you know what’s also funny? when i said november last year when it was the first time i watched harry potter in forever well that same night i stared reading harry potter fanfics and that’s when i started shipping drarry fun fact here i knew drarry was a thing before i watched harry potter again in a long while but are you ready for what i’m about to say? i never used to not ship drarry again i knew the ship was a thing but i never shipped them actually i never cared for enemies to lovers then i was like how did people ship draco and harry didn’t they hate each other? well that night when i was going though harry potter fanfics to read i decided you know what lim just gonna try and read a drarry fanfic give it a try see what the hype is all about if it don’t interest me then oh well but we’ll it did interest me i forgot what the first drarry fanfic i read but whatever fic it was i feel in love i loved it then i read drarry fic after another after a nother after a nother and was like i can see why people love drarry fanfiction then i download the harry potter movies on my laptop for free so i can watch the harry potter movies whenever i want if it’s not on tv not only the fanfics made me ship drarry the movies did to after watching the movies a million times because i can and i still do😂 i started paying attention to scenes between harry and draco even though their Conversation are snarky remarks and all but their body language and their tension just screams oh yea they are definitely secretly in love with each other like i can name drarry scenes that says draco you are so in love with harry and harry you are so in love with draco okay starting with prisoner of azkaban when hagrid was teaching class before draco taunted harry about the dementors draco walked up to harry and biting his lip also in prisoner of azkaban when snape was teaching class about werewolf’s draco drew that drawing of harry and made into a bird swan origami and blew it to him like a blowing a kiss and in the deathly hallows part 1 draco did not reveal to his parents and bellatrix that that was harry when harry face was unrecognizable by that stinging jinx spell like draco did recognize him and knew it was him but did not want to give him up to voldemort and in the last movie the deathly hallows part 2 one scene was cut still pissed about btw is when draco gave harry his wand so harry can defeat voldemort and the same movie deathly hallows part 2 most all drarry fan can agree on this and still freak out over when harry saved draco life in the room of requirement when it was set on fire by goyle so draco saved harry’s life twice one by not giving him up to voldemort and second saving his life by giving his wand to harry so harry can save himself and everyone by defending voldemort mind you harry never had his own wand with him when killing voldemort no one else gave harry their wand draco did the movie just showed you and thought the wand harry killed voldemort with was his because like i said the scene that shows draco giving harry his wand was cut from the movie it’s a deleted scene that scene should of never been cut from the movie at all but that scene also showed draco redemption arc i still really hate the creators for cutting draco redemption arc and the drarry scene there’s so many great drarry moments in each movie but it will take too long to write and post this post is long enough i just want to let everyone know how i started shipping drarry the same night i started watching harry potter again in so long last year of november the morning after thanksgiving❤️

I like to think about harry looking at Draco , his boyfriend from the corner of the room in a party with night changes by one direction playing in the background and smiling to himself , really just how fast the night changes .

Draco hated this feeling , this feeling inside of him that caused a whirl inside him , that feeling that made the music rhythm in his every nerve as if maybe the songs were playing in the background but he couldn't help than look at that obnoxious brunette from the corner of the bar , he very much knew he was reason for those stupid feelings but the thought of harry dancing with someone else boiled him . So when came sweater weather on record he got up from his stool and strode towards harry .

" couldn't stop looking could you ?" Harry teased as he turned around to dance with Draco

" whatever helps you sleep at night potter "

" and here I thought we were on first name basis " harry grinned foolishly and there , right there that thing made something flip inside draco's heart , as if something danced, a sensation that left him tingling.

Without even a seconds hesitation draco pressed his lips to harry , encircling his hands around Harry's waist as the beat of the music picked up coming towards an end .

