An AU Where WangXian are Royalty in an Omegaverse
LWJ is the Emperor of China, and WWX his beloved empress.
That’s really all I want. I can’t...I don’t think there’s much more to say about it other than I want to see WWX being pampered like the royal but beautiful but deadly pain in the ass he is, and I’m really surprised no one’s done this yet.
NingXian Omegaverse AU Where Wen Ning Was Wei Wuxian’s Worshipful Alpha Before Lan Wangji
I dropped this idea in the GDC Discord chat already, but I’ll drop it here, too.
There’s just something appealing about such a gentle man treating his love with considerable care and reverence. Imagine it: Wen Ning pampering his pregnant spouse with what little resources are available to him in their situation, Wen Ning going absolutely crazy the day of their son’s birth but doing his best to be in control; Wen Ning crying like a baby when the actual baby is born, and Wei Wuxian laughing good-heartedly.
Of course, what’s an AU like this without a little bit of tragedy?
Only three years after Wen Yuan is born, his mother is defeated atop Luanzang Hill, his family’s home, and his father is...of unknown identity.
The Gusu Lan sect, being the compassionate sect that they are, then takes the child under their wing, and he’s renamed Lan Yuan.
Today, he’s called Lan Sizhui, and little does he know that he’s already been reunited with his mother after the incident at Mo Village.
I get behind all of this. All of it.
Good stuff.
@thecrazyanimegirl, thank you. You might hear more from me!
Hello there! Might I ask if there could pregnant smut for the ABO Emperor-Empress AU? Or maybe just Lan Wangji worshipping his empress's baby bump? Or maybe just some HC's about Wei Wuxian's pregnancy? Please and thank you!
Of course! Always more of this au (*^‿^*) This was so much fun writing!
Sorry if this took a while, I just couldn’t stop thinking about their parenting skills and their kids *goes back into hiding and starts yet another fic*
Lan Wangji wakesup to find the bed beside him empty, which is unusual, his empress never wakesup before him, his eyes dart across the room, searching, and he can feelsomething is wrong
His uneasinessworsens when he hears something, the faint sound of vomiting sending coldchills down his spine
Where is he? In a second,he is on his feet, rushing to check on Wuxian
The moment hespots him, he freezes. Does he look a bitpale? Does he look sick?
Wuxian had neverreally seen fear in Wangji’s eyes before - like ever - so he stands in front ofhis alpha, a bit taken aback, trying to reassure him that he’s feeling fine now
But Wangjidoesn’t listen, he is already slamming the door open, scaring the shit out ofhis guards, not even caring that he is not dressed yet, and demands for aphysician to be sent to his quarters immediately
He doesn’t getan answer, instead gets picked up by Wangji bridal style and carried to bed
“You areoverreacting.”
And Wangji knowsthat is true, but he can’t stop himself, the scary aura around him spreadingthroughout the whole examination, the person checking on Wuxian’s condition abit distracted by the menacing presence of the emperor
But neitherWuxian nor Wangji expected the next words
“My Emperor, theEmpress is pregnant.”
