Ayato (A) looks drastically different when you compare his hobo self to his noble one. It's like night and day; so, forgive everyone who didn't connect the two. Ayaka (O) and Thoma (O) were just so happy to have their loved one back. The loss of his Vision was regrettable, tho. The Kamisato elders, on the other hand, are just relieved that they don't have to keep pretending the Yashiro Commissioner was severely ill and not missing for x-amount of yrs.

With only one set of memories now, Ayato doesn't remember Kazuha (O) or the love they'd shared. There's just one love in his life, and that's Thoma, his childhood sweetheart whom he promised to marry despite the elders' vehement protests. Thus, there're no issues between anyone important when they tie the knot after the Sakoku and Vision Hunt Decrees are abolished, though Kazuha's unable to attend the ceremony for Thoma's sake. He's out on an expedition with the Traveler. The End—this chapter comes to a close.

X-amount of yrs later, and two things kickstart a downward spiral into discord: 1) Ayato regains his other set of memories as "Tomo," and he spurs himself into looking for Kazuha; and 2) Thomato are childless; thus, the Kamisato clan lacks an heir, which the elders use to further criticize the couple's marriage.

When he reveals himself as both Ayato and Tomo, everyone who knows him as either is startled, and they all have this look on their faces that says they know something he doesn't. He, of course, asks what's wrong, and his mate and sister tell him that Kazuha'd been pregnant and has a son called Yura (悠良). He smiles, albeit sadly, at the news but is glad Tomo's lover was living well. "I see," he says. "So, who's the lucky alpha?" Thoma and Ayaka just exchange looks, like they can't believe he can't connect the dots.

Ayaka opens her mouth first, "Brother, Kazuha-san's not been with anyone since, well, you." She gestures to him.

"Just me?"

"Just you."

"Then, that means—" They can see the gears in his head turning. "Princess, he- I- WE HAVE A SON!" Everyone and Ei in her Plane of Euthymia could hear him.

"Yeah," says Thoma, "now we don't have to make any formal announcement or anything; you just screamed it to the whole of Inazuma!" He rubs his ears in discomfort and shoots a pointed look at his mate, who shrinks under his gaze.

"Sorry, sorry, but this's exciting news, isn't it?" Ayato grins his signature goofy grin while blushing.

"Mmhm." Cut him some slack; it's not everyday that your alpha finds out he has a love child w/ one of your own friends and is more than happy about it. (The average married person would probably feel the same.) Try as he might like the kind person he is, though, Ayato fails to put his mind at ease in terms of their marriage's stability, which is further disturbed by the actions of the elders following this incident. How they found out about their clan head's love child is anyone's guess, but most blame the man himself and his big mouth.

One morning, they summon Ayato to a meeting and discuss the future of the Kamisato household. Not unusual since that's what they've been pestering Thomato about since the day they got married, but when they bring up "this Yura boy they've been hearing about," it's like a sudden slap to the face. "His mother is the last living Kaedehara, is he not?" one elder asks.

"There're rumors that Yura-kun looks much like Young Master," says another. Don't tell Thoma, but Ayato really likes the sound of that.

The old ppl go back and forth w/ their comments that range from praises about his looks to compliments about his temperament, and that's all fine and dandy. Ayato wants his family to like his son with Kazuha, but he knows they're leading up to one thing: the Kamisato heir. They're not going to speak ill of his bastard or his bastard's mother b/c they want him to bring Yura into the clan.

They want him to legitimize him. If he makes Kazuha a second consort while he's at it, why not? The elders' only concern is that the son who inherits his title is wholly Inazuman and of purely noble blood. (Forget the fact that the Kaedehara clan is long gone.) A bastard who has all those traits is considered far more suitable than a legitimate child that's half-Mondstadtian and whose mother's a servant. What's more, if the human fossils get their way, Kazuha is eligible to replace Thoma as Lord Consort of the Kamisato Clan. It's the perfect way to add insult to injury.

The result of the meeting has a correspondence delivered to Kazuha, asking for his presence at the Kamisato Estate, signed by Ayaka. Ayato's name would imply official business awaits him, and while there are important things to be discussed, they want everything to sound as friendly as possible. Her brother might find himself knocked out on the floor if he steps on Kazuha's toes while he's already tense. Believe her, she's seen the absolute beast her fellow omega becomes when someone acts against his son, and by extension, himself. She likes her brother alive, thank you.

I think y'all can guess what the whole story is by now. It's about a custody battle w/ politics, which I'm really bad at, and a love triangle feat. Thomatozuha. Who's the winner, who's the loser? Are they all winners, all losers? Idk. I didn't think that far.

Afterthoughts:

I've realized that Yura doesn't sound as nice w/ Kamisato as it does w/ Kaedehara; so, a good alternative, I think, is Hajime (肇).

I feel like a silly person b/c I’ve recently discovered that AyaThoma does not, in fact, refer to Ayaka x Thoma; it’s the alternative name for Thomato that denotes bottom!Thoma.

Years of An Empty Heart (Thomato angst)

 Sumarry: Ayato got married to a women from another clan since he knew he had to do it. It’s for the better of Inazuma and his clan and therefore even if he doesn’t have a liking to this women, he still has to marry her. And this left Thoma in devastation, after years of them having all of these bitter sweet memories, he is willing to do this. But he knew he had to let go. It’s for the Kamisato clan and Inazuma, this will be for the better, right?

(A/N: this fanfic will have no happy ending. And cringey writing) ______________ It has been a pain for Thoma to see his beloved lover, or former lover to be with a women he doesn’t even love. But he eventually needs to let it go. Nothing last forever in this world, including a relationship. A perfect relationship where the two of them will share every sweet moment they can, even when Ayato was at it’s bussiest, he wants to spend time with him. Everyday it felt like the winds has let them to a bright future. Everyday it felt like time moves slower. Both of them wants to grow old, and sit under a beautiful tree while talking about they’re younger days is the day that they are very fond to wait.

