Chapter 1 ----- Swallowed
Chapter 1 ----- đSwallowedđ
 NINJAGO HAVOC AU
Iâve had this au in my head for a while, and the season finale for season 15 finally gave me the inspiration/motivation to write it! So, hope you enjoy it! Comments and reblogs are super appreciated!Â
*Post-season 15 AU*
ââââââââ-
Every part of the ocean looks the same.
Itâs just water. There were no distinguishing landmarks, unless they stuck up out of the surface. There was no change to the âlandscapeâ. It was like a vast, dark, and deep desert. A desert that pulsated, as if it were alive. A living desert, full of life, just beneath its moving skin. A desert that simultaneously destroys and gives life. A desert full of gaping mouths that will swallow you up if you get too close. And when youâre swallowed, it gives you up as food to those residing inside it. It was fluid, it was so big itâŚ.itâŚ
It made his head hurt.
He had no idea how long he had been flying above the ocean. It was soâŚso vast. The night sky made the ocean look like a second, moving sky. A churning void of black ink and glittering lights. He pulled a scroll of paper from his bag.
He had tried to be strong.
He had tried not to run away.
After all, he had his parents now. Oh but what did they know? Sure, it wasnât their fault they had vanished, but, it didnât change the fact that they werenât there. Nobody was there, when it was just him and her. Alone, against the world. She was the only one who understood. She was the only one who could truly comfort him. Sure, the others were family, and they did their best, but it was nowhere nearâŚshe wasnât there anymore.Â
He had promised he wouldnât leave again but-
But this was different.
She left first.
And now?
Now she was a part of the ocean. Kai wasnât even sure if she was⌠if she had a physical form to her anymore. Water canât- water canât hold its shape unless itâs contained in something. That he knew. He was certain there wasnât a Nya shaped container in the ocean. But then again, their elemental powers, and the magic they had seen, didnât exactly obey the regular laws of science, so why should this.
His elemental dragon flapped in place as he stared at the map he had snagged on his way out. He didnât know he could summon a dragon anymore, but somehow, he had managed. Maybe it was out of anger, or grief, or guilt, orâŚsomething. He didnât know what he was feeling, but whatever it was had caused him to create a dragon.Â
He ran a hand through his hair, keeping the other one on his dragonâs back, on the map, so it wouldnât blow away in the steady breeze. He sighed, letting his hand fall limply onto his dragonâs back. His dragon let out a low rumble, attempting to comfort Kai. It didnât work.
His mind felt just like the ocean below him. A tumultuous thrashing of darkness and confusion, of hurt and guilt, of sadness. He just wanted his sister backâŚwas that too much to ask?
The crashing of the ocean was his only reply.
His dragon let out another low rumble, louder this time, snapping Kai out of his thoughts. He gave the elemental dragon a half-hearted pat, still holding the map down with one hand. He reached back into his bag, pulling out a black pen and adjusting himself. Fortunately, the soft, warm glow of his elemental dragon gave off just enough light for him to see the map.
It was a map of Ninjago and the surrounding ocean. The ocean around Ninjago had been marked with at least 100 crudely written xâs, starting from the top of the map and going down. She couldnât have gone farâŚright? She wouldnât just-just leave them. Surely, she would have gained back more of herself with time, she would-should have started to remember them.
She wouldnât justâŚforget about the ninja. She wouldnât forget about Jay, the love of her life, the man who Kai now hoped he could eventually call âbrotherâ one day. Jay was a dork, but he was good for her, and she loved him, Kai had come to accept that.
She wouldnât forget Cole, the one who was able to hold his own against her, strength wise. The kind-hearted soul of the group, the big brother, the shoulder she had cried on. A true friend, especially to her. They had a special bond that he couldnât put into words.
She wouldnât forget Zane, or Pixel, she had fixed them countless times, they talked for hours on end about stuff Kai couldnât begin to grasp. Zane was such a steady calm to her, to all of them in fact. And she was a rock for him too.
She wouldnât forget about Lloyd, the one they considered their little brother. The one she had stayed with when Zane hadâŚwhen he couldnât-She wouldnât forget Lloyd, the one she whole-heartedly supported and cared for.
