Larry didn't need to be high to be quiet. He could just listen to his music. He could be painting. Or he could just stare into the void while a maelstrom of thoughts invaded his mind. He liked to isolate himself in the treehouse for these kind of moments. But you liked to bother him.
“Hey Larry-bear !”
He heard you voice coming from the feet of the tree. But he didn't move. He knew you would soon join him. He heard you yapping down the tree and a chuckle escaped his lips when he heard you grunting as you climbed the tree.
“Damn you need to change those planks !” he heard you grumbling. “I swear those are older than Mrs. Rosenberg !”
He finally saw your head emerge from the tree house entrance as you dramatically gasped for air. You beamed when you saw him, sat in a corner.
“Yo !” you raised your hand and Larry raised an eyebrow when he saw the plastic bag in your grip. “I've got snacks ! Want some ?”
You did not wait for his answer. You immediately joined him against the wall of the tree house.
“Paninis are still hot, Larry-bear,” you handed him one of the said 'paninis'. “Careful with your tongue.”
You handed him a can of soda (his favorite) then proceed to bite in your snack. Larry silently watched you do before biting in his panini.
“Fu—”
“Told ya, silly bear !” you snorted as you quickly opened his can and he immediately chugged it down.
You leaned your head on his shoulder as you kept eating. You shared his silence but chased away his thoughts like the sun scoffing at the thunderclouds. You grabbed his hand and intertwined your fingers. A soft sigh escaped your lips as your thumb caressed the back of his hand.
“Next time you let yourself beaten by your own thoughts without me knowing, I'll choke you with your own hair, Rapunzel,” you murmured.
He snorted at your words but nodded.
“Noted.”
As long as you were there, his thoughts didn't stand a chance.

Before you know it, you're not just sneaking glances. you're just full-on staring at him
And he knows. He lowkey finds it funny. Because with him, he doesn't try. He's not gonna try and get you flustered. It just happens and he's aware of it
He looks at you still playing, and he smiles at you. Just for a moment before looking back down at his guitar. And at that point, you're done.
You set down the gear boy without a word creeping towards him silently. He sees you but keeps trying to figure out the riff in the song just right
You creep up to his side, careful not to knock the neck of the guitar as you wrap your arms around his neck lazily.
"It sounds really good, baby. I think you almost got it." You compliment resting your chin on his shoulder
"Thanks, I think I've got it down pretty good. I just gotta get better with the timing. I'm holding the notes too long." He says before leaning forward to set the instrument against the dresser.
In a couple seconds, you find yourself weasling your way into his lap.
He holds you gently but firmly in place with one hand on your hip and the other on the back of your head tangled sweetly in your hair.
He's not really grabby. Of course, his hands will roam a bit, but he's more of a hold you in place, so you don't wanna go anywhere, guy.

And I say he's clean, but he is also a little messy. There is a difference.
When it comes to his room and stuff, it's very loosely organized. like his art area is a little cluttered, but you won't like to find video games mixed in. it's just art supplies. The same goes for his video game. You're not gonna find his bong posted up with the Nintendo 64.
Unless y'all are smoking while playing games, but as soon as y'all are done, he's putting everything in its respected area.

He also insults his friends for shits and giggles. But it's fine cause they normally hit him back. Unless he was feeling creative that day in which they just gotta look at him and go "damnn. Wtf dude." And then laugh it off.

Speaking of Warrent
He's one of those metalheads that almost refuses to listen to other genres other than death or black metal, but he does secretly be linking some 80s shit.
You know how I mentioned Warrant. Yeah, he secretly loves those guys. His favorite song by them is low-key Uncle Tom's Cabin cause he loves the story it's telling. It is generic, but it's a good song, so you can't judge.
He's also not a big Mayhem fan. Which is surprising. I feel like he finds them underwhelming, and he's just not a fan of them as people.
I'm going down a bit of a different path, though.
His sleep schedule is absolutely positive F.U.C.K.E.D. and what does that spell. FUCKED.
This dude can not get to bed at a decent time. Tell me why this fucker is waking up at 11 am and going to bed at 3:30 am???
He's mostly up painting. especially if he's stressed out.
He uses painting as his damn therapy. He also likes to paint his dreams. Like, he'll dream up a cool-ass floating head, and he'll paint that shit.
But sometimes his paintings are a bit creepy, and they freak Lisa out.
Like she will avoid looking at those paintings in the eyes they just make her uneasy. But she still loves his other paintings
Moving on to school life.
He's not a bad guy. He just gets into trouble with teachers a lot.
Like I said, he has a smart mouth, and that gets him into arguments with some of the teachers sometimes
And sometimes with students. Like, he's a skinny fucker, but if you got a smart-ass mouth, you need to be able to throw a mean-ass punch.

