SCP 035 Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins Anna is shipped off to boarding school in Paris where she meets the super-charming Etienne, and that's when things get interesting. I was a squealing, giggly, mush-fest all the while through reading this book. Stephanie Perkins knows just how to turn a seemingly ordinary love story into an unputdownable read. SCP 040 Your Brain Needs a Hug: Life, Love, Mental Health, and Sandwiches Just the title of this book by Rae Earl makes us feel a little lighter. And we don’t know about you, but our brains could definitely use a hug right now. While the book is geared towards teens, we found Earl’s advice to be relevant for all ages — particularly for anyone who struggles with depression, anxiety, social media addiction, and self-esteem issues. TBH, pretty much anyone can benefit from this book! SCP 049 And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini And the Mountains Echoed is such an amazing and heartwarming read. It's about a pair of siblings that fate cruelly separates and then finally reunites. A must-read for its simple yet gripping narration and amiable characters. SCP 049-j The Red Notebook by Antoine Laurain This is a French romance novella, and basically a love letter to book lovers. There's mystery, romance, and some of the most beautifully crafted sentences and paragraphs I have ever read. The ending is so sweet, even though you wonder how you ever got there so soon. SCP 053 Lulu and the Rabbit Next Door by Hilary McKay Lulu and her cousin help their neighbor Arthur learn to love and care for his (neglected) rabbit. She doesn’t want her neighbor to feel bad so she writes the rabbit little notes with helpful gifts signed from her own pet rabbit named Thumper. It’s a kind way to show Arthur how to take care of his new pet SCP 073 HumanKind: Changing the World One Small Act At a Time Looking for heart-warming stories of kindness and compassion? HumanKind by Brad Aronson was made for you. But the book isn’t only full of uplifting stories that will move you to happy tears, it’s also packed with practical and actionable tips for how to be kinder in your everyday. One thing is for sure: after you put this book down, you’ll feel inspired to do something nice for someone else. And because of that, we think this is one of the best books on the planet! SCP 076 Do Unto Animals We absolutely DEVOURED this book by Tracey Stewart. Whether you’re looking for tips on how to better understand skunks and squirrels or read your pet’s body language, every page is full of compassionate wisdom about to treat animals in a way that they deserve. Also, the illustrations are absolutely beautiful — we nearly wanted to pet the pages because the animal drawings were so lovable. SCP 079 Walden (Henry David Thoreau) With the outdoorsman renaissance happening as we speak, it is nice to look back at one of the books that probably started it. Walden isn’t the bore you read back in middle school, it takes time to appreciate like a nice bottle of red. Thoreau’s masterpiece tackles so much while quietly nudging your brain into activity. It also makes you want to build a cabin SCP 096 Black Beauty by Anna Sewell Told from the perspective of the horse, this story is so beautifully written that it's easy to get lost in it's pages. I laughed and cried, as did my daughter when she read it. SCP 105 Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury Warm and fuzzy the whole way through, Dandelion Wine is by far the best story to make you feel good. Though I'm not the correct age to directly relate to the young adult story, I still felt the warm summer days and the wonder of it all. SCP 106 Catch-22 – Joseph Heller “War is hell,” is the old adage we all know, but Catch-22 looks to modify that a bit. Instead, war becomes super goddamn weird. The book follows a bomber squadron in the Second World War whose collective sanity is slowly being eroded by whatever passes for power. Throughout it all, the main character keeps trying to prove himself insane enough to be kicked out of the Navy, which is precisely why he can’t

