around, and so the two of them made sure their boyfriend and son got what they loved.Â
âMaybe I just want to take you out for dinner without having to glance at the time,â he smiles softly, letting Minjun down as he spots his beloved âChangninâ. Minhoâs hands find your waist, eyes growing soft the longer he looks at you. âMaybe I want to kiss you stupid after without worrying about a certain someone bursting in and going âewwâ.â
You giggle softly at the memory of Minjun catching Minho kissing you a little more passionately than he'd do in front of him. âSounds lovely,â you chuckle.Â
Minho hums gently, searching your eyes as if he doesn't know if he should keep talking or not. âMaybeâŠMaybe I'd be ready to take the next step,â he says, and your eyes widen. âNo pressure or anything, though. Just..if it feels right if we're both comfortable tonightâŠI think I'm ready.â
You can't bite back the giddy smile covering your lips. Over the months you've been with Minho, you have never gone much further than kissing. He once covered your neck with loving little bites, but you didn't get much further with Minjun, only a few doors further. You've been able to tell how Minho grew a little impatient every time things were developing into something more, but there was simply no chance you two could take the time you'd need for your first time together with a child around the house. âYou're sure?â you ask gently, and Minho nods.Â
âI'm sure, my love,â he says sweetly, making your stomach flutter already.Â
âI love you, Min,â you whisper, watching his eyes sparkle with joy.Â
âI love you too, Y/nnie,â he says softly. âCome on, let's make sure Minjun is with Chan and Felix,â Minho suggests with a playful nudge, guiding you toward them.Â
Felix is already fooling around with Minjun, and Chan is watching them fondly. âAre you ready to go?â Chan asks as you reach them.Â
âYeah, everything is done,â Minho nods, smirking at Minjun. âAre you ready to stay with Lix and Channie?â
âYes, Daddy,â Minjun nods happily, and Minho crouches down in front of him.
âIâll pick you up tomorrow, yeah? Uncle Channie will take you to the studio with him if you want to,â he tells him, gently squeezing his little hands. âBe good, yeah? No discussions about bedtime either, baby.â
âYes, Daddy,â Minjun nods eagerly and tightly hugs him goodbye. âI love you,â he says softly.
âI love you too, dumpling,â Minho smiles and kisses his cheek, gently brushing back his curls.Â
You gently rest your hand on his shoulder, silently reminding him to let go of him. Itâs also the first night for Minho without his boy since Yejun left. Minho does, and Minjunâs hugging you goodbye tightly. Chan chuckles softly, noticing Minhoâs worried frown. âIâll return him intact, I promise,â he winks at him, and Minho relaxes with a chuckle.Â
Felix lifts up Minjun, smiling reassuringly at Minho. âWeâll take good care of him,â he tells him.
âI know,â he assures them gently. âJust new for me as well,â he laughs, gently poking Minjunâs cheek. âBe good, yeah?â
âYou too,â he says, making everyone giggle.Â
Minho rolls his eyes fondly, winking at him. âYeah, okay.â His hand finds yours as they leave, and you squeeze it softly. âI canât believe Iâm saying this, but heâs growing up way too fast,â he chuckles with a soft sigh.Â
âMhm, yeah, I canât believe you saying this either,â you snort teasingly.
âShut up, will you?â he laughs, gently shoving your side. âAlright, letâs go,â he gives himself a push.
The two of you reach his car outside the building. As you both settle in, a sense of nervous excitement fills the air - a mixture of anticipation for the evening ahead and the deep emotional connection that has grown between you two.Â
Back at home, the two of you get ready, and you let Minho match your outfits since he has a way better eye for whatâs needed in public. You barely got used to people taking pictures of him when you were only his assistant, but now you had to excel yourself as his boyfriend. Minho does his best to make you feel comfortable and look presentable for pictures whenever youâre out together. Once heâs done, he hums to himself happily, smacking your butt lovingly. Typical.