Harry grinned as soon as they separated

"Now for today's special announcement , forbidden forest is still out of bounds , third floor halls are forbidden for anyone below 3rd year and a list of all that I can see right now is stuck outside Mr. Filch's office, kindly do the favour of actually going through it once " Ms. McGonagall announced with stern look , the new headmastress of Hogwarts. There were a few snickers around the hall which came to a halt as soon as she began speaking again

" Now for the more important announcements for the year, as we have all have suffered immensely in the period of war and many were on the run due to the investigations in the ministry or otherwise , the school have decided to keep recapitulation classes for the students in 8th year who have missed the entire year and wish to learn " Minerva briefly looked at Ron , Hermione and harry , who weren't surprised to know that they did get indirect attention .

" the recapitulation classes would only cover the important topics of the year and an exam at the end of march which will not be accounted for in the future or the year exams . These will only be experimental classes without any of the theoretical homework if you have wondered . We understand the immense amount of grief you all have suffered but it is important for every wizard and witch who dreams to end up somewhere to know what they will face outside. I repeat the classes will only be for year 8th and year 7th students if they wish to join. The rest of the information would be given in the classes . Interested students may drop by my office and submit their names later. To the next part , to build unity among school, we have arranged inter house collective quidditch matches. For the rest of the year Slytherin and Gryffindor House will be one team and Hufflepuff and ravenclaw will be one team who will play against another. Off you go now " Minerva ended her speech with immense amount of groans from the entire hall. Quidditch as Harry liked to think was the only way to let off some heat if he was mad at the other house, especially Slytherin but now as they had been combined it would be rather difficult .

As months went by, quidditch faced more and more trouble for Slytherin and gryffindor team, the problem being there couldn't be 2 seekers coming from the history that Draco and harry both were great seekers. As more and more trouble began to come up , it was decided that only for the position of seeker there will be 2 players for each team meaning 4 seekers in total and 2 snitches to be caught.

This might've developed in the quidditch practices that harry declared he neither hated Draco nor liked him any more than anyone else. The only problem however was, he was lying to himself. There wasn't a Doubt that draco had changed quite a lot in the past few months and that might've made harry question his sexuality. It was after one of the practices when he was getting into the showers he bumped into Draco who had just gotten out of the shower. While harry was either busy looking at the scars on draco's exposed chest or looking at his exposed body, he didn't know, draco had been telling him something that harry didn't quite get.

" are you even listening ?" Draco snapped his fingers in front of Harry's face. He finally looked up to draco's face which held an amused smile.

" I said there isn't enough hot water left " Draco replied smirking when harry didn't say anything. In the thick intensity of the moment harry without a word hurriedly left for the common room, again shared with Slytherin. Harry liked to believe that it was done purposely to torture him right now. It didn't help that draco showed up not more than 15 minutes later and didn't stop smirking at harry. The moment however soon died out in a couple of days.

Everything was fine or not weird as harry liked to believe until the week before Christmas . Harry was going back from potions recapitulation classes (which frankly harry still hated to be in, if it wasn't for Hermione he wouldn't had joined at all) when he realised he had accidentally picked up draco's wand instead of his. The only problem with it was that he had look almost everywhere for draco until he finally found him in astronomy tower ( he really was slow at using marauders map) . Draco didn't refuse Harry's invitation and they ended up talking about a lot more than they let on, harry blamed the firewhiskey that draco smuggled for finding draco's presence downright pleasing.

It was the next day during disapparation lessons things got a bit too suspicious for harry. It was as if whatever harry liked to do now involved Slytherin and more specifically, a particular Slytherin, Draco which only made things for harry bit more difficult.

" now I know most of you have already learnt apparation however a few of you aren't ministry approved yet. If anyone who's already ministry approved is more than welcome to leave or stay" as soon Mr. Lloyd said a few students left the classroom, leaving harry, Draco, Ron, Hermione by choice, Dean, Seamus again by choice or not a choice who knew and a couple others. The leftover students were immediately put into pairs and they began with the lesson.

Harry and draco stood alongside listening to the instructions carefully and soon started performing. The weird thing was right after alongside apparation between harry Draco, harry noticed something strange .