be kicked out. Which is a catch 22 and yes, this is where the phrase comes from. It’s a great extrapolation of quirks and idiosyncrasies we see in day to day life, only this time, they’re affecting war SCP 134 (I know she don't have eyes . But there is a books for blind people) A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass A Mango-Shaped Space is about a 13-year-old girl with synesthesia (she can see, taste, and hear colors) and her journey in getting a diagnosis and accepting herself and all her differences. It's sort of a coming-of-age story, too. As someone with multiple chronic illnesses who has gone through the same process at the same age, this really was an incredible reading experience. One of my favorite quotes is "We all do the best we can, trying to keep all the balls in the air at once." I recommend it to everyone. SCP 173 Rabbit, Run (John Updike) The greatest mid-life crisis novel of all time doesn’t actually deal with a mid-life crisis at all. Harry “Rabbit” Angstrom is 26 when he decides to leave his wife and son for a new life. Of course, what that new life is, and what exactly he wants out of it isn’t clear to the reader or to Rabbit himself. It will strike a cord with all men who struggle with the idea of settling down. SCP 239 The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling SCP 682 THE WOLF AND THE WATCHMAN BY NIKLAS NATT OCH DAG If you're the kind of person that can't get enough of Scandi noir films, TV shows and literature, then Niklas Natt och Dag's The Wolf And The Watchman should be next on your reading list. Set in 18th-century Stockholm, this tale is as dark as it gets, following the titular watchman and a detective as they hunt down the killer behind a dismembered corpse that appears in a local pond. Halloween with SCPs part 1

Okay I know that I said that I'll write 4 chapter about Halloween , but I have no time for that and I combined 1 and half of 2 part . So enjoy . And I need to write 2 part and maybe 3 part if I can .

So he said that he may like it . It is true . He like Halloween . He like scary things . So yeah . A good Holiday !

Khahrakh like the fear . Heh . He'll just look in the window to scare some strangers . Try to make an excuse . Cuz some people will knock on your door and ask you about A F*ING DEMON IN YOUR WINDOW- . So get ready for that .

And . Costumes? Really . He won't . In fact he and 001 don't have a human form they both can be 2 m in tall , whenever they want . So he won't go anywhere . He can't put you in risk Y/n . And that's good . Very good . Am I right ?

Since he can't go . He'll give you a dagger that will get on fire(that won't hurt you or burn your clothes) when you take it in hands . Just like his sword . He want you to be save and not stressed . And if you'll stay at home he will watch you play or watch horror movies . Or Halloween specials . He is so supportive . You can even imagine . They really like it . So f*ing much . You know the spookiness and COSTUMES .They love the idea of wearing costumes . He can wear any costume . He can be jester , undead , murderer and etc. IT'S SO AMAZING HOLIDAY ! And you cannot change my mind .

And they are pretty scary . Especially if mad . You know . Aaaand she like scaring kids . You can't change my mind again . He just likes the fear .

And I already said that they can dress as anybody they want guys . So yeah

About candy and sweets . They like the taste of sweetness , really much . They don't have favorite candy they like ALL . No really .

He's fine with this Holliday . He can still wear his usual clothes . And no one will look at him like he's a weirdo , so that's the plus of Halloween .

He don't like if he scare the kids . Already the D class , scientists and some guard afraid of him . And he likes kids .

He's really new with candy . They are pretty good . He don't need to eat , so he won't eat to many sweets . But I think he'll like chocolate . Maybe a peppermint or something .

No . He's not comfortable in wearing new things . They don't understand . Do he need to wear a costume ? Isn't he creepy enough for it ? Cause he think they is . And he's more comfortable in wearing his cloth every day (Yes , imagine that he have a clothes . K?). So they will just 'stare' at the costume that you offered him to wear . He'll probably write on paper thing like: 'What is that ? I don't want to wear it . It can be dangerous ' . Don't worry they trust you . But not the new things he see tho .

How the f- will he eat . Yes , they don't have a face , but still can make crying sounds . So what ? He's an anomaly . But really . And as I said they won't trust the candies . He's really aware of traitors and such things . So no ...

And they won't go outside and he want you to stay home . So that he know where are you and if you're safe or not . Or they'll start panicking .

(P.s. SCPs that are looking like animal/monstrous have the ring that can turn them in human . So yeah ) he hate being scared . 'Cause the 'King of mountains ' really scare him so much and Lanky have a bad memory about him . So please do NOT scare him ;-; . He'll get really sad . He don't like the others being scared especially kids . Just like 049 . So it's not really a good Holliday for him .