The drive is quiet but comfortable, filled with shared glances and soft smiles, each exchange weaving a deeper layer of intimacy. As you arrive at the restaurant, Minhoâs hand finds yours, his grip reassuring and warm. You soon blend out the people around you, focusing on him only. This isnât very hard to do because something about Minho caught your attention long before you started dating.Â
Minho is more relaxed lately now that the whole mess with Yejun is settled. All of his friends repeatedly spoke out for him, and two weeks ago, Minho attended a press conference dealing with the matter. You know that hadnât been easy for him, but he had been rather open and honest, making sure all the rumors were addressed and settled. He also made sure to clarify that youâve been working for him for years, slowly taking more and more care of Minjun and growing closer with him in the process. She did her best to take him back to court, but looking at the circumstances, it only benefited Minho, who refused all of the payments sheâd have to make for dragging his name through dirt and spreading lies.
After dinner, Minho suggests a walk, and you wander through a nearby park adorned with twinkling lights and soft shadows. You stop beneath a street lantern, its soft glow painting the scene in an almost magical light. Minho turns to you, his eyes reflecting the twinkling lights, his face etched with tenderness.
âY/nnie,â he begins, his voice a whisper of emotion. âBeing with you has made me happier than Iâve been in a long time. I feel like I can finally breathe like Iâm more myself than Iâve ever been.â You listen, your heart swelling with each word, the sincerity in his voice anchoring the swirling emotions inside you. âAnd I want to share everything with you. Not just the dinners or the walks, or the laughs we have with Minjun. I want to share all the moments, even those weâve yet to live,â he continues, his hand reaching up to gently caress your cheek. âI love you so much, and Iâll be there as long as you let me.â
The emotional weight of his words pulls you closer, and you find your lips meeting in a kiss that speaks volumes. Itâs tender at first, explorative, and as if each of you is memorizing the feel of the other. The kiss deepens; it grows more passionate, fueled by the months of growing love and restrained desire.
Minhoâs arms wrap around you, pulling you closer. His hands trace the lines of your back, pressing you into his warmth. You respond in kind, weaving your hands into his hair, pulling him closer, deepening the kiss until itâs all that exists in the world - the two of you, beneath the warm lights, lost in each other.
Eventually, the need for air forces you apart, but only slightly. Foreheads pressed together, breathing mingled, you share a quiet laugh - a moment of pure happiness and mutual understanding.
âLetâs go home?â you ask gently, and he hums in response.
The walk back to the car is filled with easy silence, which is comfortable and reassuring. Once home, Minho leads you to your bedroom, his hand steady in yours, a silent promise of whatâs to come - a night of exploring, of loving, of affirming the feelings that have been simmering beneath the surface for so long. His lips entangle yours in a passionate kiss as he silently closes the door behind you. The back of your knees hit the edge of the mattress, and you both drop down into it. Minho hovers over you, eyes filled with nothing but pure adoration and love. Heâs bracing himself next to your head, caging your legs in with his knees, and leans down, capturing your lips in another fierce kiss. His body moves on its own, searching yours, and the minute your hands find his hips, he lowers himself onto his elbows, closing the distance between your bodies. âShit,â he mutters against your lips as you arch into him.
You reach down, testing the waters and palming him through his pants. Minhoâs hips stutter, a soft moan leaving him, head dropping against your shoulder. âMinho?â you ask softly, noticing how desperately his body reacts to your every touch without him even fully realizing it. âWhen was the last time you had some time for yourselfâŠlike this?â
Minho laughs, planting a row of gentle kisses against your neck. âMy sweet love, you have no idea,â he chuckles. âRemember that clingy kid of mine?â he asks, making you laugh as well.Â
âRight,â you giggle and kiss his cheek.Â
âJust tell me what you need, love; Iâll do it,â Minho promises gently, smiling down at you fondly. âWe have time.â
Minhoâs whispered promise lingers in the air, the warmth of his smile making your heart flutter. The room feels isolated from the world, a private sanctuary where the past complexities and external pressures fade into the background. Here, itâs just the two of you, bound by an intimacy that has deepened with each shared struggle and joy.
You guide his hand beneath your shirt, letting him explore your bare skin. Your breath hitches as he follows your silent directions with attentive care. Minhoâs touch is skilled, a perfect blend of tender and assured, driven by his desire to bring you comfort and pleasure. His eyes never leave yours, seeking confirmation and encouragement, his own desire mirrored in the deepening blush of your cheeks.