" where's your tie ?" Harry asked . Draco furrowed his eyebrows slowly touching around his neck only to find his tie was missing. It wasn't the only thing, harry was suddenly very much aware of his missing sock in his left foot. They assumed it might've loosened before apparation and fell out and It was indeed on the floor. This didn't however help the fact that his sock was missing. He looked back at Ron and held the same expression as harry, as if a part of the clothing was missing. They didn't really talk about it and the next day again came back for apparation tests. Harry again apparated along with Draco and this time he was aware of his lost belt which harry later on found behind draco's legs. Draco had a missing missing shoe. Their curiosity lingered on but they assumed that it was something wrong that they were doing because nobody else in the room seemed to have missing a shoe or a sock or in his case a belt except ofcourse Ron who frankly harry thought was just as wrong as him.

Harry and draco decided they'd practice the apparation in hogsmeade after hanging out together like Hermione had suggested to do but no matter what they tried something was missing and each time more items were missing. It was just after harry has lost his shirt while practicing that they came to halt. It got more awkward than he had liked to admit, it was the same as the day of that quidditch practise because draco was left speechless. Harry himself wanted to tease Draco for staring but had simply obliged with not doing so.

They practiced for a few more days after their usual hang out at astronomy tower until one day they both were rendered with nothing but boxers while practicing. They knew something was definitely wrong but were too embarrassed to say anything. As a few more seconds went it became hot and bothering for both of them that they dressed up and decided not to practice anymore and maybe practice with someone who had already passed the test. The weird part was, they both knew apparation very well.

Their questions weren't answered until among the last few lessons of apparation Hermione had questioned something almost just as embarrassed as harry was that day.

"Mr. Lloyd are there any other potential side effects of apparation other than splinching ?"

" oh yes my girl " he smiled " it's not a very discussed side effect considering its only applicable for young men and not women and in most cases not even evident "

" do you think we had potential side effects ?" Draco whispered in Harry's ear, if only draco knew how much it bothered him. Harry shrugged off knowing if he opened his mouth his voice would come out high pitched.

" you see if a young man have unrealised attraction towards someone then during a side along apparation they might lose their clothing while disapparating . It might even be little things if the feelings aren't that strong but the stronger the feelings are the more you'll lose the clothing. However it's only applicable during side along apparation with their love interest and not otherwise. This might somehow be used to identify your lover or soon to be lover , something like amrotentia " mr. Llyod ended with a strange smile over his face, as if he was almost proud of not sharing that information earlier.

If harry didn't know any better the situation between Draco and harry grew much more awkward than it was previously and the entire lesson they couldn't stop blushing. Harry looked at Ron behind and he knew that Ron had experienced the strange side effect with none other than Hermione, he chose not to ask him about it.

When the lesson ended harry walked out along with draco not breaking the silence until Draco spoke up " so I guess now you know "

" I guess now we both know " harry replied much more in the sense that they had come face to face with the fact that they had feelings for each other that they didn't know of. Maybe it started from after the day of quidditch practice or maybe it was the playful lessons, he couldn't care anymore . He liked draco and that was the bottom line.

" so..." Draco turned to harry blushing Scarlett red while running the back of his neck nervously.

" I think it's better if the next time we do apparation we're doing it after a date " harry smiled. Draco was almost shocked and embarrassed of thinking about the aftermath of the date " really !"

" I think there's nothing more left for us to do right!" Harry replied shrugging. Draco smiled at harry and nodded .

" I'll send you the note for the date then" harry replied awkwardly. Draco bit his lip lightly before nodding and walked back to the tower together.

" harry ?" Draco held harry back by his wrist before entering the dorm tower.

Harry turned to Draco with a confused expression.

His confusion was washed away when Draco lightly pecked Harry's cheeks " I look forward to the date harry potter " and he left.

Harry was left there blushing to himself lightly touching where draco had kissed his cheek. It felt nice harry thought. It was better than nice and harry entered his room and giddily threw himself onto the bed. He felt like a teenage girl.

It was after the first date that the losing clothes after apparation did not matter much, they had already planned the night anyways.

