Does the Dragons they choose have some significance to them?

In Dragons Rising, we see Nya choosing a Lightning Dragon to ride, and Kai choosing an Earth Dragon to ride.

Nya choosing Jiro as her main dragon to ride has some symbolism to it. Jiro is a lightning dragon. Her significant other is Jay, who is the elemental master of lightning. So Nya choosing a dragon whose powers matches her significant other is a cute and subtle symbolism to her relationship with Jay, and shows that he’s still in her thoughts.

Kai however, chooses an earth Dragon. Which corresponds to Cole’s element. It’s reading off that Kai still thinks of Cole while they were separated. If we got Nya riding the lightning dragon which corresponds to her Significant other’s element. What does mean if Kai were to choose a dragon that corresponds to Cole’s element? The show could be hinting that there’s more going on between the two.

I mean, we see Cole ride a Fire Dragon in Virtues of Spinjitzu, and now we got Kai riding a Fire Dragon in Dragons Rising. The series literally gave us a Lava parallel with them riding a dragon that corresponds to each other’s element.

Temeraire also has the plague, and the court date for my high treason trial is set for Friday. Admin hours are still 11-12 on Mon/Wed, with your first lieutenant. You’ve probably heard of depression meals, but have you considered ADHD meals:

Literally inhaling everything in your fridge when your meds wear off and you realize you haven’t eaten all day

Can’t decide what to eat so you just sit there hungry for like an hour

Alternatively, can’t decide what to eat so you snack on everything

An entire family-size bag of chips that you absentmindedly finished while watching tv (bonus points if you barely even remember eating them)

Frozen vegetables because fresh ones go bad before you can get around to using them

Leftover takeout because you ordered it last night but had so many snacks while waiting that you were too full to eat it when it showed up

Anything microwaveable 

Eating leftovers cold right in front of the fridge because too much executive dysfunction to heat them up

Too much executive dysfunction to combine your ingredients into the meal you were planning to make so you just eat them individually

Trail mix and other super calorie dense food when you’re on your meds and can’t stomach a meal

Being overstimulated is such a weird thing to explain to people. Like "hey sorry, I'm not mad at you and this is nobody's fault and I'm not blaming anyone for it happening, I am aware this is a part of regular everyday life but I am mentally crumbling because There Have Been Things Happening nonstop for 5 hours straight back to back with no breaks, and I really need to sit down in complete silence for like 15-25 minutes, after which I will be completely fine and can proceed as normal. But if I'm not allowed to have that, I will resort to violence."