While Wuxianshows how overjoyed he is, the emperor keeps somewhat of a poker face
It’s not thatWangji is unhappy, quite on the contrary, but he gets extremely overprotectiveof Wuxian, even more than usual
Does he evenneed more guards? Well, Wangji thinkshe does, he even considers not allowing him out, but knows that it would be animpossible feat
If evenpossible, Wuxian is pampered even more, he is fed with the best foods, suddenlygot a thousand of new pillows on the bed, Wangji always takes baths with him, washing his hair and body (yes, even before his stomach started growing, whichmade no sense, but it’s not like Wuxian minded being treated like that)
There arephysicians always present by the empresses side, constantly doing check ups andannoying the hell out of Wuxian
So he spends hisdays escaping them
Everyone’s lasthope is Jiang Cheng, who tries his best to keep the empress from climbingtrees, hiding Emperor’s Smile and overall keeping him out of harms way
Which is evenharder now that Wei Wuxian is completely exploiting his “I’m pregnant and myevery whim should be respected” status
Seeing how muchtrouble everyone is having, the emperor decides to take his empress everywhere with him, especially asWuxian’s stomach starts growing, even though he first tried to keep him in bed
Wuxian’sposition is always on his alpha’s lap, whether during normal meals or importantmeetings
At one point,Wuxian starts the topic of baby names
After Wangjiforbids the names like Baby, Something,Child and Little Emperor, herealizes he is the one who has to come up with a name
And he takes hisrole seriously
In one meeting,Wuxian takes his place in his husbands lap who traps him in a hug, placing hishands on his empresses growing belly
As everyone infront of the Emperor start saying their reports, his hands travel up and downhis omega’s stomach and he gently places his chin on Wuxian’s head, breathingin the sweet smell of his loved one (and he can’t help but wonder whether hesmells even sweeter now)
“What do youthink we should do, my Emperor?” One of the men asks
The answer hegets isn’t the one he was asking for, Wangji blurts out a name - a baby namethat he just came up with
“How does thatsound?” He straightens his posture, ignoring the shocked faces around him, onlylooking at his empress
“That soundsamazing!” Wuxian is smiling as wide as he possibly could. “Still think Baby Lan doesn’t sound bad either”, hepretends to pout
“Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan!” Wuxian threw his handsaround Wangji, pulling him into an embrace.
The Emperor halts the hug, making sure notto press on Wuxian’s stomach too hard. “What are you doing here?”
“I got bored waiting for you to finishwork, so I came to see you~”
“So you weren’t trying to escape again?”
Wuxian’s eyes widened. Busted. Behind him a huge crowd appeared, everyone from the maids, staffand physicians. “But I escaped to see you”,Wuxian nuzzled against his alpha, practically purring.
His prosecutors neared and Wuxian thoughthis fate was sealed, to be asked how he was doing every five minutes, thepillows around him re-fluffed for the thousandth time and unable to see his husband.
“All right”, Wangji seemed to have realizedWuxian’s troubles. He gently took his empress in his arms, picking him upcarefully. His actions made the entire prosecution party stop in their tracksand stand on the sides of the hallway, making way for the Emperor.
“I can walk, you know?” But he still threwhis arms around Wangji’s neck, actually enjoying this.
“…”
“And you’re carrying me back to our room?”Wuxian looked a bit down. “I’m glad you saved me from those vultures, but Idon’t want to go to bed again.”
“I’ll join you.”
“Well, that sounds much better”, Wuxian sings as he nestles closer to Wangji’s chest.
Reaching their room, Wangji places hisprecious cargo onto the bed, as gently as he could, pressing a soft kiss on topof his forehead. He joins him in bed just seconds later.
Moments pass in pleasant silence, as Wuxianplays with his partners hair, until he suddenly makes a surprised face.
Wangji instantly notices and is almostseated, ready to dash out of the room to get the physician. “What’s wrong?”
“He moved”, Wuxian’s voice was a mere mumbleand his eyes glanced back and forth from his stomach to his husband. “The baby,he moved”, he explained to Wangji who still hadn’t calmed down properly.
“He?”
“It’s a boy! I bet he’ll look like you. What, do you want a girl? What if it’s two of them?” Wuxian rambled, smilingwidely. He didn’t really care about the baby’s gender, he just like to imagine.“Do you want to feel it?”
Wangji looked at him a bit surprised, hishand hovering above the bump underneath Wuxian’s clothing. Wuxian took his handand guided it to the place he felt the movement. Wangji didn’t show any emotion, actually he didn’t move at all for a while after that, he seemed frozen in place.
The huge grin on Wuxian’s face was replacedby surprise as Wangji kissed him. His alpha’s lips pressed firmly against his, passionateand warm. Wangji continued to shower him with kisses. Everywhere, his cheeks, neckand down his collarbone.
