“Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity.”
1 Timothy 5:1-2
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.”
1 Timothy 4:12
A few things I am noticing.
I decided a few days ago, to help me discover about myself as a Wiccan, Witch and as a Person, to begin my Wiccan collection with things that I am simply attracted to, then as I receive them I catalog them and write about them in my BOS. I started my collection with three simple things; Rose quartz, Amethyst, and dried Lavender Flowers. These three things I have Always been attracted to even as a young child. As I wrote about them a few things became an obvious trend; Love, Protection, Peace, Purity, and Healing. This rang so true I nearly began to cry. These are things that I search for in my everyday life, these are needs that I crave, these are also things that I felt were lacking in my childhood and young adult life, and only recently have I begun feeling these things as I rebuild my life with my Fiance and my child. I am so very happy to welcome these three magical items into my house and life. These things will be treasured and loved and given a special place in my life and alter.
Rose Quartz, Amethyst, and Lavender, you are welcome as you bring, peace, love, safety, purity, and healing.
I just backed Purity: A Post-Yaoi Anthology. If you’re a yaoi fan or a former yaoi fan, you might want to consider doing the same. It looks pretty fabulous and gives artists with a shared history of reading yaoi comics a chance to explore the influence of that history on their artwork. And lest that scare you away, let me just add that the description clearly states that the comic will not include non-con, shota or, it seems, any of the problematic stuff that make most yaoi so exasperating for some of us. Looks promising!
Good Design Is as Little Design as Possible: Less, but better – because it concentrates on the essential aspects, and the products are not burdened with non-essentials. Back to purity, back to simplicity.

Occasionally, I find myself letting out a bit more of my roots than I care to mention...
