The Hard Way Ask - Tumblr Posts
This is a bit of a silly what if question,
But what it be like if ando and the lamb swapped roles (whether it be as an au (where like ando became a cult leader and the lamb died) or if they just randomly decided to swap each other clothing for a day as a joke).
I'm surprised and happy to receive this question (OwO)
Lucky for you, I'm two steps ahead of you (>v<)/

By February of this year, I had already started thinking about what would happen if my two sheep swapped places. I even gave it the name “The Hard Way,” where Ando is forced to wear the red crown after refusing to be the lamb of the prophecy, imposed by The One Who Waits, upon understanding that everything he suffered was due to a family dispute.
This begins a hate relationship between Ando and The One Who Waits, with the obvious ending that he would betray him for denying him the eternal rest that his soul longed for. There was no subtlety here, and Narinder knew that.
Therefore, he was ready.
And still, he lost.
This AU is a bit sad, as Ando got so lost in his anger that when he gained control, he found himself at a dead end, unable to die as it was now death itself, and with the awareness that to give up the crown, he would have to choose another candidate and he... was not willing to impose this responsibility on anyone.
So he eventually went crazy and ended up destroying his world, giving in to the delirium that only then he could rest.
That ending was based almost entirely on my playthrough, where I decided to play as Ando in hard mode and encountered a new type of difficulty that changed the way I play and manage the cult. ¿The result?
I got a morally dubious and emotionally stunted Ando, whose interpersonal relationships ranged from his first husband, whom he cheated on twice (not intentionally), his beloved little brother (who hooked up with half a bishop XD), and a punching bag (Narinder), who dared to tell him that he loved him in front of his first husband. Obviously, on purpose.
So…yeah.
I may have thought a little about “¿What if…?”, with my lamb and Ando swapping roles XP
As for exchanging clothes <(ouo)>
I feel like the lamb could get away with that joke if Ando was willing to swap his clothes because, as you can imagine, he's too embarrassed to wear just the fleece XD
Although I think I could draw that, ¡thanks for the idea!
Do you have any wholesome non "canon" senerios/endings for au cult leader ando. I'm crying :'(
I have a canon happy moment from the AU; does that work for you? (óvò)

Ando, unlike the lamb in the main AU, does tell his little brother what the golden skull necklace is, and as you can see, that blessed one only understood «immortality = you can't die». Deciding to immediately test that theory by jumping off a cliff.
My lamb is something special.
Now I would like to comment that in this AU, the theme of the golden skull necklace is used for what it is: a necklace that only grants one more long life, but it does not make you immune to death itself. So it was quite obvious that that fall would have ended the life of our favorite little lamb with just a few days back in the land of the living.
Luckily for him, Ando knew what he was getting into when he decided to bring him back XD
Although his return ended up having an adverse effect on Ando's mental state...
But you asked for something wholesome, so ignore that last /(>u<)\
In the AU of the leader Ando, what is the relationship between Ando and Narinder? (If he has forgiven him, of course) If he has forgiven him, do Narinder and the little lamb end up having a romantic relationship or not? And, what would be Ando's reaction upon seeing that his little brother likes the black cat?
I would like to start by saying that between Ando and Narinder, there was no forgiveness.

Ando resented him enough to put aside his greatest wish (that of “resting in peace”), deciding from that moment on that now that he had his power, he would use it against him at all costs.
Also including the idea of allying himself with one of the bishops to finally ensure that The One Who Waits could never escape again. Unfortunately, he had no luck on that part.
The bishops only saw him as his pawn, the prophesied lamb, the monster that would kill them, and listened to nothing more.
So seeing that more than potential allies, they were obstacles, Ando decided to meet their expectations.
And he killed them.
After all that, Ando took the risk of facing Narinder on his own. Armed only with his thirst for justice, fervent wrath, and the power of the red crown, Ando fought to the death.
Over and over again.
Until almost destroying his soul.
As for Narinder, in his arrogance, he saw Ando as just “a little inconvenience” that he could get rid of later. When everything was done.
Although, in the end, the prophecy finally acted in favor of Ando, and in the face of his defeat, Narinder, enraged, challenged him to end his life if he wanted it so much.
And Ando did want to.
However…
Despite the hatred he had for him, Ando could not find enough willpower within himself to kill him.
No matter how much pain he had put him through, no matter how much hate he had made him accumulate, he couldn't do it. He couldn't face Death.
Nor the emptiness that would bring.
The rest is history.
Narinder became his follower, and Ando, in his inner tirade, could only question the true nature of that decision.
Without really reaching a conclusion.
Moving on to happier things...
The lamb, like Ando in the main AU, had no idea of the real reason why his species was hunted to the point of extinction.
So Ando, as his older brother, took it upon himself to quickly bring him up to date. Letting him know in every way possible about the role Narinder played during all that massacre and how much he would hate for him to take action against the lamb just for the simple fact of being his brother.
Pretty much warning the lamb to stay away from him.
A warning that, surprisingly, the lamb did hear.
Although with mixed results.

