Okay 7th on time this time, even though its 5 in the morning.
Alright I actually have a bit of a story for this one, so I originally drew this after I watched Day of the Diesel's. I made the origin that Percy was originally cursed by Diesel 10 and he said he'd reverse it if Percy helped him and the other were-creatures out, by helping them get some water from the mirror pool, which was basically the islands magic fountain.
Now Thomas as a centuar alicorn was in charge of protecting it as it controlled all of the magic on that continent, so thats why him and Percy fight in this instance.
10 wanted the water to help the other were-creatures as they normally use charms or elixirs to help control their animal sides, but those items are expensive to make, so that's why sir Topham Hat has trouble getting them their needs in replacement of the whole steam works debocal.
It's close to the end that 10 actually doesn't know how to reverse the curse and he was betting the mirror pool water would grant him the knowledge to fix it. So it turnes into a mad dash to the mirror pool with a transforming Percy to fix him, they get to the pool and as the clock strikes midnight Percy emerges from the water like this but completely in control of himself. The others are sad that Percy is now cursed, but the were-creatures promis to help Percy in any way they can for him to make up for what they did. And so, Percy becomes a sort of ambassador to the were-creatures and centuars, they all respect and treat him kindly for the work he does, making sure everyone gets what they need.
Another fic for @crossover-fraternity . The engines are now settled and Jayde is making sure to look after them.

Jayde flew alongside the engines as they all travelled down the line to Knapford beach. Parked on one of the larger quaysides was Jayde’s quadcopter. It was a chosen location to park after moving it away from Arlesbrugh Harbor, it was in a public area so the chances of an attack were slim, it was also not to far from Tidmouth town square so they could do some shopping if need be, it was also close to sets of track so an engine could park their locomotive not too far. Jayde touched down where the ramp to get into their quadcopter would land and watched from the quayside as the engines all got out of the locomotives and began to make their way down to where Jayde was. The humanoid quadcopter signalled for the ramp to come down, and as it began to descend Jayde slipped in to change bodies as their military body was now not needed. Jayde opened the same compartment that their military body was stored in and then closed it behind them after hopping in. In a fraction of a second Jayde’s consciousness was then transferred into their new chauffeur body. They exited their soul compartment that was under their cockpit controls and took a long stretch. They then quickly put some new clothes on before the engines arrived.
Said engines were wowed when they entered the interior, it was very modern and polished. In the centre was a huge ore of jade with a jade dragon in the middle of it like a resin cast, the walls had this Lichtenberg pattern running down them like the roots of a tree with some crystal shaped lights hanging in between them every so often.
“Welcome aboard guys, I’ll give you a small tour.” Jayde said as they welcomed them in. “To your left is the kitchen and living room, the door adjacent to the corner sofa is the bathroom. Over there is the cockpit, please don’t touch anything there unless I accompany you.” Jayde said pointing to each area specifically. The kitchen was the typical marble clean, stainless steel type of kitchen you’d expect from a modern acrolectal house. The fridge was a double doored water dispensing type, the table was smooth wood with a white top, the chairs were sets of bar stools with cushioned back rests, the floor was marble tile, you get it. The living room wasn’t much different. White velvet corner sofa, black carpet with some white spots here and there to imitate a night sky, some shelves above the couch that had some books, and a flatscreen tv in front of all of it.