In one swift movement, he undressed Wuxian, exposing his chest and stomach. Then his kisses could go lower, across hisloved ones chest, kissing him softly. The last kiss was on his stomach, wherehe held his hand a moment before, then he stopped and placed his ear againstit.
Wuxian giggled at his partner, knowing thatWangji isn’t the one to voice his happiness, but to show it instead. Looking atWangji’s head on his stomach, he felt so extremely happy and fulfilled. He couldn’tstop his hand from tangling itself in Wangji’s hair.
With his other hand he reached for Wangji’s,intertwining their fingers. A boy or a girl, alpha or omega, he knew that thiskid would be immensely loved.
MDZS Omegaverse AU Where Omega!WCZ Was Stood Up When He And Alpha!CSSR Were Supposed To Elope
Sorta ties in with this AU.
Wei Changze was four-months-pregnant with Wei Ying when Cangse-Sanren got cold feet and left him waiting in the forest where they were supposed to meet.
He returned to the Yunmeng Jiang with his head bowed and eyes red from crying, the mouth veil that hid his Glasgow smile back on his face after he’d been convinced to not wear it any longer.
Cangse called him beautiful.
She was a liar.
Upon his return, his master, Jiang Fengmian, and his wife, Madame Yu Ziyuan, looked at him with sympathy.
The birth of Wei Ying lit a fire in him, though.
He raised his son as a single mother and taught him his style of martial arts and cultivation (but mostly honed his martial prowess).
Wei Ying learned discipline and became the next protector of the Jiang clan, though he inherited his father’s free spirit.
(No matter how much Wei Changze denied it, he loved that about Cangse-Sanren.
(He looked forward to living a free life with her.)
When Wei Wuxian was fifteen-years-old, however, the infamous face from his mother’s past appeared, and she confused him for Wei Changze.
“A-Ze, is that you?”
ChengXian with Angst and ABO Dynamics
Basically...
Jiang Cheng and Wei Wuxian were lovers before an arranged marriage between JC and an OC broke them apart. Of course, this didn’t stop them from sneaking off together once in awhile, but one day, WWX discovered he was pregnant.
Believing JC deserved to know, he told him in private, but JC had to force himself to deny fathering the child. To admit fatherhood would be to admit being unfaithful to his principal spouse, and he couldn’t risk losing face. WWX, always the understanding man he was, just smiled and said, “Right. I must’ve gotten drunk one night and met someone.”
The unborn babe was then labeled a bastard of an unknown father.
The mother was subject to judgmental eyes wherever he went.
However, WWX wasn’t the type who wallowed in self-pity. He lived his life as he always had, even without anymore of Jiang Cheng’s secret displays of affection, and looked forward to meeting his child.
He never did. Not really.
Wei Wuxian’s labor was a hard one, and it took its toll on his body. The midwife who helped him deliver told him to rest, and then he could hold his baby once he regained his strength.
JC was allowed in the room sometime after, and he sat beside WWX, holding his hand and asking him how he felt. The midwife had left to attend to other matters, leaving the newborn babe with a wetnurse.
WWX, “J-Jiang Cheng, my baby. I want...to hold them.”
JC, sighing, “Rest for now, Wei Ying. They’ll be here when you wake up. You can hold them all you want after you rest.”
WWX’s eyes became wet with tears, he looked as though he were desperate, but he insisted no more, like he lost the energy in a flash. Instead he said, “A-Cheng...the room’s getting...dark.”
“?!” JC watched WWX close his eyes, and he’d not open them again. He felt the hand in his go slack.
“Wei Ying?
“Wei Ying?!
“Wei Ying!”
He called his name over and over, screaming so loud that he scared everyone within the area.
It didn’t matter who arrived to check on them first. WWX was dead.
Sometime after, Jiang Cheng got to hold the child he denied. He said to himself, fighting back tears, “Wei Ying never even got to hold you, and yet here I am, having that privilege instead of him. I didn’t even accept responsibility for you.”
