“i need to get you away from all this.” you say while looking around the room and then back at him. “c’mon, get up.”

after sitting beside taehyun  for what felt like hours, you got up to get him out of the room.

taking care of him meant you had to constantly bring him glasses of water and make sure he kept himself conscious. taehyun doesn’t usually drink a lot, so this is new to you.

he always thought people who got too drunk at parties were dumb for doing things like that in public. but now, he’s the one sitting on the floor against the wall, trying to regain his composure.

you grab taehyun’s arm and then place your hand on his waist to hold him up next to you. his ears show a shade of pink at your bold touch but he keeps it hidden. he tries to shrug you off and mumbles something about not wanting to move, but you’re not letting him stay there any longer.

“i don’t wanna leave. i'm fine y/n... really.” he says while talking at a slow speed, like he was fighting for those words to come out.

you ignore his remarks as you walk out the room. once you reach the hall you take a glance at the rooms and decide that the bedroom at the end of the hall would be a calmer place.

“all i want is for you to get better, and that room was the worst place to sober up. you’re already doing good, so just do as i say okay?” you retort as you make your way to the center of the room and reach for the bed, sitting him on the edge of it.

“whatever.” he slurs while lazily looking around the room and then at you.

you take the bottle of water you had brought and then hand it to him as you sit down on the other edge of the bed. as he drinks the water you look up to the ceiling and start reflecting about the past.

it has been a while since you talked to taehyun. after you started to go out with his best friend nicholas, things felt more distant. not awkward, just, distant.

you met taehyun through nicholas a while ago. you guys went bowling and he introduced you to some of his friends: taehyun being one of them.

after that bowling night, taehyun reached out to you to hang out more often. and so, you two became best friends. you would eat out, watch movies or most of the time, just talk.

however, he wasn’t the only one hanging out with you. you were still going out with nicholas regularly at that time, and you guys were closer than ever. taehyun knew this, and for some reason it bothered him. he didn’t want to accept it, but he couldn’t deny the fact that he liked you, from the very start. he knew it was wrong, how could he like the same girl as his best friend? so, he decided to keep quiet and he never said anything ; until one day.

it happened around two weeks ago, on a wednesday afternoon: you and taehyun were eating some sweets after walking around town. he always bought you sweets, he knew you loved them. you two decided to eat them while sitting in front of the shop. you had called for an uber and while waiting for it you two chatted about whatever crossed your mind.

“hey,” taehyun cut the conversation while he stared at the cars passing by “i need to tell you something.”

“sure... what is it?” you said keeping your eyes on the cars, slightly concerned by his serious tone. you both wouldn’t look at each other.

“i..” he paused. “i had feelings for you.”

you frowned and kept looking at the road, you were about to say something in response but he cut you off.

“but i don’t anymore. i liked you and it’s in the past.” he continued while avoiding your gaze. “you’re going out with nicholas and he’s my bestfriend. i don’t want to lose him, or you.” he states.

“i liked you too, a while back.” you stared at the cars going at a fast speed as you reflected on this. you recently had a feeling he liked and you kept it away for the same reasons as him.

“it’s all in the past, right? we-” taehyun asked you, but it felt like he asked himself that too. “we’re good like this, right?”

“i-“ as you try and answer him, your uber calls. you look at the car and then back at him as you walk off, sighing. “i have to go.”

“how’s nicholas doing?” says taehyun from the other side of the bed, suddenly cutting your train of thought.

your best friend is doing his best to sober up and here you are thinking about useless things. get a grip y/n, you thought.

“he’s okay. haven’t seen him in a bit tho.” you reply while looking to the side.

“oh. why?” he asks while staring at you.

“i told him i didn’t want to see him for some time, i’ve got some stuff i need to sort out.” you sigh. why would he ask about him now? it annoyed you, for an unknown reason. “anyway, i think you’re feeling better aren’t you?”

he let out a small chuckle and he waved the empty water bottle at you. “yup, all thanks to you.”

he looked a bit tipsy but that was it. he definitely felt better and you deemed it to be the right time to leave the room. you stood up and rearranged your dress that had ridden up to your thighs. taehyun’s eyes lingered on them until he looked up to you.

“wait, you're leaving?” he questions while looking disappointed.

“yeah.. i think you’re good, so i'm gonna go back to my friends.” you answer while looking back at him and giving him a small smile. you turn your back and reach for the door until you feel something grab your hand.

“but i don’t want you to leave.” taehyun says as he grabs your hand and stands behind you.

you ground yourself and resist the urge to turn around. you can feel his breath behind you as he sighs. your cheeks start to warm up at the thought of him being close to you again.

“can i-” he looks down “can i kiss you? please y/n” he says quietly.

you turn around and look at him. your flustered expression must say it all since he talks again before you can reply.

“just-” his eyes are fixed on yours “just once, it won't hurt us, i swear.” then, his eyes travel down to your lips.

“no..” you look down “taehyun i’m sorry but i don’t think that’s good neither of us.” you retort.

he sighs and lets go of your hand to run his hand through his hair in frustration. he felt bad after asking for that so shamelessly. “i’m sorry.”

you don’t know why but your heart aches. you know it wouldn’t be right so you reach for the door again, without looking back. you’re about to step but you pause and look down, burying your face in your palms.

“fuck.” you groan in exasperation. you stood there for a few seconds until you could feel taehyun's smirk from behind you.

taehyun’s eyes lock with yours as you turn your head to the side and you feel like your breath got caught in your throat. his eyes are slightly glossy as they burn into yours. you look down at his lips and then look back up to meet his piercing gaze.

“i knew you’d stay.” he whispers as he glares at you from the bed. he stands up and snatches your waist to hold you.

taehyun keeps pulling you into his embrace and you swear both of his hands on you, could break your waist. his touch makes your head spin and your breath quicken.

“just a kiss.” he slurs as he joins his forehead with yours and presses his body closer to you, making you feel all of him. you feel the heat coming off his body, and his breath is so clear against you that it makes your face feel hot. adding the scent of vodka and sandalwood radiating off his body, you become gradually intoxicated by him.

“taehyun..” you hesitate. your voice comes out so low, that if it weren’t for the proximity between you both, he wouldn’t have heard it. “just one kiss.” you comply.

finally gaining confirmation, he wastes no time in grabbing the back of your neck to pull you closer and connect his lips with yours. his other hand travels down to grasp your hip with so much force it makes you let out a small gasp. taehyun’s kiss is ignited with desire. it’s so rough that it almost feels desperate.

you feel like your legs are gonna give out any second with the way he handles you, turning into mush. his tongue slides against your bottom lip asking for permission, you let out a small moan as you open your mouth for him and he swears your moans could kill him. he never lets his mouth leave yours as he clumsily brings you to the bed in hurried movements.

he sits down and lifts you onto his lap without effort. god, those gym sessions really pay off, you think. his hands roam around your body and he feels whatever he can, making you let out shaky breaths between actions. your crotch lands on his suddenly causing friction.

you moan at the sudden contact and you break the kiss. your eyes trail down his body: his ruffled hair, now red and puffy lips from all the kissing, his toned biceps, and lastly, his defined v-line exposed by his shirt that had ridden up. you felt a pool form between your legs as you stared at him in awe.

taking advantage of your ogling, taehyun started doing the same to you. he studied your face, glowing with the glints of light that came into the room, then he observed your body, starstruck by the way your chest was heaving with each breath you took. it was as if he was memorizing every part of you, in fear of never seeing it again.

“a kiss isn’t enough.” he groans as he latches onto your neck and starts to kiss and bite every spot on it. “i need all of you.”

you latch onto him as his hands grip your ass, while he keeps his attack against your neck and collarbone, marking you. with one sharp bite on your collarbone your body reacts instinctively and you rub yourself against his crotch, making him let out a broken whimper.

