Piggy: The secret to life is to always use more spinach and less rice than you think you’ll need.
Ralph: The second secret to life is that fresh air, warm sun and a cup of tea will make your problems small enough to start handling.
Jack: The third secret to life is that sometimes violence really is the answer.

I know that meme was popular in the fandom like two months ago, but I don't care.🫰

LOTFTOBER DAY 4: UNDERRATED CHARACTER

Piggy is so criminally underrated in the fandom and that's a fact.
He is such an interesting character and we should be taking my son into consideration a lot more😤😤

For the ask meme, how about 5 for Ralph and 12 for Piggy/Peter?
Thank you, I don’t talk about these two enough- maybe I should write something about Peter! (I definitely will take suggestions)
Even though it’s more subtle, Ralph’s home life sounds just- bleak? I don’t know why but hearing how he describes it, it feels more bittersweet and less longing than you would think of from a boy who’s been stuck on an island for months. It just makes me sad for him :[
AND OH BOY- I honestly love how (for the most part) we keep Peter just as smart as he is, and deserves to be. I see characters dumbed down for punchlines, but if anyone should be dumbed down for that, we should just use the airhead of a protagonist we have (/aff). Peter can be a smart-ass, but that’s literally the point, he’s smarter than the other boys but not as physically capable. I just love that he stays true through most things I’ve read, but some people don’t keep him true to his character, and I loathe them. (/hj 😒)
