2/3 Edwin and Charles swimwear designs.
Edwin- as he's from the Edwardian era I put him in a matching woollen shirt and shorts that was one of the typical swimwear outfits of the time, however with a slightly more modern drape. I put him in slip on loafers since I doubt he'd be comfortable with his toes out. Swimwear didn't have a lot of colors to offer back then, navy was quite standard.
Charles- Men's swimwear around the 80s looks basically the same as it does today, but a set of matching shirt and shorts was more popular than it is now. I was going to make the set orange but that clashed with his skin tone.

Honestly what's really interesting about this story too is yeah it's coming of age and a hero's journey, and Janner may be the main character but he isn't the chosen one! he's not the future king, his rash little brother is, and he's constantly struggling with "oh thank God" and "God I wish that were me"
It's just a very different perspective!
Like hey- what if the main character wasn't the chosen one but had to put up with an incorrigible one?
Especially when you have the actual future king saying the whole "I never wanted this I never wanted to be the chosen one" trope and poor Janner has to stand there like "Excuse me????" 😭
@confetti-cat yes, Bat-Cow is an actual character from the comics!
She first appeared during a mission that took place in a slaughterhouse. Damian Wayne, who has a soft spot for animals, found her there and decided to keep her.

Damian proudly shows her off to Jon Kent (son of Clark and Lois) whenever they first meet. Jon, who lives on a farm, raises some concerns about her being kept in a cave.

But she's also seen in pasture and living in a barn (see both panels below).
She doesn't do much, but every once in a while she'll have a day in the limelight. Like the time she manages to foil a kidnapping by standing in the road wearing a cape, or her work with other pets and animals of superheroes.

Despite her small role, she lends color to the world and is important to Damian's character development--demonstrating that he is capable of both compassion and principle.
