Inspired by the design and art of @cyborb! I really love their drawings of Cyrus and how much personality they give him. Cyrus is a silly little guy. Controversially, I gave him eyebrows… but compromised by making them just lines.

Also now that i know how to draw cyrus i do not plan on stopping anytime soon :3 next step is to draw saturn and Jupiter cause i haven’t really planned on drawing them yet.

So I remembered this one time I drew Cyrus as a Pokémon and I managed to find the picture I posted on Reddit.
My whole thought process was “What would happen if Cyrus adapted to the distortion world and became a Pokémon?”
Former/reformed Team Galactic Admin you say? Hmm... Based on the fact on one of your old posts of how he's questioned if Team Galactic should keep trying to search for Cyrus, I feel as though he would be helping Ingo and Akari after also hearing about what Team Galactic used to be. The times of The Galaxy Expedition Corps. Being seen as Cyrus' second in command and the strongest Admin too- I like to think he's been dealing with the remains of Team Galactic for Ingo and Akari while also low-key helping them by sending false leads to their location to authorities- though, imagine the public outcry once he's found out. Team Galactic's strongest admin, helping these Pokemon Thieves- people are really cemented and thinking Akari might be Cyrus' heir and new the leader taking after him. (Funny idea though highly unlikely: Cyrus is actually that one admin helping the Duo. He, after a long time (for him) being stuck in the Distortion World, somehow sees the past once he bonded with Giratina, learning the error of his ways upon seeing himself and his past actions as well as Volo's- well... He cannot make up for the shit he caused. He can, however, try to earn some form of redemption and helping Akari deal with the authorities before things can clear up. His weird way of apologizing and saying thank you before he goes back to his exile in the distortion world once more) -Nezu >:3
At this time I will say Cyrus will not be making an appearance in this fic. Saturn however..,
This is a great idea for Saturn! He can have a little ‘learning the error of his ways’ and redemption, as a treat. After a bit of an identity crisis  of course. And it will drum up controversy later for Ingo and Akari once his and team galactics involvement is discovered!
And it’s good for team galactic to have someone competent wrangling them on their new path to turning over a new leaf. They’re still a bit confused but they got the spirit.
Ooo, everyone calling Akari Cyrus heir… which is great because I will be writing out the Hisui goodbyes and Professor Laventon and Captain Cyllene will both have a touching farewell where they assure her she will always be a respected member of Galaxy Team.
I love this and will definitely be keeping this in mind!