She wouldnât forget about their parents. Sure, she hadnât known them, but they were back now. And things were finallyâŚthey had a chance to build something that had been torn from them.
She wouldnâtâŚshe wouldnât forget about him. Right?
He should have been better. He should have heard her when she walked away. He should have stopped her. ItâŚ. was just like Zane. Like everyone else on this seemingly cursed team. It should have been him. He would have gladly taken her place, had he had the chance to. After all, heâs just the loud-mouthed, cocky ninja. The idiot, the screw-up. It would haveâŚit would be better if he had taken Nyaâs place. Or Zaneâs.
He was sure he was cursed to watch everyone elseâs curses play out. WhyâŚwhy does everyone he starts to love have to be ripped from his grasp, in some way or another. HeâŚwas starting to doubt it. He had gotten just about everyone back! Or maybe thisâŚâcurseâ was just preparing him for the biggest hit yet.
His sister. His little sisterâŚ
It should have been him.
Kai blinked, bringing himself back to the present. Enough.
He blinked again, trying to get his eyes to stay open as he moved to mark the map. His hand hesitated above the paper. Where was he again?
He looked around, seeing nothing but the black void of water and the night sky. His elemental dragonâs reflection shimmered in the inky water down below.Â
HeâŚhe couldnât have gone too far from where he was last. He looked back at the paper. Which x had been last?
He was starting to realize howâŚpointless this search method was. Nya could be in any part of the ocean.
He had started searching the ocean two days ago, and had been searching nonstop since. He figured she would be a brightâŚglowing blue, like she had been that night. Or that sheâd be a giant water dragon. But he hadnât seen anything like that. What if she was deep inside the ocean? What ifâŚwhat ifâŚ
He rubbed his eyes with his right hand, smearing a bit of ink across his face. His vision was blurry. He hadnât slept, hadnât eaten or drinken anything since that morningâŚhe wasnât sure how many days ago. It had been days, he knew heâd seen the sun set at least twice. Or was it three times?
Funny how there was a bunch of water below him, even funnier that he couldnât drink it. But he wasnât going to quit. Ninja donât quit. Brothers donât give up on their sisters.
Lloyd had been so worried about him. TheyâŚthey all had been. But he would never forget the look Lloyd gave him the night before he decided to start his search. That sad, pitiful, desperate look that seemed to bore its way through his whole body. A full-body-wrenching look of âplease donât go.â It was Kaiâs fault. It was allâŚHe should have done better.
He had tried, he really did, but he failed, again. He couldnât keep himself together. He had almost stopped sleeping entirely, barely ate, barely moved from that dreaded room. Surrounded by books, scrolls, texts, and just about anything else that could possibly tie into saving Nya. They had all tried to help him, but Lloyd was the most persistent. KaiâŚhe had pushed him, he hadâŚpushed them all away.Â
He felt terrible now, butâŚhe needed to find her. He wantedâŚno, noâŚneeded her here, with him, with all of them.
He blinked some more, trying to sit up straight. A excruciating wave of dizziness racked at his brain, and he fell back down into a hunched position, gripping his head with shaky arms. What was happening, and why so sudden?
His elemental dragon let out a surprised grumble, turning its glowing head towards him. Was it just his eyes, or was his dragonâŚfading? It looked like a dying fire. Kai gave himself 30 seconds before the world stopped spinning at 80 mph.Â
âIâmâŚ..Iâm fine, bud. Letâs keep going,â Kai started, trying to get back up. He finally succeeded after a few minutes. He sat, panting harshly. He wasâŚso tired. He lifted his arms to prompt his dragon to move, but he couldnât seem to keep his eyes open.
Suddenly, his body went limp, against his will, and his hand slipped from the reins and his map.
He was falling.
He was barely able to blink open his eyes, and watched as his dragon let out a pained roar, before dissipating into nothing but a shower of glowing embers. His bag, pen, and map were falling above him. It was almost like he was moving in slow motion.
He turned his head to look behind him, seeing the oceanic void, desperately opening one of its many mouths to swallow him up. That wouldnât be too bad. Drown this and all his other failures. Nya was thereâŚin that void. Would she be happy to see him, or upset that heâd given up? He shouldnât be so scared of the ocean anymoreâŚhe would get to see Nya againâŚright?
