(F)Hoku: Kufufu, sorry Rae-chan, old habits die hard I suppose. It’s a bit fun to see people’s expressions and reactions when I switch genders.

Raet: Tch. I dun wanna hear ANYONE talk to me about ya or about how much they fancy you. Gives me the fuckin’ creeps ‘cause, well, ‘ya know.

Hokusai HCs!!!

Hokusai is actually growing and tending to viola flowers in a more quiet and isolated area of the school campus. 

He treats his mini-garden as if they were the most precious thing in his life (next to Raetel) and won't allow anyone else besides himself and Raetel near it. He even threatened/blackmailed Crowley to never approach his garden.

He's actually really great at taking care of children and is extremely patient when dealing with them. He may occasionally fret over and baby-proof a lot of things for them, besides that, his soft spot for kids is obvious.

Isn't a morning person, but has merely adjusted to an early schedule due to habit and previous lifestyles, so during the winter break when everyone else gets to go back home and the rest of the staff are dismissed for vacation, he wakes up later than usual-- around noon or so. He requires at least a cup of coffee or two to wake up fully.

Expanding on that previous note, during winter break, despite being a rather protective parent, he's fine with Raetel leaving the school to go somewhere else for vacation and will even provide the necessary amount of money and funds for the travelling and such.

Hokusai's kind of a traditionalist, if that's even the right word to use. 

He's not that good with using current technology and is more often than not confused with modern-day lingo/slang, but he is able to utilize a cellphone and surf the internet along with using a TV. 

Anything else more advanced greatly kerfuffles him and has him asking for help from others, even his students (or Raetel).

♥ (10) What is your OC’s favorite big way to show their love? 

Hokusai doesn’t really like being too over-the-top in showing affection for his loved ones-- he prefers things being simple yet sentimental, small-scaled but meaningful. He is an old soul after all, and is a lot more mellowed out than how he was in the past. 

For example, he’ll make you a boxed lunch nearly every day and, without fail, he’ll prepare your favorite meals. If he can’t come see you for any reason, then he’ll send his fox familiars instead to deliver gifts and your food. 

But that’s not to say that Hokusai can’t show his love in more “open” and “bigger”, more “grandeur” ways possible. 

He will 100% use his wide array of accumulated knowledge and powers throughout his entire lifetime in order to give you anything and everything you may want. 

One such is example is, if you want a clear night sky to marvel at AND have fireflies appear at the same time then expect that he WILL make it happen so. He’ll go into his 4-tailed form and scatter the clouds until they vanish and even communicate with the local pixies/elemental spirits in order to gathering the fireflies for his beloved’s sake. 

“If you wish for the brightest stars in the skies, the rarest corals at the bottom of the seas, or even my very own hide, then I will grant it all. Why? Fufu. You had to ask such a simple question with an obvious answer~.”

“Kufufu, I feel honored to be asked on yet another date, truly.”

“But alas, I must ask you to reconsider. Nothing good shall come out of dating a criminal such as myself.” 

“While I do sincerely apologize for letting you down, even myself knows that one mustn’t develop any strong attachments towards me.”  

“It would be best if you were to extend such an offer to others more worthy of it please.”

Raneus: *skims through the letter casually tossing it away* She didn't put any caffeine in the choco right? *sniffs one piece* It doesn't contain any liqueur as well right? *squints eyes* I guess I'll feed them to O-chan (Ophiou) first to test if there's any. 

... Love is unnecessary to me. *blunt* I'm not looking for it nor am I asking for it. Plus I don't even know who the sender is.

(Ophi: Ran--!!! Be a little more kind and considerate would you...??! OAO)

Berebis: ..... *sighs after reading the letter* Where in the hell are you all coming from... *crumples the letter before staring at the box of bonbons* ... I'm not hungry at the moment, but I'm not letting anyone take it.

Keeping it just in case I get hungry from my nap.... *yawns* Speak of the devil, I'm tired again...

Hokusai: Oh? Oho~? *chuckles* Interesting. I am honored to have earned the little lady's affections, but alas, I must reject such heartfelt confessions. It would be best if she were to direct these to someone else more suitable than I. Now as for the chocolates.... fufu. 

Yes, I'll share these with my son~. *chuckles* I still recall him being an avid eater of sweets~.

Shir: *blinks, smiles faintly* This feels rather nostalgic. Who would've thought that I would receive chocolates once more like this, I feel as if I had returned back to my younger self. 

*laughs lightheartedly* Valentine's Day is not a custom really celebrated in my hometown, mainly because they see it as something stupid, so to receive chocolates and a letter once more like I did back in school is somewhat refreshing.

What is the vibe your character gives off to the world? How does the world view them? Is this aligned or in disagreement with how your character feels internally?

