" you have to move on Harry, it's not just unhealthy but wrong to yourself. All you do is sulk around here and it's simply worrisome to everyone " Hermione expressed. Harry admired her effort to come here and try to talk to harry but it simply now felt like a wasted time. It had been almost 7 months since Harry and Draco broke up and harry have had a disastrous time moving on. To conclude he couldn't. Hermione even tried setting him up with a few guys and girls but he didn't hit it off . He just couldn't move on from that blond head he still loved so much and he was to blame .

" I have mione , I have " Harry lied as he took out beer from the fridge and passed one to Hermione .

" so then you'll be going to pansy's wedding ?" Harry dreaded upon hearing the words . He knew attending her wedding meant seeing Draco and he wasn't sure he could do that, not after how they had broken up and he knew she deliberately bought it up.

" I don't think so , I've got that case I've been working on and it's been a hectic one-"

" you and I both know that's a lie " Hermione bellowed. She wasn't blind, it was clear that harry was always lying maybe because a part of him was afraid of saying the truth or maybe because he wasn't confident enough to hear his own words anymore.

" Harry either you have to move on or you have to simply forget him. You can't keep lying to you and me . I know you can't forget him, it would be completely blantly stupid. "

" Hermione I understand your worry but I will move on one day alright . Maybe today's not one of those days alright" Harry told her calmly

" but Harry -"

" Hermione please " Harry simply plead. Hermione sighed and drank her beer again .

" what if he's still in love with you too ?" The words bolted something through him , He'd be a fool if he said he didn't like the sound of it but he knew Draco , he moved on fast , faster than spells. He would never wait for him and he knew that but still he liked the sound of Draco still being in love with him .

" I know he has moved on " Harry told her as if too obvious.

" you don't know that Harry, maybe he hasn't . Maybe he's just as terrible as you . I see him Harry and he doesn't seem like someone who have moved on . Infact when I asked him about his date to the wedding he said he didn't have any and if he haven't then maybe give it another try. You're Harry and Draco for Merlin's sake " Hermione exclaimed .

" mione accept it, we like everyone else broke okay. I know him better than anyone, I know he might have moved on by now " Harry sighed

" might have ? So a part of you still believe that he might not have ?" Hermione questioned containing her excitement .

Harry exhaled " i- I don't know but it might be possible , alright. Draco's not heartless-"

" there you go then , then maybe you should go and talk to him -"

" are you insane -"

" what if he's actually waiting for you ?" Hermione asked

Harry sighed " I don't think so mione "

" you wouldn't know until ask him "

" I'm not seeing him mione. It's a completely ridiculous idea. If he wanted to see me then he would've owled me or something" Harry replied sternly

" harry, you have to admit you gave up too soon-"

" so what if I did ? It isn't like me going away mattered to him anyways !" Harry bellowed

" don't you dare pin all of this on him harry, you were as wrong as he was, did you try to apologise to him even once? It takes two to mess up something " Hermione agitated

" it's over mione okay , it doesn't matter, we're both better off without each other-"

" no you both are not okay. I see you both and you're both just lying to yourselves and I can see how unhappy you are" Hermione yelled back.

" look harry, I may not be some love guru or something but if there's one thing I know it's that what you guys had, it doesn't happen to everyone. You loved each other harry, you guys were and will always be great together and you know I'm right when I say you'll never find anyone like him " Hermione sighed. It was true, what harry and draco had, it was great, it was much more than great and maybe, just maybe harry had given up too soon without giving him a chance.

" Mione-"

" harry, you know I'm right. You're dying to see him again. You miss him " if there was pity in her voice she didn't even try to conceal it. It broke him because it was true, he missed draco very, very much and he couldn't ever hide how much he loved him.

" look give it another try, it's not that late alright. I'll tell him you want to stop by alright" she sounded desperate and harry hated when Hermione had to plead him to do something because Hermione don't plead and when she does, her instincts are always right.

" mione I don't think so it's a good idea " Harry replied giving up

" you won't know until you give it a try. If he have moved on then you'll get your closure , alright. This is important . Learn to put yourself first in life Harry " Hermione said affectionately.

" fine , I'll do it but you don't have to do anything" Harry complied and after an hour Hermione finally left . Harry didn't wanted to see Draco but a much larger part of Harry wanted to meet Draco . He'd be lying if he said he didn't feel even a little bit excited to see him again. Though he didn't wanted to go to his place unannounced so he sent a patronus claiming he would like to meet up in an hour at his place. Earning a reply from Draco , Harry decided he had to go now . Even then Harry didn't wanted to completely go , a strange fear struck his heart that maybe , just maybe Draco was already with someone else.

