I mean EVERYONE btw. I’m talking Al just scooping him up under one arm and walking off while Grant yells at him. Roy, Bart, and later Tommy tossing him over a shoulder to get a reaction or haul tail out of a situation. Jesse re-enacting the “do I weigh anything to you?” meme. Reuniting with a Lian who’s almost as tall as him.
You know they really missed out not making Grant a shorty like his father. It could have really emphasized his vulnerability and age; I like to imagine being him in the same “everyone looks at him and sees his dead parent” boat as Dinah II…
…Most importantly I love them idea of people just picking him up and carrying places :]
Anyway, I think Al heard about Grant and tracked him down to “talk things over” offscreen. It’s all very awkward but sweet, and Al talks him into coming over to his mother’s for dinner. This becomes a habit.
Obviously we see a lot of on- screen conflict between the two because of how their angsty character arcs overlapped but I also think that they have that cantankerous, bickering sibling relationship- wrestling on the floor over the last slice of pizza, getting into ‘is water wet’ style arguments, generally antagonizing eachother

I do think that there’s some dual sided tension over Al Pratt because like. Al got to know and love him as a father Grant is connected to the man in a way Al isn’t etc. They both know they’re being unfair to the other with these resentments but you can’t logic emotions :(

DC is really gonna give me breadcrumbs of Grant and Al’s “brotherly relationship” without anything of substance huh. Guess that’s my job now.

I know it's a little late,I was going to paint it in 2022's Xmas but I've been so busy at work recently...SO...it goes!
I had chosen Customs I likes.I know they aren't in the same period,but it's cute!!!
I chose the Costume of Atom smasherjust because Nuklon is hard to draw and make Al look very cute.<3