Unfortunately, no matter how much he wanted to do right by his newborn child and the late WWX, he couldn’t accept fatherhood. His face was too important, and the wrath of the Jiang clan would be upon the helpless babe.
In an omegaverse where NMJ becomes smitten with WWX after hearing about how he dealt with WC, NMJ makes a bet during the discussion conference at Phoenix Mtn.
NMJ, “Even if your pretty little flute plays the most alluring melody, you still won’t be able to lure enough [prey] over to best me.
WWX, “Oh? You want to put your money where your mouth is, big guy?”
NMJ, smirking, “Once I win, I’ll be putting my mouth on yours~”
WWX, blushing, “W-well, I guess I’ll have to work hard then, won’t I?”
What he doesn’t say is that he has to work hard to preserve his first kiss. 💖
Spoiler Alert: NMJ wins.
OFC, after MingXian’s together, I imagine NMJ laying on WWX’s lap and asking WWX to tell him how he terrorized the Wen dogs again. 😉
Stillborn
WangXian ABO AU Where WWX Delved Into Necromancy Because Of A Stillbirth
This was the first ever AU I conceptualized before really diving into GDC, which means I didn’t know much other than who was who, what they looked like, and what the setup was; and of course it’s got ABO dynamics. When don’t my AU’s have ABO dynamics? My line of thought was, Huh. What if WWX and LWJ were together before shit hit the fan, and they almost had a child together, but that child died in the womb? ...What a great reason for WWX to delve into demonic cultivation!
WWX blames himself for not being strong enough to birth a healthy child and fears that LWJ will leave him.
LWJ blames himself for not being a good enough partner, for not taking better care of WWX during his pregnancy, and fears that WWX will leave him.
Both believe they themselves are at fault and that the other blames them.
LWJ’s distance and silence doesn’t help WWX’s mental state, and so he dives into necromancy in an attempt to resurrect their dead baby, hoping that it’ll keep LWJ by his side.
...Long story short, it goes about as well as you’d expect.
“Lan...Lan Zhan, why are you so angry? I’ve brought our child back to us! Aren’t you happy? Why are you rejecting me?
“...I didn’t do good enough, did I?
“I’m not good enough!”
Some afterthoughts:
Let’s assume WWX’s lost his golden core by the time he’s become pregnant.
WangXian got together sometime before the Sunshot Campaign.
Initially, WWX hadn’t delved into demonic cultivation until after his stillbirth, but let’s change that and say WWX had gotten into it for the sake of getting revenge on the Wens as he does in the canonverse, but perhaps LWJ convinces him to stop practicing until, y’know, WWX’s downward spiral.
When I think of The Dragon Prince in an omegaverse, the human population is 96.4% betas. Other dynamics are more present in Xadian folk; so, when a human presents as an alpha or an omega, people assume there’s elven blood in them. This isn’t necessarily true, obviously, but the Human Kingdoms are ignorant and therefore discriminatory toward non-betas. The discrimination will actually extend to the individual’s family b/c idiots will claim that somewhere in their line, somebody bedded an elf.
If Callum is an omega, then he’s had to live his life as a beta, and thank goodness betas of any race cannot smell as well as alphas and omegas; so, some cologne here, some oils there, and the scent of a non-beta can be well-hidden. His heats would’ve been harder to sweep under the rug, esp. w/ Viren slithering around, but he doesn’t have to worry about that. Fourteen is two years away from a typical first heat, and as things have progressed, he might not need to hide away, not if Ezran has anything to say about it.
Rayla is an alpha, and I take no criticism. Callum being an omega is just icing on the proverbial cake of their relationship. The problem lies with the Moonshadow elves, particularly Runaan. Ethari is a tolerant man and will eventually come to terms with the couple. Runaan is a mule, and he’ll be the world’s worst in-law ‘til something or other changes his mind. That could be a life-changing field trip w/ Callum, a heartbreaking confrontation w/ Rayla, who knows.