“I like the wallpaper, it looks very nice.” Henry commented as they all walked in a little more to have a look around. “That ain’t wallpaper Hen, have a feel of it.” Jayde said as they monitored where the engines went exploring. When the former big green engine felt where the pattern was he realised that it wasn’t actually flat but outstretched from the wall, making it seem like their was actually a tree root entangled in the walls. Jayde smirked as they knew Henry was going to be amazed when they went upstairs. James walked around a little bit opening the bathroom door to have a peek inside. When he saw the contents it followed the same theme as the previous room. There was a large spa bathtub in the corner with a shower head above it, in the corner straight ahead of James from the door was the toilet, and to his right was the sink and a large mirror. James took to looking in that for a second. Edward had decided to sit down on the sofa and relax a little with the soft cushion caving under his weight. Thomas and Percy looked at the controls of the cockpit from afar as it all looked extremely complicated and they didn’t want to risk breaking anything. Gordon had already seen inside Jayde’s quadcopter before from when they visited with Spencer on a few occasions, but it still always surprised him with how detailed everything was. The perspective change from height was also a little jarring. Jayde placed their hand on Gordon’s shoulder and gave him a look that was asking if he was okay. The big blue engine nodded with a small smile as his answer and when Jayde was happy with it they gave him a small pat before walking over to stop Percy and Thomas from getting to close to the controls. “Guys, museum rules. Look but no touch.” “We know.” “We’re not gonna touch anything.” Percy and Thomas said as they continued their thorough inspection. Jayde chuckled under their breath a little as they found it ironic, all these engines were ether close to a hundred or over a hundred and they sometimes still acted like kids, while Jayde was the youngest person in the room not even being ten years old, and yet they were helping them get settled to be humans for a short time. Jayde smiled as they watched the two read the labels for the buttons when one specific area on the panel caught Jayde’s attention. It was a divot where a tablet would slide into, it was what Jayde used to contact Spencer whenever Jayde decided to visit Sodor and he was still in Boxford. The quadcopter couldn’t help but wonder how he was doing, they missed the big silver show off. Jayde had to push that feeling down for a second however when they needed to give the upstairs a show. “Alrighty guys, bedroom is upstairs.” Jayde gestured them to walk to the stairs and when they all reached the top the engines gasped. In the centre was a white tree with fairy lights hanging down it like a willow, a crystal light held in its trunk by roots. At the back wall was a white elaborate canopy bed, and along the walls were low loft beds with shelving underneath them. Again, everything looking very fancy and expensive. Like something ripped right out of a fantasy world.
“Before anyone asks, no; no one is getting the canopy bed. Otherwise, first come first serve. Feel free to pick a bed you want to sleep in later.” Jayde said before watching the engines explore the new room. Thomas and Percy went and picked some beds next to each other and laughed as they both bounced a little on the mattresses. “Whatever you two do, don’t stand up and jump on those, there not built for that and I quite frankly don’t want to have human brains on the floor.” Jayde warned the two tank engines. Gordon and Henry also picked out two lofts next to each other but they just rested back on them. “Oh this feels so nice…” Henry sighed as he hugged a pillow close with a smile on his face. Gordon hummed as he just laid flat on his back. “Better than a hospital bed at least.” That reminded Jayde that they would need to take all of them to a hospital to get themselves checked, the quadcopter needed to know if they had to accommodate for anything like diabetes or allergies. They also needed to log who these humans were so that their families could know piece, Jayde hatted to think about the families who Thomas and Percy’s bodies belonged to. James and Edward took beds as well but Edward had trouble climbing up the ladder as his foot slipped off a rung. “Ah!” The old engine shouted in a shock from the short fall. “Edward?” Jayde asked as they quickly walked over while the other engines looked over. “I’m fine, my foot just slipped.” Edward reassured. “Nothing hurt?” Jayde asked. “No, I’m fine.” Edward tried again to climb up but the same foot slipped again. This time Jayde caught him and placed him on the bed themself. “There we go. Now let's see why you kept on slipping.” Jayde bent down to have a look at the lofts rungs first but saw nothing wrong with them, so they moved on to have a look if Edward maybe stepped in something slippery on the way here. What Jayde saw though made their eyes widen. “Oh?” Jayde