And maybe ... You can give him a costume of a 'Shy Guy' from Mario games if you want . Or ghost/mummy costume .

He's really f*ing new to other tastes . Well he's used to taste of human flesh . He thinks that candies taste good and amazing ! But it's really strange for him .

And he want to stay home . He don't like people . he have a little phobia of people . They can scare Lanky . Poor guy .

She still knows about Halloween . And she like it . Iris still have those memories with her family in Halloween . And now she'll have one with you !

She can scare by accident few people . Not really much .

Cause Iris will wear a cat onesie . If you want to wear a cat onesie too . WHEN IT'S AMAZING IDEA BESTIE/BAE ! Or you can wear something matching . She'll like it . But still you can wear what you want .

... Like 079 he don't understand the meaning of Holidays . Like really much . He needs at least 10 times to explain the meaning of Halloween or other Holidays ... He'll understand . Only a little .

He like others being scared . Really much . You know Lawrence is Lawrence . He'll like this Holiday now . Really f*ing much . " You can not judge me Y/n . And you can't stop me neither . So don't look at me like I'm the only one crazy here. " . He stalked you so knows about you , not to much , but still . Be aware of him... He's everywhere .

And again he's like 079 he don't need to eat . And he can sense tastes . Cause he's a f*ing rotting corpse . So he don't care about candies/food . Even in his human form he can't really sense tastes , I mean he can , but it's hard . Really hard .

And probably his costume will be a soldier with a gas mask or something like that . He liked that time in war . Especially when he met the 'rot' . But, I'll keep that for headcanons about him . And he will be in Halloween . NEAR YOU and follow you almost everywhere . Good luck ! He can and will probably give you a heart attack . Maybe at first . Some of you can get used to stuff like that . Oh no ... Halloween . She can't go outside or she'll brake many electric things that people have . And she thinks that you're an anomaly why your electronic works ?(I'll explain that later) She would go , but her powers say : NO .

Would anyone be scared of her . No . They won't really see her . But if some saw her . They probably be like : Wow , how did she make that good costume with realistic horns , deer legs and ears . Or be like : IS THAT A MUTANT . OMG I NEED TO POST A PICTURE TO PROVE THAT THEY ARE REAL . But , some will be just : Eh idfc .

She don't need a costume . Really . But maybe wear a nun clothing . The real nun not the one that's- We don't talk about that in my nonholy server/books .

She tried some candies in her life . She's neutral to them . So yeah . Idk what to write . She can't go outside . Sadly to her . And happily too . People are strange and mean . Or just annoying . She's not talking about you reader . Don't worry .

Well they became a little family . How ? One day they just became neutral to each other . Yep they were tired of trying attacking each other . And were chatting a little . Accept 096 and 106 . You know to shy to talk and it's hard for him , his voice is to weak . And 106 is just a listener .

Even if they are a family Lanky is scared of Lawrence . Well he tortured them , so of course they would be scared . But they're more comfortable near 049 . And Mask is more talkative , so they'll be really uncomfortable near her .

049 is more like a parental figure . He's really caring towards others . Especially Lanky . You know . Like a dad (He is ... probably ). Also he sometimes think that Mask is an idiot . 50/50 chance that he'll call them an idiot . Oh and he's neutral to Lawrence .

106 is more by himself . He's in his pocket dimension . Or his cell . But he'll neutral to all of them .  I mean ALL of them . Even to 096 .  Non affectional , not really talkative .

And 035 is way more talkative that all of them . And friendly to 096 , but you know 096 is nervous about talking and too many affection towards him . Oh and as I wrote she annoys 049 . Poor doc . And they try to talk with 106 , but it ends up with 106 going to his dimension .

Headcanons about Human AU .

Okay so ... I thought about Human Au of SCP Foundation . And I couldn't think about it being : 

1 - Normal AU where SCPs are humans and have no powers and etc. 

AND 2 - ... the one where SCPs ARE humans . But like they have mental disorders or them being experimented on . You know like some kind of asylum or etc. AND WHY NOT WRITE SOME HEADCANONS ABOUT THIS AU ? Well about my 2nd thought .