As a closer, I’ll say Aaravos is an omega.
Thank you; have a nice day.
Anyone who’s perused my blog will know that I have very simple tastes, and that’s pretty gorgeous men and ABO dynamics.
Now, I know next to nothing about Onmyoji, but I know a little something about the Douji duo, and there’s no way I can just let them be; so, imagine with me an omega!Ibaraki as the de facto Queen of the Demons.
He and alpha!Shuten aren’t married, but since they’re often seen in each other’s company, and the ancient world can’t imagine an alpha-omega pair that spends that much time together and aren’t also married, everyone just kinda assumes they are. Shuten will protest when he’s asked, esp. when he’s flirting with other pretty things, but no one really believes him. His actions don’t match his words. (Some will whisper words of pity for Ibaraki when the Demon King has his back turned.) Ibaraki himself insists he’s simply his righthand man and best friend, but there’s a fine—and I mean really fine—line between queen and righthand in his case.
A child between ShuIba is probably raised solely by their mother, while their father is off gallivanting and terrorizing the country of Japan. If he does bother to show his face, Shuten acts more like a friend of the family—happy to play around with them but not too keen on doing the hard stuff. “That’s an omega’s job,” he says, and Ibaraki isn’t going to correct him. If anything, he probably believes that, too, and imagines his unofficial husband has better things to do. (A progressive Ibaraki might chalk it up to Shuten’s declining dignity and increased drunken stupors post-resurrection; he doesn’t know what he’s saying.)
Mt. Oe is in the de facto queen’s care following Shuten’s return to the living and subsequent neglect of the land. When he’s not chasing down his drunken, lecherous friend, he’s listening to the complaints and worries of the local spirits and resolving pressing matters. Honestly, Shuten probably didn’t have a knack for administrative work to begin with and just ran everything over with his brute strength, leaving Ibaraki to handle things with more finesse; so, it’s not like he hasn’t done this song and dance a thousand times before. He just wishes Shuten were half the king he used to be to make the maintenance worth it.

Set is the only omega among his royal siblings and also a member of the caste most disrespected in the ancient world. His fellows are afforded no rights, are often slaves, and are never the main consorts of noblemen. This combined with his status as a war god paints a very ugly picture.
When the siblings' lord great-grandfather assigned Nephthys (B) to be Set's wife, not only did his brazen nature disgust her but also their union would be fruitless. Such a slight against her was protested by herself and the court, but their lord great-grandfather was too doting on all his great-grandchildren and couldn't bear to leave Set out. Nephthys just had to make the sacrifice.
Truthfully, Set couldn't've cared less. He'd long quashed any maternal instincts he might've had whilst trying to earn their lord father's acknowledgment. Even if Nephthys herself had been able to bear them a child, he severely doubted he'd make a good parental figure in general. In his second chance at life, he didn't expect this aspect to change.
Horus (A), his nephew, surprised him when he refused to kill him after he proved himself as the rightful king. Set looked to Isis (B) in the audience, but she seemed as confused by her son as he was.
The new king then declared before everyone in the throne room that the Usurper would not face the death penalty. Instead, a new title was foisted on him—Queen of Egypt.
What was this little brat thinking?!
All's Fair in Love & War

When I read about a Kazuha w virtually omnipresent eyes and ears, presumably thru his vision, I brimmed with inspiration.
.
.
Imagine that Kazuha (O) became known by the Shogunate for this amazing feat, and as this takes place years before the damning decrees, the Tenryou Commission didn't seek to confiscate his vision. Instead, they used him for their own ends in law enforcement and later the search for visions.
The Kaedehara clan was more than eager to give up their only child for the opportunity to reenter high society. The icing on the cake: "Baal" was so generous enough to grant a marriage between her own brother, Kunikuzushi, and Kazuha. (Yes, Scaramouche [A] is Ei's little brother.) This tightly secured the old samurai clan's place among the nobility.