rolled Edward’s pants leg up and saw a metal prosthetic leg where a normal foot should have been. “Looks like whoever this man was, was an amputee. We certainly need to get you to a hospital tomorrow Edward, we don’t know if this man needed any medication because of this.” “A word of pre-caution everyone, hospitals are some of the most uncomfortable places on earth.” Gordon shivered. “That reminds me Gordon, do you have your discharge papers and test results on you? I could really use those to know what I need.” Jayde asked. “Their in my engine.” “Could you please go get them? Important papers like those you want to keep safe.” Gordon nodded and hopped off the bed to back downstairs and the others followed. “Alright, I wanna do a basic check-up on you guys. Take your temperatures and blood pressure and such. I’m especially worried about Henry if he nearly drowned in a kiddie pool, I wanna check for secondary drowning.” Jayde said as they pointed to the living room sofa for everyone to sit down on. “Secondary drowning?” Henry asked sounding worried. “It’s where if water gets into the lungs you can die from anywhere from a few hours later to a few days. Calm down hon, if you don’t feel any pains in your chest you should be okay.” Jayde said walking back to the group with a doctor's bag. Henry still seemed very worried so Jayde took the very friendly approach. They sat down next to him and held his hand as they put on a stethoscope. They gently hugged the tall human close, rubbing his arm until he was calm enough, then once he was breathing calmly they stuck the stethoscope under his shirt and scanned it along his back. Henry jumped a little at Jayde’s cold hand but calmed down again as Jayde used their free hand to stroke his shoulder with their thumb. “I don’t hear anything out of the ordinary… and your heart sounds nice and strong. All in all, nothing to worry about.” Jayde smiled as they took the stethoscope away and gave Henry one last hug which the engine appreciated. Just then Gordon walked back in holding the papers, he handed them to Jayde who opened them up and gave a look. “Diabetic… allergic to
dogs… good to know. I’m going to hand you a little box of medicines in it Gordon, I want you to store them under your bed.” “I’ve heard of people being allergic to certain things and I’ve also heard of diabetics, but what are ether of them specifically?” Gordon asked. “Yes, I’ve heard of those as well but have never been told in full detail what they mean. If Gordon has these I think it would serve all of us well to know what they are.” Edward said. “Both having allergies and being diabetic are actually rather common, so I wouldn’t put it past anymore of you having ether. Having allergies to something means your body can’t handle being near a specific thing, allergies are a lifelong condition as well as diabetes. So if Gordon were to go to pet a dog for example he would probably start sneezing a lot or maybe even break into hives. Hives are when the skin becomes red and starts to grow bumpy as well as swollen. Being a diabetic means your body can’t make insulin, and insulin is what your body uses to take the sugar out of food you eat. So it’s like if the fire in your fireboxes couldn’t burn the coal properly to make you steam.” Jayde explained. The engines all hummed in understanding, it making a little more sense. “Okay, now that I’ve explained that, I would like to give the rest of you check-ups. Henry, I want you to look ahead for me and don’t move your head. I’m going to check your ears.” “Why?” Henry asked. “Just for any damages. It also tells me if you need to clean them.” Jayde said grabbing an otoscope. “You guys can feel free to turn on the tv in the meantime or grab a book if you like.” “Dibs on the remote!” “Hey no fair Thomas!” James yelled at the former tank engine. Jayde sighed but had a smile on their face as they continued Henry’s check-up. “Will this take long?” Henry asked. “Only a few minuet’s, and it will go over quicker if you do as I say.” Jayde said as they turned Henry’s head back to facing forward like a child in a barbershop.
Jayde: "These have medications in them that you'll need to take. Keep them under your beds. And James and Thomas, I might need to have a private talk with you later."

G!Firemen: since I was giving DNA tests kits we are able to identify the humans who the engine have taken.
I imagen we could leave the thread here. They can get to talking to Sir Topham now at least. That was fun and awkward, and I now have some ideas to draw for these guys with them bonding a little with Jayde for the time that their human.

Jayde's list of helping them-
Thomas: Lets him sleep in and encourages him to sleep on the couch, hands him vitamin tablets that they insist he takes as a bare minimum, if that doesn't work CHOCOLATE.
Edward: Does the shopping runs with him, makes dinner with him most nights, encourages him to try new things.
Henry: Will let him help fold laundry, takes him on the shopping runs as well to mainly smell perfumes in the makeup store, makes sure he bathes last.
