yes, the porsche and porchay sibling relationship is lovely, but the tankhun, kinn, and kim interactions have a constant vibe of ‘i’d sell you to satan for one corn chip’ (but also, ‘if anyone put their hands on you, i’d use their vertebrae as a coat rack’) and as someone with multiple siblings, i can relate

Still thinking about brand new mutated Dad Splinter figuring out the dynamics between his children. It wasn't until I was lining some of this that I realized the unintentional angst in this cute comic, because Splinter seeing how distraught Leo and Donnie are at being separated would hit a little too close to home for him.
Forgot to post these here (and I have several more lil comics coming later too) but I have some sibling shenanigans based on @sha-biest’s adorable Chosen Family AU, where the boys and Splinter meet April and her mom Carol much earlier than in canon. They’ve each got their own way to say their big sister’s name as they learn to talk.

Me and my brothers are such a trio when watching Star Wars content lol
I am a very emotional consumer of sw media. I’m a writer, and will yell about plot and dialogue things. I’ve also read a lot of the books and am deeply a mandalorian nerd, to the point I’ve started mentally editing in or yelling mando’a at the screen.
brother no.1 is stubbornly clueless. He’s seen all of the live action sw content from watching it with the family, but doesn’t bother to remember details, and tends to tune out most Star Wars discussion. Will ask for clarification at the funniest moments, or the most intense ones.
brother no.2 is also a sw nerd. He’s deeeep into Jedi/sith lore, and knows probably too much about sw animation for his own good. He gets most of his information about sw legends from theory videos. Will whisper very obscure lore related things at the screen, then info dump once the episode was over.
I once asked brother no.2 if “deep into jedi and sith lore was accurate” and he asked if I knew what [obscure Sith Lord I can’t remember the name of]’s lightsaber’s kyber crystal was named.
I really wanted to draw the Kamisato siblings!
"Lunar's SECRET PLAN" Episode! (Me Gushing Over an LAES Episode)
MY GOD, I ADORED today's episode of the Lunar and Earth show. Dazzle being a helpful bean, Sun being a big brother (no pun intended), Earth being a goofball, Lunar being a lit--UH, I mean, fun-sized trickster grump, GIANTS IN THE DAYCARE--I LOVE IT!
And I thought Lunar and Earth helping Sun with his goose magic was funny! Earth's "sibling dynamic" line is so true. It's practically her catchphrase by now, but I sure ain't complainin'! :D
Lunar actually did fool me the first time he did the thing when they were by the ball pit. I didn't even realize he did it again before it became obvious. I'm around 5' 2'' years so I can relate to Lunar's frustration, but if we're small then WE ARE GOING TO BE PROUD OF IT, DAMMIT! And he DID have a bit of a sense of humor about it, mimicking the Jaws theme when in the ball pit after Earth pointed out that only the top of his head was visible.
And MY GOD, Sun/Happy Boy was SUCH a butt of a big brother. XD It was freaking funny how merciless he was with the teasing. I mean, he started it around less than one minute into the video! Maybe he was a bit mean, but he was genuinely apologetic when he thought he went too far.
It was nice that Sun was having a good day, joking and laughing. I mean, he was ACTUALLY laughing, not just wheezing or huffing a few times. I'm super proud of him. His problems and trauma aren't over, but he's still come a long way.
NOW FOR EARTH: I LOVE Earth's sense of humor. I love how hammy and silly she is, first was the whole "L-L-L-L-LUNAAAR~!" from the last laes lore episode, then today it was her "I have been learning PROOOGRAMMING!"
I wish I was half as confident as she is about putting the energy into the silliness. It's in my range of humor, and sometimes I can be hammy in front of others but I can also backtrack. I just get worried people think it's stupid instead of silly and that I'm being stupid. I just need people who I trust to really know me, I guess.
ANYWAY! BACK TO THE FUN STUFF!
I thought of a good nickname for Lunar: BLUEBERRY MOONCAKE!
If you don't know what a mooncake is... it's banned in several countries so that's understandable.
Finally Dazzle--sweet baby girl. She went from throwing a toy in Lunar's face because it was funny to offering to find that FREAKIN' DONUT THING, WHICH COULD'E BEEN LITERALLY ANYWHERE IN THAT WAREHOUSE-SIZED ROOM. She's definitely learning stuff from Sun, and he already trusts her enough to let her find it on her own. Yes he goes to help her at the end BUT YOU CAN'T DENY HOW CUTE THEIR BOND IS!
And now... quoting this genuinely wonderful exchange:
Lunar: I don't even know how I can hear you right now.
Earth: It's because I'm YELLING~!
Lunar: ...FAIR ENOUGH!
Earth: DID I HURT YOUR FEELINGS!?
Lunar: NO!

Yes to all of these, to add a few personal experiences as the youngest of many
-I am my brothers favorite. I know this because my sister once asked him to take her to Starbucks because she was his favorite sister so I shouted “IM his favorite sister” and he agreed with me
-the most random things said (our family ALSO made a cards against humanity: inside joke edition and we keep notes of weird things people say)
-I made an over dramatic post about my sister not returning my hand heart and like 3 months later she saw it and asked if it was about her
-one of my sisters and I have a very specific routine for getting ice cream and it’s always just the two of us at the same place
-I used to be obsessed with Singing in the Rain when I was younger and my dad named the gopher that eats our garden Pierre so whenever we see him we all start quoting the “Pierre you shouldn’t have come” scene
-when I mean obsessed I mean we were on a cross country road trip I made everyone in the car watch it back to back like 5 times and I’m the only one who didn’t get sick of it
-I shared a room with one sibling until I was 10 and she listened to Harry Potter every night to fall asleep, specifically book 7 disc 3 because it was the only one from that book without anything scary, now we both can recite that disc almost word for word
-one sibling went to see the American Girl Doll Revue and eventually passed the CD down to me. It’s been like 10 years and I can still sing the songs and everyone else in the family hates it. Addies story was scary.
Writing about siblings in an upcoming bit, and it got me thinking about sibling energy. So, share your favorite sibling energy, either from first-hand experience or fiction!
My current thoughts are “would start a fight at a family reunion if sibling got insulted”, “would prefer if no fights were had at the family reunion”, “always understands each other and could probably communicate solely in weird facial expressions”, and of course, “could give a half-hour PowerPoint about how awesome sibling is with ten minutes notice, and it would probably go over”.

Whatever happened to lawful distinguished siblings? What is wrong with considering your sibling your best friend and knowing they’re all you need? Or using your sweet sibling magic to make the world a better place? We need more sweet and harmonious siblings in this world. Think otherwise,and it will never end good for you.
