Hello! Yet again, I’m working on an OC that I will likely never use for anything once I finish him.
He’s based on the prompt “Half Gargoyle” and this is the first sketch I’ve done of him so far. I’ll probably spend some time today working on a few other designs for him, and at least one full body sketch.
He currently needs:

For those who don't follow me, this is Aust, my pc for a Curse of Strahd campaign run by one of my friends. Of course I finished this after the first session, but I can now move forward with the rest of the pcs!
The rest of the party includes: a (drunk) dragonborn wizard, a plague doctor themed sorcerer, and a satyr fighter.

Design/Character Notes:
A number of changes were made from his original portrait, mostly in the colors of his skin and scarf, but it was done to have stronger values and contrast around the face and glasses.
As he is a dark elf, I feel obligated to give him sunglasses and as many spiderweb details as possible.
His armor and robes are designed with travel in mind, rather than combat. Most of his abilities are for general utility or healing, so he likely won't be on the front lines often.
He's now level two, and his Wild Shape forms include a spider, giant wolf spider, and mastiff.

Through the night
“But but.. as a live specimen she would be an invaluable asset!”
“Too dangerous, the moment it escapes..”
“How could she? You CHAINED her and confined her in this place no one knows about!”
“Don’t underestimate the connections it was able to build up this year. You know very well as I do that every single ghoul here would turn this place upside down and start a riot to find and free it!”
Oh just yesterday you all were calling me by my name and now I became “it”…
That’s it, they’re signing my death sentence, despite many of them wanting me alive. Many? Probably, but none of them could make much of a difference. Would I want to live like this though? Hell no. I caught a glimpse of my new form and it’s been more than enough. I thought the monstrosity who cursed me finally showed up.
“The connections you speak of I call them FRIENDSHIPS, a concept you’re probably unfamiliar with…” footsteps fading
They’re gone. At last! Go debate somewhere else.
Pity that window is but a small rectangle up there, I would have loved to breath in the scenery one last time.

Did I fall asleep? Was I dozing off? It looks a bit darker.
Your eyes, your loving gaze, your warm breath grazing my skin once again.. what I’d give to see you one last time. No, not like this. I’ll make do with my memories.

One by one I’m thinking about all of you. Those who accepted me from the start, making me feel like family, those who took their time, those who gave a hard time. It felt good nonetheless. Despite everything. I felt at home, I haven’t had a real one for so long I almost forgot. That’s why after the initial shock I didn’t actually want to be anywhere else.

It’s dark outside. Are you sleeping? Are you still awake? You won’t probably have classes tomorrow so you don’t really have to worry about losing sleep tonight. Perhaps you’re thinking about me too, wondering why I didn’t show up for so long and I even stopped reading your messages. Please don’t think you were just a meaningless fling for me. You have been everything to me. Please don’t be the one they’ll send..

Dawn has come. They’ll probably be here soon. If it’s someone I know.. someone I care about.. I don’t know.. I’m still me and literally nothing has changed besides my appearance.

Chains clinging as I stand up ready to welcome your touch, dearest Reaper. I feel awful for you but selfishly I’m glad you’ll be the one taking my hand on this last trip.
You’re wavering but close enough: in an instant I’m whispering my gratitude and my last goodbye, my lips brushing your pale cheek, regretting being tied and unable to hug you my friend.
Feeling lulled to sleep everything fades to black. Oh Rui, even when taking a life you’re not able to hurt others…

Ok I have way too many character ideas for my next campaign so ima put the best 4 out here and see if I can get further suggestions in which is best or interesting ideas for any of them backstory or build wise.
None of them have names feel free to make suggestions on that too

Idea 1
Emerald gem dragonborn bear totem barbarian for all resistances with the tough feat and sentinel so know one can escape him. HTTYD theme backstory of being a Viking Dragon
Bugbear gloomstalker ranger invisibly attacking form the shadows while being unable to be hit back due to reach while being useen so the enemy's don't know they can't hit back. Is a cartographer trying to uncover maps to a secret vault containing the treasure of a dead goblin god. With a One peice inspired backstory.
Levistus teifling wizard fighter multiclass using abjuration wizard sheild to extend armour of agathys while using fighter levels to be good in melee. War caster feat for weapon casting and eldritch innitate armour of shadows for unlimited wizard sheild refill. Double rumplestiltskin situation leads to neither parents deal maker getting his soul. Instead has chaotic good fey and lawful evil devil who sit on his shoulders giving him advice.
Tabaxxi warlock rogue multiclass pact of the deep superspeed in water + bonus action dash+tabaxxi double speed = insane movement. spell sniper and mobile feat. Feat Doubled eledretch spear means he has 600ft attack range which with his insane speed makes the ultimate hit'n run fighter. Backstory? No idea...haven't thought of one yet.

So I drew my new PC for our campaign, Voxalto Listra. He is a Muscle wizard, Swolbold in jorts and a tailbag. Also the little thing in the bottom is a digital signature my friends told me to use, I came up with it a while ago.
