First ever flash animation. It's really just a test, because I am a total noob with this program.
Break A Leg, But Not The Strike Line
A suggestion for fans and viewers. Another way to support the WGA & SAG-AFTRA strike (and really, other guilds that surround the arts) is to check out your local art scene wherever you live if you haven't yet done so. A lot of talent from coast to coast in towns and cities small and large have theater productions of all types, independent productions (including cinema), children's theater, dance, and so on.
It is where the spark may be turned into a flame! From behind the scenes with sets, costumes, the list goes on and on. Watch, volunteer, have a blast, art is for you!
*I should add that I know stage production is different, but I'm going to plug all of it because writers/actors/costumers/ etc all get started someway, somehow, somewhere, and why not celebrate human creativity wherever and whoever you are?!
I dedicate this award for my fellow Mexicans who live in Mexico. I pray we can find and build a government we deserve and I hope Mexican immigrants in this country can be treated with the same dignity as the ones who came before and built this immigrant nation.

Prior to this, Sean Penn, announcing the director’s win for Birdman, quipped “who gave this guy a green card?”

MONSTER AU
drew these a couple months ago
OK, I promised myself I wouldn't do this but I just couldn't resist. So here's the current meme craze, adjusted for TWC. 😂
And the follow up...
A while ago i read Upgrade (loved it) and idly wondered if there was any movie who could get the same treatment and then it hit me and totaled my brain: Birdman AU. Casting ideas and rambles under the cut, abundant movie spoilers
MC: Alpha Dave Strider considered bro because the voice would fit like a glove cal but i imagine him too antisocial to be a famous actor. would change the wife with beta Roxy and rose as daughter.
The voice: BRO (from the past) or cal
Daughter: Dirk (hard pick between him Rose and Roxy. sadly i cant put vriska in 2 roles) it's going to be interesting to have a dirk who hates dave. even in works where he does he usually still wants him or love-hates. the runny mascara remains.
Wife: Jade guess wich fic gave me this idea
Assistant: Karkat so we can have weird sweaty gay tension with director dave without having actual davekat.
Raven Actress: Vriska I needed a black haired bitch. picked her to make the pregnacy scare as terrifying as possible. also DaveVris! horrendous! 10/10!
Blonde Actress: Roxy VrisRoxy you heard it here first
Young actor: Jake def jake if i put dirk as daughter to have him say no to dirk's avances lmao. also Jake struggling with "act & sincerity fake irl/real self on stage " fits him.
Critic: Alpha Rose Lalonde i think she even driks martinis. beta roxy would give him a good review
Costumist: a maryam banal i know i know. probably porrim
bad actor who gets hit by a light: John
alcohol seller: Sollux because i like him and want him in at the cost of being the bus driver
the 3? journalists at the start: Rose is the creepy tabloid one, 2 free spots for now
Alpha dave haunted by BRO, by toxic masculinity, by the need to be respected. Terrified of being nothing if he doesnt have fame. So terrified he destrys his family not realizing maybe being loved by them would fix him or is what he really wants/needs. A man who used to have sort of morals, he wasnt a sellout. but not being a marvel actor cant be a personality. not being one is not enough its a "yes and?". Dave being a boomer. having a terrible website because hes bad at it. i could call il puppetman and have him incarnate cal or bro (bro is cal's ideal man) but dave has already bird motifs in canon. And being a "birdman" goes as well as we know.
