Beach Read: A (spoiler-free) review: Every once in a while, there is a novel that just lightly taps on my romantic sweet tooth. Beach Read saw that I was craving a nice getaway novel with cute banter and wholesome characters and it delivered a sweet treat. The love interests both have a plausible history with one another. Even though their situation requires a small suspension of disbelief, it is not completely outside the realm of possibility. As a fellow writer, their struggles are understandable. Additionally, the subplot regarding the female protagonist's family is stellar.
