“Your back again. Miss me already?” Y/n winked coming up from under the water? After seeing Peter fly over to the lagoon.

“Well, it is my island.” Peter smirked, moving to sit down on a couple rocks by the mermaid.

She tilted her head and squinted “from what I heard you use to never visit the lagoon because of things like me.”

Peter nodded “you mean mermaids. Yes, usually your kind only try to kill. Your different.”

“How so?” Y/n asked tilting her head the opposite side as before

“You haven’t tried to kill me.” he quirked his lips giving her a lopsided smirk

“Not all of us like to kill.” Y/n muttered looking down. She hates that, that’s what her kind is known for. Peter saw her start to close up, he could tell by how she answered that it bothered her how her kind is known. So he splashed her to cheer her up, change the mood. “Hey!” Y/n squealed in shock and then splashed him back.

After a while of splashing eachother and laughing Peter just watched her smiling “why do you stay here?”

“What do you mean?” she asked wondering what he meant

“I know mermaids can travel through dimensions, Love. Why do you stay in Neverland?” he clarified moving a stran of hair behind her ear.

“I think I’ve fallen in love with the King of Neverland.” Y/n explained, looking down to hide her blush.

Peter tilted his head. “There are no Kings in Neverland just me.” he smirked.

“I know” she murmured under her breath turning away from him

Peter turned his smirk into a smile, putting his forefinger under her chin to tilt her head up to meet his eyes “I believe I’ve fallen for you to.”

It was a peaceful night in the Swan residence. Charlie had left awhile ago for his shift at the station. Bella is asleep in her room. An Y/n and Paul were just laying on her bed, hanging out together. It was a nice calm night, till.

*queue Bellas Screams*

“What was that?” Paul asked startled after hearing a screaming Bella in the room next over. Though Y/n didn’t even flinch having gotten used to it over the months.

“Bella” Y/n answered nonchalantly, still playing with his hand in between hers.

“Is she ok?” he asked her looking around the room.

“You care?” she turned her head looking at her boyfriend confused. As far as she knew Paul hated her sister. All because she hung out with and dated the Cullen(s).

Paul shrug’s bringing his attention back to his girl. “Not really no. But does that happen often?”

“Every night since they moved away.” Y/n shrugged back taking a glance at his eyes before looking back down at his hand in hers.

“How do you sleep with that happening?” he looked down at their hands the same as her, knowing that the contact will ease his nerves that seem to be coming up. Y/n being his rock, especially emotionally.

“Not very well.” Y/n bit her lip knowing her next words could upset him so she mumbled.

“Why didn’t you say anything?” Paul sat up into more of a sitting position.

“You don’t normally ask a lot of questions.” she tensed up, sitting up as well.

“Well, I’m concerned about my imprint.” Paul stated sternly

Y/n sighed and looked at him in the eyes “I didn’t say anything cause there’s nothing that can be done about it. Plus with Cullens gone you can come over, stay over as much as you and I want and not have to worry about the treaty. Also, my dad is more comfortable with you staying over here then me being at yours.”

Paul smirks pulling her closer by her waist. “Well, it is his house he controls what goes on in it. I understand why he likes it better if I’m here, he can know everything that’s going on. But why didn’t you tell me?”

“Just told you why I didn’t tell you. The only way to fix it is for them to come back. They don’t want to. I don’t have anything against them really. Hell I’m friends with them but, I just- I want her to stop having nightmares and screaming but I don’t want you to have to stop coming over.” she looked down, quietly saying the last part.

All Paul could do was sigh, he could understand where she is coming from. He moved a hand to stroke through her hair. “If they did come back we’ll work it out. I don’t want them to come back, you know that, hell you know why. But we would work it out if they do.”

“Correction you hate eachother. It’s not one-sided.” Y/n stated as she poked him. Then Y/n decided to get up and get dressed to, since he does have a point about being late.

“Still” Four nod’s

“Hmmmmm! Walk me?” she asked turning to face him fully dressed, biting her lip.

“Y/n-” Four shook his head

“Pleeeeaaasssseeee” Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck rocking on her feet.

Four rolled his eyes and sighed neither him or Eric could ever say not to her. “Fine. I’ll walk you.”

“Your late” Eric said with crossed arms as he saw Y/n enter the training room. Late.

“Sory” Y/n muttered under her breath as she came to stand right next to him. Watching over the initiates.

“Did the stiff keep you” he grumbled adjusting his position.

Y/n scoffed and leaned down to tie her shoe “oh cut the crap, Eric.”

Eric shook his head, squinting his eyes at a couple initiates “I can’t like you being with him”

“Well too bad, because I love him. He loves me so deal with it.” Y/n stood up straight and turned to face her brother. “You should be happy that I’m with Four.” Y/n stated

“Whys that?” he gave her a disgusted look

“Because out of everyone he’s gonna treat me with respect. And that’s what you should want for your little sister.” she gave her brother a pointed look, crossing her arms. All Eric could do was grunt annoyed at his sister. Because he knows she’s right.

“You won’t lose me.” Y/n sighed softly leaning her head back on his shoulder

His hold tightens “you don’t know that. And you can’t promise that either.”