“oh god” he says between bites. “you’re gonna kill me y/n.” he growls, holding on to your hips to keep them in place with so much force that you’re sure it will bruise you.

“taehyun...” you call in a broken tone. “give me more.”

he’s certain that he’s done for once those words leave your lips. he inches you closer to his crotch and makes you rub against it again, kissing you furiously. you pant, feeling his hot breath against your skin. he feels like his entire body is in flames, his mind clouded with you. your body, your voice, your scent, all of you, in his hold.

“don’t worry baby. i’ll give you everything.”

Scared; Taehyun

Genre: angst, fluff, break up/make up au

Word count: 1.3K

Warnings: a kiss

This is based on my obsession with the song Parking Spot by Prettymuch and Taehyun brain rot :’)

Scared; Taehyun

"So that's it? This is all you got?" Taehyun asks with disbelief in his eyes and a frown sketched upon his lips.

You swallow and tighten your grip on the bag in your hand—the bag with all the belongings that have been scattered around Taehyun's apartment for the past months. Your belongings.

"We-" you halt your words and look around as if the walls will give you the right words to tell the man you're ending your relationship with today. "We just won't work."

"Why not? Why won't we work?" Taehyun asks with desperation lacing his voice. He takes a step closer to you and you take a step back, making the man look away with embittered eyes and flared nostrils. He frustratedly runs a hand through his dark brown hair and you just watch him, lips sealed because you deep down know you're not ruining just what you have built with him in the past months; you're ruining him. Yourself.

"You are an idol. You have millions of eyes watching you every day, following your every movement. And me... I'm just me, Taehyu-"

"Stop, Yn," Taehyun mumbles, rubbing his face.

"No, Taehyun. I am going to university, I am working, I do everything any other normal person my age would do. But that's not-"

"Yn, please-"

"-what you need. You don't need 'normal', Taehyun. You need someone who will understand and relate to your lifestyle and your struggles. Only someone like that can support you to the fullest. You deserve that and I can't give you tha-"

"Stop calling me that," Taehyun firmly states, dropping his hands from his face and letting them hang limply by his sides.

You frown, a questioning expression in your eyes.

"Don't call me by my full name. Call me Tae. Call me love, baby, everything you called me the past months. Just... just don't call me by my full name, Yn," the boy in front of you asks, his voice cracking as salty tears make his dark eyes start burning.

Your face softens and his words cause your shoulders to slump as you look at the boy who gave you the best six months of your life. The boy with the warmest hugs, softest hands, and most delicate lips. With the darkest eyes, brightest smile, and most contagious laugh. The boy with the biggest heart.

"I don't fit in your life, Tae," you whisper, slowly letting go of the bag in your hand and Taehyun shakes his head.

"Let me be the one to decide that," he replies and starts walking up to you. You take another step back and your back hits the wall. You shake your head before looking up and letting out a shaky sigh. You know you should walk past him and leave his apartment. But as he gets closer to you and you can clearly see the tears glistening in his eyes, you don't want to move. You don't want to run. You look down, not being able to look at him.

"You say you won't be able to understand me, to give me the support I need," Taehyun starts once he halts his steps when the tips of his beat-up converse almost touch your shoes. "But then why are you the first girl who knows about my deepest fears? About my most hidden insecurities and my biggest dreams? Why are you the first girl who has met my closest friends and family?" He mumbles, not bothering to wipe the escaped tear off his cheek. He takes another step forward and you gulp at the close proximity. With his chest now touching yours, you can feel the rapid pace of his heart and you realize just how nervous he is—how scared he is to lose you.

"You say you won't be able to understand or support me, but then why are you the only person who has ever made me feel this understood in my entire life, who has ever made me feel this supported?" He asks and his minty breath fans your lips as he tilts his head while letting his gaze roam your face. "Why, hm?"

You refuse to look up at him, scared you'll break and give in the moment your eyes meet his. But Taehyun doesn't accept your avoidance. He knows you're keeping something from him. He knows you don't want to end your relationship.

Taehyun gently takes your chin in between his thumb and index finger and raises your face to make you look at him.

"Answer me, baby," he softly pleads, desperate eyes searching for yours.

"I'm scared I'm not enough for you, Tae," you finally confess and the walls that were holding back the tears behind your eyes finally break. "I'm not even from here. I am afraid I'll never get accepted into your life. I'm scared you'll realize you need more than me and you'll leave. I need to protect my heart before all of that happens," you mumble, tears now falling from your eyes. Taehyun lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding and slowly shakes his head before pulling you into his body. He places his hand on the back of your head and you lean into his chest as you cry.

"Shh, deep breaths," he whispers as he strokes your hair with one hand while wrapping his other arm around your back. "Everything's going to be okay, pretty girl. I'm here. I'll always be here."

He presses multiple kisses on the top of your head and you slip your hands under his hoodie to embrace his warm body.

"You are more than enough to me. And I will let you know until you believe me. God, Yn, I thought I couldn't breathe anymore just now when you said you were leaving," he mumbles into your hair before closing his eyes and inhaling your sweet scent to calm his heart down.

"You make me feel so grounded and alive at the same time. I've never felt anything like this. Please, give me the chance to show you I can make you feel the same way. Let me show you you belong with me more than anyone. Prove with me that nothing around us matters as long as we love each other."

You slowly look up at him and he softly smiles at you as he cups your face and wipes the tears off your cheeks with his thumbs.

"Love?" You mumble.

"I love you, Yn. I love you so much I think about you day and night. All the nights you listened to my hours of venting, the safe space you created for me in such a short period of time, everything you taught me... God, Yn, I love you so much," he earnestly confesses and your lower lip starts quivering again.

"My God, Tae, you're going to make me start sobbing again," you reply with an embarrassed chuckle, and your voice cracks as tears fall from your eyes again, making Taehyun let out a sweet laugh.

"Just tell me you love me too," he whispers while searching for your eyes.

You stay silent for a few seconds as you let yourself get lost in the galaxy in his eyes before giving a small nod.

"It terrifies me how much I love you."

Taehyun's face softens and an emotional smile colors his tear stained lips when hearing your honest words.

He strokes your cheek with his thumb before leaning in and capturing your lips in between his. Your eyes flutter shut at the soft feeling of his plush lips against your own and you tighten your grip on his waist, pulling him closer if that is even possible.

"My baby," he whispers against your lips, making your heart do a summersault before he places another long kiss on your lips. “I was so scared I’d lose you."

"Be honest with me for once," Yeonjun begged; the silvery, usually confident tone wrapping itself around with carmine threads of dolour, shaking ever so slightly. Those lucent eyes of his nearly closing, heavy with unspoken grief yet he still composed himself. Trying his best to appear equanimous—strong enough to bravely bear the weight of her truth.

She had never seen him like this; so fragile— like the image of someone draped in naivety, one who needed protection rather than being the one who always provided shelter.

"For once." Yeonjun repeated, pressing his lips into a thin line to fashion himself into a courageous version of the man who stood before her: the man who was unafraid to accept the torment once and for all, the man who was not ready to walk away.

"Did you ever love me?" He sucked in a breath, staring right at her through the opaque tears that adorned the vermillion of his eyes, threatening to spill over even at the slight hesitation of hers, "even once?"

Was Yeonjun the same man she had lost her heart to once? Someone who was unafraid to reflect the conditions of his heart so bravely before the scrutinizing gazes? Perhaps if she was aware of it, she wouldn't have to leave him.

She nodded, words refusing to fizzle out of her mouth—worrying that one little pathetic sound might crash the dam she had built, crashing through the barricades she had set up for herself, pushing past the limitations to protect her selfish heart, while she goes on and breaks his one, without a hint of remorse flashing through the blankness of her gaze.

