does anyone here remember the Tumblr v. 4Chan war? i wasn't personally there, but i did recently brush up on my history, and i wanted to re-equip the populace of Tumblr with how to beat 4Chan if they ever appear again.
don't acknowledge them
don't make posts asking them to stop
don't try and ban their accounts
just log off until the storm blows over, which, depending on the responses of others, could be anywhere from a day to a week or two
do not post personal pictures. you will be photoshopped into very awful situations as long as you all heed this, 4Chan will give up, should they attack again

Yet show them something like this and they’re on the floor writhing in pain.