Though they started out at odds thanks to Scara's abrasive personality, ScaraKazu built a love you'd probably only see in one of Yae's light novels.
The evidence: When the Raiden Shogun intended to punish her brother for some offense or failure, Kazuha didn't even blink before shielding his partner. Her lightning struck him square in the face, rendering him completely blind, hard-of-hearing, and without a good sense of smell. The top half of his face was branded with scars lightning strikes.
When she had no sympathy for his ruination at her hands, calling it a punishment for them both, Kunikuzushi vowed to revenge his partner and cast away his name in favor of the title, Scaramouche. He cared for Kazuha until he could adjust without three of his five senses and left without a goodbye to join the Fatui.
Fortunately, Kazuha didn't lose his unique ability in the incident. Were he useless to the Tenryou Commission, especially in their hunt for visions, "Baal" would've done away with him and sentenced him to death for association with a traitor. In the privacy of their home within the palace, he prayed for Kunikuzushi's safety and eventual return. Unbeknownst to him, his alpha had indeed planned to come back.
At the height of the Vision Hunt, the Sangonomiya Resistance sent Tomo (A), a stranger to Kazuha, to carry out an assassination attempt on the "Shogun's Eyes" to cripple the Shogunate's efficiency.
Tomo wasn't ninja, but the Resistance couldn't rely on anyone else at the time. Thus, he infiltrated his target's residence and prepared to strike Kazuha down as he sat peacefully on his porch. He noticed, however, that his target couldn't see, implied by the silk embroidered blindfold around his face.
The next thing he discovered was that the other man couldn't hear nor smell well. There was no reaction to any close proximity or when he knocked over a vase...which made his day.
He hated Shogunate dogs, but this was just unfair. Tomo had no desire to cut down someone so highly disadvantaged. (Even when he was finally caught, the tremendous fight Kaedehara put up didn't sway him differently.) Instead, he opted to kidnap him for the Resistance's use. He wasn't dead like they wanted him to be, but he wasn't at the Shogun's disposal either. Still a win, right?
Regardless, General Gorou was understandably upset with him for disobeying orders in the name of mercy. Yet, at the same time, he acknowledged the ethical dilemma Tomo was in. (He wasn't so sure he'd've made a different decision himself.) Punishment had to be dealt, though; so, the responsibility for the surprise prisoner was foisted onto Tomo. The bruises and cuts made by someone proficient with a blade made it apparent that Kazuha couldn't be left unsupervised.
Tomo: Why don't we just lock him up somewhere?!
Gorou: You're the one who thinks we can pry information out of him; so, why don't you make friends w him and learn everything you can?
Neither parties involved were happy with this arrangement, least of all Kazuha.
He needed to return home in case Kunikuzushi came back to him and thought he'd been left when Kazu wasn't there. He said as much to Tomo after he proved himself trustworthy, and the fondness only grew when he made a genuine offer to help find the omega's mate if he cooperated w the Resistance. Then started the downward spiral toward a romance.
From the shadows, Scaramouche seethed when these rebels dared to put their hands on his Kazuha, and his blood boiled as this "Tomo" began seducing him. Guilt for not telling him he'd been in Inazuma for a year already fought equally hard for room in his heart, but there was time for that later. The mission came first, and once it was finished, he'd go to Kazuha and make up for lost time. Tomo would also pay for his transgressions. A nobody trying to lure his partner from his marriage bed would not be overlooked.

Ayato (A) looks drastically different when you compare his hobo self to his noble one. It's like night and day; so, forgive everyone who didn't connect the two. Ayaka (O) and Thoma (O) were just so happy to have their loved one back. The loss of his Vision was regrettable, tho. The Kamisato elders, on the other hand, are just relieved that they don't have to keep pretending the Yashiro Commissioner was severely ill and not missing for x-amount of yrs.
