ambient noise resources for scatterbrained students (meeee)
studies have demonstrated the beneficial effects of moderate level ambient noise (and to lesser extent, low level) in enhancing creativity and focus. there are many many apps and websites i have tried to try this hack, and from all those these are the ones that works best for me. hope these will help u guys too ^^
myNoise

mynoise.net have a HUUUGE library of noises which is browsable by the effect that one may desire or by what kind of noise is it. in the pic, you can see focus & productivity menu, meditation & relaxation menu, and sleep aid menu. but in the website, there is much more than that, for example tinnitus relief menu, stress & anxiety relief menu, and students with ADHD menu. not only that, the noises is customizable, ad-free, and has an app for both android and iOS. my all time favorite is wind & rainstorm from (no surprise here) students with ADHD menu. it honestly works magic on me.

^the legend himself Stéphane Pigeon, creator of myNoise, sampling noises for the website! i'm not being paid to say this, but if u guys feel eased by the presence of this website, you can donate to keep the website ad-free and running (i just really love this website okay, i will scream cry and throw up if it ever shut down 😭)
coffitivity

this website is what i used the most during my middle and high school before i stumbled upon myNoise. there are three free tracks that all works wonders to me. if u feel overwhelmed by the vast options in myNoise and not knowing which one would be best for you, you can go with coffitivity and pick one of the three, they work just as well! my personal favorite is lunchtime lounge. there used to be an android app, but it's no longer in the play store and i dont know where is it now :')
focus@will

this is the only paid stuff on the list, and boy is it pricey. focus@will works by assessing what kind of music suits you best by a quiz you take at the beginning (questions like "how much is your caffeine intake?" "what is your vibe?"). after that, you will be recommended 3 of the many channels available. i dont get how they pick or modify the arrangement offered in the channels, but when i heard the version of gymnopedie offered by focus@will, it boosts my focus way more than the many gymnopedies i heard anywhere else. it has 7-day free trial, which i appreciate (it ended too soon though). apps available.
purrli

honestly i just wanna hear a cat sometimes.
mind amend on youtube and website

the channel many many videos of ADHD and anxiety relief that you can watch via youtube or buy via website for like 1.5 dollar. one of my friend recommended me this channel and while i havent tried a lot of the videos, this one in particular works very well for my focus.