It might have started in 4th year or maybe it was during the time harry was on the run or during the war or during the lunch breaks at the auror office or during the hangouts when harry used to defend him or it may have started during the stay over harry used to insist upon. It may have started along the line but draco like every human inevitably developed feelings for harry and as much as he wanted to call out himself for such stupidity he immensely enjoyed the feelings.

The only problem was that harry was a huge flirt, hell that boy even flirted with Ron. It became a problem sooner when harry used to flirt with draco and he couldn't control his blush as much as he wanted to and to make it worse harry teased draco for blushing.

Harry was the host of the group and every gathering whenever happened occured at Harry's place. This happened so after they all had returned from a ministry party and decided to land by at Harry's place for a while.

" mione save me " Ron cried and threw himself onto Hermione who was enjoying the conversation with pansy and draco about some muggle work they had read recently. Apparently harry had been flirtatious again.

" I haven't dated anyone since Astoria, I'm glad she's happily engaged by the way but I didn't thoroughly enjoyed dating her so it kinda ruined my dating perception. I have a few dates every now and then, few ended up with one night stands but that's about it " draco replied

" but isn't there anyone you like ?" Harry asked smirking. Draco wanted to throw a pillow at harry, who was he to ask when he didn't tell who he liked.

" I- uh - it's complicated" draco sighed .

" come on tell us, we love complicated " harry sat now more closer to harry, to the point that if he moved any closer then he'd be sitting in draco's laps.

" from what I'm getting it might be something in between of amrotentia and polyjuice potion only going incredibly wrong. Although the transformation from polyjuice potion requires a strand of someone's hair but the diagnostics says otherwise " draco read the case carefully

" the diagnostics are still a bit unsure " harry replied looking at Draco intently reading the other side effects of the some sort of poision

" whoever made that potion wasn't intending on killing anyone, actually it doesn't even seem like a poisioning case but it's uncertain. I think I might be able to run a better diagnostic of the potion if I could look more closely at the components of the victims blood And - I - what ?" Draco finally looked up at harry who now was sitting incredibly close to draco and staring at him.

" harry " draco whispered but harry had pushed the files away.

" you have to move on Harry, it's not just unhealthy but wrong to yourself. All you do is sulk around here and it's simply worrisome to everyone " Hermione expressed. Harry admired her effort to come here and try to talk to harry but it simply now felt like a wasted time. It had been almost 7 months since Harry and Draco broke up and harry have had a disastrous time moving on. To conclude he couldn't. Hermione even tried setting him up with a few guys and girls but he didn't hit it off . He just couldn't move on from that blond head he still loved so much and he was to blame .

" I have mione , I have " Harry lied as he took out beer from the fridge and passed one to Hermione .

" so then you'll be going to pansy's wedding ?" Harry dreaded upon hearing the words . He knew attending her wedding meant seeing Draco and he wasn't sure he could do that, not after how they had broken up and he knew she deliberately bought it up.

" I don't think so , I've got that case I've been working on and it's been a hectic one-"

Though he didn't wanted to go to his place unannounced so he sent a patronus claiming he would like to meet up in an hour at his place. Earning a reply from Draco , Harry decided he had to go now . Harry finally rang the bell of house 14 trunt avenue and within a minute or so Draco showed up at the door .

" hi " Draco said when Harry had stood there speechless just observing him . Only then Harry replied " hey " and then he finally looked at Draco's appearance . He was hastily clinging onto the house robes . Harry furrowed his brows but ignored the movements.

" you said you wanted to meet? " Draco asked

" oh yeah , i- how are you ?" Harry stammered .

" i- I'm fine " Draco sounding surprised . Harry heard some rustling from his house but before Harry could see anything Draco had blocked his sight .

" i- anyways - I wanted to ask -"

" Draco " someone called from inside . It sounded like a guy, his voice startled Draco .

" I didn't know you had company " Harry said frowning

" it's nothing. It's just someone f- I know " Draco clumsily replied .

