Alright my money on this is kaminari mother. I mean come on she looks like she has an electric quirk and she has dark color hair with highlights witch could be blonde and black. There eye shape looks similar as well!

I don’t think these two would get along all that well 😅

i get that a lot of trauma goes on in bnha but i just realized how much Tokoyami goes through the night of the summer training camp attack and it really gets brushed over. first, his friend gets injured while saving his life, then he loses control to his quirk, his strength that he is trying to train to use to save people and in losing control to it we see a similar thing happen to him as happened to Bakugo when the sludge guy was using his body. Tokoyami is being dragged around as dark shadow chases down and tries to attack his friends. then, to stop dark shadow, Todoroki and Bakugo attack the shadow with explosions and fire and Tokoyami is in the middle of all of the commotion. As they walk back to the camp building, he is snatched up by Compress right along with Bakugo and almost kidnapped with him. i really haven’t seen this talked about and it will not leave my brain now.

AFO Quirk Theory

~So I’ve been thinking about AFO and his quirk but could never think of how to bring it up. Now that it seems he’s breaking out of prison, AFO will probably be looking to sock up on useful quirks, so what better time to theorize about his! To start, the main thought I have been mulling over is this; would AFO be able to steal a quirk like Dark Shadow.

 Dark show is different from almost every other quirk we have seen so far. He has is own personality and is able to act independently of Tokoyami. He is able to activate without Tokoyami and can even defy Tokoyami’s orders. He does this in the training camp arc when he indiscriminately attacks people in the forest despite Tokoyami demanding he stop. He is also able to move Tokoyami’s body to some extent as he drags Tokoyami along with him in his rampage. A large part of Tokoyami’s training is learning how to control Dark Shadow. Dark Shadow also has his own personality where is pretty different from Tokoyami. Now I said Dark Shadow is different from most other quirks but what quirk is he quit similar too? OFA. 

OFA can also act independently from its holder and move their bodies. During his fight against Shinsou, OFA moves Deku’s body while Deku is being brain washed. This is not exactly like Dark Shadow but it is very similar. OFA also activated on its own during the Shinsou vs Deku fight. In fact during their second fight OFA activates with out Deku purposely activating it and Deku struggles to control it after. All for one also has a consciousness. In chapter 287 we see the NANA and First in OFA and it confirms that they have been living inside the quirk all this time. Also in the movie Heroes Rising shows signs of being conscious by choosing not to stay with Bakugou. Now I do not know exactly how canon the movie is but it makes sense with what else we have seen of the quirk in the manga. 

I also think 287 show us the reason AFO cannot steal OFA. Its not that he can’t physical try to take OFA, the problem is OFO can choses not to leave its holder. In 287 AFO asks his brother to come to him and Fist basically says,, ‘fuck of we chose to stay with Deku.’ AFO says that by combining their power he and Shigaraki will be able to take OFA. I think he was talking about mental power as opposed to physical. I think that because OFA has a consciousness and strong will, it can resist AFO’s ability to take and choses to say with its holder. Shigaraki has a strong will that AFO has been helping to foster since he took in Shigaraki. He probably thinking combining their will’s is what will let him overpower his OFA.

Now how does this relate to our initial question , can AFO steal Dark Shadow? Well I think the most important similarity is the fact that the quirks are consist and have some agency independent from their users. I think the answer to this question this; It depends on how strong Dark Shadow’s will is. I think if AFO tries to take Dark Shadow, he would have a similar situation as he had in chapter 287. Dark Shadow would most likely resist being taken and if his will was strong enough he could chose to stay with Tokoyami. It would definitely be quite the struggle as AFO’s intense presence, experience, and mental strength may be too much for Dark Shadow who, if manifested when Tokoyami was 4, is only 14.

So what do You guys think? Also should I make a separate post about Dark Shadow and OFA’s similarities for people want to avoid spoilers? I mean the only big spoiler is the prison break but I wanted t be careful with the tags.~
