Hakai - Permanently Destroy Someone’s Influence Over You

As a note, this is the first fully fledged spell I’ve ever written, and while I wouldn’t consider my usage of it a curse or particularly baleful, it could be utilized that way, and thus caution is advised. With the wrong intent, this spell could be devastating.  It could also easily be used to bring a person’s life crashing around them. Use it with care, and use it responsibly.

I created this spell with the intent of completely obliterating the hold over me held by someone extremely toxic. They have been making my life miserable and I didn’t know what I could do to escape their influence and be free of them. I’ve been on a Dragonball kick recently, and was inspired by Lord Beerus (also a member of my PC pantheon). 

Requirements: - A picture of the person, place, or object whom you wish to break the influence of. You may also write down any feelings, or a particular situation that you wish to perform the spell on.

- A means to destroy the image/paper/object. I burned mine. You want to obliterate it as thoroughly as you can, but you can use whatever method is best suited to you. 

Ground yourself before beginning your spell, in whatever way works best for you. You want to be clear when you cast. This is not a time to put your anger into the spell, this is a time for clarity.

Set up your space, cast your circle, or do whatever your normal routine is for casting. Place the object of your intent in front of you, and focus on it, focus on the hold this person (or whatever it may be) has over you, on the strings they pull in your life. Hold your dominant hand up, palm out, and with intent, with meaning, command the word. “Hakai.” Destroy. Destroy the object, watch as it is obliterated and feel its influence loosening on you. You may repeat the incantation if you feel you need to. Visualize puppet strings snapping, if you wish, or simply imagine what your life will be like without this weight hanging over you. Focus on what freedom from this influence will be like. Once the object is thoroughly destroyed, dispose of the remains. Let the ashes fly away in a breeze, bury the remains, flush them down the toilet, throw them away into an outside trash can, whatever you wish. I like to scatter the ashes, as, to me, it is more symbolic of releasing the hold, and returning the energy back to the universe.

This spell could also be used to break someone/thing’s influence over someone else. Tie a string between an image of the person being affected, and the person causing harm, and as you speak the words, cut the string, and destroy and dispose of it with the remains of the picture of the person causing harm. Keep the picture of the person you are freeing.

Hopefully this spell was clear enough and someone finds it helpful. It has relieved such a weight off of my shoulders. I feel so liberated and feel truly free of the toxic person’s harmful energy. I hope someone else in a similar situation might be inspired by this spell and find a way to free themselves as well.

Devotion Candles

a big part of my craft is my altar which is dedicated to the sun, moon, & the 4 elements.

2 things on my altar are candles for the sun & moon. this past week i charged the two candles with different intentions that remind me of the sun & moon, respectively.

now without further a do, here’s the “recipe” for both candles:

Protection Sun Candle

Ingredients:

gold candle

black candle

spiritual protection water (includes basil)

lavender essential oil (for my anxiety)

juniper

something to carve with

Directions:

take your gold candle & the protection water & lavender oil. rub both of these on your candle thinking & having the intention of “every time this candle burns, i am protected by the suns light & energy”

now take your juniper & either put it on the candle or around the candle wherever you choose to put it.

carve protection & anxiety relieving sigils, words, runes, &/or etc.

light your black candle & drip it around/on your gold candle.

speak/think about your intention through the making of this candle.

Self Love & Healing Moon Candle

Ingredients:

blue salt

pink candle

white candle

tea tree oil

rose water

something to carve with

Directions:

take your white candle & the tea tree oil & rose water. rub these on the white candle while thinking of your intention, “while this candle is lit i am healing & loving myself.”

now take your blue salt & put it on/around your candle.

& carve your healing & self love sigils, words, &/or runes.

light your pink candle & drip it around/on the white candle.

speak/think about your intention throughout the making of this candle.

protection spell jar

ingredients:

juniper (for protection, love, health, & anti-theft)

angelica root (for protection & grounding)

himalayan pink salt (for self love)

full moon water (i used taurus full moon water)

the sun incense (for cleansing & protection)

bay leaves

blue & black candles

cauldron (fire proof)

incense ash

protection water

black salt

lavender essential oil (optional, just connected to me the most)

representation of the person you’re protecting (i used a couple strands of my hair. you could use hair or write their name, etc. it’s up to you! whatever feels right.)

directions:

write your name/the individuals name, protection runes/sigils, and intentions all on a bay leaf.

proceed to burn said bay leaf in order to activate/charge it & put it in your jar.

then light your incense & cleanse your jar

now combine all of your herbs, essential oils, & waters into the jar

seal your jar with the blue & black candle wax

finish off your spell with: “this jar will protect me & bring self-love into my life. so mote it be.”

devotion candles

happy new year witches & friends!! tonight i decided to make some new candles for my altar & dedicate them to the sun & moon.

super simple spell & easy for baby witches who wanna decorate candles with different intentions!!

i carved different runes with my intentions into the candles. (you can use sigils too, i just personally prefer runes).

then i sealed the candles with different colored wax that matched my intentions.

All Eyes On Me Spell

(A spell to draw attention to yourself for interviews, performances, meetings, really anything where you need charisma and people's attention)

Components:

One limestone rock

Glitter if wanted

Spell:

Hold limestone in hand and repeat "All Eyes On Me" three times. Use glitter for an extra boost of confidence and charisma. (I use glitter eyeshadow for this part)
