CAINE ANGST / LORE THEORY 🎩🎪 !

hey guys, just before I get into the theory, you may think this is a bit of a stretch or overboard, and that’s okay, if you don’t believe the theory you can scroll or maybe interpret this as just something to think about instead 🙏

Alright so, this whole theory kind of came into my mind as I was just watching TikTok, and I came across this edit of AM from ihnmaims which apparently, gooseworx took inspiration off of for Caine, except the evil part, gooseworx confirmed that Caine isn’t really evil, he’s just oblivious

I’m gonna take the following quote to base this post on, as this quote was what got me thinking; “because in all this, wonderful, beautiful, miraculous world, I alone. Had no body. No senses, no feelings, never for me. To plunge my hands in cool water on a hot day. Never for ME, to play MOZART on the ivory keys on a (?) piano, NEVER FOR ME. To make love. I.. I.. I was in HELL, looking at heaven, I was machine. And you, were flesh.”

So, taking from this, 2 lines specifically stand out to me the most here “I was in hell, looking at heaven”, you can tell the circus means a lot to Caine, which means he must view the circus as heaven, and also the line “I was machine. And you, were flesh.” It’s not a secret that Caine is AI and the other circus members are all human, as it is stated multiple times in the pilot episode

I know you all are thinking “but bubble, the moon & the sun and NPCS are all AI too?” well yes, they are, but if you think about it on a deeper level, they aren’t real, they aren’t real people, they’re all just caine’s creations, Caine made them by himself, so really, that just means Caine must’ve been lonely and decided to create them 😕

To back this up, you can notice how majority of the AI / NPCS just praise Caine and tell him things to make him feel good about himself, like the moon when she says she loves him (I don’t ship them btw!), princess loolilalu who calls him god, and bubble who consistently encourages Caine, majority of them all just seem to praise Caine

Which led me to thinking, Caine had obviously created all the other AI before the human circus members entered the circus, meaning he was entirely on his own before they appeared, he must’ve felt so lonely that he decided to create AI / NPCS that mimic other humans, NPCS & AIS that make him feel loved, and special, since they all seem to, well majority of them, praise him in some sort of way ☹️

What if he just doesn’t know what real love feels like, what if he wants to feel loved, what if he just programmed these AIS & NPCS so he could feel loved in some way, Gooseworx has also hinted at possible Caine angst in the future episodes too, as when Gooseworx, pomni’s va, and caine’s va were at momocon, alex, caine’s va was saying how he can sympathise with Caine, which gooseworx replied back to him saying “I hope you guys are ready for that..” also, on an older post gooseworx made, someone asked if Caine can feel loneliness, which gooseworx replied to them with a picture of jax smirking, hinting that Caine can feel loneliness ☹️☹️

THAT IS ALL I HAD TO SAY THOUGH REALLY, JUST A THOUGHT, I mean to me personally, it does make a lot of sense, and it’d be interesting to see how Caine angst will unfold in the future episodes, this theory may seem a bit of a stretch, but again, it is just my thoughts, it doesn’t mean I’m necessarily right, I just think it’s interesting to think about in my opinion 😭🙏 it got me thinking after seeing the AM edit, as I’m aware that Caine is inspired by him, he’s just not as evil as AM

Someone’s probably already thought this, but what if Kinger was a part of the development team for whatever the Digital Circus is. Cause we know he had 7 years of experience in Computer Science before he entered the circus, and he’s the one that’s been there the longest out of the main cast. Or maybe he’s been there the longest of EVERYONE because he was a BETA TESTER.

I watched the digital circus pilot like most others. After watching it hundreds of times (almost not joking), I have a theory:

What if one of the characters was an outsider. I would assume it to be someone like zooble or kinger. Jax seems to be too obvious as a character to be an outsider. Many have said he gave himself admin controls and things like that, which I believe. But what if we think of zooble. All throughout the pilot, zooble seems uninterested in everything. What if in times before when people can't find them, it's because they actually know a way to exit the realm.

Say Ragatha or Gangle was looking for zooble, and they can't find them. What if that's because they are in the real world because they know a way to a exit. What if Zooble is so uninterested because they know the ins and outs of the digital circus. As well as They are the only "sane" one there, what if that's because they aren't in the "loop" everyone else is in.

Anyhow, after that nice theory, I'm going to watch the pilot again.. I have the theme song stuck in my head... help..

Well in the Bible Cain killed Abel because he was jealous of God favoring Abel's offering (even though his own offering was shit)

What if Caine did smth to Abel because he (C) was malfunctioning somehow? Possibly wasn't carrying out his function properly - maybe that's why he seems so mentally silly in present time? Or maybe he didn't like how Abel handled the digital world and decided it would be most beneficial to get rid of him?

As for God, He might be a parallel to the creator(s) of the digital world? Like the ones who created Caine and Abel? Maybe Caine did what he did to "ensure maximum satisfaction" from his creator(s), or even to save himself from getting deletes by becoming the only AI capable of managing the digital world?

A very loose theory that I have is that Caine has a partner, probably called Abel since I’m using the Bible story as a sort of reference and also the logo in the office has this

Alsoooo I know the spelling for Caine is off if it were directly referencing the story since it’s Cain without an e but I’m just picking at straws here since all we have is the pilot and the website(s)(I haven’t looked into it and I have no clue how many there is)

has anyone thought about what happens to the players PHYSICALLY when they enter the digital circus

because we know their minds are transported into the digital world, but what happens to their bodies?

they ALL put on the headset and immediately got transported inside, so I doubt they'd have time to take it off - does that mean they're still at least partially connected to their bodies, enough to stay alive but not quite conscious?

if we go off that idea, i feel like they'd just collapse on the spot when they put on the headset

imagine finding some cool headset in the back of an alley or maybe even in that C&A office with the computer and you put it on and just like faint

imagine FINDING some random mf unconscious in a sketchy place with a headset latched onto their head

because we know their minds are transported into the digital world, but what happens to their bodies?

