i scrubbed everything about hen cheating on karen untill it gets mention or i watch s1 again from my mind so when i watched s1 ep7 last night i genuinely had a freak out like i was watching it for the first time again.

if buddie happens please do not complain about how the way they get together isn't exactly what you wanted. unless there is something seriously wrong or problematic, just leave it be, at least they get together.
if buddie doesn't happen don't go and harass the actors and crew members of the show. 9-1-1 just got renewed for s8 so i wouldn't be surprised if they drug it out another season. and, as much as i want it canon, we have fanfiction.