Gordon: has offered their old weapons for use, sits outside with him often and will often try to get him to enjoy a book or some other thing.
James: Washs the dishes with him and will often hand him cleaning products and let him run wild, has given him a tablet to entertain himself with.
Percy: Plays video games with him to keep him distracted for a bit, has given him a letter envelope plush to help with nightmares.

I'm an idiot again! I didn't realize it was the 6th of the 6th, Percy's day! I'm gonna quickly redo my mythic AU Percy and post it, see him in his cuteness in a hot minute.
How did jayde and the 8 famous engines meet how there's first impressions?
I've actually written a little fic on how Jayde met Thomas and Gordon because Spencer was invited to a gala at the national railway museum. The two were there for the event with Sir Topham Hatt and Jayde took the piss out of Thomas initially. Small cut of the story- Once they stopped at the platform of the museum for visiting engines, Jayde and Spencer exited their side of the coach and opened the door for the Duke and Duchess. When the Duchess saw that Jayde had changed she pouted. “Aw, couldn’t you even survive the trip Jayde?” she asked. “I figured it’d be more formal to show my official attire given to me by my place of origin ma’am. Besides, I feel I have a lot more to be proud of than in a dress.” Jayde said as they and Spencer took to standing behind the couple and letting them take the lead. The Duke smiled and held his wife’s arm to guide them inside whom smiled back as she held on and began to walk with.
When they entered the front doors the room came into a cheer as the graces entered the building. Soon some of the engines rolled up to Spencer who entered behind his owners with Jayde behind him. To the silver A4’s surprise Gordon was present for this event which was a rare sight. “Good to see you finally arrived Spencer, my what took you so long?” Bittern asked as he rolled to a stop in front of his silver brother. “The Duchess of Boxford was just getting my new work comrade here looking spic and span.” Spencer said smugly as he stepped aside to reveal Jayde in their military formal uniform with medals to display and all.
Most of the engines looked very surprised to see a humanoid that was able to take them in height by a head, but they were also very shocked to see that they were wearing a 100% authentic military uniform suit. “Salutations.” Jayde stoically said down to the smaller humanoids, deciding to take the micky out of them. “Ah… h-hello, whom may you be?” Green Arrow asked as he and a few of the others gave Jayde space. “No.2 of the I.A.H corps and support of the A.R.H.I. But you may call me Jayde. Now, who are you ivory locomotive?” Jayde said looking sternly at Green Arrow.
Though it was Flying Scotsman himself who came to his cousins seeming rescue. “Why hello then Jayde, pleasure to meet you. I am the Flying Scotsman, and this is my cousin Green Arrow. This here is my brother Gordon, that one there is Bittern, next to him a little away is Mallard, a bit behind us is Duchess of Hamilton, and a lot of others are still in the main hall.” Scotsman said. Jayde clicked their tongue before looking to Spencer. “Quite the odd nuclear family you have Spencer, though, I shouldn’t be one to judge.” Jayde then took a few steps forward and began to float up into the air. “Shall we old silver?” the quadcopter grinned cheekily before pushing off into the main hall. “Oh you cheap shot young plastic!” Spencer cheered as he moved off after them.
The others were quick to follow also but so they could chat more to Spencer about the new comer. Once they entered the main hall where the preserved engines bodies were sitting they could see Jayde and Spencer move in to stand by their owners who were talking to Sir Topham Hatt. They caught up to Spencer and pulled him aside to talk while Jayde landed close by to their owners.
“Ah, here they are now. Jayde, I would like you to meet Sir Topham Hatt, controller of the north-western railway on Sodor.” The Duke said as he watched Jayde land beside them. “Oh, well hello sir Topham.” Jayde said as they offered their hand out for a shake. The stout gentlemen returned the shake in kind with a smile on his face. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Jayde. From what the Duke here told me you’re former military, and I can see you have a few medals.” Sir Topham said as they scaled the humanoid up. “Yes sir, I served in Iraq for two years before being withdrawn from service.” “How come? I would have thought you’d have a far longer working career than that.” “Oh… it was due to ill management sir. A chain of events that ended up in a disaster. I’d rather not speak of it.” “Completely understandable, but while I have you here I was wondering if you would like to meet my engines that I brought with me today, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing them again at some point if you ever come to Sodor along with Spencer someday.” “I’d like that sir, are they close by?” “Yes, Gordon! Thomas! Could you come over here please?”