The pounding of his heart, still terrified, rang in his ears.
He stared down at the ocean as he fell, finally willing himself to fall into the darkness as millions of watery teeth and hands grabbed hold of him and pulled him into their hungry depths.

Headcanon's time
On missions that required knowledge of etiquette, they mainly sent Zane, Pixal and Kai.
Zane wondered why Dr. Julien never rubbed his chopsticks while eating, and after a week he knew exactly how to bow, controlled his voice volume and did not enter the house without slippers.
Cyrus Borg built etiquette into Pixal's memory, so she knew from birth how to behave in public.
Kai... In childhood, he and Nya often did not want to sleep, so their parents read them books that should not be interesting to children.
For example, the code of laws of Ninjago, the history of the sculpture of the Ancient Serpentine.
Or a book on etiquette.
Kai still remembers hugging the sleeping Nya and listening to his mother's calm voice explaining certain types of bows.
And after the disappearance of his parents, waiting for Nya in the forge, Kai read this book, in an attempt to spend time usefully. So he learned table etiquette, the rules of tea ceremonies, bows, a smile.
He even learned the rules for calculating at the box office.
And while working in the ninja team, together with Zane, they read books about etiquette in the city library.
The rest of the ninja didn't really like the rules of etiquette.
Jay was quite loud and gesticulated a lot, which was ignorance for high society people.
Cole hated suits. As a child, he often played hateful symphonies and cantatas in them, while his tie squeezed his throat and his jacket pressed against his muscles.
These moments are still in his nightmares.
Nya didn't want to wear dresses, heels, and follow absolutely all the rules of etiquette.
Yes, she had enough knowledge to complete the mission, but the inability to put her elbows on the table or relax her back - just no.
For this reason, Kai and Zane learned not only male but also female etiquette.
Lloyd and Jay still remember how Zane, in his perfect black tuxedo, held the hand of Kai, who was dressed in a red dress with gloves on his hands and a long wig.
HC that if Nya tripped or got hurt, Kai would do the older sibling thing and punch the area she tripped on/got hurt by until she started laughing instead.

Evil Bryan >:DDDDD
Well, more like Evil Fnaf Bryan. A Fnaf universe Bryan that turned evil. Post End Game where no one survived. Iâm sorry Lefty :,)
He decided to leave his universe and cause havoc in other universes :D
Basically a Mercenary. You pay him, he does what you ask. Get some info. Sabotage someone. Silence someone. The whole shebang. Pay him handsomely, he will make himself look like a fool and be the distraction you want him to be :)
Headcanon: He totally smokes. Definitely. He also uses kunai as his main weapon.
Dialogue:
EB: *reads the contract* BasicallyâŚyou want a distraction.
Bryan: Yup!
EB: And you want me to make myself look like an idiot?
Bryan: Yup!
EB: âŚ
EB: Pay me triple and Iâll do it.
Bryan: Deal!
âBeing underestimated is one of the biggest competitive advantages you can have. Embrace it.â - from somewhere in the internet
So this is my theory paragraph that was made after the Dylan is my brother episode and after rewatching some stuff from both channels, this was all made before the season finale I must warn you just in case my crazy brain says some stupid shit:
I think Bryan might just turn out to be the replacement for Mary in FNAC 3, because he started to get therapy right after his bio dadâs death and since Dylan confirmed he and Bryan used to go to Rat and Cat theater together it wouldnât be hard to say this could be true, and I think the therapist Bryan was seeing was his now father, and his mother married him for how well he carried for Bryan and thatâs why he always thought that Amiri was his father because thatâs as far back as he can remember, and Dylan says that the reason Bryan canât remember is because he probably repressed it like Dylan did, and we know the reason Dylan probably repressed it is because of the trauma from losing a father and his mother not caring for him and him being given to relatives other than being with his mother or Bryanâs mother, so I think the reason Bryan repressed his memory of that time and all of it before the incidents is because he was Mary, hiding in the cleaning closet as he watched past Vinnie commit his crimes on the two men, ending in their lives being lost and Bryan losing his father before his eyes
My girlfriend and I found and bought the Stanley Parable Indiebox, and we read through the entire manual and this last page killed us
The Narrator hopes we set Stanley free....đ