Still Harry showed up at Draco's place , decided to face his fear and If it doesn't work out then as Hermione said , Maybe he'll get his closure .

Harry finally rang the bell of house 14 trunt avenue and within a minute or so Draco showed up at the door .

" hi " Draco said when Harry had stood there speechless just observing him . It was a wish come true , seeing Draco again, seeing that same face again that he had kissed so many times , the face that lit up even his worst days, the face he could never get enough of and now there he stood , still the same . Only then Harry replied " hey " and then he finally looked at Draco's appearance . He was hastily clinging onto the house robes . Harry furrowed his brows but ignored the movements.

" you said you wanted to meet? " Draco asked

" oh yeah , i- how are you ?" Harry stammered .

" i- I'm fine " Draco sounding surprised . Harry heard some rustling from his house but before Harry could see anything Draco had blocked his sight .

" i- anyways - I wanted to ask -"

" Draco " someone called from inside . It sounded like a guy, his voice startled Draco .

" I didn't know you had company " Harry said frowning

" it's nothing. It's just someone f- I know " Draco clumsily replied .

" oh " Harry fell silent. He wanted to say something but this throat contracted over and over again disabling harry from forming any sentence. He looked down at this feet and swallowed his emotions but he wasn't sure if anything helped at all anymore . His worst fear invaded him , Draco had moved on and was already with Someone new . Draco had already forgotten what was it like being with Harry , he already forgotten how much he loved Harry and how much Harry loved him back .

" anyways you were asking something ?" Draco said pulling Harry out from the whirling feelings causing a storm inside him.

" ri- right yeah. Nevermind. I- I'm sorry to disturb you. I - I should go " his voice cracked as he turned around . He couldn't stay any longer, he just couldn't . Draco had moved on.

" Harry wait " he heard Draco yell behind him but Harry had already crossed the front door.

" Harry please wait " he heard Draco yell again . Harry turned around once before to get the final glimpse of the man he once loved but when he turned back around he only saw light's coming incredibly close his face .

" HARRY " was the last scream Harry remembered he heard and the last terrified look in those stormy grey eyes.

The next he remembered opening his eyes to the dingy grey room with a flickering light over his head and the window lighting up the room. Harry had no recollection of what happened after he got out of draco's house. Draco ...

" fuck you're awake " he heard someone and before he could even see who it was they had ran out but somewhere he knew that voice very well.

After the healers had checked upon harry, he was free to have visitors. One by one a few of his friends came by and talked with for a while, Ron almost yelling at harry for being a twat.

" harry there's someone who wants to meet you " Hermione said at last after exchanging glances with everyone. Before harry could've asked who it was, draco had entered the room and slowly everyone started departing.

Draco carefully sat down next to Harry's bed while harry simply looked at the other wall.

" ha-" draco cleared his throat and tried again " harry " but harry didn't reply

" how are you ?" But he didn't reply again.

" fuck- talk to me harry- please " his voice cracked and it took everything in harry to not hold draco, to tell him he's fine now, to console him, to tell him he still loves him but harry's Throat had closed completely and no words came out.

" okay don't talk to me- If that be it, I'm going to keep talking anyway " harry wanted laugh at Draco's stubbornness but didn't.

" I don't think you know but you got h-hi- hit by a b-bus when you walked out of my house. The driver was a muggle so he's I don't know In some muggle auror thing" harry wanted to correct him and tell him it's called a police but again he didn't say anything.

" I missed you " he spoke again and waited for harry to say something but he didn't reply. He belonged to another man now, he reminded himself.

" fuck- just - fine. At least just tell me why did you come by ? " Harry still didn't answer

" I don't get it, why are you mad at me !? I didn't hit you with a bus. I see you after 7 fucking months and then you suddenly get mad at me. Do you even fucking know how much I missed you, no because your inflated ass didn't care. Why would you care right ?" Still harry replied nothing and then he heard it, the whimpers, the desperation in his cries.

" harry please. This is worse than anything else " draco cried. A tear briskly fell down from Harry's eyes but he stared up at the ceiling. He felt a water droplet on his left hand . He cursed himself for being an asshole but he couldn't decide why exactly was he being an asshole. Draco carefully took his hand and swiftly rubbed his thumb over Harry's knuckles and cried again.

" f-fine if you don't want to talk I'm not going bother you. Take care harry" and draco swiped the hair out of Harry's forehead and kissed his forehead softly.