âIs this okay?â he murmurs, his voice rough with emotion. His fingertips trace patterns along the waistband of your trousers that leave you breathless.
âMore than okay,â you manage to reply, your voice a whisper caught between sighs. The room fills with the sound of your intertwined breaths, a testament to the closeness that both of you cherish.
Minhoâs movements become more purposeful. His free hand cradles your face, his thumb caressing your jawline as he watches the effects of his actions reflected in your expressions. The world narrows down to the shifting shadows cast by the dim light, the soft bedding beneath you, and the man who has come to mean so much. He has barely touched you and youâre already melting into a puddle. How the hell would you survive this?

okay so my blog was not for this, but i HAD to write this down so i can get it out my mind.
imagine waking up in your shared bedroom with minho. maybe you have light baby yellow curtains flowing around from the breeze in the morning. you have a well rested mind, and you can feel the sleep in your boyfriend's warm neck. minho taking care of you with such love.
your back on the mattress while his whole body is covering you. you feel his fingertips in your hair. massaging your scalp, writing life time promisses over his lover's body. he's thrusting into you so slowly and gently as he only does in the mornings. you feel his nose travelling around your face, and his lips like butterfly wings, as soft as if it almost wasn't there. his whimpers, small and high pitched, landing like secrets in your ears. he wouldn't bring them out later, and you would keep such gift locked in your heart.
but right now, he hears how he sounds. little, too little. like a baby sleeping in their mother's arms. like his love woudn't ever fit in his limited human body. you feel his hair tickling you. his legs wrapped around you. his arms over yours. but nothing, will ever be compared to his soft as clouds moans. moans that are meant for you, and you only. minho, on the other hand, hears your prayers that sound like his name. feels you warm, and so, so wet.
minho gets you presents. gets pretty watches wrapped around in a lovely ribbon. he gets you flowers, every thursday when you're home early cooking dinner and the flower shop near his company gets fresh tulips. too expensive necklaces and handmade cups. but this moment, right here, is when minho feels that you can finally understand his love.

âMum when will lunch be ready?â
âSoon, I just gotta do one last thing. Why donât you go wash your hands?â
âOkay!â The little girl ran to the bathroom.
As the mother was finishing up putting the food in the plates the bell rang. The mother raised an eyebrow, as she wasnât expecting anyone to come over. She walked to the door and peeked the peep hole, seeing a man with papers in his hands.
âWho is it?â She asked not opening the door.
âHello! Iâm Kwangsoo from a research group. Do you have time for a few questions? I promise it wonât take more than 5 minutes.â He spoke and the woman sighed unlocking her door.
âThis is anonymous, so you donât have to give me your name, but Iâll need other information.â He said and the woman nodded.
âAge? Even approximately.â He joked and the woman chuckled.
âI donât hide my age. Iâm 43.â She replied and the man gasped.
âWow. I was expecting youâd be in your thirties. You look very young!â He complimented and the woman chuckled, letting out a small âthank youâ.
âDo you have kids?â He asked and the woman nodded. âYes, an 8 year old daughter.â
âAh, brilliant. Sheâs on second grade at school right?â He asked while scribbling down the answers. âYes and she is going so well!â the woman smiled and the man nodded, smiling back.
âDo you smoke?â he asked and the woman shook her head ânoâ.
âAh, very good. This is mostly what we needed to know. If you were a smoker, Iâd ask whether you smoke around your kid, in which areas of the house do you smoke, if youâd let your kid smoke, or even urge it to smoke. But since you donât smoke, I think we are done here!â The man said and the woman smiled. âGlad I helped!â
âYeahâŠâ the man trailed off but didnât move.
âIs there anything else you want?â the woman asked confused, her eyebrows furrowing. âAh, no, no. I got everything I wanted.â He said and put his pen in his pocket. Before the woman could awkwardly close the door in the manâs face, he pulled out a gun, making the woman gasp. âDonât scream, or Iâll shoot.â He threatened and the woman slowly walked back in, the man following her.
