you're so right angst anon!!!! except a part of me thinks he can't do it. you're his everything, if he can't have your heart, at least you'll be his forever, locked in his dungeons, hidden from the rest of the world forever. no matter how far or wide your s/o looks for you, you're trapped in childe's castle, all his. if childe was heavily traumatised in the villianess au or without regard for human life, i think he could kill reader! but otherwise, he's like the yandere servant in one of those jp mangas, i forgot the name but they fall in love and he fails to kill her <3 it's so cute !!!!
