Clarinet:

My head was in the sand as soon as they pulled out a piccolo. We don't even have one in the band so I just avoid it.

I did not get to doot an oboe. My teacher did not turn up. I waited for twenty-five minutes.
From last week. Please keep in mind that I've only had one lesson on the oboe, and couldn't make a sound out of it at that point, this is about two months later, when I wanted to try again. I have my instrumental lesson tmr, so I'm having another lesson. Yeee. I ended up (obv. not in the video) playing C, A, B and G very badly last week. Proud of myself. I made a noise out of it this time. -LilFlute

What's the difference between reeds? Is there different levels for reeds? Is it like a clarinet reed, where theres 1, 1 and a half, 2, 2 and a half ect? What's the easiest reed to play on? What's a good brand to buy reeds from?
I'm so lost, and these reeds don't look too good (split and chipped in multiple places)
