On nomenclature.
According to academia, “modern” means “the 1920s”, “new” means “circa 1996”, and the “future” is what people sixty years ago thought the year 2000 would look like. What word can I use to describe stuff that’s happening now?

Fuck the idea that you can’t engage in sex acts with abstract concepts.
The earth’s water supply is a closed system, so all our fresh water was dinosaur urine at one point. So you may have been forged in the heart of a star but you were filtered through the kidney of a dinosaur, which I for one, find beautiful

NASA created retro travel posters for different locations in our solar system in hopes of inspiring young people to imagine a future where common space travel is a possibility.

Salvator merianae, the black and white tegu, also called the Argentine giant tegu, is the largest species of tegu lizard and one of the largest lizards found in the Americas, measuring as much as 2 m in length. Moreover, at the time of writing, it is the only warm-blooded lizard known to science. The discovery of its enhanced capacity for heat production and conservation is an important contribution to our understanding of how endothermy may have evolved in the ancestors of mammals and birds (and dinosaurs).
This is the conclusion of a study conducted by Brazilian and Canadian biologists at São Paulo State University’s Bioscience Institute in Rio Claro, Brazil (IBRC-UNESP), with support from FAPESP, and published in Science Advances.
The study initially involved four tegus, two males and two females. They were kept in captivity, and their body temperatures and heart rates were continuously monitored for a year.
In fairness, this is a small sample size in term of individual animals
Ok but why don’t people understand there is a difference between nightblogging and shitposting??
nightblogging is like “What if apples screamed when we bit them?”
Shitposting is like “a crisp one donger bill”
One is more coherent than the other.