After all, Ando still couldn't catch a break in this life. ¿Right? XD
¡Thanks for asking!
*Rise the hand to do a question*
Excuse me miss, Will your Au be focused especifically after Ando’s arrival or will it touch to like all the game lore and the postgame relations with the emo cat and the bishops?
Also, talking about the swap Au, Andy looks sooo cute. If Ando made something that hurt them, no matter in wich way, then that lamb should be crucified, cooked, and served as lambchops.
That had been the plan.
Originally, the whole story was going to revolve around Ando and his arrival at the cult and how he was going to adapt… but I realized that I also wanted to explore other things besides that.
Like, for example, the process of Ando's resurrection, the aftermath of the descent of the divinity of the lamb, some internal conflicts with Narinder, and something related to the red crown.
I don't know if I'll put the whole story of the game, although most likely I will, since I have something related to one of the bishops, so... we'll see.
Lamb chops XD
Thanks, I'm glad to know that Andy has received a lot of love from everyone besides his pathetic husband (>v<)
Look how happy he looks too hehe

As for your question…
Ando was a quite capable and intelligent bearer of the red crown, being cautious in his every move, as his time as well as the life imposed on him were not things he was willing to waste.
So every decision he made was made in order to increase his strength and power, so that only then could he face Narinder at his maximum capacity.
Unfortunately, this strategy did not take his followers into account.
To Ando, they were people whose lives were placed under his care, and while he did not despise them, he saw them as needy and fickle in their loyalty and faith. So he only focused on fulfilling his role and abiding by whatever their wishes were, whether they were food, shelter, or love.
So because of that way of thinking, Ando ended up making a mistake.
A mistake that Andy never let him forget.
I'm quite tempted to draw the events that led to their tense dynamic, as well as how it also contributed to the ending that Ando imposed on his own world |vO)
Now that I mention it, I could do it.
Anyway.
¡Thanks for asking! (ouo)/
Could you tell us more about the relationship between Ando and Andy? They’re adorable.
¿What can I say to you? (ouo)
It was a pretty sweet relationship, according to Andy; from the day he rescued him until the day he accepted his heart, Andy felt loved and appreciated like no one else in the cult.
Until Ando returned from a crusade, their marriage was perfect.
If only that could have lasted a little longer than 3 days.
Things wouldn't have had to end... the way they did.
Someday I'll show you what happened, but for now, this is all (owo)
¡Thanks for asking!
Excuse me miss.
May I ask, What did Ando thoughts were about their relation with Andy?
Cause, come on! They even slept together, something had to be there.
Anyways, the comic was so cute (Most of it, cause the last part just increased my wishes of seeing that sheep served as lambchops) and I love Andy even more now, that dog deserves something better.
Love ur art, drink water.
I'm glad to know that, I've been working on that comic for weeks and I'm happy that a lot of people liked it (>u<)
And of course, I love questions (ouo)
Let's see...
According to Ando, Andy was his spouse.
Andy proposed marriage and he accepted. They celebrated the wedding. He fulfilled.
But on the other hand, Andy was, at best, a friend. A friendly face that managed to console him from his long and tedious crusades. A reliable companion to whom he could delegate difficult tasks such as gathering supplies or pleasantly integrating new followers.
Andy was a good support and a good listener. Loyal and obedient.
Andy was a good follower.
That's why Ando couldn't reject him.
Ando began the cult with a small mare and the intermittent assistance of Ratau. Thanks to him he learned to work in the large territory that the odious deity deigned to give him, but he was given nothing more than that.
With most of the Red Crown's power blocked and a mouth to feed, Ando was forced to go out, facing the hateful death that seemed to lurk around every corner. Bringing barely enough so that his only follower could survive.
Each journey was accompanied by the constant threat of low faith, disloyalty, and dissatisfaction with the few comforts Ando could barely provide.
Like a bed of leaves under the night sky and a kitchen whose only function paled in the absence of food.
The temple had barely begun its construction.
Ando needed help and support, but at the same time, he could not afford to bring more people.
The disappointment of the previous bearer made him know that he could not count on him either, beyond occasional help and some practical advice.
And Ando couldn't blame him. No.
If he had had the option... he too...
Anyway.
His cult was not in a position to accept more people.
At least, for a while.
His second follower was the first boss of the Chaos Bishop; things calmed down a bit, and Ando achieved enough stability within the cult to consider bringing in a new follower.
And he found Andy.
He saved him from being sacrificed by heretics, took him by the hand, and told him that everything would be okay. And Andy believed him, despite his tired look and his multiple wounds, and agreed to be sent to the cult.
He disappeared behind the teleportation portal, and when Ando returned, Andy was the first to greet him. With praise and happiness.
It was the best thing he had brought to the cult after all Ando had been dealing with.
Andy was a comfort.
But if Ando is honest, if he had the option to do things differently, he would have done so.
Because, despite his actions, Ando never intended to hurt Andy. Or anyone.
Except, of course… Narinder.
This doesn't justify it, but I hope I've given some context to your question (ouo)
There's a lot more I want to say about this, but I'll leave it at that for now.
¡Thanks for asking!