" oh " Harry fell silent. He wanted to say something but this throat contracted over and over again disabling harry from forming any sentence. He looked down at this feet and swallowed his emotions but he wasn't sure if anything helped at all anymore . His worst fear invaded him , Draco had moved on and was already with Someone new . Draco had already forgotten what was it like being with Harry , he already forgotten how much he loved Harry and how much Harry loved him back .

" anyways you were asking something ?" Draco said pulling Harry out from the whirling feelings causing a storm inside him.

" ri- right yeah. Nevermind. I- I'm sorry to disturb you. I - I should go " his voice cracked as he turned around . He couldn't stay any longer, he just couldn't . Draco had moved on.

" Harry wait " he heard Draco yell behind him but Harry had already crossed the front door.

" Harry please wait " he heard Draco yell again . Harry turned around once before to get the final glimpse of the man he once loved but when he turned back around he only saw light's coming incredibly close his face .

" HARRY " was the last scream Harry remembered he heard and the last terrified look in those stormy grey eyes.

The next he remembered opening his eyes to the dingy grey room with a flickering light over his head and the window lighting up the room. Harry had no recollection of what happened after he got out of draco's house. Draco ...

" fuck you're awake " he heard someone and before he could even see who it was they had ran out but somewhere he knew that voice very well.

After the healers had checked upon harry, he was free to have visitors. One by one a few of his friends came by and talked with for a while, Ron almost yelling at harry for being a twat.

" harry there's someone who wants to meet you " Hermione said at last after exchanging glances with everyone. Before harry could've asked who it was, draco had entered the room and slowly everyone started departing.

Draco carefully sat down next to Harry's bed while harry simply looked at the other wall.

" ha-" draco cleared his throat and tried again " harry " but harry didn't reply

" how are you ?" But he didn't reply again.

" fuck- talk to me harry- please " his voice cracked and it took everything in harry to not hold draco, to tell him he's fine now, to console him, to tell him he still loves him but harry's Throat had closed completely and no words came out.

" okay don't talk to me- If that be it, I'm going to keep talking anyway " harry wanted laugh at Draco's stubbornness but didn't.

" I don't think you know but you got h-hi- hit by a b-bus when you walked out of my house. The driver was a muggle so he's I don't know In some muggle auror thing" harry wanted to correct him and tell him it's called a police but again he didn't say anything.

" I missed you " he spoke again and waited for harry to say something but he didn't reply. He belonged to another man now, he reminded himself.

" fuck- just - fine. At least just tell me why did you come by ? " Harry still didn't answer

" I don't get it, why are you mad at me !? I didn't hit you with a bus. I see you after 7 fucking months and then you suddenly get mad at me. Do you even fucking know how much I missed you, no because your inflated ass didn't care. Why would you care right ?" Still harry replied nothing and then he heard it, the whimpers, the desperation in his cries.

" harry please. This is worse than anything else " draco cried. A tear briskly fell down from Harry's eyes but he stared up at the ceiling. He felt a water droplet on his left hand . He cursed himself for being an asshole but he couldn't decide why exactly was he being an asshole. Draco carefully took his hand and swiftly rubbed his thumb over Harry's knuckles and cried again.

" f-fine if you don't want to talk I'm not going bother you. Take care harry" and draco swiped the hair out of Harry's forehead and kissed his forehead softly.

" I missed you " harry broke out just as draco was about to leave his hand.

" harry" draco cried and held Harry's hand more tightly.

" why- why didn't you say anything until now ?" Draco cried .

" i- I don't know. You're with someone and I fe-"

" I'm with someone ? Which moron told you that ?" Draco was agitated but still didn't stop crying.

" when I came, I heard someone and I thought -"

It was Blaise, he had come by to discuss something about pansy's wedding while I was just about to go for a bath. And you thought- I can't believe you. You really thought I would be with anyone else after you -"

" yes but I won't fucking get hit by a bus " draco bellowed . They felt silent until slowly both of them broke into fit of laughter and laughed for quite few moments at the absurdity of both of them.

" I - I missed you so much " draco smiled after the laughter had dissolved and caressed Harry's hand softly.