But one day will change everything when the Kamisato Clan was having multiple dificulties, Ayato was overworked, Thoma and Ayaka started to worry about him. What if he got so stressed out that he may pass out and maybe fell sick? The possibilities are endless! And so the idea of marriage between another clan has come and we all know where this is heading.

On the day of wedding, Thoma was Ayato’s best man and he witness the saying’s of: ‘I do’ and kissed. He wants to get out of this wedding. It’s a pain. He wishes he can go back to Mondstadt but he has duties here as the maid of the estate so it’s probably not posibble for him to go back to Mondstadt. “Haha, i told you pink may suit your contrast!” Thoma said as he admired the pink flower he put on beside his lover’s ear, “Well, i guess you’re right, love.” He looked at the flower that Thoma took off from the bushes. STOP! STOP THINKING ABOUT THESE MEMORIES! THEY’RE JUST IN MY HEAD AND AYATO IS DOING THIS FOR THE BEST! He thought to himself as he holds his tears but he can’t. So he just faked being happy and sad at the same time.

Ayaka can sense his pain. She wanted to tell him that everything is alright and that Ayato still fully loves him through thick and thin. But whatever comfort she gave to him, it seems like it wasn’t even enough to let go the pain that has impacted both of them. The day where they grow old together isn’t even going to happen anymore, now it’s going to be days of sorrow and loneliness. If he were to be in his shoes then he would drop everything in order to be happy. Where nothing will ruin they’re wholesome relationship.

Years has gone by and Thoma felt like he was incomplete. A part was broken and it was hard to fix. Sigh, if only he haven’t met him in the first place, but what will happen if he never met him? He is pretty sure everyday in Mondstadt will be the same. Of course, Ayato and him interacts everyday but it wasn’t enough. He wants to be with him again! Heck, even get married that’s for sure! And today he is going grocery shopping, great, maybe he can go to the place he used to have alone time with Ayato. Just for a minute. Maybe that will lighten up a burden.

He went to Tsukimono Grocery (or something like that) and bought a couple of things until a question from the owner, “So, Thoma,” Oh boy here we go, “How do you feel after all of these years of Ayato marrying another women?” She asked just like that as if it was a sad topic for him, “Ah, that’s a pecilluar question! And i guess n-normal? Yeah i guess that’s the right word for it!” He answered as his heart felt like it was sunken down more. He took his groceries and said thank you to the owner and went to the sea shore, it was soothing and peaceful, he felt like Ayato is right next to him, admiring the sea.

“Isn’t it lovely, dear?” He asked as if his former lover is there, “Teyvat is still out there. Maybe one day we can explore it...and be..happy..” He broke down to tears. Thoma and Ayato, after years of feeling empty, it has come to conclusion that they will never be a pair of 2 men having the happy ending they have dreamed of.

Another few years have passed. Thoma had been lifted into heaven and is now burried under a yumemiru tree near the sea. Ayato visits his grave everyday in honor of his deceased lover. He has a dendrobium in his hands and laid it on top of his grave, “Oh my dear lover, i may have ended the relaionship for the better but one day we will reunite in the afterlife and live happily as we dreamed of.” He said as he looked into the wide sea, knowing that his lover is still there with a smile on his face.

Yes, they do live in my head rent-free.

even though it feels illegal to ship barely anything sometimes in Genshin (usually due to characters’ ages that may not match their appearance sometimes) I do have a few!

❄️Kaebedo!🏔

I was sceptical at first cause I had a different Kaeya ship but my gf spent half of our relationship teaching me how to multiship NDNDN and she managed to teach me. So yeah I think kaebedo is adorable and the chemistry might be about right here! Kaeya is into him, just how he says that in the voice lines. They have Klee too, while Albedo treats her like a younger sister and Kaeya acts like her babysitter (sort of) - they definitely hang out together. Not to mention their curious Khaenri’ah roots!!!

Naw man these are just. Quality. It’s a rare ship cause Venti usually ends up with Xiao and it’s way more popular; zhongven is a curious ship. First of all, it’s awesome they both have Visions that act funny with other elements - and can’t work with each other! I think it makes curious chemistry. Their characters don’t match either shdhshw Venti is a lil shit (Archon of Freedom) while Zhongli is this tall serious dude (Archon of Contracts). Second, they’re two remaining archons that fought in Archon War if I remember correctly and I believe they would have an interesting history ^^

DO I HAVE TO EXPLAIN THIS ONE I love these two sm. Thoma may be the housekeeper of Kamisato Estate but it’s so sweet Ayaka and Ayato treat him like part of their family 🥹 I love how thankful Ayato is, and how much he appreciates Thoma’s work around! He also claims that in his position he can’t really trust too many people but Thoma is one of them. And on the other side, Thoma is happy to look out for Ayato when he’s at home cause he feels like thats all he can do. They make me feel all fuzzy 🥹🥹

It’s sort of a side ship, not much of any OTP, I think they’re neat! And the opposite Visions make it quite spicy too - overall 8/10!

🌱AlHaitham x Kaveh 🌱

I can’t wait until they’re out as playable characters. 🧍🏽 Their little lore sounds pretty funny, considering AlHaitham is allowing Kaveh to stay over and they both freak out at each other; it leads to Kaveh literally bitching about him everywhere in Sumeru which if you ask me, it’s just straight hilarious. I’m not sure how I feel about two same Dendro visions in a ship cause for most of the time I shipped like- one vision with something different, you get what I mean. We will see! Can’t wait till they’re here