Yeonjun scoffed almost immediately, raising his slender, winsome hand in the air before brushing through his caramel locks, as a perturbed scowl appeared on his lips, refusing to believe in the honesty he had demanded from her.

"Liar," He spat, pointing an accusatory finger at her. The bashed hue of misery mixing in with the vehement wrath, he looked at her with his cheeks stained.

"You love me," Yeonjun announced through his gritted teeth, easily calling bluff to the lies she told herself and him.

"If I loved you I wouldn't have left you!" She screamed, unknowingly taking a step back. Hoping, desperately hoping, the space she created between the two of them would conceal the veracity of her lies. She wanted these words to be mantled in sincerity, coming from the bottom of her heart, so she could hurt him just like the way he did to her. In spite of begging for forgiveness, again and again, he went back and destroyed the world she wanted to build for the two of them. Unfortunately only love wasn't enough for her, for anyone, except him.

"I had loved you once," she stated with finality, "not anymore."

"Why?" Yeonjun yelled, looking down to hide the new tears that had been streaming down his blossoming cheeks, "just why?

"Because," she paused, heaving lids leading her to the bag slung over her shoulder, rummaging through it for the object that could save the both of them through an ordeal that ripped them apart with no sense of penitent. She pulled out a bar of snickers.

"You're not you when you're hungry."

"I hope you copyrighted our break up story," Taehyun, your ex-boyfriend turns to look at you as soon as the commercial break ends and a random group appears on the screen promoting their new album. He wore nothing but complete and utter sincerity on his face, conveying that everything that came out of his mouth, no matter how absurd it may have sounded, was to be set on stones. And he is willing to drag whoever is responsible to the house of justice, if he must.

You rolled your eyes, setting the fifth coffee he had asked for on his table and put your hands into the tiny pockets on your apron that your niece had customized for you, preparing to refute whatever laws he was going to brag about using in his hypothetical case, and ultimately kick him out of your café for the third time that day.

"First of all," you began, enticing those huge, sparkly eyes to look up at you, "That's probably not our story—"

You widen your eyes to shut him up when you notice his mouth parting to interrupt you, "Our break up wasn't even this fancy," You pointed at the television set up at one of the corners.

"You weren't even half as charming as Choi Yeonjun." A scowl forming on Taehyun's velvety lips, marred by the foam of the coffee you had made for him, at the blatant comparison between him and possibly the hottest new actor of the country with no consideration for his dainty ego, " You just stared at me with your big eyes and called me a liar."

The integrity of your thorny words softened the look of dissatisfaction on Taehyun's face upon the unpredictable blow. He couldn't refute that. He had indeed called you a liar, a fraud, and a coward when you refused to acknowledge the preponderant feelings that were kept inside of your heart in a folder of his namesake.

That is still buried in that folder, sure, under all the letters of complaints about him, but it had existed, and it still exists. You were still a liar, although a very bad one at that.

"And get out after you fi—"

"Yet the storyline is exactly the same, with the exception of those tacky dialogues," Taehyun explained, lifting the cup to his mouth, sneaking a smile at the succession of interrupting you before taking a contentful sip of the warm beverage," and the actor crying—I did not cry."

You shifted your weight from one leg to another, the invisible meter of wrath on top of your head nearing a very dangerous temperature,"Of course, you don't cry. You only make the people around you cry." You muttered under your breath, loud enough, and well intended for him to hear.

"That writer is your friend too." He spoke defiantly, ignoring your snide remark.

"So what? Are you gonna drag my friend to court?" You inquired, lazy eyes boring through his piercing ones, expecting him to nod, betting all those years you had spent with him. And he did so exactly—the years were yet to betray you.

"We can win!" Taehyun exclaimed, hoping to rope you into his intrepid adventure to acquire justice for a chapter in both of your life; the one you want to burn.

"And what will you gain from it?" You chose to humor his foolish castles built in the cloud rather than calling the cops and finally obtaining a long awaited restraining order on your unruly ex boyfriend.

A cheshire cat grin swept across his features, his hands nearly slipping out and grabbing yours to sit you beside him and listen to his brilliant plant. But the flinch of yours at the action had swiftly stopped him, before his fingers could graze your wrist.

"Dignity," He announced proudly, ignoring the blunder he was about to commit, "and money."

"I don't want any money!" You grimaced immediately, pulling yourself even further, capturing the attention of the patrons seated around you.

It was his turn to roll his doll-like eyes, probably swallowing down a bubble of how anyone who denies monetary consolation is just shrouding themselves in a false lie of social justice in this cruel, rotting day and age of capitalism.

Taehyun leaned back on his seat, leisurely sipping on his coffee, "Alright then,"

"Relinquish the copyrights to me." He narrowed his eyes, and stared at you in utter determination through the gap between his fingers holding his coffee cup up, blatantly expecting you to crack down and file the case against your 'so-called' friend for the handsome prize.

You opened your mouth to chide him once again but the meter above your head had just crossed its limit and you were officially done entertaining the man you stopped loving a year prior. His raised eyebrows, silently challenging you to take up the generous offer—but it only edged you closer to the point where all that was left was the meter to explode and using a shard from the debris to stab the annoying man invading your work place.

Instead of a sharp jab at his expense which he was waiting for, you bent down to shut his laptop, urging him to jump up on his seat in a flash, ready to catch the electronic if you threw it on his head. Zelaous eyes flickering from your tired face to his laptop, deciphering the inconspicuous code that you send him, telling him it was time to leave or else he'd have to walk out of this place with his hands full—each hand holding the two separate, broken parts of his late laptop.

"Leave."You spell it out for him, incase he decided to be extra shameless on this fine day. Your eyes pointing at his laptop, and then to the door, eagerly urging him to get out. He pursed his lips, and raised his cup to his mouth, and took a long drag, finishing almost all of it in one long sip, before standing up, towering over you.

"Fine," He sighed, collecting all his belongings from the table, "Put the coffee on my tab."

You suppress the urge to groan into his face, to save the reputation of your quaint cafe—instead deciding upon throwing lethal daggers from your eyes; the hopeless, and quite laughable wish of yours for your ex to realise that keeping coming here won't magically change your mind, and give him another chance.

"I'll be back soon, dear ex." He threw in another vexatious smile before leaving for the day for good.

PS5 (Taehyun Version, One-Shot, Angst)

image

Disclaimers: I don’t own the gif I used for my header (obviously) 😁 Creator is credited. Any and all lyrics from “PS5” belong to Salem Ilese, Alan Walker, and Tomorrow x Together.

A Note from Kutemouse: I loved writing the Yeonjun version, so I decided to make a Taehyun version seeing as how they both sang on the song “PS5.” For this one-shot, I tried to do like an opposite mirror of the Yeonjun version. For example, the characters in the Yeonjun version were very confrontational, in this version, Y/n and Taehyun avoid confrontation at all costs 😂 Anyway, hope you enjoy! 💜

(Basically Unedited)

Rating: PG

Genre: Angst

Warnings: Swears, hella passive aggressiveness, cold shouldering, Taehyun being a supreme jerk, relationship drama x 5000

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

PS5 (Taehyun Version, One-Shot, Angst)

You shuffled your feet, your bottom lip trapped between your teeth as you debated whether or not to interrupt your boyfriend. His silvery-blonde hair hung down into his eyes as he stared intently at the screen, the buttons of his controller clicking as he played. “Um,” you mumbled. “Taehyun?”

He didn’t respond. Then again, he hadn’t said more than five words to you for the past couple days. Last week, you had gotten in a huge fight with him. Your job required you to travel to Europe for a few months, and your boss hinted the project you were working on might take even longer. That night, you had come home tight-lipped and stressed, and all it took was Taehyun asking what was wrong for everything to explode. You and he argued into the late hours of the night, ending with Taehyun insisting you quit your job. His reasoning was that Korea was your home, both of your families were close by, and he couldn’t and didn’t want to leave.

