Social Experiment - Tumblr Posts
I want to lock "one of those people who refuse to like really popular mainstream media because they want to be seen as unique" and "one of those people who pretend they love whatever's popular at the moment so people will like them" in a room together and see what happens
The two languages that unite the world the most: music and dance.
The most beautiful footage of strangers dancing in public… https://twitter.com/Thorayaaa/status/1660180658646568967
I have to know really quick.
Fun social experiment! Misgender a cis person, and when they correct you (bonus points if they get mad) reply with "well how was I supposed to know your special pronouns?" And then continue to use the wrong pronouns when addressing them.
Social experiment: at some point in their lives every single able-bodied person should be put in a wheelchair, challenged to do the groceries and travel on a bus to do so (including sloped footpaths, busy places, and throw some looks in etc)
It'd make everyone so much more sympathetic to disability and to those who have to use chairs on the daily.
Sincerely,
I've been in a chair in public for 20 minutes and I've already had several inappropriate comments and many uncomfortable and sympathetic stares, people grabbing my handlebars...and a "fucking cripples" from a 13 (ish) year old when the bus driver asked him to move from the disabled seating..
yeah, shoutout to wheelchair users, y'all are awesome and underappreciated...but seriously everyone should have to try this at least once.

Social Experiment of the Day: Providence-based mobile app consultant Jonathan Stark recently posted his Starbucks mobile-app code to his website just to see what would happen.
After a while he discovered that many people were putting in as much, if not more, than what they were taking out. By yesterday afternoon, “Jonathan’s Card” — which had an initial balance of $30 — had facilitated $3,651 worth of transactions, with nearly 200 donating to the cause.
“It’s been a bit emotional, actually,” Stark told CNN. “People’s reactions have ranged from accusing me of stealing to thanking me for renewing their faith in humanity.”
Stark denies any professional ties to Starbucks, but the company is happy to be involved just the same. “We think Jonathan’s project is really interesting and are flattered he chose Starbucks for his social experiment,” Starbucks director of executive communications Gina Woods is quoted as saying. “We’re curious to see how his project continues to evolve.”
Jonathan’s Card has a dedicated Twitter feed which provides real-time updates on the account’s present balance.

this is fucking AWESOME.

no mercy is so GOOD! the absolute spite and anger conveyed along with the harmonyzing sound where the singing and instrumental compliment each other is just gold!!
social experiment. reblog this post and tag it with your favorite the living tombstone song that ISN'T a fnaf fan song (it can be a fan song for something else, just not fnaf)
my favorites are 1000 doors and basics in behavior (blue version)
This is a really interesting experiment. What’s to say anyone can’t feel fantastic about themselves? I certainly can’t see why you’d get angry. Now, if a person was being arrogant and selfish about themselves, in order to be “better” than someone else, different story, but if you’re to pay someone a compliment and they agree, awesome!
I’m doing a social experiment called ‘agreeing with boys when they compliment you’.