Travis and Larry are the only notorious people who are known to talk shit and actually go through with it.
He stopped getting into a lot of shit after hanging with Sal more. Sals is more of a pacifist, especially in school, so Larry got better about getting into physical fights. But he and Sal will double-team a MF.
Like shit, they can be mean if they want to. Especially if they team up on somebody.
Fun fact: Larry doesn't have a driver's license. He kept failing his test cause of speeding, but does that stop him from driving??

Honestly, Sal is the best boyfriend ever, he’s always there for you and he always knows the perfect things to say when comforting you.
The two of you met because of ghosts and the whole cult thing while at high school
You were the more outspoken one out of the two of you since Sal was mostly against violence even when Travis was brought into the convo.
I can definitely see Sal being the first one to approach you, at least that’s what you thought
It all started when Sal started becoming increasingly interested in you to the point that Larry and even Ash started teasing and encouraging him to talk to you.
He was flustered and would occasionally stutter or say the wrong words out of nervousness however with luck, he managed to get your number.
It was hard not to fall for him, especially with how lovable he is
He’s so genuinely nice and actually cares for others.
Of course, you eventually see his face, and although he was neutral about it since he trusted you he was still a bit nervous.
Definitely warms his heart when you not only accept his face but also kiss it.
He flusters and stutters so badly afterwards.
Continuing from that, he’s definitely the type to tease lightheartedly
Definitely not in the beginning though
So when you first started teasing and provoking him, causing him to get super flustered
He usually wouldn’t know what to do except accept it, so imagine your surprise when he turns the tables one day and makes you a blushing mess.
Most times when you hang out, you usually hang at the apartments in his room, or when sals an adult you’d hang out in his room in the house
During these hang outs you’d usually just listen to music, or just to be in your presence
Most times it’s you cuddling and hugging Sal, and honestly he smells rlly good
Like I’m not even joking and when you mention this, he can’t help but laugh a bit and just tells you the same.
However, when you guys hang out with Larry (which is more often than not) you guys end up in more than sis situations 😭😭
Then Larry is all like “I’ll leave you guys at it” and leaves.

While you’re at high school ofc Travis has something to say, and if you’re a guy then he obviously calls you the f slur and a lot of homophobic nonsense
And if you’re a girl Travis still calls y’all homos in a negative way, and always says shit about you two
And I don't think I need to elaborate further about how Travis would probably hate crime you if you were non binary, gender-fluid or basically anything under the trans umbrella.
Larry, ash and Todd all get upset at Travis, and they always come to the both of your guys defense
And ofc sal is a bit lenient towards Travis, well only when Travis is talking shit about him
If Travis talks shit about you he’d be so mad
But ofc younger Sal is less violent and more open so he’d obvs be kinder
Anyway, we all know what happens at the apartments and if you live there.
Let’s just say it pains Sal so much to have to kill you
I mean him having to kill all the people he grew up w and the people he cares for is horrible but he knows he has to
However, if you don’t, we’ll let’s just say you know about the cult and why he did it
Still doesn’t stop you from trying to find a way for Sal to get a lower sentence and from trying to convince Ash about the truth
When Sal dies let’s just say you feel so alone
Of course you have ash by your side but it’s just horrible.
Eventually you’re the person that Sal would enter into and you’d then defeat the cult that way.
But let’s all pretend that they were able to defeat the cult w/o killing innocent tenants
Making Sal a free man
Well you and Sal would be together for a long time and if you ever choose to get married, we’ll he’s glad to be by your side.

