I’m writing this post to bring attention to Hadeel Mekki and her family (@hadeelmekki and @hadeelfamily) She, her husband Waseem, their daughters Mira and Nadia, as well as Hadeel’s two brothers and their mother are currently in Gaza.
Their gofundme has been verified by @90-ghost and they are aiming to raise €35,000.
They have broken this down by expenses:
Rafah/Egypt crossing: €5000 per person (a total of €25,000 for five adult family members)
€2,500 per child (a total of €5,000 for two children family members)
Minimum living costs: €5000
If you can, I implore you to donate even a few dollars to their cause.