With only one set of memories now, Ayato doesn't remember Kazuha (O) or the love they'd shared. There's just one love in his life, and that's Thoma, his childhood sweetheart whom he promised to marry despite the elders' vehement protests. Thus, there're no issues between anyone important when they tie the knot after the Sakoku and Vision Hunt Decrees are abolished, though Kazuha's unable to attend the ceremony for Thoma's sake. He's out on an expedition with the Traveler. The End—this chapter comes to a close.
X-amount of yrs later, and two things kickstart a downward spiral into discord: 1) Ayato regains his other set of memories as "Tomo," and he spurs himself into looking for Kazuha; and 2) Thomato are childless; thus, the Kamisato clan lacks an heir, which the elders use to further criticize the couple's marriage.
When he reveals himself as both Ayato and Tomo, everyone who knows him as either is startled, and they all have this look on their faces that says they know something he doesn't. He, of course, asks what's wrong, and his mate and sister tell him that Kazuha'd been pregnant and has a son called Yura (悠良). He smiles, albeit sadly, at the news but is glad Tomo's lover was living well. "I see," he says. "So, who's the lucky alpha?" Thoma and Ayaka just exchange looks, like they can't believe he can't connect the dots.
Ayaka opens her mouth first, "Brother, Kazuha-san's not been with anyone since, well, you." She gestures to him.
"Just me?"
"Just you."
"Then, that means—" They can see the gears in his head turning. "Princess, he- I- WE HAVE A SON!" Everyone and Ei in her Plane of Euthymia could hear him.
"Yeah," says Thoma, "now we don't have to make any formal announcement or anything; you just screamed it to the whole of Inazuma!" He rubs his ears in discomfort and shoots a pointed look at his mate, who shrinks under his gaze.
"Sorry, sorry, but this's exciting news, isn't it?" Ayato grins his signature goofy grin while blushing.
"Mmhm." Cut him some slack; it's not everyday that your alpha finds out he has a love child w/ one of your own friends and is more than happy about it. (The average married person would probably feel the same.) Try as he might like the kind person he is, though, Ayato fails to put his mind at ease in terms of their marriage's stability, which is further disturbed by the actions of the elders following this incident. How they found out about their clan head's love child is anyone's guess, but most blame the man himself and his big mouth.
One morning, they summon Ayato to a meeting and discuss the future of the Kamisato household. Not unusual since that's what they've been pestering Thomato about since the day they got married, but when they bring up "this Yura boy they've been hearing about," it's like a sudden slap to the face. "His mother is the last living Kaedehara, is he not?" one elder asks.
"There're rumors that Yura-kun looks much like Young Master," says another. Don't tell Thoma, but Ayato really likes the sound of that.
The old ppl go back and forth w/ their comments that range from praises about his looks to compliments about his temperament, and that's all fine and dandy. Ayato wants his family to like his son with Kazuha, but he knows they're leading up to one thing: the Kamisato heir. They're not going to speak ill of his bastard or his bastard's mother b/c they want him to bring Yura into the clan.
They want him to legitimize him. If he makes Kazuha a second consort while he's at it, why not? The elders' only concern is that the son who inherits his title is wholly Inazuman and of purely noble blood. (Forget the fact that the Kaedehara clan is long gone.) A bastard who has all those traits is considered far more suitable than a legitimate child that's half-Mondstadtian and whose mother's a servant. What's more, if the human fossils get their way, Kazuha is eligible to replace Thoma as Lord Consort of the Kamisato Clan. It's the perfect way to add insult to injury.
The result of the meeting has a correspondence delivered to Kazuha, asking for his presence at the Kamisato Estate, signed by Ayaka. Ayato's name would imply official business awaits him, and while there are important things to be discussed, they want everything to sound as friendly as possible. Her brother might find himself knocked out on the floor if he steps on Kazuha's toes while he's already tense. Believe her, she's seen the absolute beast her fellow omega becomes when someone acts against his son, and by extension, himself. She likes her brother alive, thank you.
I think y'all can guess what the whole story is by now. It's about a custody battle w/ politics, which I'm really bad at, and a love triangle feat. Thomatozuha. Who's the winner, who's the loser? Are they all winners, all losers? Idk. I didn't think that far.