" I missed you " harry broke out just as draco was about to leave his hand.

" harry" draco cried and held Harry's hand more tightly.

" why- why didn't you say anything until now ?" Draco cried .

" i- I don't know. You're with someone and I fe-"

" I'm with someone ? Which moron told you that ?" Draco was agitated but still didn't stop crying.

" when I came, I heard someone and I thought -"

" and you thought, you assumed I was with someone and forget about us. Good lord harry. It was Blaise, he had come by to discuss something about pansy's wedding while I was just about to go for a bath. And you thought- I can't believe you. You really thought I would be with anyone else after you -"

" hey if you were me you would've thought the same " harry furiously replied

" yes but I won't fucking get hit by a bus " draco bellowed . They felt silent until slowly both of them broke into fit of laughter and laughed for quite few moments at the absurdity of both of them.

" I - I missed you so much " draco smiled after the laughter had dissolved and caressed Harry's hand softly.

" I missed you too " harry replied in tears.

" I love you so much and I just- I don't want to leave you ever again " draco said, tears filling his eyes.

" I don't want to go. I was so stupid" harry let the tears flow.

" fuck me too. did I tell you how much I missed you?" Draco asked again as he inched closer to harry.

" yes you did and he only got hit by a bus and look at you two crying like fucking babies. Get a grip for Merlin's sake " Ron sniggered as he barged into the room

" Ron, they just got back together" Hermione hit his arm Playfully.

Draco smiled back at harry and carefully kisses his lips " I love you "

" I love you too "

" get a room " Ron groaned.

" Weasley we had a room until you barged in" Draco rolled his eyes and just like that the room filled with laughter again.

And everything got back to how it used to be like the puzzle was finally complete once again, the missing piece was finally home and harry cherished it till his last breath.

Hi, i'm searching for a drarry fanfic wich i don't remember the name. Was a one shot, I think, in where draco and harry was talking by owls all summer and harry go to the malfoy mansion to convice draco to go back to hogwarts after the war. All the one shot was harry being in love with draco and trying to find out how to confess to him and being all frendly with him, and all harry's friends being tired of him being all obssesed with draco like 'oh no is 6th year again'. If this sound to you, please tell me the name of it.

I'm not quite sure if I've even read it. If anyone else knows do tell . I would like to read it too.

Harry rushed through the objects desperately trying to find the last hocrux he had returned to Hogwarts looking for , home was what he used to call it once , now it was not more than mere abolished liberty. He had almost found the hocrux when suddenly he heard the familiar voice

" that's not yours "

Harry turned about to see Draco holding a wand against him

" well losers loss Malfoy , who's are you holding ?" Harry said grimly as he lopsidedly tried finding the hocrux

" my mother's . It doesn't quite understand me " Draco replied lowering his wand . There was something about the way draco seemed that didn't quite fit well, something that was entirely different about him and harry couldn't stop himself from asking

" why didn't you tell her that night ? Bellatrix .. You knew it was me , why didn't you tell her ? You're not even with voldemort right now , I'm sure he'll be waiting for you ? "

Draco wanted to say so many things but he didn't. He had spent years bidding about wanting to see harry losing one day but now when the possibility was so close, Draco was afraid. It was almost as if Draco didn't wanted harry to lose anymore , if anything Draco only came to Hogwarts because he wanted harry to win . He was tired of putting up a Slytherin facade , The pureblood mania , he was tired of pretending that he didn't care even if a little bit.

Draco finally lowered his wand " go "

" what ?" Harry was surprised by what draco had just said

" I'm saying go , runaway "

" you're not actually suggesting that are you ?" Harry replied astounded

" I am "

" if you want to live potter , just go " draco added

" you want me to live ? wait this isn't some sort of vicious plan to keep my distracted until he comes and get me " harry grimly asked

" Potter That man out there is more brutal than anyone I've ever seen , he would torture you , exhaust you , make you suffer so much , just go while you can. Don't fight him " Draco desperately said .