Imma assume this is like-- how my OC appears to other people and how they think of said OC VS how my OC actually is if that's ok hhhhhhhhh

  To most people, Hokusai seems to be an affable and well-mannered person. Someone who likes to taunt  and play with others and even act somewhat immature to an extent, but he is quick to prove others that he's quick-witted, capable, and mature when handling most situations, especially when things get serious.  If one spends enough time around him, they notice how he can act pretty cunning and secretive, along with the fact that he knows more than he lets on- though there is suspicion in regards to his shifty behavior, Hokusai still proves everyone that he has no malicious intent whatsoever and is merely doing what he thinks is "best". He's well-liked by the students of NRC and is even on close terms with a lot of them, but because he also likes to nag and tease them, they can't help but be mean back towards him (and he lets them all get away with it since it's all just harmless fun).  

   ... Funnily enough, Hokusai himself HEAVILY disagrees with everyone's opinions regarding himself. After all, the one who hates Hokusai the most is himself. He considers his current self a "mask that became himself to hide his [sins]"; Hokusai basically thinks that he's simply a monster wearing a humane mask. He's not going to ever deny that.  He acknowledges that he's done a lot of horrible things in the past out of misguided anger and hatred born from delusion, along with taking pleasure in doing such things because, from somewhere deep in his heart, he hates the entire world for taking the things most important to him. 

   Hokusai knows that there is no salvation for something as heinous as him. But with this new life that he has been given, this third chance, he'll try to do things better. He doesn't wish to ever return to how he used to be. 

All he wants now is to be a better father and a good teacher to the kids.

I'm weak to an elegant man, so please 🔔 for Hokusai ?

btw Hoku still hasn’t forgiven Crowley in the slightest for being so incompetent in dealing with the students’ safety and has often threatened him to raze the entire school to the ground if he continues to jeopardize their well-being... of course it’s all a joke and just him teasing~

Compared to his (much) older self, Hokusai at this point in time is far more callous and less caring towards others, but because he actively avoids interaction with others unless pretty much necessary so there’s (thankfully) no harm done whatsoever. 

He likes learning though so he’s surprisingly receptive and listens well to the teachers... though he doesn’t have any respect towards them or even Crowley, ahaha.

yes yes i just realized that i picked the first OC from each category bite me lol 🤡ANYWAYS--

Hokusai is counted among the [best yanderes] to have/be stuck with mainly because of the fact that, because he’s already been there, he KNOWS how it feels like-- to have such dark thoughts towards others and how far one is willing to go for their Darling. Adding to that fact that he’s mellowed out considerably after millennia, Hokusai takes great lengths to ensure that some of his darker actions do not repeat themselves in the present. As a result, he gives his Darling full autonomy and allows them to live a life outside him; Hokusai would give them almost literally anything and everything in the entire world should they just ask for it--- but that doesn’t mean his Darling’s fully “free” and “safe” yet-- oh no no no. 

This is only but an illusion that he has conjured up in order to ensure that the happiness and love exchanged between him and his Darling is consensual and genuinely reciprocated. 

Cinis, meanwhile, is counted amongst the [mild yanderes] mostly because she is torn between two feelings. On one hand, she WANTS to dote on her Darling-- to smother them in adoration and affection that she feels like they deserve. But due to her admitted inability to properly/correctly socialize and emotionally connect with others, she has a rather hard time on how to actually express her emotions even towards her Darling, which causes her no end of frustration, confusion, and heartache. Thus, she ends up at times acting rather distant towards her Darling because she is attempting to compose her thoughts and trying to understand better on how to “act” more affectionate. 

But as a result on the other hand she ends up occasionally emotionally neglecting her Darling. She doesn’t mean to do it, but she’s trying her best... so do forgive her, Darling.

Oh Leviotan, where do I begin with this one? Well, for starters, while on the surface he is pretty (genuinely) doting and caring towards his Darling, giving them lavish gifts and material goods along with the occasional physical intimacy (such as cuddles, hand-holding, etc. etc.), he is rather VERY emotionally manipulative and sadistic. Oh don’t get him wrong he does genuinely love his Darling and would quite literally KILL for them (and even kill them if things came down to it), it’s just that a part of him just wants to see them experience all of these sorts of emotions and feelings BECAUSE of him.

All the tears they shed, all the smiles they let out, the scared expressions on their face, their anger, their surprised-- all of it. It is because of him and him alone. Darling.

"Oro? It's nice to meet you~. Hm? Who am I? Well... I'm just a young one-tailed Kitsune that likes to travel a lot~. It's good to meet you too, big sis/mister~."

Introduces himself as "Kogitsune" -- a simple and innocent young (Kitsune) boy, though he seems to know a lot more than he lets on.

He likes to travel a lot from place to place, and seemingly has no shame in acting cute. Hobbies apparently include frog-catching, playing pranks on others, and tree-climbing.

Seems to have a mysteriously close relation of sorts with the Oni and knows a lot about the Tengu despite his appearance and what he says, along with appearing to hold some level of authority within the Kitsune hierarchy.

... His real name is [Hokusai], but his original name is [Shosei]. His true identity is that of one of the [3 Calamities] -- the "Golden Plague".
