(Y/N) lazily covered up his mouth with his hand as another yawn escaped his mouth, making little tears form at the corner of his eyes. He wiped them away as he almost walked into the door frame to his lover's office, "Since when is this thing here?", he muttered, "Oh. right..."

Shaking his head slightly in hopes of waking up a bit, (Y/N) took a step to the side so he was infront of the door. For a short moment he asked himself if he really should knock on the door. Sure, work at the funeral parlor was kind of slow at the moment, at least for Zhongli, but who knew?

"He was the one who said I could come over if I ever felt lonely so..."

The (Y/HC)-haired knocked on the door, stifling another yawn right after. Why was he so tired again? He forgot. But that didn't matter to him anyway. All he knew was that he wanted to annoy his lover with his affection. And maybe recieve some of it himself.

"Come in."

The smooth voice of the former geo god made (Y/N) smile as he opened the door and waddled inside, heading straight behind his significant other. Zhongli watched with a gentle smile, turning his head to face the other when he stood behind him, "Ah, darling, I'm happy to see you.", he paused for a moment to take in his lover's form, "You look tired..."

"Hmh...", (Y/N) let his arms fall over Zhongli's shoulders and rested his head on one of them. The brown-haired chuckled softly and raised his hand to gently brush his hand over the side of the other's face and hair. This motion alone made (Y/N) only sleepier, "Zhongliiiii...", he dragged out, "Me demands cuddles."

"Haha, I had a feeling you would say that. It isn't the first time you came by this late after all."

Of course Zhongli happily gave his lover what he wanted, seating him in his lap and wrapping his arms around his torso while the other's arms were around his neck. They both leaned their chins on each other's shoulder. (Y/N) for comfort and Zhongli to be able to the see the papers he was working on before.

Still smiling, the brown-haired rubbed (Y/N)'s back with his free hand as he went back to work, "Are you comfortable like this, love?" The murmured 'yes' made him chuckle once again. (Y/N) was way too cute, way to irresistable. "I'm almost finished. We can go home soon and cuddle properly.", Zhongli announced almost more to himself than to his lover. He, too, was eager to get home and have some quality time with (Y/N).

The (Y/HC)-haired let out a little happy noise before he gave the other a little peck on the neck, adjusting himself on Zhongli's lap to make himself more comfortable. Needless to say the embrace made him even more tired. Zhongli's soothing cologne didn't help either, but he didn't even care anymore.

Though, he'd feel kind of bad if Zhongli ended up having to carry him all the way home.

(Y/N) shrugged internally and snuggled closer to his boyfriend, listening to the scratching sound of the pen as Zhongli wrote some kind of report. It slowly lulled him to sleep, leaving the other finishing his work in silence.

Usually, Zhongli was pretty talkative, even when he has to concentrate on writing something. He was somehow able to manage doing both at the same time. But seeing how exhausted his lover was, he didn't want to keep him up with his rambling.

Not long after, as promised, Zhongli finished his work and carefully put his things away before he stood up, holding (Y/N) securely in his arms.

"Let's go home. You deserve some rest, love.", Zhongli said quietly as he smiled down at the man and left his office.
