In The Promised Neverland fandom, if someone ships Norman x Emma, it's cool. If someone ships Ray x Emma, that's okay too. But if someone dares to mention Ray x Norman, there comes an alud of "They're just children!" cries, even when the former two are children as well.

Because a girl and a boy being in love is cute, but two boys is gross and only for adults, apparently.

Maybe I don't hate your straight ship because it's straight. Maybe I hate it because it's employer x employee. Maybe you're a proshipper.
