"What the fuck?" Regulus screamed.

He didn't get scared easily, of course. Being raised in Grimmauld Place left him rather desensitized. But walking in to the bathroom half-dressed, only to find his two best friends with blood all over their hands tended to make him a little wary.

"What's up, Reg?" Evan asked, face completely blank, like he often had red smeared on his fingers.

"Dunno," he replied sarcastically. "What's up with you two?"

"Just bonding," Barty replied, but his speech was garbled and he spat a mouthful of blood into the sink before sticking a pierced tongue at Regulus. "Think my father will like this?"

"Did...is that one of Dorcas's earrings?" Regulus asked, stunned.

"Yep!" Barty replied proudly.

Shaking his head in disbelief, Regulus backed out of the room quietly, deciding it was better not to get involved.