The problem was, you loved your job. You worked hard to get it, and you didn’t think you could find another anywhere else that would make you as happy. You tried to compromise, tried to come up with some sort of solution where you could keep your job and your relationship, but to no avail. Taehyun was stubborn, and after more arguing the next day, he went out to calm down and came home with a brand-new PS5 and an expensive-looking gaming headset. He’d barely said anything to you since.

Taking a deep breath, you tentatively reached out and tapped his shoulder. He didn’t even bother looking at you as he removed a headphone. “Taehyun? Dinner’s ready.”

He nodded once before slipping the headphone back over his ear. Your chest tightened painfully as you walked back into the kitchen and sat down to eat, alone. You guessed Taehyun would rather eat his dinner cold than eat with you.

You picked at your food, the pain in your chest traveling up your throat, making it hard to swallow. Finally, you pushed your plate away, sighing. You didn’t know how much longer you could deal with this silent treatment. Shouldn’t you be talking things out, trying to figure out a plan so the both of you could stay together?

You felt anxiety creep along your nerves, triggering your flight response. You weren’t the type for confrontation, and you dreaded even trying to talk to Taehyun, but what other choice did you have? Between his silence and his new gaming console, he barely noticed you were there as it was. You would either have to talk to him or allow him to continue shutting you out until you faded out of existence from his life.

Bracing yourself, you quietly crept up to Taehyun, gently tapping his shoulder. He sighed, muting himself before removing a headphone once more. “What?”

“Oh, um… uh…”

“What?” he asked again, irritation evident in his tone.

“I-I was wondering if w-we could talk,” you stammered. God, you hated conflict of any sort, especially with the guy who was still, despite everything, the love of your life.

Taehyun’s chocolate-brown eyes narrowed. “Can’t you see I’m live?” he said, gesturing at the screen.

“O-Oh, sorry. I’ll leave you to it, then.”

You shuffled to your bedroom, hanging your head. There was nothing you could do if he wouldn’t talk to you. Damn him! Tears blurred your vision as you yanked open your closet and pulled out a duffel bag. You barely noticed what you were throwing into it. Clothes, toothbrush, underwear. You just knew you needed to get away.

You made your way to the door, tears still streaming down your face, trying to keep your sobs contained. The sound of you opening the lock must have caught Taehyun’s attention because he suddenly whipped his head around, sliding his headphones down to hang around his neck. “Y/n?”

You paused, a tiny blossom of hope filling you along with embarrassment over your reddened, tear-stained face. “Y-Yes?”

“Wait,” he said, crossing the room towards you, distress in his eyes. “Where are you going?”

“To Wonyoung’s,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady.

“Wait, why?”

You took a deep breath, allowing yourself a brief glance into his alarm-filled eyes. “I just think-” You broke off, choking back a sob. “I just think we need some time apart.”

You reached for the doorknob, but Taehyun put his palm against the door, not letting you open it. “Y/n, please. Wait. I know I… I know I’ve not been in a very talkative mood lately, but-”

“Not been in a talkative mood?” You couldn’t believe what you were hearing. “Taehyun, you’ve barely spoken five words to me over the past couple days.”

“I’m ready to talk now!” Taehyun pleaded.

You finally looked him full in the eyes, your tears dry for the time being. “It’s too late,” you said firmly. “Now let me go.”

Taehyun’s hand fell to his side in defeat. “Fine.”

。☆✼★━━━━━━━━━━━━★✼☆。

The next day, you woke up on an air mattress in Wonyoung’s room, depressed as hell. You could barely move let alone think. Your entire being just felt numb, your limbs heavy, and your willpower weak. Despite Wonyoung’s attempts, you weren’t going to be going anywhere anytime soon.

A furious knocking sound roused you from a deep sleep. You placed a hand to your aching head, groaning, before you heard Wonyoung’s voice. “What are you doing here?”

“I need to see her.”

Shit. Taehyun.

“Well, she’s sleeping. You can try calling her later or something.”

“I already did. She’s not responding.”

“Maybe there’s a reason for that.”

You sat up, shocked. Your usually sweet, soft-spoken best friend had never sounded more angry. “Wonyoung, wait,” you called out. “Let me talk to him.”

You did your best to get yourself off the mattress without stumbling, smoothing down the large t-shirt you sported and running a hand through your hair. You hoped you didn’t look as bad as you felt. “Y/n,” Taehyun breathed out when he saw you. He nervously glanced at Wonyoung. “Can we talk?”

“Sure.”

You stepped out into the hallway, closing the door behind you. “So talk,” you said, folding your arms over your chest, your voice devoid of emotion. You had expected this talk to come sooner or later, and you wanted to get it over with some dignity.

Taehyun mumbled something, shoving his hands in his pockets and looking everywhere but at you. “What?” you said.

He took a deep breath. “I just came to apologize.”

You scoffed, rolling your eyes.

“I mean it, Y/n. I have acted like a supreme jerk, and I didn’t realize how badly I messed up until you were leaving me.”

“I didn’t leave you,” you muttered. “I just wanted to give you the space you supposedly wanted.”

Taehyun stepped close to you, and you hated how your senses craved the touch of his soft hands, the smell of his cologne containing notes of lavender and orange blossom, the way his eyes used to roam over you from across a room, lifting his pale-pink lips in a smirk. You shoved your feelings down like you had been doing since you left. If you weren’t feeling attracted to him, maybe it won’t hurt so much when he inevitably breaks up with you.

“I thought I wanted space, but when I got too much of it, I couldn’t…” He broke off, not able to finish.

“Couldn’t what?”

Taehyun took your hands in his, squeezing tightly. “Couldn’t breathe!”

He sighed, leaning his forehead against yours. “I couldn’t fucking breathe. I can’t live without you, Y/n.”

Despite you spending the entire morning refusing to feel any sort of emotion, tears filled your eyes at his words. “Does that mean…?” You didn’t dare finish that sentence.

“It means, if you go to Europe, I’m going with you. I don’t care what it takes.”

A spark of joy began in your chest, igniting a wave that eventually covered your entire body in warmth. “You’re being serious?”

“I’m being serious,” Taehyun said, giving you a small smile. “I can’t lose you. If you still want to leave me, I completely understand, but if you don’t leave me, I promise I’ll find a way to win you over.”

You kissed him then, not able to stop yourself if you tried. He instantly brought a hand up to caress your face, lifting your chin to deepen the kiss. You separated from him for only a moment. “You already have,” you whispered before touching your lips to his once more.

You didn’t know how long the two of you stood in that hallway, kissing until your head spun, but you knew you’d continue kissing Taehyun for the rest of your life. You never wanted to go a single day without kissing him, whether in Europe or anywhere else in the world.

Content: angst, smut (um..... maybe) ,fluff

A/N: so um.... This is my first fic and I feel really nervous but yeah. Hope you enjoy and please support me❤️.

"Come on, just this once can't you agree to come with me?" Taehyun says a bit too desperately while following you down the hallway.

This is the hundredth time you've rejected him but he won't stop. You stopped your tracks and sighed turning around to look at him "Look, I'm not a fan of parties okay? Besides there are plenty of girls waiting to be asked. I'm not interested."

" Please.... just this once?." He pleaded with a glint of hope in his eyes. You know he won't stop until you agree. He was a fuckboy, of course you were sure he was going to use you .

But it won't hurt saying yes to him right?

"Fine" you agreed while sighing . "What time is the party starting?" You asked him while standing outside the campus trying to resist the urge to take your fingers through his silky looking hair

"At 7 so be ready I'll pick you up" he said with a hint of excitement in his voice "I'm leaving, see you at 7" you said while walking away heading to your apartment just near by the campus so it was only a ten minute walk from there.