Sir Topham called out to his two blue engines who both began to head over to his location. Thomas was a hot topic at this event as many photographers came to get a picture of him, the world’s most famous engine in media. And Gordon was in a group huddle with the other engines talking to Spencer when he heard his name being called.
The two came over and stood at attention in front of their owner. “Yes sir?” Thomas asked. “Thomas, Gordon, I’d like you to meet the Duke and Duchess of Boxford’s newest purchase, Jayde the Quadcopter. I expect they’ll be coming over to Sodor this summer with the graces annual summer vacation. So I’d like to get introductions sorted now.” “Ah, I believe someone already introduced me to Gordon before when Spencer showed me to his relatives. But let’s be honest here, the tank engine that needs no introductions, it’s amazing to meet you Thomas.” Jayde said as they kneeled down and offered a hand to the little engine.
Thomas smiled shakily and gently grasped Jayde’s hand to shake it. “It’s nice to meet you mister.” the Duke and Duchess along with Spencer gritted their teeth with an expression that read- ‘uh oh’ when Thomas called Jayde mister. Jayde decided to play a little joke with Thomas once the opportunity aroused, they didn’t let go of Thomas’s hand as they glared with an angry expression to the little loco in front of them. “‘Mister’?” they stoically question with the engines face quickly turning fearful. “I am female. You call me miss.” Gordon backed away from the little seemingly soon to be dead tank engine with sir Topham looking to the Duke and Duchess for them to hopefully intervene.
When the number 1 engine started to attempt to back away Jayde suddenly broke out into a fit of laughter. “Pfft! Hahahahaha! Oh my god you should see the look on your face! Haha!” Thomas was suddenly very confused until it clicked that Jayde was messing with him. “Ooohhh, very good! Haha! You got me hook line and sinker just then.” The little engine laughed. “Hehe, yep. Always fun to take the micky out of unsuspecting little machines. But in all seriousness, I am a girl and not even a decade old, so I am really to be addressed as miss.” “Oh, well, my bad then, it’s a pleasure to meet you miss.” Thomas repeated. “Oh please, call me Jayde. Now, I believe proper introductions are to be had with you Gordon, I’ve been told by Spencer at one point that you were the prototype of the A1’s, is that true?” Jayde asked while moving over to the engine that was closer to their height and offering a handshake.
Gordon seemed to smile a little with pride as he shook Jayde’s hand. “Why yes I was, the proud prototype to a long line of future success!” the other Gresley’s groaned as they had heard that boasting for years now. “I was actually a prototype as well, and once I proved to be a major success in Iraq they made the plans to build more of me after I was discharged, though, I unfortunately doubt I’ll ever have the chance to meet any of them. Say, how about a race? I’ve had many with Spencer up until now but we’re often at an equals, I want to have the chance of racing something new, no offense Spencer.” “None taken?” the silver A4 said sounding confused on whether to be offended. ---------------- So Jayde fulled Gordon's ego and swept the rug out from under Thomas. When the Duke and Duchess had their next holiday they brought Jayde alone with them and that's how she was introduced to the others. She mixed up Edward and James's names on purpose as a joke, quote- "You both look the same to me." James took it very personally so Jayde made him a tailor-made red suit with rubies as an apology, all was forgiven after that. She made Edward a little decor piece for his tie that was a gold coin with a number 2 on it, there weren't any hard feelings but Jayde just wanted to be nice. With Henry, once she saw that he was a plant lover, she found very rare and expensive flower seeds called silent princess. She gave them to Henry and he was floored as the flower was very rare, presumed near-extinct, and the seeds alone cost a pretty penny. He was very grateful to her after that, the two often gossiping about plants since Jayde liked to paint them or make art with them as her inspiration, and Henry liked to look after them. With Percy she actually made him a letter opener to break the ice, he warmed up to her after that and the two like to chat about random stuff. With Toby she made basic pleasantries with but otherwise didn't talk to often, she liked to listen to him tell tails and that was about it. With Duck she actually completely froze, she was stuck in a state of pure shock when she saw and heard him for the first time, sort of going into a panic attack at how similar he was to her old co-piolet and how she thought she was seeing a ghost. She flew off after tears started to fall down her face and didn't really talk to him much after that aside from when she chatted with Oliver, but she admired him from a distance.

