if shadow was submerged in green goo while he was developing it's possible that gerald n maria didn't know he had bright red stripes. they probably just looked to be a shade of brown
I mean. gerald most likely would've know that they were red. him having created shadow and all. and probably understands colour theory. but maybe maria was suprised by the red when shadow finally got hatched
I feel so weird I really enjoyed the trailer and I am still excited to see the movie when it's available on The Websites but Shadow's voice is throwing me off so much I can't fully enjoy it