Time Skip........

It was actually alot harder than you thought picking out an outfit for the party and to be honest you were quite nervous going to the party.

You were wondering what would happen if you went to the party with Taehyun . What would people think , that you're one of his toys?

You decided to go with a simple flared sky blue dress with a denim jacket and white sneakers (I'm sorry I don't know what the hell I'm doing 😭)

After a few minutes you heard a knock on your door and was not surprised to see Taehyung but he looked ...hot.

"hey.." He broke the silence and he leaned against the door frame while somehow hovering over you with an intense stare.

"h-hi" you stuttered, cursing yourself because you were nervous. "You look beautiful " he complemented you but this time he didn't smirk and he had a genuine smile .

Almost as if he was trying to tell you something but what was it

Your heart skipped a beat and you could sense the tension between the both of you .

"Shall we? " Taehyun said while he held out his hand for you and you hesitated but gave in anyway. When you reached his car he opened the door for you and he went to his seat afterwards.

The car ride was silent apart from the radio on. You turned to face him while studying his features while enjoying the silence but it wasn't awkward, it was..... actually comforting.

"You can take a photo,it will last longer " he said while smirking . You scoffed " Why would I? " You said as you two reached the frat house, hearing loud music a looking at some couple making out at the door. "Because...." he stared at you while leaning in and leaving a small distance between your faces "You like me ... don't you?"

You got flustered and cleared your throat " We should um.....go inside" you told him without sparing him a glance

When you entered with Taehyun you were immediately hit with the stench of cigarettes and beer and not gonna lie but the place smelt horrible . "Taehyun wassup my bro !!" A tall guy appeared with a red solo cup in his hand while he came closer and shook Taehyun's hand .

"Hey , you must be Y/N" he said "And you must be....." You trailed off waiting for him to tell you his name "I'm Yeonjun" he said while handing out his hand for you to shake. "I'll go get us some drinks, what would you like?" He asked "Just some grape juice will be fine" you told him. "I'll be back in a few" he said looking at him get lost in the crowd while you remained with Yeonjun.

"You're Taehyun's girlfriend right" Yeonjun asked , curiosity lingered in his voice." Oh um....no I'm just .... a friend?" You said while questioning yourself . But what were you to him a toy? friend? girlfriend?

Before you could justify your answer Taehyun came back with two drinks in his hands " You're not taking alcohol?" You asked him while said a small thanks to him "No I'm actually going to drive so I need to be sober"

"Oh....I see" you said while trying to find anything else other than standing there awkwardly with him. "Hey Taehyun come play beer pong with us!" Yeonjun yelled " sure!" Taehyun yelled back. "I'll be back " he said while facing you and he left.

You went to the the kitchen and sat on one of the stools "Hey there" you heard someone say behind you. You turned around to face the owner of the voice. "Hi" you said while smiling at him "Do you remember me?" He asked you "Um ..... I think so" you said "I'm Heeseung from class" he said hoping you remember him. " Ohhhhh ... Heeseung I'm sorry I couldn't really recognize you for a bit ,you sit behind me right" you questioned him " yeah."

From Taehyun's view he saw Heeseung flirting with you . You were laughing with him while hitting his arm . He doesn't deserve to see your beautiful smile. He went over to you and Heeseung and before you knew it you were being grabbed and found yourself upstairs in a room . "What the hell Taehyun what is wrong wi-" " Do you like him" he interrupted " no he's my classmate" you said while he stook a few steps near you until your back hit the door "good" was all he said until he pressed his lips on yours.

His lips were sweet and soft like strawberries

He leaned back and he pressed his forehead against yours while he his hands were on your waist " Fuck.... I'm sorry I couldn't help-" this time you kissed him while finding your fingers through his hair. "Shut up and just kiss me" you mumbled on his lips

He lifted you up, signaling you to wrap your legs around his waist as he led you to the bed "Shit, baby you just don't know what you've done to me" he said as you stared at his dark eyes screaming out lust.

He trailed kisses along your neck until he found your sensitive spot "mmh" you hummed while trying to find relief for the problem between your legs . You switched positions with you on top of him while grinding against his hard on "Fuck..... baby stop" Taehyung said while his hands were on your waist to still your movements.

He flipped you two again and he removed his shirt . You quietly admired his toned body while moving your hand to slide it down his abs. "What do you want me to do" he asked while liking his lips " I-I want you to..." You looked away but be forced you to look at him " No no no , baby look at me go on what you do you want me to do" He said while waiting for your answer " I want you to -fuck- to eat me out" you told him .

You removed your dress and unhooked your bra so you only had your underwear on. He leaned forward to kiss you hungrily. Taehyun dipped his head low so that he could suck your right nipple . "Oh ... Mmh fuck!" You moaned while pulling his hair as he pinched your another nipples to give it the same attention. " S-shit I need y-you now please" you begged him and he gladly listened and pulled you panties down while seductively looking at you "aww is my baby wet" you eagerly nodded your head but he wasn't happy with the answer " Baby use your words" " Yes I'm sorry wet for you and only you" you said as he stared at your glistening cunt and he kissed your clit. "Please fuck me" you said but he looked at you and just said " baby I'll fuck you later, daddy first has to have his meal." He said as he licked his lips

This was going to be a long night.....

~ The chill night wind rushed past you as you ran down the street. You didn’t come from a well-off area. In fact, you lived in the worst side of town. Only the strong survived here. But you weren’t strong, at least not strong enough to keep your family off you. So you ran.

It was dangerous for an 11 year old girl to be alone here, especially at night. But anything had to be better than that house of nightmares.

You came up to a gas station where the roads met, outer lights flickering and windows barred. There was a stench in the air you were all too familiar with, your eyes immediately spotting the source. You saw some people sitting on the ground behind the building, smoking cigarettes. The fire that caught your eye was lower to the ground though, burning something else.

You hid behind the dumpster before they could see you. You were too far away to make out their features, but you knew nothing good would come out of revealing yourself. You hadn’t taken much with you, just some cash you stole from your parents. And one of your dad’s hunting knives. You couldn’t take any chances. You already know of many things that have occurred on these streets. You put your hand in your pocket, gripping the knife in an attempt to keep yourself grounded.

A growling broke your concentration. Something grabbed your arm, forcing your hand out of your pocket. The harshness of the grip made you drop the knife and panic immediately overtook you. “Huh, well what are you doing out so late, Sweetheart?” The man yanked you out from behind the dumpster. A large dog barked in the distance. You tried to break free from the man, but his grip remained solid. He dragged you behind the building to join the others. “Our lucky night, huh?”

“Awe, how cute.” The woman in front of you chirped. Another man stood beside her, holding back a huge hound that was viciously growling at you. She lifted the spoon and lighter closer to you, flicking the lighter on underneath. The liquid in the spoon boiled and a sickening smell released, making you gag. “Want some, Kiddo?”

You trembled in the man’s grasp. You felt his other hand reach in your pockets and pull out the small amount of money you had. “Damn, just enough for another pack of Newports.” He threw you to the ground and your knees stung when they impact the concrete. The other man brought the dog closer, so close you could feel the slobber as it growled over you. It’s eyes were savage, begging to kill.

“Tell you what,” the first man spoke up, gripping your chin to look up at the woman, who now had a syringe. “We’ll let the first time be free, but you’ll owe us for the next one. And don’t worry, money isn’t the only way to pay us back.”

You screamed and thrashed against the man as he held you down. He covered your mouth and pushed you harder onto the cement.

Until suddenly, there was no more pressure on you.

“What the fuck?!”

You looked up in time to see a small figure on top of the man. It was…a boy?

Then a gleam in the darkness.

A sickening pop. A squelching twist.

“FUCK!!”