And if you like want to imagine like you are in this AU , you are a worker in this asylum . Okay ? Cuz there would not be d-class or etc.

I'll start with - 035 . They are around 25-30 years old , she have killed someone . And he have a phycological disorder plus she's a great manipulator too . They call it charisma . Don't believe this mf .

Btw they are intersex(born with both male and female genitalia .)

About her look - They have a medium brownish red hair , really dark brown eyes and some freckles . Usually 'wears' a smile , but will have sad/angry look on his face depending on the situation . 

Can look nice and kind at first . But they want to befriend you so she can get out of asylum . But pretty much really talkative with other patients(SCPs) . And it will annoy some of them . 

049 is still calm . But , something in his mind tells him about the pestilence . The disease that he can only get rid of . Yeah , a schizophrenia . He didn't kill his family . He just killed someone . A neighbor to be exact . And tried to operate on them . That is why he's here . 

His appearance : less than medium length black hair and yes , amber eye color + some minor scars . (I almost forgot to write his age) Around 29-33 like Mask . Plus he's a doctor . He is . Trust me .

049-j is still 049's lil brother . And he's still strange guy even when he's human . Yeah another disorder , . He have PTSD . He once saw on TV how to perform surgeries , he was 6-7 at that time . And that's the start of his strange medical things . NICE . 

He looks like 049 . Short black hair , slightly pale amber eyes . He assure everyone that he's the best doctor ever ... And he killed his ex classmate by beating her throat with a boot . Hmmm where did that come from ? Btw he's 27 years old.

053 is a little girl . She is a worker's daughter . She really wanted to visit her parent job . And that's how she met 682 and others . She calmed him(Atanti aka 682) somehow . And wants to visit her new friends again . But her parent is scared of what might happen to Abby . 

Before I start hc about 073 and 076 here's info about them: Cain still tried to kill his brother , because of jealousy . And then he regretted his decisions . Well when Able tried to tell parents , some doctors and police about his brother . Their parents said that maybe Able had something in his mind that is making him hallucinate . Even Cain said that maybe it was someone else and Able was thinking bad about him . After sometime of him convincing to believe him(He was yelling at them to believe him and tried to punch Cain) . You probably know what happened . Boom . Some kind of lunatic with anger issues . So yeah . 

073 is still same looking without his metal arms and that mark on his forehead . 

076 like I said he's a 'lunatic' with anger issues . He hates people ... But not animals . He thinks that they are better than humans . He especially love sheep and lamb . And he and Cain are 24 years old .

079 is a fricking hacker . He was working at the asylum . But once 106 did escape his room and brutally killed a worker , 079 just laughed at that . Now they're a worker in question . And his mental stability needs to be checked . 

They have short split colored hair(black and white) and grey eyes . Has white skin with vitiligo . He's 44 years old .(Srr it's cannon . 079 was originally build in 1978 . So it means he's 44 now.)

About 096 . This poor fella have schizophrenia and they have to wear straight jacket so he won't hurt somebody or himself . They still don't like then people look at them and it's recommended not to look at him(his face) or he'll get frustrated . And probably hurt somebody . So they gave him a mask to wear , it is a relief for them .

He has albino like look . Naturally white hair , greyish blue colored eyes and ofc pale skin . They're around 26-27 years old .

106 is a creepy guy . He say that he was once in WW1 , but he died and was reborn in this new body that looks just like his old self . And he like gruesome things . What did you expect ? That's the 2nd reason he's in here . And he ofc attacked some people , well ... killed . A psychopath indeed . Do I need to say more about what he did ? 

Lawrence in his mid 30-40s . He have dark brown hair , white skin , blue eyes with one blind eye . He have some scars and needs to wear straight jacket too . Because he can use anything as a weapon .

173 a creepy sculptor . Well ... Was ones . Now a lunatic at asylum . Usually he'll try to draw something . It ends up messed up and creepy . 

A 30 year old guy with blonde short hair and green eyes. And a little bit tan skin with freckles . Usually he shows not a single expression . He's can move fast and prefer to move when no one's looking at him . Just as usual .