âWhere is your daughter now?â The man asked. âSheâs not here.â The woman replied hoping her daughter would hear and take the hint.
âMommy, who is this man?â The girl asked and the woman sighed.
âCome here, little girl, Iâm your mumâs friend.â The man said and the woman glared.
âDo not fucking touch her.â She said through gritted teeth and the man clicked his tongue.
âI donât think youâre the one to call the shots here, sweetheart.â He said and finished tying the woman on the chair.
âWhatâs your name, little one?â He asked the girl. âIâm Ara. What are you doing to my mum?â
âWe are going to do a little show for mommy. Now, why donât you take your pants off?â

âHow do I do this, though?â You asked and Jisung shook his head, softly chuckling at you. âItâs no big deal. Itâs not like youâre confessing a murder or something. Just go up to him and say it.â He said and you slapped your hand over his mouth.
âWhy are you so loud? He will hear you! Shhh!â You panicked and he just laughed again, removing your hand from his mouth.
âCalm down. Stress is not good for-â he started but was interrupted by Felix.
âWe have a case. Itâs bad.â He said with widened eyes and the three of you rushed to the conference room.
âWhat happened now?â Changbin asked with a bored tone making Chan glare at him.
âItâs bad. Very bad.â Felix repeated and Chan sighed. Â âTwo cases. Same killer. They raped the daughter, tied the mom and made her watch. The fathers were absent.â
âOh my god.â You said and Felix continued. âMother Lee Yoonah and daughter Kim Ara were the first two victims and yesterday mother Hwang Eunji and daughter Moon Minji were the next two.â
âWhat about the fathers?â Chan asked.
âKim Donghyun was at work and found the first two victims like this. Moon Juwon and his wife were divorced. He was notified that their daughter didnât attend school the next day.â Felix answered and everyone nodded.
âAny connections between the victims?â Seungmin asked.
âNope. The families lived in different areas, the kids went to different schools, no common after school activities and the mothers attended different universities.â Felix said.
âWhat about the fathers?â Minho asked. âI havenât searched yet.â Felix replied.
âFelix, you will go find any connection between the fathers. Search if they were at the same school, university, work place, anything they might have in common. Minho and I will visit the second crime scene and then the school of the second girl. Changbin, Han, you guys will talk to Moon Juwon at the police station. Seungmin and Jeongin, you guys will go to the school of the first girl. Hyunjin and (y/n) will find Kim Donghyun in his house, since thereâs no crime scene for the first two victims.â Chan ordered.
âAh, yes! Here is the box with photos of the evidence of the first crime scene. Itâs all the police could find.â Felix said and handed you the box.
âLetâs go find the bastard.â Chan said and everyone got up.

âHe really made them watch their daughters getting raped and then shot them.â Chan exclaimed not able to believe it. âI swear to god when we catch this bitch, Iâll make him pay.â Minho murmured as he examined the crime scene more, with the help of the police officers.
âThere are no signs of forced entry.â An officer informed Chan. âThey were about to have lunch together. The table was made and the food is untouched.â Minho appeared from the kitchen.
âThe man somehow got in. Probably knocked? Earned the trust of the mother and was allowed in.â Chan thought out loud.
âHe personally knew the victims. Thatâs an act of hatred.â Minho said and Chan nodded. âIâll text Felix to check if the two families had common friendsâ

âMr Juwon?â Jisung walked in the room, seeing Moon Juwon with his head in his hands.
He carefully sat across him on the table, Changbin copying him.
âWhy?â The broken man asked.
âThatâs what we want to find out too, Mr Juwon. We would like to ask you a few questions about your ex-wife and your daughter, if thatâs okay with you.â Changbin spoke and the man nodded.
âYou said you were informed about your daughterâs absence from school, correct?â Jisung started and the man nodded.
âI called her mother on her cellphone right after, when she didnât pick up I panicked because I knew sheâd be awake and on her way to work at this hour. I decided to go over there and check if someone was home and then⊠I-I sawâŠâ The man started breathing heavily, tears spilling from his eyes and Changbin moved towards him.
âTake deep breaths with me. Come on,â and the man tried to synchronize his breathing with Changbinâs.