Blood spurted as the boy pulled the knife out of the man’s body. Before you had time to react, you jumped at the sounds of gunshots and screams from behind you. The barking cut into a whelp before stopping.

You turned in time to see no more life in the open eyes of the bodies on the ground. The dog lay limp on the pavement, a dark liquid pooling around its body. A metallic odor filled your nose and your ears rang. It was hard to focus. A muted siren went off in the distance.

“Shit! Let’s go!” The boy ran up to you, gripping your wrist and yanking you from the ground. He gave you no time to recover before taking off in a run, pulling you along in his strong grip. “Come on, RUN!”

You ran as fast as you could, desperate to keep up with this strange boy, even though you were terrified of what you had witnessed. He had just killed a man, after all. The two of you bolted down the street before cutting through an alleyway. You ran into him hard as he came to a sudden stop. He didn’t let you recover before tugging at your hand to pull you up the fire escape. “Hurry!”

“I’m trying!” You squeaked as you climbed. He rushed to help you get up and onto a dark balcony. He tucked you two into the shadows and his arm reached around you, pressing you into him as you both sank down into a crouch. He motioned for you to stay silent, eyes intense in the moonlight.

You tried to quiet your breathing. You could hear plenty of cars on the street a small distance away. The sirens reappeared only to soon fade away. You started to relax. That is, until the boy’s grip on you tightened and you heard the footsteps.

A police officer appeared in the alleyway below, you could just make him out in the moonlight. You held your breath and tried to stay completely still, though your heartbeat pounded in your ears.

“Those fucking kids.” Another officer appeared next to him. “Now they’re killing homeless people? I mean, what the hell?”

“Well, at least it’s no one that’ll be missed.” The first one said. “Let’s call it a night.”

You didn’t allow yourself to breathe until their footsteps were completely gone. When the boy finally relaxed beside you was when you allowed your own body to relax. He took a deep breath before leaning his head back against the balcony wall. You looked up at the boy, suddenly feeling dizzy as everything that had just occurred hit you at once. You felt sick to your stomach.

“Hey,” you heard him say, feeling his arms wrap around you. “Shhh, it’s okay now.” He rested his head on top of yours, your face buried into his neck. It was wet. Were you crying? It was hard to focus on anything.

The boy’s strong arms stroked your back, his soft voice repeating that phrase like a mantra, until you finally calmed down. The boy waited for your heart beat to slow before cautiously letting you go. “I’m sorry.” The boy whispered. “I was about your age when I saw my first dead body.”

“Thank you,” you spoke up after a moment, “for saving me.”

The boy smiled. You finally took a moment to really look at him. He was slightly older than you. Dark hair tussled over his hooded eyes. His lips were full. Even in the dark, you could see that his smile was genuine towards you, but it did not reach his eyes. Who was this boy?

Before you were able to say anything else, his hand grasped yours and he was pulling you to your feet. “Come on, we can’t stay here.”

You didn’t argue. Where did you have to go anyway?

You followed the boy through the city, hands remaining connected. You two finally came up to a small, long-abandoned building tucked in one of the alleys. He helped you to crawl through one of the smashed windows and led you further into the building.

You entered a room without windows. The remnants of moonlight from the hole in the hallway allowed you to see two sleeping bags laid out. The boy pulled you inside, shutting the door behind you and drowning you in darkness.

“What took you guys so long?”

You jumped at the voice that came from the corner of the room. The boy scoffed, giving your hand a squeeze. “A couple cops chased us through the city.”

He leaned down and picked something off the floor. A click was your only warning before the flashlight turned on, aimed towards the new voice. Another boy. He winced as the light hit him. “Are you trying to fucking blind me?”

This boy was closer to your age. He also had dark hair but his eyes were large and piercing, only exaggerated more by his small frame. A small reflection of light brought your eyes to the gun next to him. So you had heard gunshots. Both of these boys were murderers.

“You’re pretty.”

You blinked, realizing the new boy was talking to you. You felt uncomfortable with the compliment and turned your head away.

“Thank you for being there, Taehyun,” the older boy said. “I couldn’t have handled them alone.” Taehyun. You felt the elder’s hand let go of yours, almost shocked at the sudden loneliness you felt with the loss of contact. “Hey.”

It took you a moment to notice the elder now talking to you. His hands came up to rest on your shoulders. When you still didn’t respond, his fingers caught your chin and guided your gaze to meet his. Your eyes had adjusted to the low light from the flashlight, so you easily noticed the worry in his eyes. “Uh-I-,”

“It’s ok.” He smiled down at you, releasing your chin. “You need rest.” You nodded. The adrenaline came crashing down on you and your body grew exhausted. Taehyun went to find an extra sleeping bag, leaving you two alone for a moment. “I’m really sorry that I didn’t get to you sooner.”

You didn’t know how to respond. You weren’t used to such kindness. Luckily, Taehyun reappeared, though you both looked up only to see he was empty-handed. “No luck.”

“That’s ok.” You finally spoke up. “I can sleep without one.”

“Absolutely not.” The elder countered. “You can use mine.”

“No. I don’t want you to sleep in the cold.” He had already done enough for you. You didn’t want to be any more of a burden.

“Then let’s share mine.”

Your eyes widened, but you found yourself nodding. You didn’t even know this boy’s name, let alone watching him kill a man, but you trusted him.

Taehyun got in his bag next to the two of you, turning to face away but obviously still listening. The older boy crawled into his bag, keeping it open to give you room to join him. You nestled yourself next to him, the warmth of his body engulfing you as he closed the bag. His arm wrapped around you and you tucked your face into his chest.

His scent had you feeling something you were not used to, every inhale causing you to relax more. You listened to his heartbeat, and for once, sleep was coming easy to you.

“Y/n.” You whispered to him, words slurring with your drowsiness. “My name’s Y/n.”

The boy took a deep breath, memorizing your scent. He didn’t know what made him check out the commotion. They lived in a harsh reality where bad things happened all the time. He would usually only worry about himself and Taehyun. But the moment he saw you, bruised and battered, he couldn’t look away. And when he saw them grab you, something took over in him, and he had pounced. He had to protect you. “Yeonjun.”

As the days went by, the boys kept you fed and safe. Your bond for the boys only grew over time. Late nights were filled with shared stories. Some memories were never spoken, instead only exchanged in the gazes between understanding eyes.

An 11 and 13 year old from the same foster home. Runaways, like you. Rejected from their “family,” like you. You shared more with them than they did with you, and you could tell they had more stories left untold, but you never pushed. Still, fire rose in the two boys eyes whenever they saw the marks your family had given you. Many of the bruises had faded by now, but some still remained.

The boys took it upon themselves to teach you how to survive. They taught you how to pickpocket and steal. You asked Yeonjun to teach you how to fight with a knife. Taehyun tried to teach you how to use his gun, but your nerves always got the better of you once you held it.

They were strong and warm. They never obtained a third sleeping bag and you actually found yourself grateful, feeling safest in their arms. You’ve grown addicted to their scent, even the hint of tobacco from their cigarettes. The one smell that used to have you quaking in fear now helped you fall asleep.

Some nights, the three of you went out in the city, pickpocketing drunk club-goers. Other nights, you stayed with Taehyun at the hideout while Yeonjun went out. He never said where he was going, but you also never asked. He would stay out late and you found yourself never able to sleep without the both of them there. Yeonjun usually came back before dawn, but something was always off. You could never tell quite what, nor did you ever allow him to know you were awake.

Some nights were special. The nights Yeonjun successfully stole alcohol, for example. Those nights were bright with laughs and fun. One night was filled with tears. Many nights ended with the three of you lying on the floor, arms and legs wrapped amongst each others, sleeping bags forgotten.

