Day #49 - Parallels
Hehe it's six this time :P
a rough Thuringwethil idea. Not really sure what she would look like apart from this honestly. I like to think thuri was one of the first to defect to Morgoth, and that she was originally of Manwe and Orome, hence the bird skull.
Thuringwethil, Herald of Sauron
Her design is based roughly on some of the descriptions of Carmilla from the book of the same name, and also Varney, Alucard, and Striga from the Castlevania series because I love that show.
I headcanon Thurigwethil as a former Maia of both Orome and Manwe who joined Morgoth out of sheer bloodlust. She was the first to take on a vampire shape, and enjoys her relatively comfortable position and the entertainment that comes from watching Morgoth and Sauron's spats.
Things that happen in Angband
Melkor forgets he needs to make his fana shorter and either bangs his head on every doorway or just smashes through them.
Gothmog has this problem too, but Gothmog has learned to preemptively blast doors/doorframes/walls/orcs
Mairon leaves shed fana around the fortress because it wasn't quite right for the work he wants to do so he just made another one. As a consequence at least twice a day some poor orc is left convinced that he's dead and the elves have snuck into the fortress
Thuringwethil attempts to snack on Melkor's Favourite Prisoner. This is not allowed, but she'll get there someday
Manwe sends letters. Or maybe sacrifices. The eagles are tasty
Maedhros learns new ways to curse. It's not like he can make anything worse by insulting Mairon's organizational system.
