It has been really fun to work on the @destiel-partner-project this year with my lovely friend @exmintha, especially because I finally got the chance to properly write about Demon Bela! Anyway, the fic is written and we're uploading chapters once a week, so if you want to read the first two on AO3 you can do so here!!
Summary:
On a hunt gone wrong, Dean finds himself possessed by an old enemy of the Winchesters. Bela is out for revenge, and she is hell bent on ruining Dean's life through any means possible.
If that means breaking the angel's heart, then, well...
Part 4: I was gifted the new Supernatural Tarot Cards and they are gorgeous! The artwork is from Matthew Skiff and he did such a great job. These cards are from the Pentagram Section.
starting the theory that the writers intended for bela to be the cameo in 15x13 instead of ruby but since they couldn’t afford lauren cohan (get that walking dead money, girl) they changed it up since gen was available and at least her and her bestie danneel could do a scene together
- anael and bela working together over finding a dangerous but powerful magical item makes way more sense
- the trip to hell is such a dull scene because rowena isn’t there (literally why have a s15 hell scene if rowena isn’t there) but it would’ve been the perfect time to run into demon!bela and get the information, especially in a season full of other cameos
- while I do love the idea that ruby straight-up lied when she said she never met an angel before (so true gaslight gatekeep girlboss), her not knowing them does give more weight to her fear of them in season 4 and her interactions with uriel & anna so it was sad to see that retconned
- ruby’s season 15 outfits both in the flashback and in the Empty are so OOC they make me want to scream (look how they massacred my girl) but would be perfect for bela
I want to give aprecciation to a very special girl that we would all be rooting for if she was a man...
Lets remeber that her parent abused her and she was just a kid when she made a deal, she is just broken and lonely and looking out for herself...lets not forget her.