" isn't it too late for that malfoy , haven't I already been tortured , suffered enough already , hell I don't even know the last time I didn't feel exhausted . I can't walk away from this war , these people out there , their lives depend on me. If I don't fight today Malfoy I would never again and he is not going to stop until I stop him , so you can save your advice because no matter what I am going out there to face him . Why do you even care though ? Thought you always wanted me dead ?" Harry bashed

" dead , me wanting you dead ? You daft dimbo you're the reason I am here today ! If there's someone who wants to be dead it's me , when he knows I want you to runaway he'll probably kill me anyways . I'm doing you a favour here harry , run "

" and leave this all behind , are you insane ! Its a war malfoy , he isn't going to stop . Thought you knew better . You lived with that man in your mansion "

" exactly I lived with that man . He's capable of anything . You don't even know if you'll walk out of the war fine or not . Hell you might even die-"

" but I don't care if i die now , don't you understand I have to do this or all of this would've been a waste. Malfoy if you're seriously trying to keep me busy do me a favour one last time and don't do anything to get me murdered before time-"

" you are oblivious " draco suddenly said , his wand no longer pointed at harry but firm in his grip

" what'd you mean I'm oblivious ?"

" I'm trying to help you here and you are so destined to see that I want you dead " a flicker of hurt shot through Draco , if this was how harry saw him , the world would too .

Harry was stunned but he wanted to believe Draco , he wanted to. He had indeed saved Harry's life even if it were once , he did . What harry and draco had was some stupid rivalry among school boys but harry never actually hated Draco , not after what he had done to him an year ago but before harry could've said anything Crabbe had set the room on fire and draco and harry separated with so many unspoken words. It suddenly dawned upon harry that Draco was nothing more than what he is , responsibilities bored upon him that he didn't like , tortured the same way harry had been , inflicted with choices he couldn't choose from . In that moment harry just wanted to see Draco once again and tell him thing's draco deserved to hear . But it was in a thin air when harry circled the room on the broom , Ron yelling at him but harry was determined to save Draco , if anything harry owed him .

When harry finally saw Draco standing upon the pile he was looking down at the fire not mere inches from the edge , so close that draco could've even jumped but he didn't. Right then harry had helped Draco to come with him , he owed him harry told himself but there were greater reason harry wasn't ready to confer yet.

They flew across the room and zoomed out right before the door slammed shut leaving harry and draco gasping for air as they rolled over the ground.

" you alright ?" Harry asked as soon as he got back his breath . Draco looked at him for a moment before nodding . They stayed in a minute of silence before Harry spoke up because he knew if not now then he would never say these words

" listen mafoy " Harry said " I - I just want you to know you're not a bad guy . I know you think you are but you're not , if you were you wouldn't had saved me that night in the manor and even if you think you are the bad guy then I am just as bad as you are. Just thought you should know , also thank you "

" i- I don't- thanks potter " Draco mumbled, that was all he could say . Harry nodded at him deciding to get up and go but Draco stopped him, one last time.

" Harry , make it out alive could you ? You are probably the only reason I am here today , it's not just other people's lives that relies on you . That night in the manor I could've sworn you were there without even looking at you , I just , I couldn't have seen you die before me . It would've been too much . And I never really hated you , all my life it was just my guts because maybe I wanted to be like you but now that I see you right now I know you're one of a kind potter . Hell after all this time I wish we could renew things or maybe just go back and start over or I don't know maybe re-establish. I mean if you come back maybe we could -"

" Draco "

" start over agai-"

" Draco listen " Draco finally looked up to see Harry contently looking at Draco not mere inches away from him .

" I can't promise anything. I can die out there ,if not by him , probably something else might kill me " Harry smiled

" can you at least try ?" Draco said in utter desperation. It took everything in Harry to not hug him right but Harry knew it would be a weak call . He had so much on his plate and hugging Draco right now would just make things unbelievably hard

" I will try " Harry replied in a low mumble holding Draco's hands in his but he had lost every bit of shred in him and the thought of losing Harry had caused a chaos that only tore Draco up and before he could think twice he hugged Harry tighter than he wanted to .

Separating from the hug was the hardest things Draco possibly could've done right now , he didn't wanted to let go but the war wasn't going to stop. Just a few moments. Draco thought , he only needed a few moments with Harry.

" maybe if I do come back , we could start over again and maybe could be more than just friends " Harry whispered as he pressed their forehead together. He needed to go but a much larger part of him wasn't ready to leave him . Just a few more moments Harry thought .

" you would want that ?" Draco anxiously asked .

" yes I would -" but before Harry could anything else a spell was thrown on the wall behind Harry .

Draco's life as if flashed before him he placed a chaste kiss on Harry's lips . Harry grinned cherishing the fact that he was kissed by Draco malfoy , he kissed him back again enjoying a few moment of vulnerability .

" I must go now-" Harry said desperately not letting go yet.

" I'll wait for you " Draco said cupping Harry's cheeks and kissing him again . In that moment Harry thought , everything about his life was forever changed and he was proud to say he didn't regret it .
