The Heirs - Tumblr Posts
kim tan and choi young do from the heirs who i only know rohan and abhimanyu from student of the year
watching a kdrama is like - getting excited because she put her head on his shoulder in the 11th episode
the inheritors (the heirs)

i faced my true beauty trauma.
your honour it's not my fault my fictional bad boy slays girlbosses gatekeeps gaslights harder than the main character
what i absolutely hate about (most) kdramas is that the guy always seems to be more into the girl than vice versa. i understand shyness and stereotypes, yk, but it’s so painful seeing the guy making efforts while the girl doesnt even pay him mind until he does it? and there’s countless examples, too
ofc there are exceptions but… annoying
What to watch next?

watching the heirs be so fun when u dont have a bitch in ur ear telling u how corny it is
officer black belt is making kim woobin popular and even though i should be happy i am NOT 💜 been my man since the heirs and NOW yall wanna come through smh
let me tell you
on this broken bloody plain
that exists inside my brain
where my comrades hope and trust and love
lay there dead and slain
by my infernally eternal internal blame
that those nights i spent crying and alone
wanting nothing more than to be at home
when i already was in the only one i ever had
that those nights i spent trembling and shaking
with tears contained and breathing strained
no they were not my breaking
instead they were an awakening
as flames of self-hatred and despair
fueled because you didn't care
forged me anew as i rose again
so let me tell you on this broken bloody plain
that exists inside my brain
where my comrades hope and trust and love
lay there dead and slain
by my infernally eternal internal blame
that i should not be the one ashamed
that i should not be the one to carry
this infernally eternal internal blame
Kdramas I have watched
21. The Heirs

This show seemed to be very popular so I was kind of saving it? I had high expectations of it because of its popularity and cast.
It has a very predictable and over used trope: rich boy + poor girl = forbidden relationship but I still found it entertaining. The character growth in this show is 👌. This seems to be heavily inspired by gossip girl right down to the characters (even their appearance!)
Overall I enjoyed it, it was funny, cute, sad, everything you could want in this type of show. I felt that the ending was a bit rushed (and a few earlier episodes were repetitive) but still worth the watch. I wish we got to see Tan's mother get her happy ending.