" I missed you too " harry replied in tears.

" I love you so much and I just- I don't want to leave you ever again " draco said, tears filling his eyes.

" I don't want to go. I was so stupid" harry let the tears flow.

" fuck me too. did I tell you how much I missed you?" Draco asked again as he inched closer to harry.

" yes you did and he only got hit by a bus and look at you two crying like fucking babies. Get a grip for Merlin's sake " Ron sniggered as he barged into the room

" Ron, they just got back together" Hermione hit his arm Playfully.

Voldemort had evaporated like ashes in the air, not a single shred of him was left anymore . There were cheers from all across the halls and people were jumping up and down with excitement, contentment, happiness. Some were crying tears of happiness, some reunited with their families, some were kissing and harry was there watching all of it. And then he saw the glimmering eyes towards him, the eyes that held hope after all, the eyes that held respect, eyes that were now filled with love. Wizarding world had won the war, harry had after 7 years fought voldemort and almost died in the process but killed him. They had won the fucking war.

Before Harry could've acknowledged what had happened Hermione had hugged Harry tighter than she had ever before and with tears brimming in his eyes, Ron had too joined along. They laughed and cheered him on, told him how proud they were of him. They loved him and he loved them too, after all they were now his only family left and that thought ached him but just for a little bit he thought, he could be selfish and cry in joy that they had won against Voldemort.

And then his eyes fell upon the blonde sitting in corner with his parents. He threw a vivid smile at Draco and he smiled back. Harry came back and Draco couldn't he more happy ,yet he was terrified.

The days flew a little faster than Harry would have anticipated. In the honour of winning the war , few people had stayed behind at Hogwarts while a few returned home. To harry, Hogwarts was home and he wanted to do anything to make it feel like home again. The reconstruction of Hogwarts started 2 days after the war and harry had suddenly grown very much in popularity. He was the most wanted man in Britain, in a good way.

He was probably walking back from Ms. McGonagall's office when he ran into Draco. Draco merely smiled at harry and walked away. The words shared between them before the war had somehow been forgotten but it has sure developed a relationship between Harry and Draco that wasn't hate anymore. It was only during the last week at Hogwarts when almost everyone had left and only a few had remained. Even Ron and Hermione flew back home and despite their offer to harry, he didn't go along with them. In the last week at Hogwarts, he realised only a few Hufflepuff had remained, ravenclaw's table remained empty , only Draco and few Slytherin's at the Slytherin's table and a few of Gryffindor's who Harry didn't really knew. He had been staring at Draco quite awful lot, he had presumed one of these days Draco would've bought up something about what happened before war but he didn't. Quite frankly Draco looked far more distracted than anything else. It's not like Harry didn't find himself lost in thoughts but Draco looked worse somehow, almost the same how he looked back in 6th year.

It was exactly 5 days before they would've left for home when Harry gathered his courage and went to Slytherin's table. As soon as Draco saw Harry, he flinched at first but calmed down right away.

" how have you been ?" They both asked simultaneously . They smiled at each other before Draco asked him to go first.

" i- I'm not entirely sure. There's a part which feels fine but then there's this part of me which doesn't. They both kinda co-evolve " Harry replied thinking wisely of what to say

They both fell silent, maybe even enjoying the fact that in the silence they weren't totally alone. The fatality of the war had left them only with each other, it was quite surprising how neither would've imagined life would turn to be this way but the truth was, right now nobody understood them better than each other.

" i- I- you must be wondering why I hadn't came to talk to you after t-that night ?" Draco finally mumbled . Harry shook his head. He understood Draco, he understood the situations they were both in but only a cruel man would be selfish enough to not give the other time for themselves.

" it doesn't feel the same anymore, does it ?" Harry asked. Draco shook his head. Nothing felt the same anymore. Almost as if nothing was real, as if it was a dream they didn't wanted to be awake from.

" Harry-"

" Draco-" they chuckled at the occurrence of the situation twice . This time Harry let Draco talk first.