âWould you like to stop?â Jisung asked after the man calmed down, but he shook his head ânoâ.
âIt was concluded that the killer did this around noon. Can you tell us where you were at that moment?â Changbin asked and the man looked at him with widened eyes.
âAre you accusing me of killing my ex-wife and my daughter?â he asked and Jisung sighed.
âItâs not like we canât suspect you, but by confirming an alibi, we can get many answers, such as whether you are a suspect or not, and if you arenât, then we can try and find out how did the person know youâd be away, or that you wouldnât be visiting them and end up ruining his plans.â
âI was at work. You can ask my boss and check the cameras of the parking lot and see me entering my car and leaving at about 5:15pm. Extra 15 minutes, because I was collecting my stuff and took the stairs to go down instead of the elevator.â He replied and the two men nodded.

âKim Ara was a little angel. Her mother was so sweet too. She was friends with all the other parents. I donât see how anyone could do something this brutal to them.â The principal spoke. âCould anyone be jealous of the two? Maybe a parent that wasnât that social even if they tried, or a kid that was jealous of Ara?â Seungmin asked and the principal shook her head. âI wasnât aware of anything like that. When we informed the other parents, they all seemed devastated and they all cried.â
âPeople can act.â Jeongin quietly let out and the principal nodded.

You knocked on the door and let out a shaky breath making Hyunjin raise his eyebrow at you and make a mental note to himself to ask you about it later.
âWho is it?â
âMr Kim, weâre with the FBI, we would like to talk to you, if you have time.â You said and the man opened the door seeing your badges before letting you in.
âI could have been there to protect them.â The man said and Hyunjin sighed.
âDonât think like that. We were informed that you were at work, at the time it all happened, correct?â
âYes. That day I had a headache in the morning and was thinking of calling in sick, but I had a lot of work to do and didnât want to leave it for another day.â Kim Donghyun said and you nodded.
âWe heard that your wife was very social and had talked to all the parents of students in Araâs school.â You said and the man sighed.
âYoonah isâŠ.well, was a social butterfly. She was extroverted, she was friendly, and she helped everyone. She was an angel on earth.â
âCould anyone perhaps be jealous of her or your daughter?â You asked.
âOh, no. Everyone loved her. Even since she was at school, everyone called her a sunshine. She had no enemies, she forgave everyone no matter what, which is why some people tried to use her. But she still had faith in humans.â

âDid you get any information from the school?â Chan asked Seungmin on the phone. âNo, not really. No enemies, no one jealous of them. Everyone just loved these people.â He said and Chan sighed. âWell, there must have been someone jealous of them. Anyway, Iâll meet you guys back in the police station.â He said and hung up, before dialing Changbinâs number.
âAny information?â Â âThe father has an alibi, so he obviously isnât a suspect. But other than that nothing special. What about you?â
âNo, nothing. The girl was a good enough student, her mother didnât really engage with the other parents. Weâre coming to the police station now.â He said and hung up.

âIâm thinking of selling this house and leaving. Itâs hard to sleep in this house, wake up and sit on the couch where it all happened.â Kim Donghyun murmured.
âIt might be good for you. To make a new start, I mean.â You answer and Hyunjin got up from the seat next to you.
âDo you mind if I look around? Just in case there is any evidence the police missed?â He asked.
âIt was cleaned up, but feel free to search anything.â The man said and waved a hand in dismissal.

Chanâs phone beeped on his pocket and he picked it up, handing it to Minho, as he was driving.
âFelix? What is it?â He asked.
âOh my god, you wonât believe it, the fathers could know each other.â
âHow so?â Minho asked. âThey attended the same university, had different majors, but shared a few common classes.â
âInform the others who are at the police station, we will inform (y/n) and Hyunjinâ Chan said and Minho hung up.

Hyunjin paced around the room, connecting each photo by the police to every corner of the house. Â He stared at the manâs big library pulling out a random book and read its title.
âYou seem to have many booksâ He commented and the man looked up.
âYeah, I was kind of a bookworm ever since I was a kid. Yoonah and I even tried to make a book club in college. We werenât enough people, since according to the rules we needed at least 5 and we were only 4, so we never got to actually make it.â He said and Hyunjin nodded.
