You can’t tell me the Gordons aren’t the favourite citizens of the Batfam. (Plus the rogues)

Dick, Steph and Cass after a long patrol night just throw rocks at Barbara’s apartment until she lets them in and together they watch a movie.

Jason (when he was still Robin) used to go to the library and he and Babs used to talk about theatre and literature and they still do it to this day. Only Jason can call Babs ‘Barbie’.

Tim and Babs are master hackers. Almost everything Tim knows about hacking was taught by Babs. He and Babs enjoy spending time playing online, hacking into governmental databases and especially trolling everyone else.

Jim has a soft spot for Cass as she is very quiet, gets the job done and actually pretty funny once you get to know her. Tim and Jim used to go out for coffee and chat. Jim dealt with Dick’s jokes but actually likes them on the inside.

Damian may not be as close to Babs, but whenever he and Babs talk, its usually about animals and Babs tells him about everyone before he joined. Damian thinks she is pretty strong both physically and emotionally.

He sure enjoys the Commissioner’s company too. He sneaks out of the house in his Robin costume and hangs out with Jim in his office and both of them talk shit about Batman.

Bruce used to babysit Babs when Jim couldn’t take care of her and used to enjoy it so much. Now he and Babs talk like siblings and asks Babs for advice. He also, just like Jason has his own nickname for her which is ‘Barb’.

Bruce in his Batman costume visits Jim regularly and they talk about those first missions and laugh about them. Also, he makes a party in honour of him every once in a year.

Duke and Jim are those people who don’t understand anything what’s going on and they bond over that. Duke, when he was little; wanted to join the Birds of Prey but then realised it was only women but BoP decided to let him join on special missions and only he has the permission to join them.

Alfred and Babs are the only ones who are sensible. They co-babysit the Batkids and they relate to each other and have fancy tea-parties (when the rest go for patrolling). They, along with Jason have cooking fests and competitions. As expected, Alfred comes first place, Jay second and Babs third, but they all cook such delicious food.

Kate and Babs regularly go for shopping together and both of them have flirted on many occasions.

Since Kate worked in the military, she and Jim discuss the weaponry and how they army implement s laws and stuff related to this (Idk I’m not good at these) and also Kate tells Jim about embarrassing memories Bruce did as a kid.

The Sirens, BoP & the rogues (except Joker) respect the both the Gordons so much. And if they commit a crime, one Gordon glare was enough to give them nightmares for a week.

Dick & Dinah both compete for Babs attention too.

Haper and Babs train a lot and gossip about everyone else. She, Babs, Tim & Luke are known as the ‘Tech Gang’ and hangout at Babs apartment.

9- Star Sapphire!Bruce tying up criminals and leaving a note for the cops that just has a pink heart on it

"Who the hell does this guy think he is?!" Gordon sighed, walking past the group of police cadets gathered around the small TV in the break room of GCPD.

Recently some lantern, not a green one apparently, had stopped by Gotham. Sightings of this "Pink Lantern" led the police to know 3 things;

1) They appeared to be male

2) They seemed to come out of nowhere, jumping out of the shadows (which is weird because of how bright the pink is)

3) They seem to have a connection and/or friendship with Batwoman

Of course, since crime never rests (except on Wednesdays and the 16th of every month, according to Harley), they got a call from the chemical plant just as Gordon sat down at his desk. This time it was only Riddler and Scarecrow, and while they can be dangerous, Jim had a feeling it wouldn't get too bad.

Arriving at the plant, James Gordon made a note to add a dollar to the "I'm right, again" jar when he got home. There, surrounded by vats of acids, were the two supervillains they were looking for.

Walking over, he mentally approved of the handiwork dine with the rope that tied the two up. Just as he was about to turn away, something caught Jim's eyes. A small note card, folded in half so it stood upright, with a bright pink heart drawn on it.

Gordon put this note in his desk drawer for safe keeping, adding 27 and counting as time goes on.

"So....do you draw the heart when you get there?...Or is there a couple tucked in your boot?" Kate asked her cousin as she took off her cowl. Bruce allowed the ring to get rid of his costume, shaking his head,

"I keep a drawer full of them in here. I think I need to restock soon too."