It had been month since they started dating Sal. Months. They took things slow with him, not that he minded. Going slow was calming. But Sal wanted to know, why wouldn't they touch him?
"Do you think I'm ugly?" Sal asked, breaking the silence. Fumbling his mask between his fingers. They look up at him. "No, you're beautiful to me."
There was another long awkward silence.
"Then, why don't you.. want to touch me?" Sal couldn't even make eye contact with them. His voice, sounded like he was clearly hurt. Aching, even.
They laughed, it was strained. But they laughed. "Oh.. ummm." They couldn't think of the words. They felt as if they needed a explanation, not a sarcastic one at that.
They nervously fumbled with their fingers. "I love you so much, I thought you knew that!" They said, finally, trying to bluff their way out of this awkward feeling.
Sal looked at them blankly. Clearly seeing their bluff.
"If you don't think I'm deformed, then why won't you let me hold you?" Sal seemed set on holding his lover. He needed it.
They laughed it off, trying to ignore the nagging feeling. They felt a tug on their heartstrings, they hated Sal thinking he was not attractive. Yet, they were too frightened to even hold pinkies with the poor blue haired boy.
They bit the bullet.
Their pinky, slowly extended out to him. Gently holding his pinky with theirs. They couldn't bring themselves to be their usually cocky, arrogant self.
"I love you, ya know that?"

A soft hum escaped your lips as you tried to help Sal, helping him out with his bloody nose. The rag in your hands getting soiled with the crimson fluids.
You didn't understand why he did it. You found it reckless, from your point of view. Angering Travis... for what? That was the question looming over your head. Weighing down your thoughts.
You took another good look at Sal's face, a soft smile tugging at your lips. You seemed content whereas Sal was sobbing.
"What's wrong?" You cooed, wiping the tears off his face while his fingers fumbled with the straps of his prosthetic. Keeping that soft smile on your face.
"It's just.... you didn't scream... or get grossed out...." He mumbled, his voice strained from all his sobbing.
"Why would I? There's nothing wrong." You tried to help him regain some self confidence back, it maybe feeble, but you couldn't stand him thinking badly about his face.
You watched the faint freckles on the bridge of his nose scrunch up alongside the rest of his remaining nose skin.
"But... look at me! My ..... my face!" His adoring blue eyes seemed ready to cry again, well, one of them since one of his eyes were glass. And the nerves around the glass eye were damaged, making that eye unable to shed tears.
"Sal, you look handsome." Your hands cupped his cheeks, thumbs rubbing both the scarred and unscarred skin. Feeling the textures under your fingertips and his tears hitting them.
"I am...?" His tone wavering. He looked vulnerable and precious with his face cupped in your hands.
"You are." A bright smile beared on his features and the saddened look faded into nothingness. He hugged and held you close. With a cheeky grin on his face he spoke,
"Hum to me again, I love your voice."

Sal was laying in bed, his prosthetic long since tossed to the side of his bed. Swamped in a sea of clothes. His blue hair not in their usual pigtails, but messily draping over his head, as a result of not leaving his bed for days. Or- most of the weekend.
It was like since Friday, when his final class for the day concluded, he was just in this slump. It was noticible to all observing and looking in to his life.
A soft knock on his door, drew none to little reaction from the caccoon of warmth he's built for himself in his bed. His eyes not drifting up from his game boy.
"Sal? You in there? It's just me."
The voice spoke from behind the door. Though muffled, it was easily identifiable, it was them. One of Sal's favourite people, someone he trusted and relied on. (y/n).
He could build up the energy to leave his bundle of warmth, but, it was warm. Safe. His voice was dry, dry to the point of him trying to talk came out as a muffled squeek. A raspy murmer.
They slowly popped their head around the corner of the doorway, their eyes settling on his form. Tucked away under a mess of blankets and pillows. Like a little fort.
They slowly entered his room. Holding a object behind their back, causing Sal to furrow his brows, trying to process what they were holding.
They pulled the item, revealing a bunch of flowers, a anxious smile etched on his face.
'You brought me flowers?' Sal remarked, sitting up from his little pile of warmth.
'Well... yeah. I noticed you were sad.... so I wanted to make you smile.' They chuckled nervously, sheepishly rubbing the back of their neck.