682 have naturally long really dark gray hair and golden colored eyes . And white skin . He have some scars . He's 28 years old . He have a little brother and surprisingly he tries and do visit Atanti . 

He have hate towards alive things . But he managed to be friends with 079 and Abby . He's aggressive and sometimes he needs to be cuffed/wear straight jacket . Or he'll hurt somebody really badly or worse ... Kill somebody , he is very strong for normal human .

999 is a worker's kid . He just visits his big bro (Atanti/682) . He have tan skin , ginger short fluffy hair and brown eyes . He's 10 years old . 

He's really friendly and innocent . He's not used to violence and etc. And he can make people smile , even sad people .

Idk what to write , cuz my motivation at the end of this hc just died .

Hey! based on the recent 096 thing,, what if you were immortal/immune to abnormal affects/effects? How would SCPs (such as 096, 106, 173, 049, and 035) react?

They both like and hate it. I mean if something happens to the host when they're near you, you'll just straight up put them on your face which WILL(probably) result to your death. And they do not want that to happen. And the bad thing... they can't read your mind properly(I mean they're probably interested and invested about what's happening in others life. It's the only good entertainment they can get in here).

Other than that, it's going to just adore you and your immunity to it. Like there weren't anyone who could look at it and not fall for their charm(manipulations), but look at you. Standing there alive and it's not even mad at you! Because it cares about you.

049

Oh it's not really a surprise to him, since there were and are some people that aren't afflicted with the pestilence(aren't dead from his touch). And he doesn't even need to lecture his cured patients about hurting you. They are always so docile with you, not getting rowdy. How convenient.

Before anything he does NOT want you to interact with many people(at all), since... what if they infect you? He won't like to see that, knowing that you're suffering from that wretched disease. But he can't exactly make you stay with him forever. He will hint and/or outright say that you need to stay away from certain people, however it's you decision to listen or not listen. You can make your own decisions. Even if that makes Doctor uncomfortable... with those 'intrusive' thoughts.

They are the calmest they have been in their entire existence, while someone looks at their face that is. And that does bring them some sort of comfort knowing that YOU of all creatures aren't going to die from their hands(unless some sort of accident happenS- WHO SAID THAT). The hands that killed too many.

And from those thoughts, the clinging begins. Knowing that you're 100% safe from being mutilated and turned into chunks of meat, they would want to spend a bit more time with you. Following, sitting or laying near you, anything. They are going to love it. The idea of listening to your heartbeat as a comfort thing is perfect for them. Whether they lay on you or you lay or rest on them(just don't forget to breathe).

Well That's not interesting(for him). His sadistic side fucking hates it. On one hand he can just grab you and squeeze your neck until you stop moving. But on other hand he (likes)tolerates you enough to not do it. Even if everything in his body tells him to fucking do it. Watch as your little life is slowly taken away from your desperate hands.

He'll more often than not will mostly ignore your presence. Especially if in a room/hallway there's a person(really hurt, showing it or 10-25 year old) and YOU, he'll always choose to go after the first option. And there's a possibility that he bumps into you, it's probably not intentional(i mean do you expect this corpse to walk straight and not bump and hit into things/people?)

(173 doesn't really have anomalous effects somewhat similar to other 4. But the best i can go is this):

Having 173 practically ignoring your existence and still moving while you look is.. good? Well for you, that is. You can't help anyone else, it's just a cold lie that you can look while they try to get away or clean the cell.

If you want to know it's thoughts about it. Well I mean it's not often that it has any thoughts(Literally head empty). Thoughts that usually appear are how it's next target's face going to look like as they're getting closer and closer. Oh and how their 'resting' face is going to look like.

Going back to your immunity, it knows, kinda acknowledge your existence in it's own weird way. Like it won't push you and just go a different path if you're blocking- let's say a door way. Or if you want to help some poor soul from dying, by just standing in the corner and that person being behind you. And surprise, surprise 173 looses it's interest entirely. How thoughtful of it.