It started when Jim would come over after Martha and Thomas died. Bruce started to see Jim as a father figure and invited him over more and more.

One time Jim couldn't find anyone to babysit Babs, so, he took her to the manor.

Bruce's Big Bro Tingle started tingling the second Jim put his foot on the manor grounds.

So of course, now Jim had to take Babs with him everytime, I mean, who could say no to baby Brucie, he just wanted a little sister

Leaving Babs with Bruce also meant he could spent more time with Alfie

Soon Bruce and Alfred became the main "babysitters" for Barb.

Anyway on to the butlerdad:

Jim has a police mission or something, whatever he's up to these days

So Babs stays over night, the same night a charity gala happens to take place

At first everything is fine, Bruce is being the big brother he was born to be, Babs is a delight and Alfred thought it would be easy peasy

He was wrong

Not a second after he left them alone, shit hit the fan

Turns out Bruce and Babs should not be left alone because if there is any duo that should never share braincells, it's them

Alfred still doesn't know exactly what they did, but what he does know is that when he came back to check on them, they were gone and so were Mr. Kane's belt and socks

There was a frog in a lady's dress, people's socks were gone, someone's pants didn't have any stitches.

How they did all that without anyone noticing, is a miracle and a mystery Alfred is still trying to figure out. Especially the sock thing.

(Later when Jim came to pick Babs up, Bruce made sure both he and Alfie couldn't find them, so they had to look for them together. He just wants his dads to get it over with and have a kiss)

Bruce once invited Ollie and Lex to his gala and ended having a threesome bc they were drunk af.

Bruce once called Jim ‘uncle Jimmy’ and the whole of Gotham made fun of him for the next 6 months.

In Dick’s first gala, Barbara dared him to climb the chandelier and he ended breaking up the whole 1 million $ chandelier.

One Halloween gala, Bruce went out as the Bats and forgot he had planned a masquerade ball until Babs thru the comms said he had to go. He forgot to change his costume but no one really noticed because well it was a costume party.

There was a twitter discourse deciding if Bruce Wayne was Batman. Somehow that ended up being if Bruce wayne was dating Batman.

Bruce: (cradling Jason in his arms) it’s my baby.

Commissioner Gordon: He’s like 6’7 and 200 lbs, Not to mention a crime lord-

Bruce: baby.

Blood, rapidly cooling and sickeningly red, spreading like an oil spill in rapid waters. Gloved hands, one on the wound and and one on a cold cheek. Tears running down a daughter's face, and memories flashing behind a billionaires eyes.

"Although he's not with us now, I know he would want us to hold our heads high and continue towards the future he saw, not only for Gotham, but for our families, for ourselves."

Red and blue flashing lights, sirens, hat removed in respect. It was all a blur. Getting home, the next week of planning and mourning, the pity and sympathy. Getting up to speak at her father's funeral.

Walking over to the casket and placing her hand on the lid, closing her eyes, almost being able to feel his warm hands on her shoulders.

"I could go on for years about how great of a person Jim Gordon was, but I know others would like to share their experiences as well, so thank you, Gotham. For being here to celebrate a wonderful man's life cut short."

Sitting back down, grabbing her faux brothers hand and wiping her tears.

Jim Gordon, the good always die too soon.

I love it, it’s like they’re all Harry Potter newspapers! Actually I bet the editors of the Gotham Gazette and the Daily Prophet would get along fairly well. Well, the Gotham Gazette is probably a bit more accurate, but clearly they still love some sensationalism. Anyways, this is some very clever editing.

I can imagine an AU in which there is a crossover between Gotham and Chainsaw Man, in which almost all the members of the GCPD have various contracts with demons that help them fight the city's criminals. Oswald, being the bearer of the Bomb Devil, would plot a coup against Fish and kill her in the process, while Jim, having the contract with the Justice Devil, would use his strength to minimize the damage caused by the king of the criminal underworld.

Speaking of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse, I'd put in a few from the Legion of Horribles:
