My little werewolf community in the middle of Deadmoon Lakes
The twins Nora and Fenris are the founders. Their condition for joining is that you had to have been unfortunately savaged and turned into a werewolf and have no where to go. How kind of them?
Poor Berry did not think there would actually be werewolves in the old abandoned farmhouse that his friends dared him to enter...
At least Fenris and Nora are friendly and soon he actually started to adjust to life at the community. He is a knowledge sim so he feels like he's learning a lot about occult matters he didn't know about, especially once he found out here that there are also such thing as vampires...and apparently they're terrible and smelly!!
A few weeks later, Calendula arrived and Berry became quite fond of her. They also seem to both be messing around with others, but they feel a connection.

Sometimes they all take little trips to the coast for a change of scenery. Berry tried learning break dancing but didn't really get anywhere with it. So he went inside the beach bar an played a little bit of poker instead.
There was this creepy guy with scary eyebrows who kept going on about... finding a test subject, saying his old one had... escaped and asking Berry if he was interested. Berry politely declined... he got a bad feeling. There was also this greyish lady who absolutely stunk, like her skin was rotting away or something, maybe she had a disease? it was almost like she was a zombie. Good thing the game crashed and Berry was able to get out of there!
Nora also is starting to get a crush on a strange alien lady she met out on the day trip to the beach, she'd never seen anyone like her! then again, she is a human wolf so there's that...her name's Chloe Curious. She hopes Chloe feels the same way...Chloe even decided to come up to the mountains from her coastal getaway to see Nora again but is this just a one time thing?
Apparently she lives super far away, all the way out in the desert, a small town called "Strangetown". Berry mentioned he met someone creepy from there...Nora has her number so hopefully they'll keep in touch and maybe she can go down and visit her.
Meanwhile she and her brother have a community to help run. She can't just leave her friends, her job and all the dogs for a girl she just met.
I mean look at him <3 pups are Nora's real true love.

New Year's Eve Party crew at Downtown!
Jennail and Kvornan Tricou party crew with Gabriel Green, Chastity Gere and Mikeal Clayton with Virginia Thompson. They all live in Crowborough, but the party went wild in the different places of Downtown.
New Year's Eve Party with Rex and Danai!
New Year’s Eve Party in the house of Rex and Danai, they live in Bluewater Village, Old Town, but after some scandals they lost friends, so this special night they invited Cyd Roseland and his husband Jack Thompson along with best friends Rick Contrary and Violet Jocque, it was a wonderful party with zero drama and the best new friends that Rex and Danai will dream of.

Okay. This is about to be a LONG post because I’m hella passionate about this project. Let’s go.
This was my heartfelt attempt at recreating the average Zimbabwean rural compound/homestead, complete with the new house that usually accompanies the traditional huts.
To clarify: nowadays, most of the Zimbabwean population lives in modern cities with modern homes. Had to put this out there to shut down the silly misconception that we still live in mud huts and that we’re stuck in the past or whatever. We keep these rural homes and communities as a way to honour and cherish our roots.
Moving on,
I used a minimal amount of cc (which is why the decorations are a bit sparse in some places) because I found most of what I needed in the vanilla game, plus I just didn’t want to spend too long looking for extra props. I needed to get this done while I still had the vision.
This lot is going to be part of my custom vacation world that I named Kumusha, which is what we say to refer to our ancestral homeland in Shona, my native language. It’s all part of an even bigger hood that I want to model after what I grew up around in Harare. They won’t be exact replicas but they’ll be heavily inspired.
I’ve always adored my identity as a Zimbabwean girl. Moving abroad has deepened my desire to represent my culture and my nation as best as I can, because I don’t see a lot of that positive representation going for us on a more global front. I know for a fact that I’m not the only Zimbabwean who enjoys the Sims thoroughly, so I hope that eventually these efforts will call others who are like me and provide a sense of kinship and familiarity.
I hope to soon share my vision through gameplay videos, but for now I’m just happy to do that here. Of course any non-Zimbabwean simmers who like this sort of thing are welcome to embrace the vision too :)
a birthday shoot, shameless slander, and a peeping tom. Man, what a weekend the girls have had.
Started off great with a night at the media studio for Chenai’s birthday shoot. The girlies got all prettied up and had themselves a good time trying out the newest photo hub in town.
Looked like the night ended on a perfect note. That is, until Marie and Batsi started with their cliquey act again…
Like she’s right there you guys. At this rate Chenai might be considering new living arrangements. These girls can be so fake sometimes.
-Next Day-
Marie decided she’d go on a date with the new guy she met some weeks ago at a chill spot. What she didn’t expect though, was to get followed into the restroom literally 15 minutes into the date…
Our girl was NOT having it.
Told him off and the creep had the nerve to try and downplay it, talking about some “wE’rE bOtH rOmAnCe SiMs So I kNoW yOu WaNtEd iT” like ??? Sir?? Goodbye. Date immediately cancelled. He’s lucky she didn’t call the police. She was just too shocked.

So I never did character intros bc I hated the first batch of screenshots I got for this household which means I’m posting in the middle of the story. Nonetheless I’ll still give a brief description of each girl:
Chenai, the one in red. - she’s supposed to be my main sim for this storyline. She’s freshly graduated from uni with a physics degree and no sensible job prospects. So far she’s in education but she’s only there for the money. She wants to save and get her home place since right now she’s renting a cheap dorm with 2 other girls. She’s tried to be friends with them and on the surface they seem to get along, it’s just that those two tend to exclude her sometimes and she’s not sure if she’s all about that flaky business. She’s evil, a tinkerer, and unstable.
Marie, the one in blue. Nobody knows where she came from; but rumour has it she’s some D-list celebrity’s secret child and she’s trying to climb the ranks to make a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Currently in the slacker career she’s well on her way but shows no signs of talent or unique skill that would make her stand out. The most she’s got going for her rn is her charisma and good looks. She’s found a best friend in Batsi, though no one can figure out why they get along since they couldn’t be any further from each other personality-wise. Marie is a diva, coward, and has a green thumb.
Batsirai AKA Batsi, the one in pink. Batsi had a harsh childhood that set her up to join the military as soon as she turned 18. She’s often perceived as abrasive and intimidating because of her resting expression and aversion to speaking unless she likes you. As she rapidly advances through her military career, Batsi begins to wonder what the next step will be for her with 24 on the horizon. She’s been wanting to start dating since she never had the luxury as a teenager. But it’s hard when you’ve got her reputation and the men around you are all so beneath her standard. In the meantime, she embraces and enjoys the bond she has with Marie. She likes Chenai too, but that girl tends to keep to herself too much so it’s hard to stay close. Batsi is an angler, absent minded, and has commitment issues.
Now that I’ve given a bio for each girl I feel less depressed about my older screenshots of their household. Gonna dump ‘em here so that I can delete them finally.
Chenai looking for a job at 2 in the morning because she’s just gotta make it in life. She’s sitting in her cheap dorm room (only calling it that bc it’s too small to be an apartment).
Marie and Batsi in a club restroom on a spontaneous night out. Chenai was sleeping so they didn’t ask her to join.

Batsi having to deal with her co-worker’s unwelcome advances.
Aaand we’re all caught up. This is generally everything from the start.
Ah yes, almost forgot to upload what the ‘apartment’ building looks like.
I don’t actually have apartment life because I play Super Collection so I did my best. Also that (dura)wall around it is realistic to how properties in Harare are typically constructed. There’s always a durawall for privacy.