Right in that moment your phone beeped with a text.
âOh my god,â You said out loud and looked at the man across you with widened eyes.
âWhat is it?â Both he and Hyunjin said at the same time.
âDo you perhaps know a person named Moon Juwon?â You asked and Hyunjin raised an eyebrow.
The man stood up and moved towards Hyunjin, picking the book exactly next to the one Hyunjin had picked and pulled out a photo.
âThis is my wife, me and Moon Juwon. He was one of the people who wanted to be in our book club.â The man said.
âWho was the other person?â You asked and the man paused.
âI... donât remember his name. We werenât really close, we just agreed to let him in the book club because we needed people. He didnât take it well when we were told that we canât make it. We found an old building and held it here, trying to show other people that we arenât nerds for wanting to have a book club, but he found out and was angry we never told himâ He said.
You pulled out the phone and called Chan.
âThe fathers know each other. They wanted to make a book club. The killer is probably the 4th person, but we donât know his name.â You spoke quickly.
âWhere was that book club held?â Minho asked and pulled out his phone to text Felix for directions. The man gave the men the address and you hung up and sighed.
âFelix, tell the others to ask Juwon if he remembers the name of the fourth person and give them directions to the building. Chan and I are heading there now.â Minho said as soon as Felix picked up, as Chan turned the wheel and drove in the direction of the building.
The two men reached the building faster than the rest of the team and the police. Â Minho immediately tried to open the door, but Chan blocked him, stopping his actions.
âWhat the fuck are you doing, man?â Minho yelled.
âAre you out of your mind? We have to wait for the others to come first, we canât just go in there alone!â Chan reasoned and Minho scoffed.
âWe donât even know if he is in there. Letâs just go inside.â He said and got out of the car making Chan sigh, but copy his actions. He wouldnât let him go in there all alone.
Minho kicked the door and walked right in, checking the rooms, Chan following his actions. He motioned Minho to follow him, seeing something like a shadow moving in the room in front of him. They walked right in coming face to face with the killer, who held a gun towards them.
âPut the gun down now!â Minho ordered but the man didnât move in inch.
âNo! They deceived me! They gave me false hope and got what they deserved!â The man screamed at the top of his lungs.
âWhat did the poor little girls do to you?â Chan said, trying to play for time, until the rest of the team arrived.
âI wanted to make their parents suffer. Seeing their little girls being raped by me, seeing them cry and beg for me to stop.â
âYouâre a sick bastard.â Minho spat out and the man laughed.
âI donât care what you think of me. You donât understand because you didnât go through this.â
âThen tell us. Help us understand.â Chan said and the man laughed again.
âI know this is a trick. You canât possibly think Iâm that stupid.â He said and moved to aim at Chan, but before he could fire, Minho shot him on the leg, making him fall to the ground and drop his gun.
Chan rushed towards the gun taking it away, while Minho held the manâs arms behind his back, searched for any other weapons and handcuffed him.
In that moment, hearing the gun shot, the rest of the team, who had just arrived, rushed out of their vehicle. They saw Chan and Minho dragging the injured man outside.
âWhat the hell? Why didnât you wait for us?â Changbin yelled and took the man from Minhoâs arms.
âI couldnât wait knowing this bitch could be in there,â Minho said and Seungmin sighed.
âNext time please wait for us. We know you hate cases that involve rapes the most, especially of kids, but you canât just act impulsively.â He said making Chan nod, agreeing with the younger male.
âIt wonât happen again,â Minho promised and Jeongin sighed, finally having solved this case.
Soon, Hyunjin and you arrived too and were informed about what happened and you rushed towards Minho, engulfing him in your arms.
âWhy the fuck would you scare me like this? You could have been shot in there! Are you out of your mind?â You said hitting his chest softly, making the man chuckle.
âItâs okay now. Iâm fine! See?â he said and opened his arms to show you that he wasnât hurt at all.
âStill, Iâm supposed to avoid such stressful situations. Itâs bad for-â You said and pressed your lips together to avoid continuing your sentence, making Minho widen his eyes.
âItâs bad forâŠ? For who?â he prompted you to continue, but you shook your head.
âI wasnât supposed to tell you like this,â You said and buried your face in his chest, as he instinctively wrapped his arms around you.
âTell me what, baby?â He asked and you sighed, before looking deep into his eyes.
âIâm pregnant.â You said and his eyes widened.
âF-for real? Y-youâre really p-pregnant?â a huge smile hovered his face when he saw you nod.
âWEâRE PREGNANT! WEâRE PREGNANT! WE ARE GONNA HAVE A BABY! WEâRE PREGNANT!â He yelled at the top of his lungs, making the rest of the team turn to look at you.
âARE YOU SERIOUS?â Changbin asked and pushed Han who was standing next to him.
âDude why arenât you excited? THEYâRE PREGNANT!â he yelled making him and you chuckle.
âJisung knew,â you said and Minho gasped. âHe knew before me?â
âIâm sorry, babyâ you said and tried to kiss his cheek but he avoided it.
Suddenly you were stolen from Minhoâs arms, an excited Changbin twirling you around.
âOh my god, I wanna be the godfather! Iâm going to spoil this kid. Iâll be the cool godfather that will bring it many presents and they will be so cool because theyâll be just like me!â He rambled and you begged for him to put you down.
âChangbin you idiot, donât twirl her around like this, she is a pregnant woman now.â Seungmin said and Changbin apologized to you, placing you down.
âCongratulations (y/n)â Chan said and hugged you, before hugging Minho and congratulating him too.
Jeongin engulfed you in a big hug too, waddling from side to side, making you chuckle as he whispered âIâll be a better godfather than Changbin-hyung, keep this in mind,â
âI heard that you little shit!â Changbin yelled making everyone laugh.

âWas everyone planning to ever tell me or did I have to overhear it while I was on the phone with Hyunjin?â Felix whined when you all came back to your offices, making you chuckled when he hugged you.
âIâll be the coolest godfather, I-â He started but Minho cut him off.
âEnough with the godfathers. Literally everyone has already offered.â
âI told (y/n) first!â Jisung whined.
âI havenât offered to be the godfather!â Seungmin exclaimed.
âCongratulations! Youâre the godfather,â Minho said making everyone else whine.
[2:25 AM]
The fresh bedsheets are cold but your skin is burning hot, cheeks flushed and tear stained. Normally, this would be a happy ending. The night would stop here, the day would come, you would go and Minho would pretend it didn't happen until the next time it did.
That was okay with you, it made things easier. You didn't want him to act any different for your sake; both of you agreed to this arrangement, and there were clear rules set out in bold text, underlined in red.
There were lines there so you would not cross them, and yet here you are. In his bed, staring up at the ceiling with an ache in your chest from your heavy heart, weighed down with unwanted thoughts and feelings.
His soft snoring echoes throughout the otherwise silent room, and it makes the walls seem taller and the distance between your bodies that much larger. It makes you feel vunerable. It makes you feel weak.
How could you have let it get to this point? You knew before you went into this that it could never go too far. The deal was there would be no strings attached, and you could leave whenever you felt like it.
Except you couldn't. You wanted to leave, wanted to tell him this deal wasn't working and you needed more, you needed him. You wanted nothing more than to be spending these nights cuddling instead of drowning your stupid feelings in a couple shots of whatever cheap liquor was in your glass and pretending you were only in love with his body.
More tears fall, dripping against his pillowcase.
You wish your feelings would do the same, just drip away until there's nothing left, but instead your mind feels full to the brim with 'what if's that you know are all painfully pointless. He doesn't feel the same. He doesn't care, he'll never care, it doesn't even matter...but what if-
"Y/N?" Minho's sleepy voice breaks you out of your thoughts, an arm reaching blindly towards your curled up figure to pull you against him. "Why are you still awake?"
You don't trust your voice enough to give a proper response right now, so you simply hum and let him hold you like it means anything to him.
He doesn't seem to mind, though, drifting off to sleep again minutes later.
His arms are wrapped around you and his body is so warm, but you've never felt colder in your life.