" I know it's a bit too early to think of this stuff but w- you deserve a little break from all of it. I understand you wanting your time alone but I meant what I said that night. I meant each and every word of it. To be honest I was a-afraid you wouldn't su-survive but now that you have I don't know how to tell you how happy I am that you have "

Harry smiled at him lightly " Draco, you too deserve a break. You were as much as in the war as I was, and yes I do deserve a little break and I'm glad you meant your words that night because then I - I wouldn't had been sitting here. I know we come from a lot of different backgrounds but we're humans right and I would like to continue what we started that night. Maybe stick to our words ?" Harry asked carefully

" I'd like that " Draco smiled after a moment.

" are you sure though ?" Draco asked with concern . Harry nodded.

Harry decided that he didn't wanted to take Draco out on a fancy date but he wanted to make it seem like it meant something. He didn't want any wine or drinks or a fancy restaurant to take him to a date because none of it mattered, all those things didn't make up for how he wanted to treat Draco. He wanted it simple because that's how it is supposed to be now. Simple.

Harry waited outside the Great hall at 4 for Draco who was right on time and they fled off to the destination of the date. It was simple just as Harry had wanted it. It was a small picnic at the cliff side what you could see from the astronomy tower if you looked carefully.

When supposedly Voldemort had control of my mind I used to feel well deserted- more isolated from anyone, almost angry so i used to just come here and well spend time here. Somedays I even wrote Sirius letter's from here. It bought peace " Harry explained. Draco watched Harry intently as he explained and he thought if he could only Harry in sunlight, he might be able to see his eyes shine differently.

" I'm sorry about si- I mean your godfather"Draco gave him a small smile

" you'll run out of sorry's if you're going to be sorry for people who have died in my life" Harry answered. Draco frowned

" it isn't funny "

" yeah - I just heard it out loud and it sounded insensitive of me " Harry replied and chuckled soon after , Draco joining along.

" I can Only imagine what must it be like for you " Draco consoled

" i- thanks I guess " Harry replied furrowing his eyebrows not sure what was the correct answer to it.

They sat for a few moments in silence until Draco broke it

" if you're doing that, check my pulse as well" Harry chuckled. Draco jokingly checked Harry's pulse and soon broke into content laughter.

" I'm glad we did this " Harry said . Draco smiled and nodded .

" I meant what I said that day Harry. I never really hated you but I was just bought up to hate you , you know. Sometimes you watch and learn from people around your house to not do the same thing as they did and sometimes we copy their path. Me being stupid enough copied my parents. Don't think badly of me -"

" I don't Draco and you don't have to explain me anything. It's all in the past now. You've made some questionable choices and quite frankly I wasn't the most pleasant to you either. We both reciprocated that feeling of hating each others Gut " Harry shrugged it off as if it didn't matter and it didn't.

Draco wasn't used to this sort of relationship or this sort of understanding. He was bought up to believe money and power was everything and things like love didn't matter but this was different. Draco wanted to understand everything, even if it takes his whole life.

They watched the sunset together with small conversations but mostly stealing glances at each other and looking forward and maybe eating at some point.

" does it feel different Harry ? Now that it's over ?" Draco finally asked something he had been dreaming about questioning ever since the war had ended.

" i- I don't think it has quite hit me. It feels different, it feels better not being attached with Voldemort anymore but there's so many things I'm still scared off and there's so much to look forward to. It feels different but someday's it doesn't. Before this I knew my life's motive but now, I just don't know " Harry replied thinking twice before choosing his words. Draco watched him in content. This Harry was different, Draco thought. This wasn't the chosen one or the saviour of the world, it was Harry, just Harry and he could spend hours just looking at harry.

" does it feel different to you?" Harry asked him

" I may come off badly but yes. There's some part of me that's happy that won't have to see that Red eyes narcissistic creature but then there's a part of me who knows so much is changing, who knows what I will have to face, things which I haven't yet which is inevitable. It scares me. It feels different but I don't know if it's a good thing or not " Draco told him lost in his thoughts.
