You ever realize that hiccup from how to train your dragon as to have some insane dad lore. Like picture him in the great hall with his kids and Astrid shows up to have a blast from the past with his old sword of fire and he just real quick does his little spin moves and as nonchalantly as lore dads do states I made this with my friends in old berk having gone through countless prototypes I got this. And his kids just look at him and ask when did you make it? And he reply’s with a loving look to Astrid and says when we were on the edge with your uncles and aunts. As kids do they ask when was that? And hiccup still not realizing that in fact there father was dropping some major dad lore. So he continued reply with when we needed to explore more of the archipelago as a deranged Viking that threatened myself and berk. For the second time. Now his kids are just in utter shock as they realize they need to spend more time paying attention when grandpa gobber tells em story’s.

Having a buff tall girlfriend who is hyper aware of your mortality has its pros and cons

Actually got way too invested in this drawing. Not entirely sure if some of these colourations are genetically possible in cats but who cares. Look at them!!!!

Sometimes I kind of forget that I can use references for poses (mainly cuz I usually don’t draw anything serious enough to even render it lmao) but I’m glad I did render this cuz girl is lethal.
(And I did not forget her shoulder pads I just wanted her to be showing off her buff shoulders (deltoid appreciation))
To high hiccup: How much do you love astrid?

Side note: I know Hiccups supposed to have a beard in this time frame, but I didn’t feel like drawing one on him. (And ruin that jawline line-art??? Hell no)! So let’s just pretend he decided to shave, I’m very sure he’s capable of doing that. Also Astrid’s pregnant… um, don’t ask me why I did that it just felt right okie?
I just feel it in my bones that they would have another kid, and really… why wouldn’t they?! 😏
I might put more sketchies of them on here in the future, so stay tuned if you care.