“Okay, I have the board, and some paper. Lets start.” Gordon announced as he had everyone in the Tidmouth household currently sitting at the kitchen table with a whiteboard in front of them like a lecture. “So, I have asked you all here to discuss the important affliction that has been plaguing our island as of late, the concept of fusion.” “Okay this must be a big deal now if Gordon’s concerned.” James commented as he leaned back in his chair.
“This isn’t so much as a concern James as it is more of a topic worth studying, me and Thomas have actually been discussing this in private up until now, and we realised we needed to address some ideas with the rest of you.” Gordon articulated. Thomas nodded then walked up, taking a marker from the small shelf and began drawing. “Yeah, like Gordon said we’ve been talking and a few topics of concern have come up especially with what Edward has been telling us regarding Bill and Ben, and recently Gordon and Flying Scotsman.” Thomas drew a line with marks on it like a ruler, on one end was an uppercase ‘D’ and on the other an ‘E’.
“Okay, this is the “easy” end, and the other is the “difficult”. From easiest to hardest, me and Gordon have noticed a pattern. Going from hardest down, this is the difficulty of how easy it is to unfuse. Take Gordon and Flying Scotsman for example, unlike me and Gordon, they were very hard to split apart, and it took their body getting physically badly injured for them to defuse. They nearly had it on a few attempts but would always end up snapping back together like magnets. This wasn’t the issue with me and Gordon, once we figured out how to unfuse it became relatively easy. So we thought of a hypothesis that maybe fusions between biological relatives are harder to split apart than those who aren’t, an example being Bill and Ben. Those two are identical twins, so genetically they’d be the same person, so it’d make sense as to why they can’t unfused easily, because their already the same person on a blood test.” “And there would be nothing to unfuse in the first place!” Edward concluded.
“Yep, so identical siblings are the hardest to defuse, average siblings are under that, then under that I and Thomas have been theorizing something like cousins or half siblings would be next, and after that are obviously those who aren’t related.” Gordon indicated. “So that would mean a fusion between me and Gordon wouldn’t be a good idea, or with Spencer or Ryan.” Henry pointed out. “So then that would mean everybody here could potentially fuse with someone, just minus Henry and Gordon having a fusion.” James opined.
“It’s not that me and Henry couldn’t, it just wouldn’t be advised since we’d have a harder time defusing than fusing.” Gordon stated. “Which brings me up to a topic I wanted to mention.” Thomas piped up. “I couldn’t help but notice that compared to me and you Gordon, you seemed to have a far easier time fusing with your brother than me. I had a thought that it was because your related, so its easier for you to come together. For us we needed to dance and even then it took several attempts when we tried to make Sapheron, where as you and Scott just had to tumble into each other.” “Bill and Ben had the same experience, all they did was high-five the other and then their fusion was there.” Edward notified. “This sort of moves on to the next subject I wanted to address.” Gordon said as he drew a crude picture of him, Thomas, and their fusion Sapheron.
“The topic of these fusions gaining a personality. It’s no secret that Sapheron is a character quite unlike myself and Thomas, and while I was fused with my brother I could sense the formation of another personality in our head before he actually even spoke to us, he had this almost suffocating air of glee that instantly made me feel like it was ego, and it was so intense that it honestly put mine and Scotsman’s to shame. But we defused before I could find out more.” “This! This has been on my mind for ages now and has practically been my every waking thought! I have a few ideas and theories for this.” Thomas said as he drew a mind map on the board.