Sometimes there were soft kisses shared. You three never spoke of those nights come morning. It never led to more, but you still didn’t exactly understand your feelings. Still, one thing was for certain: you weren’t lonely anymore. You were safe, you were actually happy.

They promised to take you away one day, always with serious eyes, whether sober or not. One night, Yeonjun found the rough circular scars from when your father put out cigars on your arm. You spent the whole night trying to calm him down, the rage in his eyes terrifying you.

“I promise, we’ll get you as far away from them as possible.” Yeonjun gasped, arms wrapped tight around you, trying to mask that he was holding back tears of fury. “I fucking promise you, Y/n.”

Then the day came. The boys that found you were suddenly ripped away from you. You three slept soundly, right before everything went to hell.

Gunshots.

Both boys jumping to action. Taehyun grabbing you and taking off while yeonjun reached for the gun. He fired a few rounds back before following you two. The three of you ran down the alleys, gunshots unending. Then, a hit.

“Fuck!”

Yeonjun stumbled and rolled against the pavement. Red painted his calf.

“No!” Taehyun, letting go of your hand and running back to Yeonjun.

You heard a scream.

Sirens.

They showed up in minutes.

Yeonjun lying on the pavement, gripping his calf and cursing out. Taehyun, eyes feral, gun in hand.

“Freeze!”

“Drop the weapon! Hands in the air!”

When Taehyun didn’t move, Yeonjun used whatever strength he had left to knock the gun from the younger’s hands. This broke Taehyun from his rage and you watched them raise their hands in defeat. Large hands grabbed your arms and you could hear more screaming.

“Get off her!” Taehyun.

You spun around and came face to face with the officer. “Hey, isn’t this the missing girl?” Officers ran past you and you panicked when you heard the boy’s grunts but couldn’t see what was happening to them? “C’mon, your parents are probably worried sick.”

“No!” This time you felt the rawness of your scream, though you almost didn’t recognize your own voice. You fought, unsuccessful as the officer dragged you to the car. “No! Stop! Please!”

One arm broke free as he went to open the car door, allowing you to twist around. Through your tears, you watched as officers pinned your boys to the ground, handcuffing them. You couldn’t believe what was happening.

The officers placed you into the car and the door locked. You pressed against the window. They kept eye contact with you as the officers lifted them off the ground to stand. They weren’t fighting, eyes completely serious. The car started up and you felt yourself sobbing as you watched their figures fade away into the night.

You felt numb. You didn’t know what happened to them. The police escorted you home. Your parents acting as if they were oh-so worried about you in front of the officers, later revealing their real selves once you three were alone.

Your mom gripped your arm, manicured nails puncturing your skin. “Don’t you dare make us look bad like that ever again!”

You ripped your arm away from her. They don’t even care about you, of course. “Leave me alone.”

You turned in the direction of your room, but was abruptly shoved back by your father. “Where the fuck do you think you’re going? Where’s my knife, huh?” Another shove which backed you against the wall. “And my money you stole, you fucking thief.”

“You’re so ungrateful, Y/n.” Your mom added. “We work hard just for you to steal from us and run off?”

You knew better than to keep fighting. You’ve received many bruises from doing so in the past. But you had finally found something, something truly incredible. Two boys who rescued you, took you in, and actually fucking cared about you. And they were taken from you. “Go to hell.”

You didn’t even flinch when your mom’s palm flew to your face. In fact, you’re not sure if you even felt it, only knowing it happened from the SLAP that rang out upon contact.

You stayed silent as you let them rage on. The faces of the boys, your boys, kept haunting your mind. Where were they right now? Was Yeonjun going to be okay?

Once their tirade was over, they finally dismissed you. You isolated yourself in your room, and that was where you stayed.

The days were bleak, the nights full of restless sleep. You left your room for school, but not much else. You picked up some bad habits, like stealing alcohol from your mom, or smoking weed in the park on your way home. You felt more hopeless and alone than ever before, but somehow, life went on.

What felt like both a blink in time and an eternity later, you entered high school. Waves of teenagers flooded the halls. You ghosted through the crowd just like you’ve ghosted through life for the past 3 years. The day passed by you like every other had, grey and uninteresting.

On your walk home through the park, you stopped to smoke. You found a bench tucked away near the trees, pulling out your joint and lighter. You slipped the end of the paper between your lips, bringing the lighter up, ready to become numb with a flick of the flame.

“It is you.”

Your heart stopped, your body froze. That voice.

Arms enveloped you. Hugs strong enough to break you. But you knew you were safe.

The joint fell from your lips, completely forgotten as your world suddenly brightened.

There they were. Your boys.

They were older, stronger. They had found you again.

You cried. You cried and cried in their arms. They held you and let it happen. Yeonjun rubbed your back, Taehyun stroked your palm with his thumb. You noticed they were both taller than you now.

When you finally calmed down, breathing even, Yeonjun held your face in his hands. “We thought we saw you in the hallway, we had to be sure.” His thumbs stroked your cheeks and his eyes bore into yours. There it was, that stony seriousness his eyes always held. “I still plan on keeping my promise.”

You didn’t even try to stop yourself. Your lips met his, light but still sharing the years of loneliness. His lips lingered for a moment before pulling away and kissing your forehead.

“Damn, did you not miss me?” Taehyun teased from behind you. You giggled in Yeonjun’s arms before pecking Taehyun’s lips. You never thought you would feel this way again. Safe, happy, complete. You were meant to be in their arms.

“Since when do you smoke?” The elder inquired, eyeing the neglected joint on the grown. You only replied with a kiss to his cheek, smiling so wide it almost hurt. You haven’t smiled much since you lost them.

The memory of that night haunted you. But you were older now, too. Smarter. You wanted to know every detail of what happened to them after that night. The sun was starting to lower, reminding you that your parents were expecting you home soon. Taehyun noticed the change in your eyes. “Don’t go back to them.”

Tears threatened to spill over your eyes. “I don’t fucking want to.”

“Then come with us.” Yeonjun offered. “We’ll run away again. It’s what we know. We could make it.”

You didn’t hesitate. “Please, take me away.”

You had a plan. Go home, grab a couple things, wait for your parents to fall asleep. The boys would be waiting for you in a truck Yeonjun somehow obtained. You wouldn’t be surprised if he’d stolen it. They had parked further along the street, trying to wait patiently for you.

You packed your book bag with some clothes and food before something crossed your mind. You knew it would be risky, but you also knew trucks needed gas. And gas costs money. You crept up to your parents room before cautiously turning the nob. Somehow you were able to pull a $50 from your dad’s wallet before closing the door without a sound. Now, you were ready. You crept down the stares, carefully opening the front door.

“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?”

No.

“Think you can steal from me and just leave, again?” You took off, making it halfway through the front yard before he grabbed you. You fought against him, his grip tightening before he threw you onto the damp grass.

“Get the fuck away from her!” Yeonjun. You almost didn’t recognize his voice. There was something lethal in his tone. And suddenly your dad was off you. You turned in time to see him and Yeonjun on the ground, Yeonjun on top delivering blows to your father’s face. “Don’t fucking touch her!”

“What the hell?” Your mother appeared in the doorway. The momentary distraction allowed your dad a chance to hit Yeonjun back, knocking him off.

“Stop!” Your strained cry rang out. You reacted on instinct, throwing yourself in front of Yeonjun to take your dad’s next punch.

It stung and you heard ringing.

“Y/n, Yeonjun, fuck!” You heard Taehyun’s muted voice. Then, piercing pops. You knew that noise too well. Gunshots.

Your mom screamed.

You regained your focus. You were on the ground next to Yeonjun, who was also trying to restore his senses. You looked up to see your dad. The handgun he kept on his hip drawn, aimed at the boy in front of him, who also had a gun pointing back. You weren’t sure whose shots those just were.

Sirens began in the distance.

