Thank you so much to everyone who gave me suggestions for sims to invite to Cynthia’s baby shower.  I’ve taken a lot of your suggestions and added a whopping 24 sims to my game!  They’re all living downtown.  I probably won’t play with all of them in regular rotation, but they’ll be running around town and showing up in the background, as well as in the regular story. 

I loved trying to recreate some of the sims from other games (although I don’t know how well I did) and I loved adding the amazing ones other people have created to my game.  I honestly don’t add a lot of other people’s sims to my game, but I’m glad I’ve added these guys!

@didilysims - Goofus is the perfect word for Jason.  Jodie can be a goofus sometimes too.  She’s certainly not making the best decisions at the moment. (Neither is Jason...)

@katrisims and @penig - I think we’ve seen that Jason doesn’t tend to make the best decisions.  We’ll see how this plays out.  I think he’s going more on the “this way my sister can’t catch me again” argument than the “Sheila will be a great employee” argument.  (Again, goofus.)

Random but Important Question

I need a bit of help setting up something in Bluewater.  Cynthia Kim is throwing a baby shower for herself this round and I want her to invite some of her famous female friends to the party.  What fabulous famous ladies would Cynthia know from her time as a TV star?  

I’m looking for female sims from any version of the game who are somewhat famous and/or wealthy.  I can recreate sims from other games if I need to.  Can you help me out?  Who would Cynthia invite to her baby shower?

Jodie wandered away from Pierce and bumped into someone who seemed vaguely familiar.

“Jodie?” The man in the red sweatshirt grinned broadly. “Hey, it’s good to see you again!”

“Um, hello...you...” Jodie laughed nervously.  She knew she’d met this guy.  She just wasn’t sure she’d ever gotten his name.

The man laughed. “I’m John,” he said, extending a hand for her to shake. “John Whitaker.  We met the other night.”

“I’m sorry,” Jodie said immediately.  “I don’t usually hit on random guys like that.  I’d just had a bad day, and I went out and got drunk, and...well...”

John laughed again.  “No worries.  I’ve had days like that. And hey, now you actually know my name!”

Jodie blushed. “Seriously, can we just start over, please?”

“Sure.  Can I take you to dinner?”

“Sure.”

Okay, so...I rolled the ROS situation for the Jacquets a while ago and didn’t take a screenshot, but trust me - it said “get a kitty”.  I’m not just saying this because I like cats, or because I think Denise will feel better if she has a cute little kitty cat. No, I am doing this because the ROS thingy said I had to.  I rolled “Get a pet” and then I rolled “Kitty cat” out of “kitty” “big dog” and “little dog” without cheating. I promise!