“Okay, so we know what Sapheron is like; He’s a cheery big goofball who is really likable. I wanted to start off with me and Gordon then move in to Sapheron, so- starting with Gordon we know very well what he’s like: Prideful, proud, stubborn, and loyal. Then you have me: Cheeky, a little bit of a trickster, and we all know I can get catty. So take some of those traits and give them to Sapheron, starting with his positive ones. Me and Gordon do have our mature moments especially since we’ve been getting older, and Sapheron has displayed this on multiple occasions, stopping others from going to far, and a few other minor instances. Then take mine and Gordon’s pride, we find much joy in our work but we’re each often single minded about it. Gordon with the express, me with my branch line. But this is where Sapheron gets caught between two worlds, he is technically mixed traffic and is capable of doing multiple jobs at once, he finds joy in just a job done well, especially when he excels. Because Saph doesn’t have a designated job to do, he takes joy from doing anything and everything, also giving him that ego.”
Thomas scribbles some more on the mind map. “Those are the traits that can obviously be tied to both me and Gordon, but then we get into the ones that seem unique to him. I think Sapheron takes traits of me and Gordon, but moulds them into something else, like how Henry used to be sad when he was younger but it turned into maturity and empathy, I think Saph has done the same thing. I think he’s taken my cheekiness, and turned it into humour, less act, more words like a comedian. Then we’ve got something of Gordon’s, I think he takes Gordon’s loyalty and turns it into kindness. Then from both of us, he takes our cockiness but is humble enough for it to come across as confidence. For him, those are his main personality traits that he's only been building on since he’s discovered them.” Thomas circled off a portion of the mind map to write in.
“Then we’ve got his actions, his physical ones opposed to his mental ones. He’s rather loud, and mixed with his humour makes him come off as jolly. His confidence and humour let him come off as silly, he’s strong and he knows it so he’ll fool around on some occasions. It makes sense when you think about it, he hasn’t cherry picked traits of ours to inherit, he’s been building his own since he’s his own person, and that’s why he’s a third personality in our fusion headspace to begin with.” Gordon nodded in approval at these observations, seeing Thomas’s points. “But then the issue comes of his bad traits. Unlike what you’ve spotted out about his positive traits Thomas, Sapheron seems to equal our bad habits together.”
Gordon then drew his own smaller mind map on the board. “If mine and Thomas’s negative traits were to be numbers, Sapheron seems to make a math equation out of them and whatever number is the answer seems to be his. Both you and I Thomas can be spiteful when we want to be, but Sapheron seems to take that dial and turn it up on the setting of actually being mean or outright cruel. He also has very little tolerance for others being rude, and he’ll throw that right back at them with a booster of damage. We all recall when Spencer visited, and the choice words that flew out of our fusions mouth when he insulted Percy’s mail train.” “That was terrifying to see, it honestly really then hammered home to me then that Sapheron wasn’t just a mash of Gordon and Thomas, but his own person that just seemed to happen be related to you two.” Percy murmured. The others nodding in agreement.
“Which kind of moves on to my next hypothesis that sort of has the same weight as the fusing with relatives discussion. We need to be very aware of who we’re fusing with.” Thomas then drew a grid chart with everyone’s first letter above a column to the left and top. “When I honestly got to thinking about potential fusions that the rest of us could make, I had a few shocking ideas. What would you all say a fusion with James and Gordon would be like?” Everybody instantly cringed. “A straight up narcissist.” Henry asserted with everyone firmly in agreement. “Okay, so then that would also make a Gordon and James fusion not a smart idea like a Henry and Gordon fusion.” Thomas drew in a red marker an ‘X’ in a box that Gordon and James shared. “Anyone else have any thoughts if they were to fuse with somebody at this table?” Thomas asked.
