With Brad asleep, Chris thought to wonder down the Appalachian Trail.
Caving is not my favorite form of an adventure because of the small spaces and spiders, but it offers some pretty cool photos.

The camping site was abundant in fungi. The land was delivering some pretty cool surprises this weekend. Foggy summer days plus mushroom abundance made me so happy.
At some point before we got to the site someone left this log. Propped it up on a stump with some rocks and it seemed like a good enough makeshift target to me. š¹
Cooking has always been one of my favorite things to do, and a campfire really enhances the whole experience.

Beautiful Eastern Black Swallowtail I hung out with in Virginia. I canāt wait to have more of these around once my garden caterpillars pupate.