“Yeonjun, let’s go!” Taehyun commanded, eyes never leaving the man in front of him, gun ready.

“I’m not leaving her!” Yeonjun snarled.

“It hurts me too!” Taehyun countered. “But we won’t be any use to her if we’re thrown back in jail!”

Yeonjun groaned, turning to face you. “I’m sorry, Baby. I’m so fucking sorry.”

Tears filled your eyes, but you nodded, getting up to face your father. The look you gave him could’ve poisoned him. He stared back at you, lowering his gun. Still, you yanked it from him before he could react, pointing it at him. His eyes widened in fear as you spoke. “Let them go.”

He nodded. With that, Yeonjun allowed Taehyun to help him up, but his eyes remained on you. He watched as you kept the gun strained on your father, hands steady. You were only 14. Then again, so was Taehyun. Yeonjun wanted to protect the both of you from the harsh reality of the world, but he was failing.

Once Taehyun got Yeonjun on his feet, both boys faced you. Their eyes held the most serious of expressions. “We’ll be back for you, Y/n,” Taehyun promised.

Yeonjun’s hand cupped your cheek and you leaned into his touch. Tears spilled over your eyes, wetting his fingers. His eyes, usually unreadable, were now flooded with emotion. “I love you, Y/n.” He kissed your forehead. “I swear it.”

And with that, they got in the truck, and sped off.

They were no longer in school. Birthdays went by without care. 15, 16, 17, 18. Then, graduation. Your parents didn’t even show up. They didn’t really interact with you much after that night, but you were glad. Your mom kept drinking, your dad smoking more cigarettes in a day than you’ve ever seen and the stench always burned your nose.

Once the ceremony was over, the parking lot flooded with people. And yet, there they were.

Parked in a red pickup truck, Yeonjun at the wheel and Taehyun in the passenger seat, there they were. When Taehyun noticed you, he immediately alerted the elder. Your eyes met theirs. You couldn’t stop yourself, you broke out into a run. Yeonjun got out and caught you in the biggest embrace, his strong arms almost suffocating you, but you didn’t care. He lifted you into the truck and you scooted into the middle of the bench seat, hugging Taehyun next to you.

Taehyun kissed your forehead. “We missed you,” he admitted. His eyes seemed to have aged twice as fast as his body. What had they been up to? You decided to ignore that for now. They were here.

“I missed my boys too.” You said, squeezing his hand as your lips met his.

Yeonjun got situated in the car, hand resting on your thigh. He turned on the car, not minding you and Taehyun making out beside him. “Let’s get out of here.”

Finally.

The three of you spent days on the road. You had some graduation money and you learned that they had been planning this for a while, as they had built up a decent savings. Enough to keep you all fed, refill on gas, and get a motel room when needed.

As the sun fell behind the trees, Yeonjun told you how in fact they had been planning this. They had to do it in a way to give you the best opportunity. Although both of them wanted to face your parents, especially Yeonjun. He never lost that fire in his eyes whenever your now-past home life was on topic.

Three days of taking turns sleeping and driving before you three finally stopped at a motel. Though there was legally nothing your parents could do now, you wanted to be sure they couldn’t find you. The three of you checked in to a small motel off the highway. The desk attendant gave a strange look when you three asked for a one bedroom, but you paid them no mind.

Finally, they came back. Finally, they took you away.

Once you three got situated in the room, Yeonjun suggested to all get some rest. As you changed into your pajamas, a thin camisole and shorts, you turned to meet a half-naked Yeonjun. Your cheeks blushed but you couldn’t help how your eyes traveled his chest. He was definitely older.

He stepped closer to you, eyes warm, but intense. “Y/n-,”

You cut him off with a deep kiss. It was a long moment before you two broke away. Tears streaked your cheeks. “Thank you for keeping your promise,” you mumbled against his lips.

Taehyun’s arms wrapped around your waist from behind and his lips grazed the shell of your ear. “No need to thank us.” He kissed your neck with purpose. Goosebumps erupted on your skin at the grazing of his teeth and you let out a whimper. “You’re ours.”

You let them devour you. Yeonjun’s tongue danced along your lips, sending a delicious feeling through your body. This was more than those drunk nights in their hideaway. This time, you were all completely sober. Nothing felt more right than being with them.

Taehyun’s lips trailed your neck before returning to your ear. “Our girl.” His growling in your ear, his possessiveness, his hands needing your waist, had your knees weak.

Yeonjun pulled away from your lips with a pop. “Fuck, Taehyun.” He spun you around, allowing the younger to taste your lips as he took to decorating your neck. “No one touches our girl but us.”

They were driving you crazy. It was almost overwhelming, but you found your body to be really enjoying it. Yeonjun‘s teeth met a bruise Taehyun had just left and the dull pain had you gasping. Taehyun used the opportunity to slipped his tongue between your lips.

Yeonjun wrapped his long fingers around your throat from behind, forcing you to whine into the younger’s mouth. Taehyun groaned, his own fingers tangled in your hair, keeping you close. You felt Yeonjun’s other hand slither up your shirt, gliding his fingers over your stomach. He laughed at your squirming. “Are you enjoying all this attention, Baby?” He whispered into your ear, fingers trailing towards your breasts. You thought you were going to cry with how riled up they were making you.

Taehyun suddenly broke the kiss. Your swollen lips chased after his, but he tightened his grip on your roots. Taehyun‘s other hand dove into your shorts, immediately finding your clothed clit. “Fuck,” he growled, which only ignited your body more as Yeonjun groped your breasts. “I need to see every inch of you.”

In one swift movement, Taehyun pulled off your shorts and underwear. Yeonjun followed by swiftly removing your shirt, the cold air arousing your nipples. Both boys took you in, eyes completely focused on you. They met eyes before each one took a nipple in their mouth. Their tongues and teeth rolled around the buds and you couldn’t hold back the noises they were drawing out of you.

One of their hands, you couldn’t focus on who’s exactly, began massaging your ass cheek. Another hand reached down to stroke your inner thigh. So close to where you needed them. You couldn’t take it anymore.

“Please.” Your small squeak made them both stop their actions and look up at you. As your eyes went from one gaze to the other, all you saw were pools of dark depths.

“Fuck,” Yeonjun must have been growing as impatient as you, his large hand reaching down to your wet folds. He stuck two fingers in with ease, but the sudden intrusion still made you yelp. Yeonjun gently shushed you as his fingers opened you up. The pain quickly shifted to pleasure and you started rocking against his fingers. “That’s my girl. Use my hand to get off, yeah?”

His words were deeply affecting you, your hips picking up the pace. He began pumping into you at a bullet speed and you nearly screamed, your release building fast.

Without warning, your released crashed through you. You had no time to feel embarrassed as Yeonjun kept pumping his fingers, letting you ride out the high. When your body calmed down and you opened your eyes, he was watching you with absolute awe.

You kissed Yeonjun before turning to find Taehyun stroking himself. You reached towards him, but he grabbed your hand. “We finally have you all to ourselves.” He said, smiling down at you. “No need to rush, Baby. Besides,” he leaned down, lips grazing your own, “I like to watch.”

His lips crashed into yours briefly before he sat back up, but he never let go of your hand. Unbeknownst to you, Taehyun blamed himself a good bit for that night. He shouldn’t have let go of your hand, shouldn’t have let those cops take you. Now, as Yeonjun wrapped your legs around his waist, filling you up and making you feel so fucking good, Taehyun firmly held your hand. He would never let go again.

The boys took turns with you, drowning you in love and attention. They made you feel things beyond imagination and you basked in the warm glow that was them. You and your boys. The night didn’t end until you three were too exhausted to continue.

The next morning, you woke up between them, their warmth blanketing you as their limbs draped around your figure. You wanted more than anything to stay like this forever. But it was time to leave.