✌ Peace.
.
Afterthoughts:
I've realized that Yura doesn't sound as nice w/ Kamisato as it does w/ Kaedehara; so, a good alternative, I think, is Hajime (肇).
I feel like a silly person b/c I’ve recently discovered that AyaThoma does not, in fact, refer to Ayaka x Thoma; it’s the alternative name for Thomato that denotes bottom!Thoma.
ScaraKazu + puppet!Kazuha, A/B/O
Kazuha (O) was made as a companion for Kunikuzushi (A)—Yae Miko's idea. She said, "The world's easier to live in if you're suffering together," and Ei eventually gave in. Before discarding her first model project, she created another, and if he looked a little like the Kitsune Saiguu, it was a coincidence. Then, she abandoned the puppets together in the outer world.
ScaraKazu weren't designed to be lovers from the get-go, but they were compatible, and neither Ei nor Yae were surprised to learn they married. In equal measure, they weren't disturbed when the couple accepted an invite to join the Fatui. Kunikuzushi especially flourished in their ranks, eventually rising as No. 6 of the Fatui Harbingers: Scaramouche. Kazuha, on the other hand, didn't earn a title like that.
He didn't become one of the Eleven, but he was Scaramouche's right hand. No one sneezed at him. To be the cantankerous Balladeer's wife—a very well-loved wife—he had to be some kind of formidable. There was also his mastery over anemo to worry about. (A windstorm in a soft shell.) He wasn't so strongly disliked as Scaramouche was, tho, and that's why Kazuha handled most of the diplomatic affairs. Negotiations that were supposed to go smoothly tended to go smoothly when he represented the Fatui.
Scara was tactful when he wanted to be—e.g. when he first met the Traveler—but he almost never wanted to be. Genuine thoughtfulness was reserved for his wife and his wife alone b/c he was actually worth a damn. They were also the same. In his own words, "Neither mortal nor god, nor fate itself, is qualified to be my judge." Ofc the sentiment extended to Kazuha. They only had each other, and it'd remain that way 'til the end of time.
ABO AU where ghost!Tomo watches Kazuha raise their pup, become a grandmom to their pup’s pups, and so on. He shrinks to an even smaller size and goes senile, but he’s surrounded by a large family. When Kazuha’s time’s up, he’s resting in his favorite rocking chair, and milky eyes look directly at Tomo for the first time in ages. Then, the little widow holds out his wrinkled hand.
“Finally here to sweep me off my feet and fly me to Eternity?”
Tomo smiles and bows like a gent.
"Sorry for the wait, Princess."
I am a simple-minded fool with a single brain cell, and as soon as I laid eyes on Vanitas, my immediate thoughts were, That man is very beautiful and wife material; thus, he is an omega.
Thank you for reading my nonsense.
VaniJeanne omegaverse where Jeanne (A) takes Vanitas (O) on another date, but this time, her intent's to prove herself as a worthy mate. She convinces Noé to wrastle him into an ensemble more typical for omegas—that's a gown—and has a suit for herself chosen by Domi.
This is to further highlight her stance as a courting alpha. Her earnest throws her target for a loop, and he finds himself helpless against her. Wearing exquisite (but unfamiliar) clothes and being pampered by another just makes him abjectly flustered.
Jeanne, as an alpha: If my love for Vanitas keeps growing, and we see each other when I'm like this, the moment our eyes meet, I'm afraid I may push him down and make him bear our children! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
It's been 93yrs since I even glanced at Donten, but I recently saw the animated Gaiden chapters, and as those credit images rolled by, one of my major thoughts was,
Well, time to imagine it's an omegaverse: Baby Kumo was borne by o!Tenka, and a!Kiiko's holdin' the baby so he can rest for, like, an hour.
Not that surprising since that's my MO in these kinds of situations, but it's also my MO to share these thoughts; so, here they are.