Percy raised his hand. “I can’t honestly be sure since I’d want to give you and me Thomas a little more credit than this, but; I feel like the both of our cheekiness would turn us into being full on pranksters like Bill and Ben.” Thomas raised his hand in a shimmy of so-so. “I think we could give ourselves a little more credit there Percy, if we were younger I could see it. But I think our other personality traits would balance us out, so maybe we should do a test run just to be sure.” Thomas put a ‘?’ in his and Percy’s shared box.
“I think anybody fusing with Edward would be a good fusion.” Henry commented looking to the old engine. “Huh?” Edward squeaked. “Ooh! Good point Henry! Edward’s personality traits would cancel a lot of our bad ones out and boost our positive ones, I can almost see an Edward and Gordon fusion, a big friendly giant almost like Murdoch but possibly older.” “Well… I don’t know about-” “Age!” Percy suddenly interrupted, running up to the board and taking a marker. “We haven’t talked about more of the physical stuff with fusion bodies, like: how does age work? Gordon and Thomas are only five years apart so I can see Sapheron being maybe in his early 110s? But we all know none of us look our real ages, so, how old does Sapheron look?” Percy questioned.
The others seemed to get equally as sidetracked, it being a good point. “Well… I like to look in my late teens or early twenties, what about you Gordon?” Thomas asked. “I like my 40s.” “So maybe to even it out we’d say Sapheron is in his 30s?” Edward guessed. “Hold up.” It was then James’s turn to come up to the board and he was given the marker off of Gordon.
“What about fusing with the opposite gender? What would that do?” That suddenly got everyone’s minds thinking, what would a fusion of two genders be? Thomas then wrote next to James’s writing on the board. “Now that would be one to test out and see what’d happen, but I have a feeling we would need to bring Emily into this discussion and repeat it with her.” Thomas said. “But then what about diesels? What would our engine selves look like then?” Edward recalled.
“Right, right, Sapheron’s engine was also a fusion of mine and Thomas’s. So… I don’t know.” Gordon gave in after thinking to hard on it. “Okay, so we need to ask a diesel.” Percy wrote on the board. “Then what about gauge? What if one of us were to fuse with a narrow gauge engine or minimum gauge?” Henry brought up. “I wouldn’t mind testing that out with Skarloey or Rheneas, they’ve both told me they find the idea intriguing.” Edward offered.
“Okay, so to recap on what we need to test: a fusion with a girl, a fusion with a diesel, and a fusion with a different gauge. …Should we head out tomorrow and start asking? Maybe we could bring our phones or ask someone to record us while we’re fused.” Thomas suggested. “I have an idea about maybe asking Rebecca, I get along well enough with her and I have a bit of experience by this point.” Gordon mentioned. “I could try fusing with Diesel 10 or any of the other diesels, I get along well with them still.” Percy added in. “I can go to the Skarloey.” Edward chipped in. “Okay, so we’ve got some ideas, lets see what the others say.” Thomas announced.

I've been thinking more on my fusion au, and I've just had this headcanon about the Tidmouth Team sitting down and discussing fusion like a class brainstorming session. So I'm gonna make a one-shot fic of it!
After coming back home with Scott, the A3 has been taken in by the Tidmouth shed team. Scott feels very comfortable surrounded by people who understand his condition and have experience, among other things. This type of familiarity is foreign to him but not unwelcome, he's made very fast friends with Thomas and can see why Gordon takes a liking to him, he's gained a new brother in Henry after he was told of the no.3 origins, and Edward is the mentor he never had.
Since arriving, he's gained some weight and has gotten the strength to start learning how to walk, Thomas has been coaching him through a lot of his physical health while Gordon has been providing the mental. Scott can see why Gordon has been used as a bed often, his brother is gianormous in comparison to the others and is incredibly soft.
The museum hasn't been in contact with him and seems to not be too interested for the time being, he hopes it lasts for a while because he doesn't feel like leaving Sodor anytime soon. He's got his brother, and a found family. If the legalities regarding his existence are confirmed, he hopes he has the option to stay.