An idea for the TADC Swap au:

Pomni is actually a real person while the rest of the gang are very advanced AIs that she created. The reason they don't remember anything from their lives outside the circus is because they were never real people to begin with, but they still think they're human.

When someone abstracts it is them realizing that they're an AI and their digital form starts glitching from their existential crisis.

What if Able was the first to get abstracted?

What if Caine had a co-ringmaster named Aible (AI-ble), but got jealous because the devs liked Aible more, so he messed with the code to corrupt him and make him unusable.

He says "The only thing I don't have control over are your minds." which means that he can't cause or stop a player's abstraction because he doesn't know how the human brain functions. But an AI similar in design to him would be easier to understand, and in turn manipulate.

What if Aible realized it only after Caine did?

What if Caine regrets it?

I headcanon that Aibel had a desighn at some point, but Caine ruined him so badly the game can't recover how he looks like or any other information about him. Which makes him literally the easiest character design. Ominous black squares.

the number '57' has been repeated three times so far, with mentions of it being in every episode.

as for what it means im not sure, but the meaning might be important, considering that '57' has been repeated every episode.

I HAVE A THEORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so what if abstraction in tadc is just caine getting rid of a persons their digital form because he is getting bored of them. so he makes the simulation make them go crazy of the fact that there is ¨ no exit ¨ and then finally when their mind brakes they abstract and get taken out of the simulation, setting them free from the ai. sort of ¨ waking them up¨. THINK ABT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! because in games that aren't all the way developed, there are random disregarded designs and features throughout the game so maybe the cellar is where caine keeps the designs of former trapped people that he got bored off.

As tumblers biggest Jax hater (/j) I do find it VERY interesting that Jax helped Kinger and Gangle get away from the abstracted Kaufmo in his own stand offish way.

Yeah he threw a fucking bowling ball at them and threw them down the pit without warning but he got them both away from Kaufmo when he himself could of just hopped in and escaped himself like he did with Pomni and Ragatha.

That with the quote “We’ve been stuck here for years. Old Kinger over there supposedly been here the longest.” Makes me think that maybe Jax and Kinger where the first two or the oldest two in the Digital Circus.

Maybe Jax was less closed off once and maybe once Kinger was less part of the madness … you hear what I’m saying ?

And since we all know what happened there

I thought, hey wouldn’t it be funny if Tessa was stuck in some digital space as a sort of way for cyn to keep her promise?

But that would be crazy right

RIGHT?

There weren’t many examples that I can find in episode 1 of the amazing digital circus of similarities

mainly because Tessa only shows up for one episode and pomni was mainly focused on finding an exit

While you could see that Tessa trying break out of her chains as similar way of pomni trying to find exit

there are a lot more in episode two

For example Pomni treats gummigoo like a real and not just an NPC

She doesn’t leave gummigoo alone to find a way to map and doesn’t make him feel any less real then herself

She even offered him a place at the circus

It’s Similar to how Tessa treats the worker drones in the manor

She treats them like real people not just mindless servants that replaceable when they get broken or step out of line

Both of the manors look very alike

The angel and cyn both got their heads chop off

The wings of the angel also seem tohave a similar shape to the wings of disassembly drones

Heck the way how Martha sounds similar to Louisa

This last part feels like it’s feeding to the npc jax theory a little but it could make a lot of sense

Actually now that I think about it cyn could be Caine as far as we know

Think about it cyn is the host for the absolute solver

essentially the ringmaster of the circus of chaos that the solver inflected on other worlds

So wouldn’t make sense for her to be in there too I mean she could be Caine

as a sort of purpose that the solver gave her to keep the solver’s victims distracted from everything with the adventures

And Caine isn’t even the only possibility for cyn it could also be zooble

The reason for zooble likely being cyn might make sense in only my perspective

but zooble not liking themself because of the removable limbs that they have

could’ve been reminded of robo-corpse-spire that cyn was in

And cyn’s trauma being the result of zooble not liking their parts kinda make sense

Para los q no sepan, en una parte del piloto, aparece el logo de una empresa (C&A) y pos, pq la menciono?

Se me hace jodidamente sospechosa, tenía la teoría de q al parecer, es una empresa q hace videojuegos, y entre ellos está Digital Circus, y pensaba q la empresa hacía experimentos con el juego, pq no creo q los humanos se queden atrapados ahí por arte de magia, y otra cosa es q el logo de la empresa tmb aparece en imágenes de Marketing (se q las imágenes de marketing o q promocionan la serie no son canon, pero no es raro q el logo ya salió varias veces?) pos, una amiga me dijo q cuando algo se repite en una serie, tiene un significado, así q se me hace q en un futuro, podremos saber más de la empresa...

Hello, probably not a single person will read this :> but anyway, I wanted to share a tadc theory :D

For those who don't know, in part of the pilot, the logo of a company (C&A) appears and well, why do I mention it?

It makes me fucking suspicious, I had a theory that apparently it is a company that makes video games, and among them is Digital Circus, and I thought that the company was doing experiments with the game, because I don't think that humans will be trapped there for magic art, and another thing is that the company logo also appears in Marketing images (I know that the marketing images or images that promote the series are not canon, but isn't it strange that the logo has already appeared several times?) well, A friend told me that when something is repeated in a series, it has a meaning, so I think that in the future, we will be able to know more about the company...

Sorry if it's not understood, I'm bad at theories and also at explaining xD!