“Come with me then? Derek you would never let anything hurt me. So come with if your so worried.” she asked him, turning in his hold.

“Me being there could make them violent.” Derek said, letting Y/n out of his hold.

“I don’t plan on facing them. I plan on making a statement.” Y/n just grabbed her jacket.

Y/n laughed before looking to her uncle with an amused face hiding her excitement “So I’m gonna be a Lupin? And I’m gonna get to actually make friends?”

“Yes you are” he smiled at Y/n

“Why haven’t you giving me your Lastname before Uncle Remus?” she asked turning her gaze downward

Remus sighed “Because Love, as much as I don’t like what your father did. He was good to you when he was around and loved you more than anything so I thought you should keep something of him. Hunny even after your mother passed away he did everything he could for you while he was still around.”

“He cared about me?” Y/n questioned fiddling with her fingers, stealing a glance up at him.

“A lot Love, a lot.” he gave her a tight-lipped smile along with his answer

“Uncle Remus?” she asked again

“Yes, Love?”

“Thank you” Y/n thanked, staring straight at him

“For what?” Remus questioned not knowing why Y/n was thanking him

Y/n bit her lip looking down once again “for taking me in after everything that happened. You didn’t have to, but you did. So thank you.”

“I wouldn’t have let you go to anyone else hun. I love you as if you were my own.” Remus gave her another serious look

Y/n smiled at him gratefully. Before she thought of something to lighten the mood. “You know on a different note I think you and Tonks should get married and have a baby. You need to pop the question, Uncle Rem.”

She started at him for a bit but she read him “oh come on. You both are in love with each other you should propose.”

He smiled “you like Tonks?”

Y/n smiled “yeah, she’s cool.”

Remus was glad to see how excited Y/n is to be finally going to Hogwarts. Having already met the professors through him before. HE knows how much she’s wanted to make friends but Remus couldn’t help but worry. What would happen to his beloved niece if Sirius comes to Hogwarts?

“No” Y/n stated walking away

“Come on Y/n” Hayley said following the two girls

Rebekah sighed “Seriously? We all know.”

“Well if you all know then I don’t need to say or admit to anything.” Y/n states while going over to the fridge

“But you can confirm it.” Hayley stated leaning against the kitchen bar

“Why? Why should I?” she shook her head turning around to look at them

“What do you mean?” Hayley questioned titling her head

“Why tell? It’s not like he likes me back.” Y/n explained opening her drink she got out of the fridge

“Are you kidding? He’s in love with you! I’ve known my brother for centuries and he’s never been this, in love with someone before. He doesn’t even love his siblings as much as he loves you.” Rebekah exclaimed

“I don’t know if I can admit it. I can’t if there’s a chance that he doesn’t- I-I can’t.” Y/n stutters

“If you can admit it. We can get him to.” Hayley stated trying to assure the young woman.

“And you can be in the room when he does.” Rebekah added. Both girls trying to get Y/n to agree with their idea.

All Y/n could do was shake her head ‘no’.

“Come on, Y/n/n.” Hayley pleaded

“We all know that both of you are in love with eachother!” Rebekah all but yells

“NO. No, I’m not in love with him. Never! He frustrates me.” she just continued to shake her head and drink her can of soda.

“Oh come on” Bekah leans her head back

“We can all name many things that prove you are in love with him.” Hayley states

“Name one.” Y/n tilted her head, silently hoping she wasn’t that obvious with her crush on the youngest Mikaelson.

Hayley nodded ready to start listing “ok, the way you look at him”

“The way you both banter” Bekah jumped in

“All the cuddling” Hayley pointed out

Nodding in agreement Rebekah added in “the hugging”

“The joking” Hayley tilted her head pretending to think about it

“Feeding” Rebekah snapped her head towards Y/n

“Huh? Feeding?” Y/n asked confused

“Not many vampires share feeding. It’s called blood sharing, it’s a very intimate thing.” Rebekah explained with a smirk looking back over to Hayley as she gave the same look.

Y/n muttered an “ok” looking down, knowing her face was definitely turning red.

“Now what are we see that proves he’s in love with you.” Hayley smirked at her

“Well for starters he’s my brother, I know him.” Bekah stated

“Well the look’s he does when staring at you” Hayley added rolling her eyes recalling some of the looks she’s seen on his face

“The feeding” Bekah brought up again, which Y/n couldn’t couldn’t help but blush at that fact she had just found out what it meant.

“The cuddling and hugs” Hayley said again

“The joking and banter” Bekah laughed

“The teaming up” Hayley grunted

“He always takes your side when it comes down to anything” Rebekah rolled her eye’s

“Which annoys Klaus to no end. But he loves how Kol is around you even if he would never admit to it.” Hayley smiled at her fondly

“Really?” Y/n asked nervously once they were done listing

“Yes.” Hayley stated

“So?” Rebekah questioned hoping they got her to change her mind

“I’m in love with Kol. Oh My God. I’m in love with Kol Mikaelson.” Y/n admitted. Shocking herself in the process.
